We’ve been working with Lake Cumberland Marine for the last seven years and they are truly the best Marine we’ve ever worked with. The service they give is second to none. They have Physically made visits to our boat on holiday weekends to help take care of of an issue to allow us to enjoy our weekend. we have been boating for 45 years and have worked with several different dealers and I’ve never experienced the kind of service that KC and his team at Cumberland Marine provides. The service managers, Casey & Savannah, are professional, friendly and helpful. The detail shop is also top notch and we are always excited to get our boat in the spring! We store our boat in their warehouse in the off-season as well.

Very easy to do business with. Large selection of new boats, accessories, towables, ropes, parts. Also have off road vehicles. They coordinated and honored the Taylor Made lifetime warranty on fenders. Researched and ordered replacement parts for an older boat. Highly recommend this business!

Horrible experience. Purchased our ski there and had a wonderful summer. With a new season we decided to Have our ski oil changed, and they found issues. Fixed them and the ski never ran again. Took it back. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage. We talked it over and agreed to pay for new parts and they would waive the service. Called on our way to pick it up and was told $980!!! We refused, needless to say we finally got our ski… which was soaking wet and had clearly just been in the water. I do not recommend. They will lie, break your stuff and joy ride it while you pay for their entertainment. Avoid at all cost!!!

UPDATE - I recently purchased my third boat from Lake Cumberland Marine. Tyrel and Casey were simply excellent on the sales side. I was in a little bit of a bind and they worked with me even after hours to help get me what I needed. Savanna in service is always on top of things and very responsive. And while I do not get to deal with her often, Amber in finance brings it all together when youre ready. The recent purchase was a trade from a Malibu to a Nautique G25. Tyrel and Casey did not steer me wrong. A beautiful boat and a great boat buying experience. I will continue to refer people to Lake Cumberland Marine and its team. I have been a boat owner for about 12 years now. I did a trade in / new purchase with Al at Lake Cumberland Marine and I could not be more pleased with the experience so far. Al was very responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I didn t feel like I was being sold on anything. It was a straight forward experience without any hassle. After taking delivery there were a few very minor issues that came up with the boat. It was not anything mechanical or that limited the use but the service department jumped right on it. I just had my 50 hour service and Tyrel took great care of me. He allowed me to schedule a slot first thing in the morning one day and got me out within two hours so we could get back on the lake. Not only did they service the engine but they took care of those few issues as well. In addition to Al and Tyrel, Casey has also been involved with my experience. If Al or Tyrel weren t available for any reason, Casey was sure to step in and help out. Everyone there treats you like you ve been a customer for years. I ve already got my eyes on the next boat and will definitely stick with Lake Cumberland Marine.

Customer service is decent but definitely has alot of room for improvement. I dropped my baja off the end of April to be fully gone through, inspected to fix any issues, De-winterized and timing adjusted. I drove here from Knoxville Tennessee paid them almost $1,600 tipped everyone and drove 4 hrs to boat slip to discover what they should have starting with a dead cell battery. So needless to say now Im at the back of list and have no earthly idea when itll be fixed. I was treated like it was my fault that they got it wrong, when all I wanted was what I paid for and treated like a valued customer. I just received a call from Casey stating because of my public review theyre not going to honor their word, nor fix our boat. I guess the employees make all the decisions at this establishment. Never before in my entire life have been to a business that tries make you feel like the bad guy when all I wanted was my boat fixed

LCM is absolutely amazing! I looked at over 7 dealerships two years ago before purchasing a boat. Their team is efficient, courteous, quick to respond. They made my purchase a PLEASURE After my purchase any issues I ve had has been addressed with the upmost importance. Casey has been the most amazing person to deal with always going the extra mile. If you have problems with this guy, You are the problem not him. I will not purchase from anyone but LCM nor will no one else service my boat. Go back today three years after my purchase and was treated as if I had bought a million dollar boat from LCM. Little Savannah is wise beyond her years. She s behind the counter, on the floor, in the office doing everything to make sure every coustomer is satisfied.

I bought a new Can Am Defender XT HD10 a few weeks ago and blew a fuse installing a light bar. I couldnt find it and called the service department. They sent me pics and diagrams and showed me what I needed. Casey & the Sales Dept. was also great in making the deal happen. I highly recommend them fir sales & service!

Miss Savannah in the service department is top notch. Have taken my boat as well as my fathers here for years. She always remembers me and my family. She always knows what s going on with our boats. She has helped with service and upgrades and teaching us how to use the stereo system that confused us all at first. Very friendly, personalized service. Tyrell has also been extremely friendly and helpful in the past. I trust these folks to be honest and fair and they have never shown me otherwise. Excellent service. We routinely go there for winterizing our boat. On Friday, we had an issue with our boat, they talked us through possible issues. We took it in Saturday morning and it was ready to go that afternoon. They have always been willing to troubleshoot things over the phone. Super helpful. Great work!

Great service! We are first time boat owners and Harvey was exceptional in answering all of our questions, showing patience with our 1st timer anxieties, showing us the boat we (really) wanted, and helped with our 1st launch and trailering. His advice for additional needed boating products, like ropes, anchors, fenders, etc. was also appreciated, since as 1st time owners it was all new to us. Bought a brand new 26 Chap Surf from them a couple years. Salesman Dan was nothing more than a yes man, saying yes yes yes to everything but doing nothing. Casey the sales manager obviously doesn t manage his sales people or technicians. I had a punch list longer than my arm they were to complete before delivering the boat and very little of it was done. Very very bad and extremely disrespectful buying experience. I cannot and would not recommend.

I will have to say I was recently WOW d by my last experience. I forgot to call ahead before closing hours to have my boat pulled out and ready for me to pick up. I called and left a message Saturday after 3 in hopes that someone would receive my message. Later that day I got a message from Savannah, the service manager that my boat was placed outside the fenced in area and available for me to pick up. When I called her on Monday to thank her, I asked her how she made it happen. She told me my voicemail was forwarded to her cell and after dinner that night, she drove her personal truck over to the dealership and pulled my boat out for me. That s what I call going above and beyond expectations. That is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thanks Savannah!

I was inside their building looking at boats and trying to attract an employee to show me personal watercraft - I was wanting a new Sea Doo and of the 6 or 7 employees I saw nobody said a word or acknowledged my presence . None of them were helping another customer or anything . I left and tried to drive around the building to see if there was a separate building selling personal watercraft like their large Sea Doo banner on the fence suggests . There was no access so I went back into the showroom and had the same experience again .Finally as I was leaving a sales man passed me so I asked him about their personal watercrafts and all he said was they were sold out . I will not be returning in the future to such an unfriendly inefficient business .

Great place to buy a boat. This was my first time dealing with Lake Cumberland Marine. I actually live in NC and was interested in a boat they had on their website. I was contacted by one of their sales professionals, Tyrel Inabnitt, who answered any questions I had. We set up a time that I could come look the boat over and hear it run, etc. I had a long drive to do this, so I was very grateful, that when I got there he had everything set up and ready to go. My Seadoo boat got hit from behind by a vehicle, did quite a bit of damage, including totaling the trailer. Tyrel handled the claim and sure enough when fixed, it was as good as new. Even got me into a new Yacht Club trailer. Couldnt be more happy about the service given and his handling the situation for me. I store it there during Winter and he has always taken care of it. Gets it winterized and has it waiting on me when picking up in the Spring. Anytime I have called there, he has always made himself available to talk. Great Service and 100% completely satisfied. LCM has always taken great care of our boating needs! Always very friendly and quick, which is always very important for a seasonal sport. My biggest compliment goes to Tyrel in service. Have taken skis in thinking I might have major issues & Instead of taking advantage of that, he has always been honest and has got me back on the water, sometimes at less cost than I was expecting! Not many service centers I can say the same about... check them out for your next purchase or service!

I can say I bought a seadoo jet ski here a few weeks ago and Harvey assisted me in making my decision. He even knocked some off the cost of the jet ski and squeezed in a trailer to accommodate me with what I was working with in cash. Even assisted me in accessory purchases I wouldnt of thought about. Thanks yall. This was the first major purchase I have ever made and Im more than pleased with the entire teams assistance. I know Ill be screaming thanks while on the lake soon as well!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED In the Sales Department of Lake Cumberland Marine in Somerset Kentucky. My salesman was Harvey, who I have been dealing with for the past month. I was purchasing a 2020 HydroStepp boat that they have had listed since June 2021. This boat was listed for $42,900, which we negotiated to $38,500, it had less than 50 hours on the engine and I was assured multiple times by Harvey that the boat was in new condition. After a 13 hour drive to pick up the boat (one way), I noticed within the first 2 minutes that this boat was NOT in new condition. The boat has multiple hull damage to the forward hull, scratches, dents and even a hole the size of a half dollar in the gel coat. I opened one hatch and the waterproof trim was falling off. At this point I decided not buy the boat or even inspect any further. Harvey at this point was silent with NO apologies!!! I am grateful that I didn t have this shipped to me in Florida, so beware with dealing with their sales department, because they are just out for the sale.

Bought used jet ski from dealership..stated extensive work had been completed on it prior to purchase. When we had an issue a month later and took in to another dealership , computer on jet ski indicated otherwise. Spoke to owner of Cumberland Marina who assured us if we brought it back to them, they d make it right. Charged us almost $600 to change out sensor. Service personnel were rude . When spoke to owner regarding bill, stated he had nothing to sue with service department., will never use them again.. terrible customer service

You will find that most if not all boats they sell they as a broker or a third party which means if you do your research on most of the boats they sell you will be paying to much due to the fact they are a broker so they have to get their cut as a third party. Do your research don t over pay.

Bought a jet ski from these people.they said it was serviced and should be perfect. Much to my surprise they worked on it all summer . I ran it 2 1/2 hrs. This year. Still taking on water. I hope you enjoy your 1000.00 you costed me Dan . never again . your not a sea doo dealer .

Ronnie made buying a boat long distance very comfortable. We emailed back and forth several times. He answered every question we could think of and he sent 32 pictures of the boat we were looking to purchase. Tyrell and his service department are outstanding. I met Ronnie at the LOUISVILLE Boat show. He was upfront and very informative on the Glastron I purchased. It was one of the easiest boat transactions I have ever completed. I also traded in a pontoon and Lake Cumberland was very fair on the trade in as well. I drove 2 hours out of town and was definitely worth it! Gee...where do I start. We took possession of our 2018 Axis A24 late July 2018. During the test run, they failed to make sure boat had gas and mechanic failed to connect the hose that cools the engine. In turn, we overheated, the boat filled up with water and we nearly sank. Thank goodness I had my bathing suit cuz I had to jump in the water to swim the boat to the dock. One week later, we had to take the boat back in the shop due to some tree damage, but was able to take it out for Memorial Day weekend. However, they turned the boat over with dead batteries (mind you the boat is less than 3mos. old) and left us, once again, stuck on the dock. They told us we had to drive back to their marina (over an hour away) to replace the battery. I FIRMLY had to insist they have someone come out to deliver us new batteries, which they did, but with an attitude. Lastly, it took them a total of 3 mos. to complete all repairs to our boat due to the tree damage. The GM was very defensive the entire ordeal and was not customer oriented whatsoever. I respect that he is defending his employees, but as a GM, you also have a responsibility to your customers/buyers. Ive refrained for 3 mos. from posting any negative reviews on social media, expecting the GM to make things right at the end, to no avail.

Dan was very nice and professional throughout the entire process and I felt comfortable the whole time I was dealing with him. The service department was very kind as well, even though I called them every other day to check on the status of my new boat, they were nice and helpful everytime. Whenever I decide to upgrade I will be back.

Wooowww!! From beginning to end, WOW is the only way to describe the service I have received there , specifically when you buy your first boat . Dan made the experience so pleasant and easy! I had quite a few problems with the boat I purchased from this dealer. The GM stepped up and took the time to help me sort through these issues when he could have simply walked away. Nice to see people interested in the long term and the customer

LCM completed repairs and had my boat back at my boat slip before expected. Boat was totally cleaned and ready for the season.

When you walk in the front door, you are greeted with professional sales people and great CSR personnel. Lake Cumberland Marine is a classy place. The floor plan looked great and the atmosphere is even better. Even if you are just buying parts, you are greeted with professionalism. They are there to help you with whatever is needed for your job. I bought a trailer from them and they treated me as if I was buying a $50K boat. I will go back when I am looking to trade or buy another jet ski. I drove 2.5 hours and definitely worth my time to deal with a Class act dealer. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking for good equipment and great people to work with you. Keep up the good work.

Would highly recommend. The team is wonderful, both knowledgeable about boats and the accessories they sell, as well as personable.The customer service was fantastic and the years of experience in the boating world was obvious. Had a great test drive too. Roni and Amber both went beyond normal customer service and it was appreciated.

Loved doing business with Ronnie Turner, Amber, and the staff at LCM. They made sure that I got the exact boat that I wanted at a very fair price (I had been searching for months). I would recommend that ANYONE do business with this Dealership! They are top notch from understanding what I wanted, to a seamless finance process, to additions of all options that I wanted on the boat! Loved doing business with them!

Amazing customer service, honest and trustworthy went there for installation of a wear ring on a seadoo while on vacation. Called me an hour later said seadoo was ready did not need a wear ring just had something caught in the pump!

I live in South Florida and saw a used Velocity 320 offered by them online. I called and spoke with Dan. He was very professional and easy to deal with. Dan had the boat ready upon my arrival and allowed me FULL access to it. I have been around boats my whole life (51 years) so I was able to go through it from bow to stern and see that it was as advertised with no hidden problems. Amanda was very accommodating and made the purchase very easy. Thank you Lake Cumberland Marine for making the acquisition of my new boat such an enjoyable experience!!!

Would like to compliment Casey and his team at Lake Cumberland Marine for the incredible and thorough work they did and will continue to do on our Skater powerboat. Everything from mechanical improvements on the motors/drives to the installation of one of the baddest stereo/interior cockpit LED light installs Ive ever seen on a boat before. LCM executed these jobs to T and completed them in the time frame promised.

Horrible service. Rude service manager, Tyrel. Had a warranty issue with sea-doo spark. They refused to service it, even though they are a certified sea-doo service location, because they didnt like we bought it elsewhere. I called back to see if they would help 2 days later. When I asked why it matters where I bought it, he said I dont like to work on ones bought at some places. Refused to service the unit and hung up on me when I complained. Will purchase everything at Dennys marine in Albany, KY and advise everyone to do the same for friendly service and a great deal!

I boat a used cabin cruiser from them. Dan assured me boat was in great working order. First day on water realized boat had several issues: bilge pump only worked in manual, CO2 sensor not functional, shower drain pump doesnt work, pressurized water leaks a lot, speedo doesnt work, depth finder only works some of the time. Adding insult to insult; I paid Lake Cumberland Marine $20/ft for detailing inside and out. Boat inside had not been cleaned. There was a dirt dauber nest in the Aft cabin visible from the galley!!?? I would not recommend anyone doing business with these guys.

Dan was very nice and assured me that the boat was top notch and the trailer would make it back to WI from KY. We bought the boat unseen as with the boats he sold I figured he could be trusted to sell a older boat. I asked pointed questions like if there were blisters or any gel coat cracked and the history of the boat if he knew of any work done to it. When we arrived in checking out the trailer we found a bad bearing that was cracked and we had to repair it this was after he told me his guys checked out the trailer and they said it was good. In looking at the tires their was three different rims on it and the tires well they lasted about an hour down the road before it blew out and the other was about to go. Again I asked him if the tires were good otherwise I would have brought a set of tires I had but I ended up with having to drive 40mph to Louisville to a Tractor supply to buy two new tires 277.00 and then found out the trailer lights did not work and had to rewire the trailer in the parking lot of tractor supply. Now looking at it closer we found the gel coat cracked and the floor rotted. So like the other review buyer beware you need to have the boat suryed. Again we knew we were not buying a perfect boat but thought it was good boat that needed some TLC not a complete transom and hull rebuild. So again make sure if you are buying a used boat from him to have it surveyed so you do not end up with a lemon.

Bought a used boat from them and was assured boat was 100% and that it had been through their service department twice. Paid $17K for it and had it on water for 30 minutes and discovered 3 inoperable gauges and smoke from engine bay. Water pump impeller was bad and I had to be towed in. Took boat back to them and they fixed boat and charged me $300 and told me it was general maintenance. Owner wouldnt even call me back after I voiced my displeasure with boat. Only got the excuse that it was a brokered boat. I bought it from Lake Cumberland Marine and they represented it and assured me of it being top notch. I am a business owner and would not do someone as they did me. Its not even the repair bill that upsets me, its the lack of care that they are missing, I would never go back nor refer them to anyone. I know they have very nice and expensive boats, but I feel as if I was not treated the way a customer should. Buyer Beware!
