This place rocks!! It’s clean, tons of products if you are looking to buy; all of the cases lit up beautifully and fabulous jewelry & watches to choose from - the staff is what makes this place! They were all super friendly, professional, attentive & polite. I was very happy with the price they offered me for my item and I will definitely be back. I had gone to a Buffalo Grove pawn & jewelry (completely different company) before I came across Arlington and it was awful!! Filthy inside, only one worker and all of the products were garbage. We chose this place because of the great reviews. Called about pawning a TV and was told they take them. Drove 45 mins just to be told if the TV is older than 1-2yrs old they can’t take it. Could've gone somewhere else if they had communicated properly when we called.

So be warned, they don’t take TVs older than 1-2yrs old. Or at least that’s what they told us. Maybe we were the wrong color/race. Your experience may vary.

Cool people and honest place. Came in with some freebie items in hopes of riches. Came out a bit more educated on coins and metals. Employee who looked over my items was fun and in no rush. Fair pricing on the items I gave up. We even had a laugh or two Highly recommend

Arlington Jewelry & Pawn is awesome. I had some jewelry and misc. gold I wanted to sell. The first place I stopped at offered me $400. I took out three items that I thought I might be able to get more for somewhere else and they gave me $200. I then went to a jeweler who gave me $300 for one of the three items. Luckily I was able to go back to the initial shop and get my gold back for $200. Today, I went to Arlington Jewelry & Pawn and they gave me $460. $260 more!! They are definitely honest and fair and I highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience at Arlington Jewelry and Pawn yesterday. Based on all of the wonderful reviews we are so glad we decided to bring our long accumulated odds and ends of silver to sell to them. Some of what we brought in wasn t silver and Ryan was very helpful in telling us about the pieces we had.We felt their offer for our pieces was very good! We enjoyed our time there and will be bringing other items to him in the future. The store is easy to find and had a lot of parking. My husband and I recently moved to the area and ran into unforeseen circumstances and we were very fortunate to have went to Arlington Jewelry and Pawn!! from the moment we walked in their store they made us feel very welcome! The Owners are the nicest people and are extremely trustworthy! They take pride in their store and they are second to none with their amazing customer service ! You can t train that! It comes from within !!! We did and will continue to highly recommend my family and friends as well as the people who may be reading this review! My husband and I went to them 2 times within a few week period because of their great honest service! Even when calling them on the phone they go above and beyond for us. I know they do the same for all of their customers!! Their store is spotless and they have a really nice variety of merchandise ! They have special sales always going on as well ! It s not always people walk into a shop and feel really comfortable my husband and I want to personally thank them for everything they have done for us and let them know how much we really appreciate their kindness and outstanding customer service! My husband and I used to get top quality experiences when Kelly was working long before his son was born. After his son grew up and I guess now manages it. I will never go back. I was quoted a price. Another worker anxious to seal the deal in buying my object. I wanted to consult my husband. Then life stepped in, I had to have eye surgery, so I wasnt able to go back for a month. When I did, I was again told my price was still good by the woman working.(she was friendly) Then owners son looking mean, not friendly, no greeting, no eye contact. Said he didnt want it, not worth the money I was first quoted OR the same price qoted 1 minute ago by his female worker. When I mentioned several times that I was told that the condtion the value was $40.00 and it was greetly wanted.. by that man- pointing to another worker who was busy at the counter with another customer! (That was ignored) Owners son - finally looked at me with a who cares look, like I disturbed him, said Then you should have sold it when you came first time. I dont want it. No value! My impression of his sour mean look was shock! Customers should not be treated like that. No greeting, no eye contact...then go against what 2 employees promised me and then tell me talk bluntly with out emotion except disdainful. Shame on you son! I remember when you were born. We shared in the proud dad moments of your life, we gave you your first golf set.....to see you turn out completely opposite of your friendly, kind, wonderful and informative father. Shame.

So, I can honestly say the employees at Arlington jewelry and loan are very professional and welcoming. I have been there mlm any time and purchased a few guitars. All of them have been at great prices and in excellent condition. They truly care about there customer and they are like not other pawn shop in the area. All my experiences in dealing we ish them have been pleasant and have always walked away happy. I would highly recommend Arlington Jewelry and Loan over any other place 100 times over. To me though what sets them apart is not when you re shopping because everybody is happy, is when you have a bill to pay and you need cash now. They are fair and they treat you with dignity, sure they are a business for profit but I ve never been looked down on and have been able to work with them if I need a couple of xtra days. In a world when some of us don t have the best credit and you have assets this will always be my go to place for a short term loan, and if I need something special for my wife or one of my kids need a laptop because they crashed thier last one, I know I ll find quality at Arlington.

The manager Andy is always a pleasure and a gentleman to deal with. I ve always felt like I was treated with respect and given an honest deal. The store is always immaculate as are the items for sale. Great staff great store!! Highly recommended!!

I have done business with Arlington Pawn for over ten years The staff here are Genuine and extremely understanding. These people are not with the Mission Statement of taking ownership of your items. I am happy to report that great customer service is alive & kickin at this place. I cant say enough how great the peeps at this shop are. Ive dealt with this shop on several occasions & each experience was better than the last. Unlike so many other pawn shops, these guys will work with you. They have a good amount of stock with decent prices. The stock itself semms like quality merchandise. If/when you do visit them, check out the awesome R2-D2 cookie jar they have behind the counter, its so darn cool.

I went there to buy computer asking price $470 including taxes bad customer service when I went in the shop I feel they do not want any customer to come inside after inspect the computer I see dent and some scratch on right corner I offer $320 plus tax sale person didnt even talk right away he pull the computer and told me no have a good day I was shocked I dont know what I did wrong i came out from the shop i thought i offer low i called and asked him did you want to take $375 plus tax he said you need to look on amazon dont drive to places and offer them low i told him why are you getting mad it was just an offer you tell me what is your lowest maybe we will work out something he said you insulted to offer $375 plus tax then he hang up. Please dont go there they insult you.

This beautiful, modern pawn shop is a far cry from the pawn stores of yesteryear ... you know, the seedy ones imagined in film noir movies. Even a few stores that exist today rock this dirty, dark, and cluttered vibe. Im thinking specifically of a store I went to in San Franciscos Tenderloin District and one in Chicagos South Loop. Arlington Jewelry and Loan is the polar opposite of this vibe - bright, contemporary, organized, and inviting. Its kind of like going into a jewelry store without the high-pressure sales pitch. Although Ive never bought anything here, Ive sold gold and some antiques on 4-5 different occasions during the last 2 years. While Ive never met the mystery owner - Melissa, Andy, and Matt are very personable. They offer fair prices on gold and test everything in front of you. Bonus points for the bowl of little candies on the counter! Ive considered trying another high-rated neighborhood pawn shop ... but why bother when this is the best in the NW burbs!

Great selection of inventory. Whether you need tools, watches, jewelery, or beer signs this is the place to go. Selection changes so I frequent their shop once a week. You never know what youll find. Plus, great loans on pawn service. Great people too!

Went there because they had a high rating. Don t get me wrong the place is clean and organized, but the manager is not so nice. Don t appreciate a business of this type that isn t willing to work with you. Especially with customer service skills and being truthful. Won t ever stop in again.

Andy, Matt, and Melissa are great. Ive been doing business with them for about 5 years. Interestingly enough before meeting them I did business with an associate of theirs in Highland, IN. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Arlington Jewelry and Loan a solid 10. Cant say enough positive things about them. Make Arlington Jewelry and Loan your first choice when either looking for a loan or looking to purchase quality, gently used merchandise.

This place is great. I shopped around to get the best price for some of my old jewelry, and by far, i got the best price from these guys. Couldnt be happier.
