Fantastic jewelry repair service! The owner Tony and his son David run an honest family business. Tony did a great job fixing and resizing my wife's engagement ring after it got bent out of shape. The pricing was very reasonable but what was really impressive was the quick turnaround. They estimated it would take a week (in time for our anniversary) but actually got it done the same day. How's that for service! Thank you very much!

Stopped in 30 minutes before close. We were asked before entry, why we were there. Ok...i understand safety is important. We said we wanted to look at cameras, my husband is a photographer. We were buzzed in and made to feel like we could ONLY look at the one camera in the store. I, on the other hand, was there to look at the jewelry and the bikes. When i walked over to the display case, the staff was putting the jewelry away. I was quickly shoo-ed away. There was no pause in stopping, no kind words to ask what i was interested in, no customer service at all. I work as a retail manager and would never treat people the way were treated. We walked out confused, insulted and thinking our money wasnt wanted. Ill never return.

This is absolutely the Best place to sell any of your jewelry you don t use anymore or just want to upgrade as they give the best deals around! Ive started emptying my closets, and realized I could potentially sell some things here. For the first time, I sold some unused jewelry. The second time, I sold additional jewelry as well as a camera. Overall, I found the experience very pleasant and satisfying. The staff I encountered were always friendly and informative of their prices. If I find more things to get rid of with the instilled powers of Marie Kondo, Id consider stopping by again. Their prices are competitive when compared to other similar establishments. PS - You can go to sleep now. Thanks for your assistance during my visits.

This the best pawn Shop I every been to. They give me exactly what I ask for anytime I come in to pawn something such as my necklace, laptop,etc... not to mention they give u plenty of time to pick up ur thing. Are you kidding me? These people must be getting paid to post good reviews!! Ive sent 4 emails for a quote and havent received any type of correspondence at all. People try to get an idea about certain items before they come all the way to the shop just to be turned away. You could at least be decent enough to respond. But I guess thats reserved for particular customers!!! Bad business!!! Even dogs bark back at each other!!! WOW!!!!

I went there to treat myself by buying vintage silver rings and bracelets. Im shopping so Im looking around. The owners wife I think, Blanca pops up talking too much and too loud. Pushing stuff in my face and strongly suggesting this and that. Im an adult and left that place after being duped into putting $400 for four pieces on lay-away. Even an over priced birtstone ring she had me order out of a book, that didnt look the same when I came for pick up. I ask for Blanca and the guy rudely goes, Blanca doesnt work here! Pawn shop dealers and used car dealers are in that same slimy catagory. I stop in there from time to time but will never buy again. They always set up shop in underprivileged areas.

These guys rock! Not only do they a workable interest rate- theyre both knowledgeable, & super sympathetic! After i foolishly took my mothers antique ring n2 CASH AMERICA- the kid put a solution on it removing the white gold! I was crushed! I ruined the only think i had left of my mom! I took the ring back 2 Howard where they agreed 2 replate Cash Americas mistake! Plus.... These guys are super cool. I really had to take the time out to show appreciation for excellent service. This is the most customer friendly place I have been to in chicago . The quality and price to value is owsome. I love personalized rare pieces and when I came to this store I was glorified at all the beautiful pieces. The service was exceptional. I have never had a good experience with Pawn Shops nd my general overview has always been negative...until I went to Howard Jewelry and Loan. The staff are always courteous and Richard has proved time and time again that his value system and integrity are intact and he always goes above and beyond to help customers. This pawn shop has extensive knowledge of goods and is the only place that offered a fair and reasonable amount when I took items there. As far as I am concerned Chicago only has one pawn brokerage company and thats Howard Jewelry and Loan and I will continue to use them and refer my friends to them.

Had to bring in my guitar and guitar processor for pawn and these guys helped me out. Clean store, and my gear was well taken care of when i returned for it. Havent been to any other pawn shops in Chicago but these guys are worth your travel, no complaints.

Excellent kind and caring people. I purchased items from them - one at $300 and the other at $700. These items two years later appraised at 4600 and 6700 respectively. Well my 25th year anniversary came up and I needed a special gift for my wife. Thank God I walked into Howard Jewelry and Loans. At first I thought pawn shops are just for pawning items, but was I pleasantly surprised. The selection of earrings, necklaces rings and bracelets and other precious stones is astronomical. And best of all the price that you just cant beat. My wife loved her beautiful Emerald platinum Earrings. All thanks to Howard Jewelry and Loans.

They are wonderful to work with! Their prices are fair and they have the best quality merchandise. Their jewelry selection is beautiful and they always have a huge selection of new products. The store is organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. I have shopped around and trust me, they are the best to deal with! Very highly recommended.

Howard jewelry and loan is a great place to be at, whether youre selling or buying items. You will always feel at ease with Richard and his staffs friendly attitude. I had a wonderful experience at his store and will definitely come back for more.

Howard Jewelry & Loan is truly one of a kind. They are very friendly, down to earth, and great to do business with. They have by far the largest selection of merchandise I have ever seen. A clean and very organized store. There prices are excellent. But most importantly I find them to be very honest and a place where I can trust the people who work there. I have been looking for a place to sell all my unwanted items for awhile now. I have to say I have found that place. Great pricing great customer service, friendly staff. A+ all the way around.

This is a great place to sell your unwanted items for TOP dollar. I have yet to come across a shop that has better deals. A must check out shop if you are looking to sell some items. A+ would recommend!

Impossible jerk who deals in stolen goods. Admitted to taking stolen devices and wont return them. Avoid this jerk at all costs!

I wish I could give it ZERO stars..... You spent your hard earned money, not pawn on items, take it back to be serviced, the owner, Richard want damages your item, then promise to make it right, forget about it, and basically says screw you when you him to make good on HIS promise........ That s not the way to conduct business, and we have spent thousands there and all you get is a slap in the face. I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER DIME OF MY MONEY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
