Kristen was so helpful! She helped us realize we were drastically overpaying on our insurance, helped us easily apply for a refinance to get funds to do a home addition, and was a very kind, professional person to work with. We are so excited to begin our construction process and make more space for our home in a neighborhood we adore. We tried to do some renovations and used a different lending company in 2021 and it went so poorly we were unable to get funds, and had to cancel the project. This process was much better in every way. If you’re looking for a home loan/ refinance I would definitely recommend Golden Oak and Kristen.

Sean Day is an outstanding professional! As he guided me through the process of refinancing my house, I felt safe and confident that I was getting the best deal. He's knowledgeable and thorough, he answered my questions with great clarity and ease. One of the things that I appreciated during the process is that Sean would call or email me just to let me know where we were in the process, especially when all there was to do was wait for the underwriters review, and this kept my mind at ease. All you can hope for when working with someone is that they are kind, honest, hard-working, genuine, trustworthy, efficient, know what they re doing and give a damn about doing it right. Dave Wexler IS that rare person. In my 63 years on this earth, I ve experienced hundreds of professionals on all sorts of projects. Go see Dave Wexler. The guy is going to save you money. If you dont need money, then why are you even looking at this comment section? Go buy your new car and leave us alone. Anyways, Dave and everyone I have ever dealt with here went out of their way to help me. He was able to answer all my questions, and trust me, I had some pretty stupid ones. If I ever refi again, I dont have to look around, I know where Im going.......Taco Bell, but then after that, Golden Oak.

Jeff took me from zero to 100 mph in 3.2 seconds! His customer service is just unparalleled. That is so rare these days!! I had just about given up on my dream of owning my own home, and Jeff said Lets see what we can do! Then, Boom, he helped me get things where they needed to be so I could get approved and into my own home in 5 weeks! Hes a mover & a shaker! His advice is solid! Terrible company to work with. Took forever to get back to us. We had to continue to call and email in order to get anyone to communicate with us. Took 2 months for them to come back and say that they werent actually able to help us with our refinance. Would not recommend to anyone.

90+ days and still no end in sight. We live in Blue Springs MO. In a stable and quiet community in a peaceful home. Good credit and a stable cash flow (6 figures). We started our refinance with Golden Oaks the first week in Oct 2020. while it all looked favorable to be completed things became stalled. An email explaining their underwriting was taking a incredibly long time to process. Fast forward to this afternoon, we will have to find sometime in February . I realize historically this company had a good reputation, but at this time my confidence is finally wavering. A perfect payment history and I feel like we are practically still at the beginning with a timeline. Just keep your hopes grounded and understand the normal timetable may need to be tripled if you hope to refinance with the current interest rates here.

I am a firm believer in business is people and people is business . Golden Oak should be extremely proud to have a guy like T.J. Rasmussen representing them. He told me on the onset that he was there to answer any questions I had and believe me, I had plenty! He never once made me felt like I was a pest. I would give zero stars if possible! This has been the absolutely worst experience ever. The process took almost 3 months to close. Brian Jones was our lender and took 3 weeks to even contact the appraiser. He would give a date to close, then change it and then blame me that I was making up dates. This happened several times. Finally closed and expecting the cash out to be wired to our bank account and it is now 24 hours past the promised time to be available. The money now is lost between banks and may be delayed another 3 to 4 business days. Worst experience ever!

We just finished refinancing our house with TJ Rasmussen and during this difficult time due to covid19 he was able to work my husband and myself remotely . Of course we had to meet in person part of the time but he was courteous ,very helpful, patient, knowledgeable, covid19 precautions and in record time we have finished the refinance with the interest rate lower. I would highly recommend TJ he was just amazing answering all our questions and concerns and didn t mind after hours calls if we had concerns. Again, would recommend TJ easy to work with and does his job diligently and in record time. This is not the first home we have purchased but this was the easiest financing we have been through in the past.

Very positive experience working with Kristen. She stayed in constant communication with me throughout this entire process. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and was always willing to address any concerns or questions I had. I appreciate the patience and honesty she displayed when working with me. If she didnt have an immediate answer to any of my questions, she made a point to find out and then provided an answer within a day or two but most times even sooner. Pretty disappointed in the service Ive received from Golden Oak. Ive been getting the runaround for 3 months now. My rep disappears for weeks on end with 0 update or reply. Ive been told were signing on my refinance, then were not signing on it, then were signing on it over and over. Ive paid my mortgage late twice now because Ive been waiting on direction with very few emails or calls. All this time wasted so I guess Ill go shop around for someone who actually wants my business.

TJ Rasmussen was our loan officer. I have closed on 15+ home loans in my life and TJ s performance on my recent refinance was by far the best I ve experienced! He gathered our information quickly, processed it efficiently and maintained a good balance of professionalism with personalization. I ve already referred my daughter to TJ which is probably my best review comment.

I applied for a refinance through Golden Oaks Zip-Line Mortgage in late November 2019. I worked with Tom French, who was fantastic. He kept me up to date every step of the way. I was approved and the process was efficient and quick. I closed about a month from putting in my application with a lower rate than my previous mortgage. Great company to work with. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. For me, thats the highest complement I can give because I believe that when you vouch for someone or something, you are putting your own reputation on the line and I would not do that lightly. Our Loan Officer was TJ Rasmussen. He was prompt, thorough, patient, and understanding. The only qualifier I would give to my entire experience is that I am what you would call a rather easy customer. I had all the necessary documents he was going to need. I had the flexibility to rearrange my schedule if necessary. My credit, homeowner history, and background are of the great, easy, and bland variety. Regardless, TJ was great. He listened, understood my concerns and kept me informed of the entire process. I never felt pressured and he explained my options and even gave me additional ones when I asked.
