Terrible experience with American Freedom and the broker must soon reconsider offering services from low-reputation insurers like American Freedom that play with their clients money and time. Investigate these insurers with terrible reputations very well. When you buy everything looks great and these companies only think in terms of $$$, they dont care about customer satisfaction. I believe that regulatory entities must be stronger.

Theyre shady. I tried to pay my cay my car off completely and they wouldnt let me. They said the maximum i could pay through the phone was $2500. When I called the next month to make the exact amount of payment they told me the maximum was $2000 and that it would have to be an electronic check and not over the phone. Then afterwards they said the max i could pay over the phone was $1500. How do you change the limit every month? They dont want me to pay my car off so they can continue to make money off my interest rate. Its funny how when I asked them if theyre going to keep changing up the numbers they have nothing to say and no idea with what to reply with. Then they will put you on hold for a very long time as they re probably trying to come up with some other b.s to say. Save yourself the headache people these people are greedy and definitely rats.

My worst experience ever. Never get a loan through this company. They suck. Lucy lies to you. They put a gps tracker that shuts off you car. We blew up the engine. Then paid the car off. They say they dont have a computer in the car. But my mechanic and kunes country where I bought the car say its installed. Now that I put the new engine in the car they wont take the device out so I can start the car. Lucy you can go to hell. She says make your payment. Then calls you 30 minutes latter acting like she the repo company. Lucy go to Grammer school and learn to speak English. So my after math is this I called #kunes country. And they told me that pronto wont send the check unless the device is installed. So pronto telling me that there us no device that is costing me money nope its a lie. I suggest to look at everyones state laws. Sue this company. Its illegal what there doing. Feel free to look me up on Facebook. We can share experiences.

Pronto finance is the best place to go if you want to get robbed. After one and a half year of paying my car I decided that I wanted to pay it off. I call to pay my car off and they tell me that I owe more than what I should. I went to pay off the remaining balance on my loan and they only accepted a maximum of $1000 per payment. The worst experience with a customer service representative, I would give 0 stars if I could!!!!! Im not saying that all of them, but the majority, do not have even a spark of patience when dealing with clients. When you have an issue regarding your loan, instead of giving you help, confidence, options or some solution, they talk to you with an arrogant attitude and almost scold you, Please train your staff with better training!!!

This is the worst finance company that I have ever came across. I financed a 2021 Hyundai Accent in March of 2021. I was in an accident of January of 2023 where my car was a total loss. The people who towed my car took it to a car lot and when I went back to check on it or get it towed to my own repair place, it was gone. tried to tell them that my car is totaled and that I can still make the payments I just need to help proving it was a total loss. No one wanted to help and they constantly kept saying well you still owe the money there is nothing we can do. The currently have me on a wage garnishment through my job and I was told that once my account is up to date and caught up that I could get off the wage assignment. I called once the account got current and I spoke to 3 different people. One told me that I had to have a zero balance in order to be removed from the wage garnishment. The second told me that I only owned the past due amount and to not worry about next months. The last person told me that I will stay on the wage assignment until the car is completely paid off. I can t even pay the bills I have because they take so much out. She was very rude and consistent that I stay on the wage assignment and when I asked her for help with solutions or anything, she was very very rude and nasty to me. I just want help to get off the wage assignment and make my own regular payments.

I have too much sadness because. I am in debt with Pronto Finance and my car is useless, my car is useless, this hurts me because they have many racist and bad-hearted people, I feel cheated and on top of that I have to pay 7,000 dollars to fix the cars engine and transmission and I was even left in debt. the street without a home. Giving him food My family takes advantage of the fact that we are immigrants makes me very angry and sad at the same time I lost all my money now I am left with the stupidest debt I have ever had because I cant find the logic because the car doesnt even work. The cart is already over and Ive only been there for six months and Ive only been there for 3 months, well, and the rest Ive paid up to $200 for Uber, my sacrifice was in vain.

Beware of this company. The communication sucks and the people here is very rude. This company doesnt give you 30 days before they disable your vehicle. The 30 day rule doesnt apply to this company. They will also disable your vehicle first and then send you a message. They will only give you 1 deferment for the life of the loan which its good for those who will be off work (due to a short-term disability) a few months without income. Yeah I will NEVER refer this company to my worst enemy.

DONT DO IT!!!!Absolutely the WORST ever!!!. Save yourself people from this company. It s not worth it. I m still dealing with them after 6 years? They do not care. They literally want every penny. Make sure the vehicle you choose is a good vehicle because if not you ll be stuck like me paying for a vehicle that was auctioned for 500. I still have a balance. Like come on. The most expensive thing on that truck WAS the tires 500. The body and heart was completely gone on the vehicle. After taking it to 3-4 shops with proof they ALL said the same there is no saving the vehicle. It literally auctioned for $500. They couldn t consider it a loss they forcefully want the remaining balance. If it auctioned for $500 what does that tell you . I ve had vehicles after pronto and no hassle and stress free. This came out the blue. Their still reporting me to my credit after the account has been closed/charged off as of 2020 This is what they do. Not to mention!! it s duplicated on my credit right now?? IT SHOULD ONLY BE ONE! . Did they report me twice in one month!? I m in double debt right now just from them That was unexpected. Pronto is the absolute WORST! On top of the payments changing every month, They shut my car off with the GPS tracking system they installed under my front seat. I was within a week behind on my payment & I was very communicative on my payday & when I could make the next payment. That Friday came around they called during my work shift (I could not answer, on the clock) they shut my vehicle off literally over 1 missed called I then received a text msg saying due to lack of communication my vehicle has been disabled. They left my car sitting on private property for over 2 weeks meanwhile hounding me every day for a payment. I had an older vehicle that needed to be started everyday & after 2 weeks vehicle did not want to start they sent 2 different tow trucks to pick it up and then billed me for the maintenance they had to do for the vehicle and the bill for the tow. Avoid financing with them if possible. & the worst part of it all....my car went to auction and they sold my vehicle for $700... Why they didnt let me buy it back for $700? & my bill break down. $9,008.51 balance $700 net sale amount of vehicle, bill of sale. $145 storage & fees $145. My ending balance I still owe them. $8,453.51 Shout out Nayeli C. Now where do I send my invoice for the 2 weeks I had to store the vehicle after it was already signed back over to you? & why am I being charged for a tow, when the vehicle was shut off on me. Why am I paying for storage if at the time my vehicle was signed over to them? they did not have to hound me down for this vehicle I volunteerly repod after they shut my vehicle off after 1 missed call. They knew my work hours I filled out a finance application they know the place & hours. They knew what they were doing.

I do not recommend them. Recently. My step-dad got into a car accident which lead the car to be a total loss. He still owes for the car but since the car was towed and doesnt work anymore the insurance was going to pay for what he still owes for the car. But pronto finance are being stubborn not wanting the insurance to pay them and they want my step-dad to pay whats left of the car. We keep telling them that the insurance is still waiting on them to call so they can get the check but they still dont listen. Now they are just harassing my step-dad everyday by calling and threatening him with going to court if he doesnt pay them back. Do not recommend pronto finance at all. Wish I can give them a big fat zero

I was there paying off full balance of my vehicle and I encounter Zitlali ( skinny girl with black hair) super rude and had no customer service attitude at all she didn t believe that we spoke with the department of titles in order to get tittle once we paid of full price only with cash. We asked for a manager she said she wasn t available so she said that we won t get the tittle today because the payment has to process and it will take 5 -8 weeks to get the tittle by mail but tittle department had said other wise when we spoke to them and told them why we needed right away. She was super ignorant and had no respect towards us, not even because we were paying full balance plus, than we asked her if we can get the late fee removed and at first she said no because she can t remove it but once we told her to ask her manager she went back and they did remove the late fee since we were paying it all off. So much more happen but they will probably do nothing . Horrible place to finance

Ive fallen on hard financial times over the past 6 months. I recently asked for an extension on a payment. Im a single working mother strapped for cash. First of all they had an old card number on file so I gave them the new one. Secondly, an arrangement was made...if I made a smaller payment the next day I could make the remaining balance plus late fee when I had my next payday as an auto payment. They said everything was good and quickly went over the terms of the arrangement before hanging up. I get a call today saying they never received my new card number and my extension was never approved. They then tell me I now have to pay earlier or my car gets shut off. I make a big deal about their incompetency and the person gets on the phone with an attitude and tells me its my last extension and hangs up on me without saying goodbye. This is the second time in two years Ive had a situation like this arise with Pronto. Its ridiculous and incompetent!

Hello pronto finance. Just to let you know, people are using stolen credit cards to pay off their loans. My fiancee had $700 stolen from her credit card, that was used at your office. I know money is money but not when it is someone elses. Maybe you should check the the card provider license before excepting. This was a huge blow right before Christmas.

Thought I had car problems. Took it to a mechanic to get a jump start. They checked everything and was told everything was fine with the car. Went to touch base with pronto to find out that they shut off my engine for a balance that was lesser than what my monthly payment, I paid off the balance and they supposedly reinstated or enabled the GPS on my car but its been 4 days now and my car that doesnt start. I cant get any direct answers on how to fix the problem or to send someone to fix it.

I dont even know where to start, this is the worst service ive ever received from a finance company they lie all the time, whatever they need to do to get the next payment. Constantly screw you over with a $80 fee if you dont have insurance even if you arent driving the car at the time (the $80 doesnt insure you either) its base level employees lying and saying they are the managers when I ask to speak to the manager. I asked for the owners or a corporate email address to address this poor service and I was denied of the info. These employees with a exception of 1 or 2 have the communication skills of a 3rd grader. If you know whats good for you, you would not do any business with them. This is a warning! The insurance service is terrible. They are very slow! My mom called 1-2 months ago and this Jair only asked her for the card to charge her for the renewal, he put her on hold for more than 20 minutes and didnt explain ANYTHING!! 1-2 weeks ago my mother called to change the address and the manager, Mrs. Maldonado, answered her. For an address change it took more than 20 minutes and the woman still tells my mother that she is the manager of the agency. I mean, if thats how the manager is slow, now I understand why her agents are that slow. And it was heard that the woman was asking for help to make the change of direction. You are a manager and you dont know what you do? ...we end up better off insuring our cars with another agency.

I have had a bad experience because they made senseless surcharges on my first payment with them and I did everything they asked me to avoid any surcharge but apparently they are looking for silly mistakes to charge you more money, be careful and verify your payments on time carefully and then they call you saying that something was not right and they charge you stupid surcharges. And verify that the payment has been withdrawn from your account in a timely manner because they say that everything is fine and then they say that the bank was the one that made the mistake, not them, and that is why they seek to charge you more even if you have enough balance to make the payments. And to make matters worse, they are rude and without professionalism, they dont help you, they just want to charge you more money without meaning.

I called to ask what is my payoff balance and they kept telling me the price of my principle balance. If I m trying to pay off 2 months ahead I shouldn t be paying for interest for those 2 months. Also when I called I kept getting transferred and the lady hung up like she didn t understand my question. Very unprofessional, she could ve ask someone for help if she didn t know how to look for that. I ll never go to these people again! They don t value good clients and they are disrespectful!I ve over paid them for the financing of my vehicle and they thought I wasn t aware of it and they kept lieing like I was a payment behind they also didn t document all my payments. Very unprofessional the customer service phone line ppl for the company is negligent in answering calls and the warranty that I had for my vehicle never covered it! They was supposed to cover any engine and transmission issues with my vehicle it never did. Service engine symbol has appeared on my vehicle a month after I brought the vehicle they never sent anyone out to check the issue. I have spent more out of my pocket then what the vehicle is worth. I will never recommend anyone to Pronto. Inconsiderate and very unprofessional once I realize that I have completely paid the car off they continue to ask for money never sent my title and unfortunately after 3 1/2 years of paying a note the motor is no good! Not to mention they reprocessed my vehicle after I paid them 13,000 and although I don t have the vehicle the continue to harass me for more payments. The year vehicle I had was 2009 the car was only worth 8000 after trying to get a minimum hardship payment plan through them they still turned me down! Heartless

Quite frankly, if I could give zero stars, I would. I have been with pronto for 4 years and I am finally on my last payment. When I say I am overjoyed to be through with them soon, I am OVERJOYED. This company has been such a NIGHTMARE to have been financed with. Everyone is extremely rude when you speak to them, and they constantly send threatening text messages about repossession when we re only a day or two late. We have currently moved to a one income household, and I am a full time student with my husband being the only one working full time supporting the household. They are not compassionate or understanding of any situation. We recently lost a family member, and weren t the least bit of concerned with our situation, only concern voiced was when we were to make our payment to remove said repo. We always pay regardless, but it wouldn t hurt to show some compassion or at least pretend to care about real life situations. They are absolutely money hungry, rude thieves with no understanding of human emotions or how to handle a sensitive situation. By far the WORST finance company I have ever been graced with. No one there has been the least bit of helpful, all are extremely rude and they have NO IDEA how to read each other s notes in the system. One rep will call about payment and note the account only to have another rep threaten repo on us. Absolutely disgusting attitudes, personas and individuals working there. My mother has a loan out with this business and was trying to make her monthly payment. Due to her having to renew her annual insurance they didn t have this months information sent out for Novembers insurance. which means with their rule of 80$ fee of No insurance was going into her monthly payment regardless of it just being some papers showing proof of having insurance. She let the representative know and she ll make the rest of the payment of the No Insurance this weekend if insurance papers don t get sent out in time. Instead of working with us she chooses to try and set up an auto pay just asking Friday or Saturday to take payment my mother kept insisting that she will call to check first if information was delivered or not. The lady HUFFED & stated I will be calling you everyday until that payment is made since you have no insurance and hangs up. Did not tell us if she processed the monthly car payment. Did not tell us if she understood that we ll be calling back by end of the week to check if insurance info got received. She chose to get upset because it wasn t going her way and hung up. She isnt the only one with an attitude in this place. It never fails that one of the young ladies always chooses to have an attitude with someone due to peoples situations. I highly consider you taking your money elsewhere because these people are not it.

I ve been with them a little bit over two years. I recently lost my job due to a burn out . I ve never missed a payment or re arranged a payment nothing I have receipts. This month was the first time I wasn t able to pay my car note or insurance. With the insurance I had to let go because I couldn t afford to be paying on a car that s broke down that had been broke down for the last 2-3 months but I m still making payments I told them that I couldn t afford the expensive to get it fixed they keep telling me that I still have to pay the $80 ( extra on top of my car note) for every month I go without. Which I m not understanding because I m not physically driving the vehicle it has been in my yard and if they go back and look at the tracker on my car which I ve been tell the lady to do she would see that my car hasn t moved in months. Majority of them that you speak with their rude and always talking over you and they are no type of help not even to their loyal customers. I m new to all this finance stuff but I can tell you one thing once I pay this company back I will NEVER do business with them again ever and I will never recommend a friend or family member.

Worst company I have ever worked with. Very rude and threatening. Harassing all the time even when you are a day or 2 late. You have to explain your situation to about 10 different people. Trying to get a manager to talk to is like pulling teeth. I told them I would only respond through email so I would have the proof on how they treat their clients. One of their representatives flat out told me I was a liar and that I wouldnt pay them. They do not care about anyone. They dont understand that emergencies happen. I would never recommend getting a loan through them. They dont even use the correct name when they email me. Just shows how much they really pay attention.

If you can avoid this company do it at all costs. There is really no way to put it other than no one knows how to do their job properly. Its all about passing the blame and being as lazy as possible instead of knowing what to do and doing it. After weeks of misinformation and incompetence on their part I have finally had enough. Dont believe anything they tell you. Every single action they make is aimed at somehow swindling you out of more money. The Managers especially. They find ways to make sure your gap insurance doesnt get paid and you end up owing them more and more money. Their reps can lie for weeks and at the end of it your stick with the bill either way. If it was not for the representative Karina I would give it a zero. I ve had my car for about 2 yrs or so and before this representative I would rate it a 1 or zero The representative Karina knows her job and how to be compassionate while doing it. I ve talked to several people at the finance company all they ever want is the car payment and that s it. I ve asked for assistance with different topics while owning my car and they have made my experience the worst ever. I hated calling or even having to interact with anyone else they are rude and poorly trained. Their customer service lacks empathy or even concern to the actual needs of the customer. However I ve recently been contacted by Karina and she has been working along with me to not only get my car payment but also assist me with the other issues I ve had since working with this finance company. She explained everything in detail took her time even made a follow up which they have never done before. I explained my current situation and she made me feel like she cared and actually assisted me as an empath maybe the best customer service to date.

If i could give zero i would. I was late not even 25 days and car shut off. Told them to come get it due to not working cause of covid get called several times a day and threatened about what will happen if they take it. What do they want Ive told them several times dont have the money. They still have Not gotten the car and still call to tell me they r getting it and the repercussions of what will happen when they do. Not to mention got the warranty on it and it broke down they wouldnt pay for it so had to pay more than what my car payment was. Now out of all that money and no car or help from them. Will not recommend them or place i bought it from to anyone. So sad with the way the world is and not even 1 mtg at the time I was behind and they have no common decency to help someone out. I wish I would have read previous reviews before using this company for a loan. They are completely rude and unprofessional and I cant wait to pay them off and never have to deal with them again. I had an emergency surgery followed by 6 weeks off of work followed by Covid and was told my payments would be deferred until they started harassing me a month later asking me when Im going to make payments. I would like to share my experience with the manager from Pronto Finance. As a company that is responsible for managing your vehicle loans and ensuring you have valid vehicle insurance, I would like to say Daisy Martinez has extremely helped me in many ways. During this pandemic I had experienced a sickness which caused me to be late a few months on payments as well as default me on my auto insurance. Daisy was so helpful and understanding, in many ways words cannot explain. When I first got my vehicle I had many issues and to this day, I just had some issues recently this week which cause my cause to not start, However that was not the fault of the bank. I can say that I recommend this company for many reasons, beyond their professionalism. But also their charisma and case by case focus. I have never been a person that has to be late on bills but due to this pandemic, it has caused a stress, and they have been more than enough flexible. Something I would have not expected coming from a private bank. Horrible finance company, I would not recommend! Can t wait until I pay this loan off so I can never have anything to do with them again. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Communication is horrible within the company. I asked the manager if it was ok if I could make a late payment without it affecting my credit due to Covid-19 and of course they told me what I wanted to hear. I complied with their rules and a month later they hit my credit and when I called up to see if it was a mistake they told me it was nothing they could do about it. Financed a car with them and therefore had to use their warranty. Within a week of having my vehicle the engine messed up, the warranty REFUSED to pay for ANYTHING including a rental. It has now been over a month and I have been without a vehicle and a rental. I didn t even get to make my first payment before the vehicle needed a new engine. Pronto says they can LEND me the money or I can pay out of pocket for a new engine OR a repo on my credit for a vehicle I didn t own for two months. They do NOT want to work with me to cancel the contract. They don t even want to pay for it themselves, they d LEND me the money when THEIR warranty refused to pay for anything. Leaving me without a vehicle for going on two months. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!! It was my first vehicle on credit and now I have a repo since I cannot drive it!!!!

I have not had a bad experience with Pronto Finance. I do not know much about the company, but I m assuming they specialize in subprime lending...hence the high interest rates that people are complaining about. I have no complaints about the interest rate because I know that my credit was bad when I got the loan. My only complaint is that they make you have your insurance deductible set at $500 (it was $1,000 with my last finance company). Pay your loan on time and don t miss any payments and you won t have any problems I guess.

Be Warned! They are very very shady! Reading all the other reviews, now I am understanding whats happening. I am having insurance problem with them now that I am almost paid off. They said they cannot get a hold of me and send me letters and calls. Yeah sure, I have spoken with them in multiple occasions but NEVER anyone said about the insurance until later last year. I think they do it on purpose so their insurance partner gets their share of the loot too. I asked for the supposedly letter that they sent me still no reply. Texts and Voicemails they do in Spanish inspite of how many times I told them that I dont speak Spanish. So when I call back I presume they are talking about my payments. Now I owe $650 more for their insurance partner. Nice job! Need to be in the news so people can be aware of whats going on. Very disappointing.

WORST Finance place ever!!! They call you constantly even when your payment isn t even due yet, they call you days before. If your late making a payment they threaten to repo your car. We will be done paying for our car in December and my husband broke his hand and was out of work for a few weeks. We fell behind on our payment and informed them of what was going on. We even sent them a picture of his broken hand and something showing he didn t get paid. We informed them that he was now back at work and we would be able to make a payment when he got paid in 6 days. They would not work with us and said we needed to make a payment by 5:30 pm or else they would repo our car. We told them we were able to borrow money from a family member, but they couldn t give it to us for 2 days. They said no it has to be that day. I begged them to give us just 2 more days that the car was our daughters only form of transportation to school. They were unwilling to work with us. Horrible-Horrible company!! I called to process a payment for my husband s account and I specifically told them not to save any of my information on the system that my husband would go ahead and process it himself with his account not mine like always!! Poor Customer Service nothing compare to Santander. Consumer USA. You missed a payment due to them selling your personal information. Also getting account hacked from their system. And having to go through the ordeal of having an account frozen . They threatened to reposes a vehicle. Lack of respect and professionalism. The lack of access to the account via online is also poor. I had finance one of my vehicles with Santander and their service and easy access to my account via online was so pleasant. Working with Pronoto Finance was pretty smooth. I do wish they had a better online payment system. I had to pay over the phone or send my payment in the mail to avoid fees.
