Don’t get a car loan here, they like to repo quickly and will lie and say they are not in the business of taking your car. If you don't have 30% paid on the loan , they will take the car with being 1 month late , regardless of you saying you will pay current and 1 more , they will want 10 mos upfront to get the car back.

Thank you Victor Hernandez for a a very pleasant and painless experience at American Eagle Bank! My mom has passed a month ago, and not only am I grieving, but I also feel the pressure of all the to dos that need to be done. One of the things that needed to be done is to have her car lease transferred into my name. Victor not only explained how to do that, but he also directed me on what to do with the other car that still needed to be paid off. I will start off by saying the staff at this bank, from behind the counter to the bankers themselves are great people. Always polite courteous, and understanding. Covid hit me hard and I fell behind On my auto loan, they worked with me as I scrambled to find a second job to catch up on my payments. Insert their rude arrogant recovery manager Yuri. While I understand it s part of that job to be somewhat abrasive and harsh. Tearing someone down when they are struggling mentally, physically, and financially is not a way to motivate people. Yuri is one of the most despicable human beings I ve ever had the misfortune of having a conversation with. I had a verbal agreement that he threw away over his feelings because I misspoke his name. While I understand there is a contractual obligation that I violated, the times were hardly in anyone s favor. You d believe there would be some understanding after being a longtime customer, but Yuri s ego got bruised. If I was better off I d seek legal action for some of the things that were said to me, simply disgusting. Stay far away, because if you have a catastrophic life event and fall behind, you ll have to deal with that wretched human being Yuri.

There are better establishments that offer more competitive rates, and this banks lack of prioritization of customer care only reinforces this sentiment. This will be the second time I get financed for a car through American Eagle. I have nothing but great things to say about this bank, they have great customer service, very competitive rates and a very pleasant atmosphere. Victor Hernandez assisted us with the financing of our new auto loan, he walked us through the documents we needed to fill and explained the whole process. We submitted our documents in which afterward we would return to complete and sign the documentation. We were returning when we realized traffic was very severe and set us back. I called Victor to explain we were running very late, 5pm to be exact. He told us it would be fine and he actually waited for us to arrive! We were very grateful for him to wait for us, this allowed us to get the financing for our car that very day. I am very appreciative that Victor went out of his way to get us financed that day and finalizing our documents, after the bank had closed. We were able to get our car the same day along with a great rate! This is why I highly recommend them for all your financing needs.

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly someone (I believe their name was Vanessa) picked up the phone. There was very little waiting (Im used to a very long wait and a terrible jingle at my other bank--very refreshing). Margaret helped me sort out an account issue and was very friendly and patient. Based on my experience Id highly recommend using them as your main bank. I probably would if I lived a little closer to one of their locations.

Originally gave 1 star as this bank has very primitive technology. They do have an method to pay a loan for a convenience fee online which is kind of high. I did get a call from Victor who explained if I log into the mobile app, the payment will be free vs paying the convenience fee. Only knock is that there is zero notification of this on the website.

A man named Yuri called me regarding a loan that my father has here. I responded for my father as Im a translator for him, and then asked how they got my phone number. Yuri became infuriated that I would ask this question, then told me that my fathers vehicle would be marked for possession and hung up on me. I called back and spoke with Lily and customer service who was wonderful (and the only reason why this review is not one star) who then informed me that My fathers car was not marked for repossession at all. So YURI straight up LIED in order to threaten me because he was angry I told him I was translating for my father and asked how they got my phone number. This man has no business working in any role interacting with people and If a business is willing to hire someone like this I can only imagine the other shady things that maybe going on

I needed help re-financing an auto loan after my recent divorce. It was quite the complicated situation because I had moved out of state and also needed to remove my former spouse from the title on my truck. I worked with Victor Hernandez in the auto loan dept. He made the whole process so simple. Documents were drawn up and UPS d to me. He obtained all the signatures needed from my ex husband and answered all my questions about switching titles over to my new home state. I would highly recommend him for auto loans! He made the whole process so easy and was great to work with!

I have always paid my auto note on time, never missing a payment until I experienced a temporary hardship where Ms. Lilly and staff where very understanding and guided me through their hardship process to help me during my rough spot. I really appreciate institutions and customer service like American Eagle Bank that works with customers such as myself.

I want to give a shout out to Lily L in the collections department. Throughout the pandemic she has been extremely helpful and empathetic. You dont always get that level of understanding from a bank. Thank you, Lily. I would give AME Bank 5 stars if not for the payment fees (lack of free online payments) and extension fees, although they did reduce the extension fees for the pandemic.

Today I was helped by a young lady who remained calm and was so polite and professional. She knew right away I am an honest man and when I stated that I paid and had prof she really went beyond her way to help me. I indeed paid the WRONG account. Boy did I feel dumb. I needed to get pay off information for several of our company vehicles that are financed at different banks. When I called American Eagle I was surprised that a live person actually answered the phone and was able to provide me our payoff in a couple minutes. Had a much different experience with all the others. From this point on, American Eagle will be our first choice when we need a loan. Thank you for the great service!

Worked with this bank for a while and every time i had excellent service. Appreciate the help from Roxanna and the manager Jerry. Both were very polite and took great care of me! Excellent communication and support. I will not hesitate to bank or finance with American Eagle.

Look at the other reviews! I have an auto loan with this bank and have the same issues as everyone else. Their process is archaic and they make you jump through hoops to set up automatic payments and to view statement balance. Customer service is a nightmare and the collections department is worse to work with.

Im so glad to be done, very upset with myself for not refinancing when given the opportunity. This bank was an absolute nightmare, and hate that I have to give it Any stars. I could write a novel on all of the horrible things this bank does. They did not offer any way of viewing your loan, no way of paying it except going to their bank, which was not an option for me, or snail mail; if you have to pay through them over the phone they charge you $25!! So you basically have to pray they are receiving your checks, and applying them to your account in a timely manner, which big surprise they do not. So even though my checks were sent way in advance, nearly half of the time they were holding them, or misplacing them (Im not sure which), until they were a day late, so they could charge you fees. And you cant go online to view your history, or pay, because they are still doing things like they did in 1984. I really could go on and on. They have the worst customer service, they will lie and tear up your credit in the process. They are definitely a sub-prime lender, if you have any other options Take It. Avoid this bank at All costs. You will be sorry if you dont.

I have a car loan with them only. Never visted the bank since my loan was done through a dealership and bank is too far from home. Staff is helpful and answers phones pretty promptly. Did a good job of breaking down in detail how my interest and principle payments are applied. Reason they only get 3 stars is because theyre not very automated. I cant check my statements broken down online nor make payments online.

My uncle has been hospitalized & I called American Eagle Bank to bring his auto loan current. The manager, Jerry, worked with me to resolve the issue and was very courteous.

My only issue with the bank is how hard it is to get help for any questions I have. When I call with a question I am usually transferred around for a while. It is not any employees fault. They are usually pretty friendly and nice. They definitely need better training or some type of management helping around. The way they conduct themselves is not very professional. If I had called Bank of America with the same questions I would immediately have issues and answered resolved, but here, it can take days or weeks to get things sorted out. Maybe they need more employees? Im not sure, but they defiantly have areas to improve upon.
