Ok, we were relocating from Indiana to Georgia. I have had mortgages and had them explained to me in the past, but this was by far the most comprehensive explanation I have ever had in regards to a mortgage and mortgage rates. Including how all the inputs effect what your total closing cost are and your end rate. John was absolutely brilliant with his videos. Cheryl, John and Justin were wonderful when we employed them to help us with a loan for a second home. The closing process was a little bumpy and it felt like they were confident they had it handled, but I am a Nervous Nellie, which led to some anxiety. Some parts of the communication that should have happened were not handled in a way that made me feel confident. Being that this was the first loan process I went through based solely on my income and credit, there were some moments that I was very frustrated. Luckily it all worked out in the end. My advice would be maybe to have someone go through the process as a test case to see where the breakdown happens. No one should have to feel like they aren t sure if their loan is going to close. Communication is definitely key!

Recently I had my second and last transaction with FM. I use the word transaction intentionally as that s the way I felt. At closing, there was a mistake in the paperwork. Long story short, the only way they could help fix their error is in a couple of years when rates go down, FM can help us refinance . Another transaction that they profit from. It got worse from there.

We were able to send in requested information electronically via a secure website. The closing was done quickly using a hybrid system involving electronic signature and a quick in office visit to complete the paperwork. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. I have done refis before, but this was by far the best experience. Scott and his staff were extremely efficient and knowledgeable. My rate and closing costs were far less than other quotes I had received. The best part was Scotts method of sending a video to explain the proposal. Scott also very helpful at reviewing different options so that I could decide on the best term and rate for me. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. He has literally been working with me for over a year as I worked on my credit. Even after i called him hundreds of times he never once lost his positive attitude or drive to get me into my house. Everyone at the leader one team did such an amazing job making the hardest part of the homebuying process the easiest part! Never once did we feel stressed or overwhelmed like We had expected to feel since we were first time home buyers who had never been through this process before. They lay everything out so you can understand exactly where your Closing cost money is going. We worked with John Becker for our loan. He is incredibly knowledgeable with loan products, credit, and the overall process to get us the best loan to fit our needs and the best loan to save us the most money and rate. He worked all hours and helped us get approval letter in time sensitives dealings with realtors and sellers. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive to all of our questions. He clearly explained the process, set clear expectations, and worked tirelessly to help us close the best deal on our loan. I would recommend him 1 million percent!! I spoke with John Becker today in regards to a bridge loan and unfortunately it isnt available in their portfolio of products until next year. Opposed to apologizing and hanging up he worked with me to identify who might be able to help even though no renumeration was involved. I will certainly reach out to John in the future for any business within his wheelhouse.

We were introduced to Scott from our Realtor, and from the beginning we could not have been more impressed with his willingness to get this deal done! While my husband and I both had great credit, we had other challenges, but Scott remained steadfast and made it work. Never have I had a lender send personalized videos to explain cost breakdowns, rates, etc! He even reviewed the full closing disclosure via video. The level of communication from the Team was remarkable. Anytime family or friends are look to buy or refi we send them to Scott. We have done both and Family Mortgage always provides flawlessly. The entire team is great at responding and giving necessary information to successfully close. When we initially bought our home, Family Mortgage was able to get us through underwriting and close within a couple weeks. This is something 3 other lenders could not even come close to completing for us. My Wife and I joke that we would never leave GA because of FMT.

Scott and his team (Jeremy, Wendy, Michele) are simply the best. This is our second time working with them (we did the first mortgage in our condo and now refinanced) and highly recommend them. They are responsive, extremely knowledgeable and offer very good rates. Scott and his team took a complex deal and made it appear routine. Since the new regulations went into effect not all companies and organizations have closed deals under them. The Family Mortgage team held the hand of the title company and was very specific and diligent about what needed to be done and how things were to be worded. I think they did more than they communicated but my closing occurred on-time with no issues and in a different state. Thank you once again Scott and Team!

This was my fourth home purchase. The LeaderOne team was fantastic to work with - the best company yet. They helped me out when no one else would even touch my case. My experience with LeaderOne was fantastic! Everyone was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls and familiar with the details of my case. Scott Evans in particular spent time to gain a clear understanding of my goals and crafted options to meet those goals. I particularly liked the manner in which documents and more complicated information was discussed through audio recordings. It allowed me to listen to the audio recordings at my own pace and rewind and go back if I was confused. The recording was particularly nice because I would go back later in the day or another day to listen to it again rather than try to make sense of notes I scribbled over a phone conference. Overall, I had a great experience with LeaderOne and will definitely be referring friends, family and clients to them!

Quick and easy execution on my refinance. Scotts informative video walk-thrus were very helpful. I was able to get my information to The Family Mortgage team quickly and they took it from there while I went on vacation. I showed up at closing once I was returned and everything was done.
