Pretty good place to pick up used firearms at a good price as I have bought several. With hat being said I visited today to Pawn something for a few days to help out a Family member and it was definitely a negative experience. Younger guy, blindfish hair, scruffy beard, glasses and ball cap. Took in a full bag of Milwaukee M18 Brushless tools In definitely New open box condition as they are only personal use in my garage and was told he could ‘maybe’ push it up to $300 on a five day loan. My tools are open and used and I understand loan values but maybe could push up to $300 dollars for $1400 dollars paid initially.

rude and arragant staff. I would not recomend this pawn shop to any one. The young kid behind the counter is so rude to you at the moment you show up he makes it feel like you are ruining his day. I would rather driver to indianpolis and go to EZ pawn then go here... this is 5 minutes from my house. everything they sell is used. However its priced as if it is brand new with a warrenty. They will negotiate, but only for 5-10 off the total item. Litteraly this rifle i was looking at had a stock held together with electrical tape and a roofing strap. He would not come down from the price of $1400. He tried to tell me that is how they were made back in the day.... Samual Colt would of rolled over in his grave if something left is warehouse looking like that... it is shameful to think that someone so young could ruin... just because you over paid for an item doesnt mean you need to punish everyone...

Customer service here is top of the line. They maintain communication and send text when your payment is coming up. They are affiliated with an application that allows you to make payments from your phone instead of going in store. I came in to sell my gun i have been using them for years till recently ( staff is horrible) except for the gal that works their shes great but you shouldn t talk to customers like they are trash i bought the gun brand new and they kept telling me it wasnt the right gun and told me it was a 250 value when to buy new is almost 600 Not to mention the compensator and all the work done to it

Came in with a friend so he could sell his gun, he told him what it was and he kept looking up wrong gun. The kid clearly didn t know much about guns or how to review them. He shop would only give 250$ for a perfect 700$ gun. My buddy decides to leave and as we were leaving my friend asked me if I knew anywhere else to take it. The guy or should I say child behind the counter started yelling at us always talking while you leaving as in he was wanting to start something by running is mouth. We just left because we ain t that kinda trash. Now with the stores said, I wouldn t go here unless you are dealing with the female behind the counter. This dude was not only rude but had no business working with fire arms and or customers. I will never come back as long as trash works there. So go down the street they offer more and treat you right.

I pawned an item there and was expecting to get the same amount I have received from that item before. This time the Supposedly store manager decided to give me less money even though I just pawned the same item a month prior and got it out. It is not right and its not fair to treat loyal customers like that. If it wasnt for people like me she wouldnt have a job.

I use this place if not daily then weekly whether buying something or getting a loan on my stuff. The employees are curtious and pleasant they make fair offers and vice versa. I believe this is the only pawn shop that Ive ever had to tell him that I didnt want to take as much money as they were offering from my stuff and they will work with you on your payments and Blackwing and I just I enjoyed it pawn shop I feel like its the best one to ever be in Martinsville and it will continue to be there for a long time because of this reason the only reason I dont give them a 5-star rating hey because they dont sell beer and food.

The staff at goldnpawn are nice and show compassion about we who have to use this type of loan program. I consistent use them as kadt resort and use items that are on file from my history. They always take care of me and also really communicate status which helps me keep my items. 4 stars cause it costs alot to pawn, so take care of your credit!@

I went in to see payment information and it told me the information was no longer good. They fixed the payment issues. I really wanted this to be a small loan on things to get me through weak places but I have had trouble at work that seemed to be around when payments were due here, etc... It included me not getting positive responses and in general messed with my income which made it harder to pay my living expenses let alone my other bills. D&K storage was equally a part of it. I am disappointed that in a years worth of loans I could have bought new things but the hold up with tax checks, and other payments to me have been a financial burden to me. When I initiated several loans a police officer showed up and was inquiring in uniform about other things while he watched me. Those are my things right now and I would like to make more than just enough to live on, to get these things back without hassle from a cop who might be questioning if they were mine, when in fact all recipients were registered through Walmart at least for the most part. Dont use them unless you want a cop questioning your ownership of your own property.

Everything in the pawn shop has a story and a price. And if there s one thing I ve learned from 21 years shopping at pawn shops you never know what is going to come through that door. The interest on a loan is so stupid its criminal. I paid 460.00 in interest on 800.00 That will never happen again in my life. If I ever get in a pinch again Ill figure something out. The folks here do a great job of offering a boat load of items for sale. They are very fair on prices and do an awesome job with FFL transfers at a super competitive price. I have bought numerous guns from them. Obviously the selection is hit or miss based on what theyve acquired and you have to check in weekly for what is new and available. Over a year or so, Ive picked up a really nice Ruger, a sweet West German Sig, a High Standard nickel plated Sentinel, and a nice Smith & Wesson Model 19. If youre into older quality firearms, look them up. I started my relationship with the folks at their first location in Elletsville and was happy when they opened up their Martinsville location. Really friendly folks and they are a good relationship based business. They no my name and treat me like a friend! Im more of a buyer than a seller and there is always something cool to buy that is fairly priced. Good selection of tools too....
