Cornerstone Bank

My employer has been banking with Cornerstone Bank for many years. The people at Cornerstone Bank are so helpful when I need help with anything related to our accounts. People like Mark, Tyler, and Prom have done a tremendous job helping me keep all of our various bank accounts in order, even when I make a mistake. They are helpful, will answer any questions my boss or I have. Their customer service is outstanding and what I expect in an excellent banking facility.

I needed to transfer money in a hurry today and I talked with Jonah and Joel. Two guys that couldn’t have been more helpful! Jonah answered all my silly questions and transferred me to speak with Joel about the wiring process. He thoroughly explained the process and fees involved. The amount of time it would take to do so. I always have a bazillion questions and bleed him, he was so patient and kind. Been banking here for a few years and everyone is ALWAYS top notch. Professional and genuine. It’s like a small town bank in a fast paced world where you aren’t just another number!

The staff that works at Cornerstone Bank are the best! Everyone who has ever assisted us have been extremely friendly and helpful. We have mostly had contact with Holly, and just can't say enough good about her. She has the nicest smile and is so welcoming, even when we just pop in for help. Someone reached out this morning to our company asking if we would like to switch banks. I told them I would need to speak with the owner. They told me to call back and ask for Jim Dowl (pronounced Duel but spelling may not be right). I spoke with the owner who said they could send info so I called back and asked for Jim, they put me on hold for a few minutes and then hung up on me. I am not sure why they even called if they didnt want me to call back but okay. Will be keeping this in mind for myself, friends, and family.

This bank refused to cash a check from one of their accounts because I was not a customer and refused to verify the check so I could deposit it in my bank account. Basically a check written on one of their accounts is worthless.

I was I was paid by a client, who Banks here and I live all the way up in North Kansas City Missouri so I googled search this organization so I can come down to the location to cash his check. As I arrived here looking forward to casting my little bit of money that I earned, the young lady, kind of sneered at me look at my check, and then told me that they dont cash checks there unless I have an account. I asked hey do you charge a fee for this know we just do not cash checks from our clients to second party youll have to go to Walmart so in short it would be nice if they would put on their website that they do not cash handwritten two-party checks regardless if its from their clients

Cornerstone s Online banking application is the worst of any bank I have ever used, has only one bank location, and no hours on weekends. Management certainly didn t go the extra mile for me so I moved all my money out after 3 months. Found a bank that paid 150% more interest with a 60 day early withdrawal penalty on a 12 month cd. Cornerstone charges a ridiculous 6 month interest early withdrawal penalty in comparison on a 12 month cd.

We have had a business banking relationship with Cornerstone for several years. John D is extremely fast on response times and they are bankers who can pretty much tell you with a phone call if they can do a business loan or not for your situation. We have recently changed over our business banking as well. The transition could not have gone any smoother, every person you needed to contact got hold of you before you even knew you needed them. The systems match larger banks and the people could not be anymore kind or helpful. Thank you!

Im blown away by my experience at Cornerstone Bank. I use them for business checking. If I need a wire transfer or have complex questions, they are quick to get back with me. If you call, you talk directly to someone at the location, no waiting on hold or any of that. We met the VP and President when setting up our small account - even our account gets VIP treatment. I would recommend them to anyone. I have used a franchise bank for personal checking and it has always been a headache to get anything done - not the case for Cornerstone!

I had a very excited to be part of a bank who puts their people first and who are knowledgeable about the banking laws and requirements. I originally deposited my contractors check in my bank(@ that time) BOA they told me my would funds wouldve available next day. To my surprise they were not and I needed to pay my employees . BOA PUT THE CHECK ON for 10 day HOLD . I could not wait 10 days to pay my employees. So th contractor wrote another check and CornerStone Bank d a 1 time favor and cash it for me so I could get my employees paid . Because Cornerstone was so willing to help my contractor out and was so helpful with me I decided to open my business account there with them that same day . It was fast and efficient. Cynthia Wilson was extremely nice and efficient. Im glad I switched. Ive been nothing but happy with the service.

Veronica made opening up our new account so easy and stress free, especially during this pandemic. She came outside to our car to conduct our business so my elderly mom did not have to enter the building. Already love everything about Cornerstone Bank and their employees who go above and beyond!

I absolutely love Cornerstone Bank. My whole family has banked here since the early days. We ve always received very personal service and great rates. The interest rates on checking were amazingly high when we started. With the downturn in economy, they aren t what they once were but they re still high above the rest of the industry. I ve stayed a customer even after moving out of state. Their policy to return ATM fees and their customer service means I don t need access to a brick and mortar building to have a great experience. Once I was headed out of the country so I wanted to give a heads up to expect different charges. I spoke to a teller that I d worked with before so I don t think I even gave a last name. When I got off the phone, my friend who overheard was so shocked that my bank actually knew who I was. But that s just the kind of personal experience I ve come to expect. I am very happy with the experience and will remain a customer for many years.

I by chance opened an account with Cornerstone, simply expecting the same service I ve received with any other bank I ve dealt with in the past. Oh no... John, Mark, and Renee went so far above and beyond the normal banking service I was expecting. I am so impressed with all of them and everything I ve seen with Cornerstone.
