Capital Auto Loan

Everything has been really easy with Capital auto loan. The beginning interest rate for someone with poor to Fair Credit like mine was very acceptable more than fair. They have a guaranteed refinance program after 12 on Time payments.. hold them up Samantha sent the proper forms over email and text. 24 hours after I filled them out I had a new interest rate and a new loan amount. I'm not even going to shop around for financing on another car, I'm just going to call Capital Auto Loan and see if I'm pre-approved.

I’ve been with Capital Auto for a few years now and they have always been the best. I love my account manager and the other reps are always so kind.. even when I’ve been a challenging customer at times (sorry). They have saved my butt on more than one occasion and I’ll be surprised if I find another company that will do the same.

SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND STRESS AND GO TO A CREDIT UNION OR OUTRIGHT BUY A MARKETPLACE BEATER YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF I PROMISE. They just want your money and do not care about your customer experience. Horrible company with the people who work there to match their mentality of praying on the lower class. Tellers love giving unnecessary attitude. Been with them for over a year at a 30% interest rate and they will only refinance as low as 25% when they're website says 20% and even told me lower like 15 over the phone until i went to actually do it and then it's miraculously 25. Likes to not disclose when adding Hidden fees. Very frustrating and unnecessary phone system. Sketchy people with sketchy service and insanely dehumanizing interest rates it should be illegal. DO NOT FINANCE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. TERRIBLE PLACE NOT GOOD PEOPLE. VERY RUDE AND UNWILLING TO WORK WITH YOU. Wish I could give less than 1 star. I purchased a vehicle using Capital Auto for financing. The car was totaled. After my car insurance paid and the gap insurance paid, between the 2 insurances it should have been paid in full, I still received a huge bill. It wasn't until my attorney was brought up that they "reviewed my file" and decided to only charge me $153 the amount of the difference between what my insurance company actually paid and what they would have paid if I didn't keep the car. When I tried to make the final payment the free automated service was asking for a larger amount so I called to speak to a supervisor who told me they could help me with the payment for a $5 fee. The audacity of them trying to charge me to make my final payments when it's their system that was not correct. This company is a complete joke and a highly recommended never doing business with them.

After making payments on a vehicle that Capitol Auto Loan financed for almost 3.5 years, I figured I should only owe a bit more than 3,000, I called & was told I still owe over 6,000 & now the car isn't running either. When I leased this vehicle from Daily Driven Motors I was told verbally & signed a written contact stating that due to my lack of credit I would have to pay an APR of 29.99 % for a year & after that it would drop to 15%. Having no car sucks & owing over 6,000 on a vehicle that's going to cost over 2,000 to repair & is actually only worth $1,775 you can imagine I was stressed, so I did some digging, Capitol Auto Loan NEVER lowered my APR down to 15%, that's right nearly 30% of my $336 car payment, which mind you is more than $100 a month, has been stolen from me! Now if you consider I've made these payments since January 3, 2021 & should've only paid that amount in interest for a year, they have been taking advantage of me, stealing from me, & I believe discriminating against me as a female with bad credit who they ASSumed likely would not notice. Since January 3, 2022, today it is May 2, 2024 over $100 a month at least, for 2 years & 3 months, again that's over $100 of my car payment that I paid every month on time in confidence religiously for 27 months, that's $2,700 that's been robbed from my pocketbook. Capitol Auto Loan I am seeking legal counsil, in addition to going as public as I can with this, & from some of your other reviews, I'm willing to bet $2,700 is just the beginning! Best of luck!

DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THIS PLACE. I was going through hardship in life my ex girlfriend wrecked my car i was telling them what was going on and they would randomly put in the system that i promised a payment i didnt even promise, After a couple of unpromised payments they repoed my car while it was in the toe yard. They then went out of there way to sue me and garnish my wages as well before i was even able to process my insurance claim. So now i am having to work on an insurance claim while im getting garnished and they are just a very corrupt company. How could you go out of your way to sue somebody and garnish their wages when you are a millionaire if not billionaire and the person has just enough money to get by to live. crazy the world we live in today as ive had friends and family that got repoed and got their credit shot down but not sued and garnished from thats just pure evilness. Just wanted to let everyone know that this is not the place to loan from, They act like they help people with a low credit but they are just wanting to take advantage of you. - (Its not the fact i got repoed, More of the fact yall went out of your way to garnish my wages and sue me while lying about promised payments i never made and didnt even help me out with a payment plan.)

Theyre a garbage company. You might as well fall for the scams sent to your email, because thats all this company is. Ill stop as many people as possible from going through them. Please dont listen to their ability to help you. They cant. Youll end up worse off with these guys. I only owed a little less than 2 grand on a 8 grand car ( that blue booked at 2.5 grand). I gave my car back because I had lost my job. I let Ty know and he said we would figure something out. They repoed my car. Six months later Im being sued and theyre suing me for over 6 grand. I only owed about 2. So this company deserves to be shut down. They are predators on the lower class. Protect yourself and do not get sucked into their lies. You will regret using this company.

Would rate five stars as my experience with them. But they recently added a five dollar debit card processing fee for monthly payments that wasnt there before. Honestly disgusting that every-way you can pay online now has five dollar processing fee.

Horrible company. Our vehicle we financed through a dealership that capital auto loan has a contract with was totally unsafe and almost killed me and my 6 children on the road when our whole breaks and pads completely fell off! We were told that the vehicle went through inspection before purchase but then were informed they didn t inspect it they just hurried and sold it to us and lied about it. We begged capital auto loan to help us and find us a reputable dealership they work with to transfer our loan to a safe vehicle and they wouldn t. We begged and called for them to come pick it up and we paid it still even when car was sitting unsafe. All we wanted was a safe family vehicle now my kids are so terrified since we almost wrecked in traffic with our brakes falling off. This was such a traumatic experience and capital auto loan had zero empathy for us and our family. Please if you love your family don t do business with them. We have reached out many times trying to get in touch with the owner and zero response. We would like to talk to owner but no one seems to care picture is one of ours pads that fell off our car while driving we couldn t find the other on the road. This is few weeks after purchase

According to my calculations they have adding charges and have not been honest about the alocation of each payment. I thought i had paid off my loan now they are saying i owe 500 plus dollars! Why?! I made on time payments for nearly 4 years. And i went back and did the calculations myself and it looks like they actually owe me money! This is so wrong. They make sure the app keeps you in the dark also. You have to get a pen and paper out to figure this out. Nearly all the months have different amounts coming off the principle. It was shown taken off my credit report also like it was paid off. Im not happy. I will reverse my review and end my campaign if this is fixed because it was easy to make your payments they dont bother you every month with reminders. I accidently paid 2 times and i was refunded everyone has been kind. I got a little screwed when i was going to refinance but all in all until the finale they were good. To top it all off I have not even been able to drive this car for a year or more because it through a rod so i was making 2 car payments for a while. Paying on a car that does not even work is no fun. I feel betrayed. Please fix the billing error and i will retract my review and my smear campaign i was a wonderful customer! But i really feel burned bad here

I had gotten a 2003 Ford Taurus for 500 down on the full price of 1500. First time driving it to work and it breaks down. This thing has broken down on me multiple times and has actually costed me good jobs. I have told these guys about it and Ive even had them tow it back to my home. I finally got tired of messing with the car so I called and volunteered it back. Now theyre trying to sue me for almost the full price of the car. Do not get a loan through these guys because theyll do everything they can to get your money

Capital auto has helped me get my first loan WITHOUT a co-signer! I have always had to have a co-signer because of my bad decisions when I was younger not understanding credit and getting myself into a lot of debt. But Capital Auto gave me my chance and I couldn t be happier with everything they have done for me and how easy the process was to refinance after the year of on-time payments! WOW WOW WOW I spoke to the most amazing representative I ve ever spoken to in my life, her name was Daphne she was so phenomenal I hung up and immediately reached out to the company to commend her work. I received an email back from the big dog (owner of company) and he thanked me and said he would personally thank her and give her amazing kuddos! I absolutely adore this company for how amazing everyone seems. I am so happy to have a loan here, and I m so happy the owner took the time to really appreciate this amazing women. Possibly the worst place to get a loan through. They have lied to me twice about my loan and because there are no notes on my account from calls I now have to pay for their actions of not doing their job. after speaking to the manager he was very rude to me, even laughed at me and said that its not their problem.

Capital was able to offer me a car loan when I was rebuilding my credit. After a year of on time payments they refinanced for me at a better rate with ease, just as advertised. Everything went according to plan and they were accomadating during the pprocess.

Worst customer service always changing things on your account and wanting you to do all the work for them and adding automotive insurance to your account when you already have insurance without sending notification about it until when you think your loan is paid off they will finally tell you about it and wont give you your title. I will be Reporting them to the attorney generals office and will also be taking them to small claims court. As to your response Nate I did have coverage on my vehicle the whole time its not my fault your company employees are incompetent to do there jobs. And as to your emails it never specified what the charges were and i had spoken to so many Different reps and also did a loan modification back in November 2022 and was never notified or was it mentioned that there was so called actual additional charges untill my loan contract was fulfilled and shows paid off so now this company is refusing to give me my title to my vehicle this company is a rip off. My attorney will be contacting you soon as to the process has been started....

Absolutely horrible customer service. I paid off my car a week and a half ago, Ive been calling in to get the status of when I will get my title, and Angel, the person I talked to today, was extremely rude, told me its not going to change from one day to the next and to be patient. Every time I call in its a different story and if Im calling to see if the title has been sent or not it will change from one day to the next once its been sent out. Ive explained the need to have my title asap and I feel like they are holding it hostage. They are quick to take my money but the second you ask them to give you what is rightfully yours their attitude changes and they become extremely rude and act like you are putting them out. Just give me my title so I can be done with you guys!!

I am very grateful for the opportunity to have obtained my car in part thanks to you, however I must say that the telephone service in English and Spanish is terrible. Carlos, Fernando, Miguel and others in English whose names I do not remember not only did not satisfy my concerns, but many times they hung up on the call, sometimes it seemed that they did not handle the required information, in addition that many times there was too much background noise which made it difficult the communication.

Stay away from this company. They have been reporting false information to the credit bureau . They will tack on fees not in the contract and screw you every way they can to get a penny. My wife got a car financed through them and had it for about 6 months. She had went through a hardship and had to do a voluntary surrender on the vehicle. THEY PICKED UP the vehicle yet never reported voluntary surrender to credit bureaus or took the value of the car off the loan. Will be preparing a lawsuit against them

Capitol Auto loan had two goals both of which they fail miserably. They say they help you build your credit. They wrote a loan for my daughter for a car that books at $4000 for$8000 and change. I asked the guy who wrote the loan how he justified that loan and he said the car lot sent him something telling him it was worth that much. What?!??!!! Capitol Auto loan does not research the value of the vehicle they are sitting a loan on but instead take the word of a crooked car salesman???? I dont believe it, capitol auto loan is a crooked loan company that you should stay as far away from as possible. Your better off riding a skateboard in the snow than getting a loan through these crooks. Heed my warning or they will stick it to you. Bring some Vaseline because they wont offer you any on the way to the cleaners!!!!

I have had the best experience with capital auto, Starting out with no real credit they were able to help me get a vehicle, I ve been with them for some time now and was looking to get a auto loan for a privet party sale and what do you know they went above and beyond to help me not only get the loan I needed but to refinance my original loan getting a better interest rate. On top of that I just so happened to be the first for that type of loan at that company which in its self is daunting to think about but I must give a shining shout out to SAMANTHA she is absolutely AMAZING the way she handled everything so seamlessly stayed in contact the whole time and was available to help me with any questions or concerns I had she made the whole interaction effortless she is worth her weight in gold and deserves a raise!! Capital auto is the BEST highly recommend!!!

Capital Auto Loan is a great company. They help people out with little to no credit to get them on their feet with a vehicle. The only reason people are leaving bad reviews is because they are making them pay their bill, which they signed a contract for. Never had an issue with anyone there, great group of people!

Capital Auto loan has been amazing for a first time car loan. They have been super willing to work with me and they just recently helped me refinance to not only lower my interest rate but to also condense down the length of my loan. 100% wouldn t recommend this company to anyone. It s been 2 years and my loan is still at 5,000 something. It s beyond frustrating. On top of that they charge so many hidden late fees. If you pay your payment early apparently there s now late fees. So just pay on the day it s due. If you try and catch up on payments due to covid good luck because you ll just continually be charged late fees no matter how much you try.

Have never had a problem with them. Ive started out having poor credit (with A repossession) and they worked with me. Just refinanced one of my vehicles and my interest was cut in half! Would recommend them to anyone that wants to build/rebuild their credit. Dont be scared off by others that have bad choices or have had terrible timing in buying a vehicle! If you make your payments, they take care of you!

I had nothing but positive remarks to say about this lender until recently when i discovered they re reported my old loan that i had with them that was paid off in 2/2020 and inserted 12 missed payments and dropped my fico score below 600 which caused a credit card approval to be rescinded. Avoid this place like the plague

Worst place to do business. Been waiting over 3 months to deal with a car being totaled out. Not only have a called them constantly they are always saying theyll take care of it call back a few days later they have no idea I called or what it was I called about. It even took them over a month just to actual put the car was totalled ouy after countless phone calls.

Samantha and the crew at Capitol Auto Loan have made my car buying experience a positive one! After finding a car I loved and thinking Id never qualify they got me financed and after a year of on time payments I was eligible to refinance at a credit rate of almost half what my original rate was thus saving me about $1600!! This company sucks, at customer service! They pray on people, who has less, credit! They do not have other options to pay your fees, or any kind of problem solving. I won t ever ever agree to this company, and give yourself a favor stay away from them!

This company is terrible. I have a long list of the terrible customer service they have given. At first they seemed great and then when i started having issues with the vehicle I received a loan for they told me i could only have it fixed at the dealership I got the car at. Long story short the dealership said they fixed the car but when I got it back some of my stuff was missing and there was vandalism inside the car. the wrong parts were also installed on the car. the shocks would rub against my tires and the car would not go over 35mph. I immediately called capital auto and they basically said it wasnt their problem and that i need to take it back to that dealership again. I took the car back 4 times but every time it just got worse than before. I gave the car up and they said to call the lady that was in charge of repossessions and set up a way to stay paying them back the rest of what I owed. I had call so many times over 4 months but they always said that she wasnt in and now they are trying to sue me without even giving me the chance to pay what I owed. if I could rate lower than 1 star I would. I highly recommend avoiding anything to with this business. They need to work on everything and be a proper loan agency.

So this is a weird review because I am someone who had a car repoed and I still want to give the company 5 stars. I went through a rough patch in my life and I lost my job and therefore my car. I still owed money on the balance and I was contractually obligated to pay them back even after I no longer had the car in my possession. This is a company that has bent over backwards to make payment plans that fit my life, which has allowed me to start to restore my credit and get back on my feet. Communication is key here. As long you talk to them, they will work with you. It is there flexibility and their choice to treat me like a human and not just money that has allowed me to overcome the train wreck that was my life between 2018-2020.

I was one of the first loans this company wrote. There are better financial institutions with better options that care about the customer. Do not use this company !!!!!!!UPDATE I did fall on hard times and defaulted on my loan. The office manager told me that I was one of the first loans the company wrote and they recouped all money owed and the owner still wanted more money I made payments for 2+ years not having the vehicle then wrote them a check to settle the owners want. They never reported my payments and say that the account is derogatory. From the manager I was told sorry but the boss says.Do not use this company 30 days late repossess and haunted forever. UPDATE2 I Talked with Ty just the other day and apparently he reads his data differently than his employees because he still says that I owe money even after account is settled and I was told that the account should have been zeroed out after the sale of the vehicle by his office manager. This company prays on people who have less than perfect credit

Please stay tuned! The owner and us have talked and they seem to want to work this all out. If nothing else I do appreciate him actually talking and helping us understand better... I will be deleting the bad review if things actually continue in the right direction. Thank you. ......This place is full of it. Got a loan for 5400. Three years later we still owe over 5000. If I ever start a company I will have all my friends rate me really good as well. Whatever you do dont go to this place. I cant believe places like this are still in business. I will never suggest them to anyone. Save your money and your mind. This is my opinion and the opinion of my wife.

Great customer service. Easy to work with. Gave me options and helped me build my credit. Every time I paid more than my minimum payment it went straight to my cars principle which helped me pay my loan off in under a year.

I have had my loan with this company for over 2 years now, and only called twice. Each time Ive talked to them on the phone I get different info about my loan and the gentleman I talked to the last time was very rude. Will look elsewhere when I buy a new car down the road
