If zero stars was an option I'd put it. I decided to contact this lender since they seemed to be very highly rated and professional. The initial phone call with Mike was quick and he seemed knowledgeable and that it would be a good lender to work with. I submitted an application and sent in the requested documents. I was then contacted by Haylee telling me about additional items that were needed. I sent these documents as well. About 5 days later I inquired if there was any update on the status of the application. Haylee responded and said she would get with Mike to see if they could issue a pre-approval. Then there was complete radio silence. 2 weeks go by and I again ask for any update from both Haylee and Mike. Nothing. A few weeks later I randomly get a letter requesting information that I already sent. But no responses to any of my messages. I email Mike asking about this letter and asking for an update. Once again no response. So here I am 2 months later from my intial contact wondering what happened and how a business can be so completely unprofessional. I have good credit and make a good income so I really can't understand what could possibly warrant this behavior. I don't know where these wonderful reviews came from because the whole thing was a complete waste of time and effort for me. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a professional and reliable lender.

I am the seller and a licensed real estate agent. If I could write this review with 0 stars I would. This company has made so many errors, settlement was delayed for two weeks. I couldnt move on with my life, being free of the property, and the poor buyer kept being forced to delay moving. In the end, they arent explaining to the buyer that it really should never have been this hard. Most frustrating real estate experience in 16+ years.

Ask for Kent Ege. He will take care of you from start to finish. Consummate professional, and just a nice guy who seemed personally invested in our home-buying adventure. It felt like we were his only clients--thats how attentive he was. No hiding the ball, no games. Went out of his way to explain things (we asked a LOT of questions). We closed in three weeks thanks to Kents 24/7 hard work. If we ever have to work with a lender again, were going back to Kent!

Kent was amazing. From our very first call I found him relatable and easy to talk to. He understand my situation and what I was looking for. Throughout the entire process he was available for help. When my realtor and I were looking at homes he would give use instantaneous monthly mortgage payment estimates. Also, he was great about explaining things so that I understood and felt comfortable with everything. He worked closely with my agent to make it all happen. I felt like Kent was just as excited as I was about finding and buying my home. Kent was able to secure a great rate for me and my actuals turned out slightly lower than the estimate which is a bonus. the entire experience was easy and I know Kent will continue to help with mortgage.

Marty and his team were super helpful during the home buying process. His team is very communicative which is a first for me, Ive worked with places like Wells Fargo in the past and had no idea what was going on, that never happened with Marty. Ive already referred other people to him when theyve run into issues.

OK, Im old. Ive dealt with more than a few mortgage companies, and usually the experience is marginally satisfactory at best. My experience with Mike Davidson at Embrace Home Loans was the exception. While many mortgage brokers just push you along, Mike takes the time to explain the process and ensure that you are getting the best deal. I found myself trusting him more than I have ever trusted a mortgage broker. Hes genuine, honest, and personable. In the unlike event that I ever go into the real estate market again, Mike will be the one that I seek out.

Mike and the team at Embrace were really great to work with. They responded to emails and phone calls promptly. They requested documents and information clearly so while it took work to gather all the information you knew exzactly what they needed. They responded and adjusted quickly to last minute changes in the settlement. Their online portal works very well for transmitting documents. This was not our first home lone but it was by far, the best experience.
