Without Amanda and Al's hard work, I can safely say I wouldn't have closed on my property. This was my first time buying a home and everything went great! Being a first time home buyer, at least for me, I was super nervous and anxious at the beginning of the process. Tim and the team answered all my questions with promptness and enthusiasm, and helped me feel more at ease. A lot of times, because I like to talk, we drifted off to other topics and had great conversation! Though all business was done over the phone and digitally, I now consider them my friends. Just to add a cherry to the cake and I am still excited about it, I proposed to my girl friend in the front yard after closing (closed on time!). Update 2023- The Moreira team has done it again! When we decided to sell our home I had no doubt that the next lender that would help us get our dream home was going to be this company again. The first time I talked with Tim, we didnt even have solid plans to move to the area yet. Tim Endress is a top notch professional! I work with several people in the mortgage business. The difference I see with Tim is a level of service that is head and shoulders above others because he OWNS the experience that his clients have from start to finish. Despite having a team to help with part of the loan process, he follows up and double checks requirements are being met so the rate and closing date will not change. Nobody likes surprises so you can avoid them with working with Tim! I found Moreira Team through Google reviews, so its only fair that I leave a note about my experience with them. I filled out their online mortgage form and sent a follow-up email for additional questions. I was contacted by Tim Endress, who was my contact for the duration of my engagement. Tim was so sincere about helping ME. I spoke with him several times on the phone, each time he was immensely helpful in reviewing my financials through when I signed my contract on the house I picked out. Tim even offered to review the contact for me, to make sure that things looked good. Even though I had informed Tim that I would probably be going with a different lender whom my realtor had experience with, Tim didnt pressure me to go with him (comparable rates). Instead, he worked with his management team and BEAT the rate I was offered by a mile and made the deal sweeter with no discount. His rate saved about a hundred dollars per month and thousands at closing. Once I decided to go with Tim, he made the process extremely simple, highlighting his wealth of experience and ensured that I was able to close in less than 30 days. During the closing process, I had some unique circumstances where I needed to pass on Power of Attorney to someone else as I wouldnt be able to be there physically at closing-- Tim facilitated that also without any headaches for me. All in all, I am extremely thankful to have worked with Tim and his team for my first home. Ill be plugging them on any opportunity I get with friends and family.

I had never purchased a home before, and I had no idea what to expect. I googled best mortgage brokers in Atlanta and the Moirera team was at the top. I scanned some reviews and I noticed they were still open (it was almost 8pm). I called, and the receptionist was really friendly. Tim Endress (mortgage broker) text me that night and we set up a call the following day. In less than 48 hours, I had my pre-approval letter! Tim worked amazingly fast to get me locked into the best rate. He was extremely quick to respond/answer calls/texts/emails. He steered me in the right direction for everything and helped to calm my pre-purchase jitters. He even helped me find an insurance company and that recommendation saved me more than $1100 than the closest competitor. Taylor was my processor and she was great also. She is very meticulous and detail oriented, so I wouldnt hit any snags before close. With having never been through this process before, I was surprised at how painless it could be and I was only mad at myself for putting it off for so long. If you are a first time home buyer (especially) request Tim. Hes amazing and patient and will walk you through the process. I dont usually write reviews, but I had to express my sincere gratitude to Tim, Sherri, and Melissa at the Moreira Team. I am a first-time homebuyer, and I closed on my home yesterday. I took months shopping lenders looking for the best rates. What I found out over time is that most lenders do not stick with potential clients unless it is a guaranteed deal for them. My mortgage processor, Taylor was absolutely incredible. Taylor was extremely knowledgeable about my VA loan and made the process immensely easier than my previous loans. Im so grateful to report that I am feeling spoiled and mighty fine because my experience has been so fluid and easy. Our experience was as newly married first-time homebuyers. We started the process in the early stage of the pandemic and my wife and I were worried that banks/lenders would start to really tighten up and/or outright restrict lending only to the most highly qualified (which we fell a bit short of being). The market was booming then with homes in our area flying off the market within 24-48 hours. So it was important that we gained a pre-approval quickly. We originally went with a broker who was a friend of my wifes dad (I had never met him before). I will never do that again! He was completely unresponsive and never asked us what we were seeking in terms of price range or payment etc. He literally kept trying to get us into an FHA product, which our financial profile would not support due to our combined student loan debt. In short, it was a HORRIBLE experience that dragged on for 3 weeks as we missed out on home after home and we ONLY stuck with the incompetence due to respecting her Dads relationship despite it not serving us any good whatsoever. The last straw came when the PERFECT house for us came on the market...and I mean PERFECT. I called the broker and he didnt respond via phone but emailed me later to tell me after 3 weeks of telling us hell make it work that he COULDNT make it work due to our student loans. WE TOLD HIM IN THE FIRST WEEK WE COULDNT DO FHA DUE TO OUR LOANS. We wanted to seek conventional which can be more flexible with loan payment and IBR acceptance. He completely wasted our time. Add to that he stated our income wouldnt support a 500K-600K home. Ummm...we were NOT looking for anywhere near that much...we were looking for a 180k mortgage and he would have known that had he even bothered to ask that basic question. My wife literally cried when the house went under contract and she wanted to give up. Our loyalty to her dads friend was done. So on a Friday when I was literally headed out of the office, I decided to quickly research local broker s and Al and the Moreira team where the highest rated with many reviews. Im always skeptical when it comes to the possibility of review/feedback manipulation etc. but I went ahead and filled out the preapproval online. I kid you not, Al called me within minutes of filling out the application requesting a few more of my tax forms and in the 20 minute drive it took me to get home he called me to tell me we were preapproved for the $180k at a highly competitive rate! My wife cried again but tears of joy this time! We began looking for homes but we quickly realized the market was booming way more than expected and that the 180k range was not netting us the homes we desired. So on three separate occasions did we go to Al and request a pre-approval increase, one at 225k, another at 250k and then finally at 290k. He got us preapproved at EACH stage in less than 30 minutes. And he CALLED each time...and when I couldnt answer he quickly relayed the information via email for my convenience. It was truly unbelievable communication and service. So much so that you realize you forget what truly great customer service looks and feels like. Believe it or not we actually did not close with Al and his team ONLY because we found a new construction home and their incentives for using their in-house lender were over the top. But otherwise we would have absolutely closed with Al! The kicker is Alvaro STILL continued to call and email us literally weekly for updates and to remain open to helping us. We appreciated that the most, frankly because he and his team were REALLY interested in not only gaining our business but helping us make our first big purchase. We WILL be using his services again in the future and I have referred him and his team to everyone I know that are looking to buy a home. They are the best by far!

After six months of frustration trying to refinance with our current lender we thought we where out of options. I contacted Nelson Garcia at Mortgage Right and he reassured us he would do everything he could to help us out. After sharing necessary information Nelson and the team went to work for us. I just finished a re-fi with Tim Endress and the Moreira Team. I think this is the 4th re-fi Ive done in life, and it was by far the smoothest. Tim patiently answered all of my 6,000 questions and was very responsive to everything. He gave me a few options I had not thought about that turned out to be just what I needed. I think from start to finish the whole process was maybe five weeks. The whole team flows well together and their communication is fantastic. During the down time, when paperwork was being processed, he and his team checked in regularly to let me know what was happening and where things were. The mortgage market is crazy right now and the team is really busy. I was worried something was going to go wrong because they are juggling a lot of customers. I had a bad experience with another mortgage company and Im now one of those neurotic people who actually reads through the paperwork before signing. I didnt find a single error! My fears were never realized and everything went off without a hitch. I would absolutely use Tim and the Moreira Team again and will definitely be sending all of my friends their way. Top notch team--hands down. I couldnt be happier with my decision to finally respond to a VA Rate Reduction Loan flyer I received in the mail. Given the historically low rates currently being offered, I decided to explore options. I spoke with six different agencies, a couple of which are highly rated on mainstream sites. The Moreira Team, then an unknown entity to me, was the second of the six with whom Id spoken. The moment I ended my phone call with Al, I told my wife I was comfortable going with them right away. Id done a bit of research before making calls, but played the ignorant consumer. Al knew what he was talking about, and he was honest. My wife and I decided it was best to explore further. Moreira s team is the best!! My refinance went so smooth and easy. I had previously tried to refinance the month prior but the person I was working with wasn t returning any of my calls and wouldn t communicate with me. I was going to give up on the whole thing. I have probably refinanced five times in the last twenty years. The previous four companies did a commendable job, no complaints. That being said, Al Moreira and his team, are without a doubt head and shoulders above the rest. I really didnt have that many questions, but if I did, I was surprised when the President, Al Moreira, answered the phone. Every question I had, Al had an answer for it. Unlike other companies where you typically receive a response of Ill have to get back to you. Never once did I receive that response, and this is coming from the President of the company....unheard of. Whether your speaking/corresponding with either Amanda Bailey, or Kristin Turner, the service remains the same. I dont care if its your first home purchase, or a refinance, I will never do business with anyone but the Moreira Team!

The Moreira Team was excellent from start to finish. I reached out to Tim Endress back in July to get the process for an out of state move started. He made everything so much less stressful and kept me updated throughout the whole process. He was prompt and courteous with any questions I had. The best loan officer Ive had by far and this was our third home purchase. Kristen and Amanda were super helpful with all the little details along the way and answered my endless emails immediately. After reading all the amazing reviews of the Moreira Team, I decided to start the pre-approval process. We went through Moreira and another local company. Once we found the house, we decided to look at both companies and see where we could get a better rate. The Moreira Team came in with a .5% lower interest rate and saved us quite a bit off our monthly payment!! The entire staff has made this process smooth and stress-free. While we hope we found our forever home, if that changes in the future, the Moreira Team will be the only company we call.

Al and his team were phenomenal to work with! I called and was approved within minutes. Al worked to get me the best rate for my home loan and then the process began. I was connected with two team members who helped me with documentation, securing insurance, and getting ready for closing. As a first time homeowner, I have heard horror stories about this process, but I only have good news to share. I think I was ready to close in about 20 days. This was my first time buying a house and I was very nervous. I am excited to say Timothy and his team at Moreira was a great help in taking that anxiety away. When I needed help with anything along the way, Timothy and his team were ready to jump in to assist. I called the Moreira Team while I lived in Mississippi making the transition to Georgia and was helped by Timothy Endress the same day. We completed the necessary information to get my preapproval with a single call and by the following week, I put an offer in on a property. All the forms I signed were easy to understand and the few things I had questions about he helped with immediately. The closing was smooth and easy, a lot less stressful than I thought. I had the pleasure of working with Alvaro Moreira on a loan for my new home purchase. He is truly amazing. Ive bought homes in the past and have never had such an incredible experience. Al treats you like a friend. He is attentive, knowledgeable and always there to answer any questions you have throughout the process. He is truly unique and one of a kind in the business world where this is becoming more and more rare. He was able to get my deal done when others could not and this is undoubtedly due to his vast knowledge and expertise in his industry. Years back, I sold a home and the town where I sold it never updated the records properly to show me as no longer the owner and it created problems getting financed. Alvaro saved my dream home while others told me they wouldnt be able to get me financed. Al went up, above and beyond to get my deal done where others told me it wouldnt be possible and I will never forget him for that, plus he got me an amazing rate that was much lower than what anyone else had offered. His team is so nice and are such amazing people as well. You feel like you are dealing with family to get your loan completed. Truly an awesome experience. I am truly excited to write this review as I had the smoothest process with my loan application all the way to my closing. I spoke with Nelson one evening, the following morning he sent over my loan application, by the end of that same day I received my pre-approval letter and was able to start setting up house viewings with my realtor. Whats even more amazing is that in the middle of me house hunting, I emailed back Nelson and asked for 10 K more and the next day he got that back over to me. The entire Moreira team were all so helpful, the responses were always quick with my very many questions. I would recommend them to any and everyone. I found Moreira Team through the great Yelp reviews, and the reviews were accurate. It took a year for me to find a house, but once I did, they made the buying process incredibly easy. Throughout the process, I understood what I needed to do next and the timing. My closing process was pretty fast (two weeks), and they made it happen with my realtor. I also was referred to my very patient realtor through Al, and Im very happy I took his recommendation.

During our house hunting we got in touch with 3 lenders and were very unhappy with their customer service skill and turnaround time. We found Moreira Team in internet and got in touch with them right away. We had great experience from the beginning until the end. They always responded our emails very fast and made the whole process very easy and clear to us. The interest rate they offered us was also lower than we got from other lenders. This was my first time using a mortgage broker and I was not disappointed. Special thanks to Alvaro, Mia, Amanda, Kristin, and anyone else working behind the scenes to make it all happen so painlessly. I got a great rate (better than offered by my current mortgage lender and a couple others) and the process was perfectly streamlined. I loved that I was able to communicate via text for a lot of the process because it can be tough to find 10-20 minutes during the work day to sit down and chat. I closed within weeks of first inquiring and could not recommend the Moreira team more.
