The location on Cobb Pkwy is much better. I wish i didn’t move from that area.
The ATMs on briarcliff are never fully functional. I drive twenty minutes here just for one of the three ATMs to not be working. The second one doesn’t even accept deposits. And the third ATM is hit or miss if it’ll accept the deposit or cancel the transaction entirely and return your cash.
And this is ALL THE TIMES the issues with their ATMs. Please fix it.

I was here Oct 2nd 10:58 am. And it was a line of 8 and when I came in it was 3 tellers. Then one left and went walking around the store. It was extra people that worked at the store just doing nothing. So we was left with 2 tellers. Then they decided to go down to one. People was waiting in line so long that they left. Then they had the audacity to go down to one person. With a line of 10. This is unacceptable and crazy. Now I see why they have 3.4 stars. People are coming in and after waiting 15 mins asking have you been in line long. Then I ask why they went down to one teller and she said the other one went on lunch during a time when 10 people is in line and the other had a meeting is crazy. Not acceptable

The location is never staffed. Employees will take their lunch breaks at the worst time, and will leave in the middle of helping you. The teller windows are also never staffed. I would recommend going to the Snellville location for better customer service.

Only has an outside ATM which is definitely safe. What a dumb idea. Has 5 teller windows usually operated 1 or 2 slow moving tellers. I only come here because it s close to my job. I try not to come here because I know I m in for an unnecessary long wait. The banker manager needs to jump in and get the lines down or start hiring!

I went to the location to do a pledge loan. Lady entered information in as a personal loan to get a credit card and all they took my 1000 dollars only gave me 500 back immediately. I had to wait a whole week for remaining 500. Then another rep. That I spoke with on the phone filed a claim when I was only calling for an inquiry. Money was put back in my account. I informed the rep to take it back because I wasnt filing a claim. Now until this very day my account is messed up and the Representatives do not listen at all. They keep messing up people money.

This is by far a color driven company I had a secure card for 2 year never late never a balance never over. Never I mean never upgraded Wednesday I will be closing this account to move to a company that cares about their customers growth.

Navy Fed advertises that you can receive your paychecks one day early. I have yet to experience this feature. Heres why, you have to call them. Check your app to see if theres a pending scheduled transaction and then and only then can they release it. If Im doing all the leg work. Whats the point? All this has to happen on a Thursday to get funds that are supposed to be automatically deposited early . Navy Fed can not get you your money as advertised until you do all the leg work mentioned above. TIME TO GO BACK TO CHIME! Where checks come two days early with direct deposit. AUTOMATICALLY REALLY NAVY FEDERAL!!!! All this technology and you guys cant get people checks to Them as advertised. Smgdh!!!

I love this bank! Great customer service. Until, I had to file for bankruptcy because I had over $100,000 in medical bills. I was with NF for a few years. I applied for a home with NF, received an approval letter. I was then emailed another letter that I was denied. I called to question what happened. I was told because I filed bankruptcy on them I wasn t able to receive any credit. I was also told by the President that if the bankruptcy was due to a large amount of debt I could be approved. I explained to her that I had over $100,000 in medical debt. I was ignored after that and my account was flagged.

Excessive wait times of OVER 10 mins even with 3 Tellers, one of which was ONLY working the Express Service Area! No other banking institutions have we experienced this lack of timeliness in service! Best place to get a car, boat or home loan. Their rates are 1-3 points lower than anywhere else around. Refinanced newly purchased GLE from Wells Fargo s 7.19% down to 4.79% on same length and credit status; only used the dealer s lender to get $1500 off vehicle price. They re the one and only place I choose when it comes to buying anything on credit.

Literally the worst brach ever. How do you take people s check and not automatically advise the members of the positing time frame Andrea? Why do I only find out when I look at the receipt after you took the check? I haven t cashed a check since the $225 posted same day so educating members should be a part of the experience, especially for micro-transactions like check deposits. This assembly line version of customer service creates a terrible experience for those that went to hell and back for this country. In branch experience has totally gone to hell and I get a knot in my stomach at the thought of needing to go to a branch and interacting with the horrific attitudes of the tellers. Came in today for a service and I am thoroughly impressed. It s my first time at this branch and I came in during the closing rush. I was out within 20 minutes! Jalita and the woman at the front desk (I forgot to ask her name) made everything so easy for me. The check in process was quick and efficient. Also, Jalita broke the service down for me so I could understand the entire process. I really appreciate the professionalism and customer service I witnessed today. Thank you!

Poor customer service. I went inside close to closing time because the ATM wouldnt accept my pin. Admittedly this was my 1st time using the card. The woman at the front desk told me that I would have to go to the teller to reset it. Since there was a line i went to check to see if the pin was written on the navy federal paperwork I had in the car. I came back in less than 45 seconds & the woman from the front desk proceeded to lock the door and i was touching it. She said that i couldnt come in because it was now 5:00. This is the same woman that I previously spoke to, do she knew that I was just inside. I stated that i would be fine just making the deposit. She took my card & cash and left me outside. When someone came out i stepped in while she was in line. She came back to tell me that although i want supposed to come in she could make the deposit & had me escorted outside by the police officer that was there.

Horrible experience long lines and the head banker seemed racist it looked as if she was disgusted to help me. Every time I asked a question it looked like she didnt really want to respond I am very good at picking up on body language. I felt like I was not welcomed into the branch. My family and I has been banking with Navy since early 2000s, and it was very disturbing the way I was treated by the head banker. Everyone else was friendly.

I went to the branch to get a replacement card I was told to have a Seat in the lobby I was sitting there for two hours and other people who came in the branch to get a replacement card got their card and when the lobby was cleared then someone came and asked me did I need assistance and then told me that I needed to go wait in line to speak to a teller when they told me to go have a seat in the lobby very upset and a waste of my Saturday morning

Horrible experience I been in this line for 3 hours I was behind this lady and everyone else went ahead of me when when were calling peoples names to be seen. They skipped over me . I told the person at the teller and they did not care nor apologize. It was no sense of urgency. I got here at 2pm and left at 5pm. I understand that whenever I come to this branch, theres ALWAYS a LONG line. The problem I had was the fact that the teller was confused and lost. She didnt know how to deposit my check and distribute the funds into several different accounts. THIS IS A BIG/MAJOR ISSUE when dealing with peoples funds. Not only did I have to wait in line, but I had to stand there with her not knowing what to do. After awhile, I told her to just give me my check back. I ended up coming back here to speak with a Manager that assisted me. She stated that she would do more training with her.

DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION. They are NOT military friendly and do not have any form of skills when it come to Proffesional Conduct. They are running fraud operations left and right that s leaving bankers with negative balances on statements.After proving to them with government orders and even proving their investigators wrong, the security team treated me like a criminal even when have served this country. They will not help you and the manager of the branch is just as clueless as the victims.

I love NFCU but this particular branch has disappointed me in several instances. I find the work culture to be concerningly unprofessional. It s not comforting to have individuals handling your finances walking around in sneakers and short sleeve shirts. Secondly, was given incorrect information by a representative that s cost me about $350 in late fees from various bills I was told I could pay through an account I later found out was non-transactionable. Def sub-par financial institution performance at this location.

For starters a whole year later and they are still making people wait outside and come in 1 at a time. NO OTHER location does this. Newsflash! Its summer time! Its hot outside! Next the ATMs never work properly. They have 2 ATMs and 1 is either always down or 1 does withdraws and not deposits and vice versa. Whenever you pull into this location there is a line. Jessica was apparently mad/upset that she had to count $1 bills and pre-counted/rolled coins I needed to deposit into my account. Doesn t a machine count singles for you? She wore annoyance on her face with me and was extremely passive aggression when I asked her questions (for clarity) on my cash/coin deposit - And after the encounter was done, she said have a nice day in the driest, most dead tone as she slammed the closed window sign down right in front of me as I gathered my belongings to walk out. I really don t understand why she was upset - Is it because my business requires actually cash deposits? This is a financial institution Definitely did not expect that type of treatment at a Navy Federal branch. I can t figure out if she wanted me to feel demoralized, but she was definitely upset that I was at her window just now. Mike A. was extremely helpful in helping me figure out a problem with my Zelle/NF account. He was friendly, patient and really good at problem solving which are all great characteristics to have when you are working with people all day. Thank you Mike I really appreciated that level of customer service and going over and beyond instead of just turning me over to a customer service rep. I joined Navy Federal a couple months ago and switching soon. No matter what time of day, 7am, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 3am there is a LINE. A LINE TO GET IN THE BANK AND A LINE AT THE ATM. Whew I cant wait 20-30 minutes to withdraw cash especially at 3AM! One ATM is always broken. And then they dont reimburse ATM fees if i go elsewhere to withdraw my money. All this equates to a NO from me. Trying another bank, Personal & Business.

My son is on disability, I am his payee. We had to open a joint account for his checks could go direct deposit. This branch let him open another account and close the joint so he could have access to his money. This was after I explain to them not to and to keep a note on the account. Ive told them multiple times please do not let him opt-in on an overdraft, guess what they did anyway. No longer will receive business from me. The account is closing.

Just came from there, what an awful location (Brookhaven, Atlanta). They must have been understaffed because the line was wrapped around outside of the building in the blazing, direct 96°F temperature. Neither ATM was accepting cash and only one was in working order. For years Ive noted the tense parking situation at this location and today it turned into a parking lot accident that almost fell into chaos and a parking lot brawl. Security stood silently inside the coolness of the window watching, doing nothing. I finally left after 20 minutes of the line not moving because the heat became dangerous to more than one person in the line and it showed no sign of moving. My choices were heat steoke on the side of the building or leave and do my banking elsewhere. For some reason NFCU refuses to open anymore locations to ease the constant insanity at that one.

I don t have a problem with this location but with this bank in general. I am a physician who opened personal and business accounts at this branch hoping to partner with a smaller bank that might be more accessible and supportive than BOA has been. They ve been a huge disappointment. During this COVID pandemic they limited their processing of PPP loans, marked up interest rates for mortgages almost a full percentage point simply to discourage people from applying and its shameful. Their rates as of the date of this review are no where near what they re advertising online. Is there any bank left that is actually in business to serve the community????

This branch location has to be the worst in the world. No one knows how to do their job. So rude. No one greets you when you walk in even though there is a welcome desk right at the door. I ve tired to go into the branch to get things done that literally take 3-5 minutes to complete but instead they have your check in and have a specialist see you. The wait time for the check in is at least 30 minutes minimum. I have never been so upset with this navy federal credit union location. Cora was amazing,helped me to water and getting me to correct teller. Friendly staff and quick to serve. Onnnnnllllyyyy thing is we need another Navy Federal by East Point or South Atlanta... took 34 min to get here and 48mins to get back .. whoaaaaa.... please open a navy federal closerrrrr.... good Lord!!!!

This is the worse Navy Federal Ive been to. First, its close to my house so I came to it on a Saturday to pick up a cashiers check for the closing of my future home. I timed it so I can grab the check then travel from Brookhaven to Kennesaw and not worry about traffic... This turns out to be the only location in Georgia that closes at 1pm unlike the rest that close at 2pm. Rushing to the nearest branch to it, Marietta, I missed my closing because I didnt make it by 2pm. Then on Monday, after getting my closing pushed back, I come in to pick up my cashiers check... No one can seem to find it in the system. Which is odd, because the Kennesaw location, which I wish I were at was able to find a previous cashiers check that I ordered walking into the branch. They really need to get their stuff together at this branch, that I will no longer be going to... Ever! Its pretty sad when I would prefer to go to a branch inside of a Walmart before I go to a stand alone.

You would think based on all of the complaints about their ATMs never working they would do something about it. It is mostly on the weekends when the ATM is full and will no longer accept deposits. This is more than an inconvenience, it is also a risk that you may not be able to pay your bills on time if you are unable to deposit your money. And since there are no other convenient branches you are stuck. Yes they have co-op credit unions that take deposits but if you make a deposit at a co-op branch then your deposit will not be available for 5 business days. Even if it was a cash deposit vs a check. Ridiculous! They need to make banking as accessible to their customers as every other bank seems capable of doing.

Horrible customer service! If I could have given no stars I would have. Sat and waited to see an office rep an hour, only to get left in the office while still handling my issue and rep Nisha left me and went on her lunch break. I asked another rep if they could go get her before knowing she was gone. The rep came back in went straight in her office without telling me anything. And when I asked her if she was able to locate Nisha for me she said oh she is gone to lunch. I looked confused at both reps customer skills as one left me in her office and went to lunch without finishing with me and the other came back and walked past me straight in her office without giving me an update as if I never asked her to find the rep for me. After that I left and will not be going back or referring ppl to be a customer of Navy Federal as I have also had problems with the phone reps at Navy Federal. From my experience this is a horrible company.

I am SO unbelievably sick of coming to this branch to make a deposit and the atm machine saying it cant accept it. It is BEYOND frustrating. It is not like there are a lot of branches in the area or even branches close to one another. Im not the only one who has this experience either. Today makes my 3rd time in a row conversing with another customer while at the machine who has the exact same complaint. It can not be that difficult to devise a plan to allow the machine to accept more money or for someone to empty it on the weekends! My first complaint fell on the ears of a customer care rep. This time I will be sure to complain to corporate office!!

The worst service in Atlanta.. I come in. Give access number. Told to take a seat. 2 hrs pass and the associate approaches unaware of what tf im doing here... After im seen it takes 3 minutes to print the information. I advise everyone to repeatedly bug them about the order of which youre to be seen. If not a 30 minute wait will turn into a 2 hr wait

I would give this branch 0 stars if I could. A couple of weeks ago their atm took my money and completely shut off. A couple of days of me being misinformed by several employees and after me having to go into a branch, I received a voicemail stating that my money was accounted for and was credited back. Lets fast forward to today, where I happened to check my account, and they have deducted my money. So I gave yall money, you credited it to me, and now yall taking my money from me, and stealing. Stating that my claim was denied?! But have no reason nor a right for a denial?!. Notes werent even left on my account for your customer service reps to read back to me. I need my money back ASAP!

I love Navy Federal and I understand NFCU can off better rates because of fewer locations. But at least place more ATMs within the Atlanta Metro area. Why risk death in traffic, wait 30mins in line to hand money transactions. Logistically, services need an upgrade. Love you tho!

This is one of the best options out there for a bank or credit union to go with. I have been with them for a little longer than one year. They have been excellent in every way possible. Everybody is eligible to join this credit union too. It s not just exclusively for the military.

I was able to open my account over the phone with $5 put in a checking account. I applied for a automobile loan over the phone they sent me a check for $25,000 so I could go buy a car. I decided not to buy a car at this time. I have made four phone calls to try and close this account over the phone. They said I must go into a branch to close the account. This not very convenient for me. I cannot believe I was able to open the account get $25,000 mailed to me but yet I cant close the account over the phone and its only a lousy checking account with $5 in it. Its just not rational and doesnt make any sense the only reason they could give me was for security purposes Im like theres only $5 in the account. They said I would start occurring charges for non-use of that account if I dont go into a branch and close it. So obviously they dont want you to close the account or they just want to charge you. I would advise you to take your business somewhere else

The absolute worst brach and service. The teller miscounted my cash deposit then stated she didnt. After talking to the desk clerk about it got a call from the teller a minute later stating she found the extra hundred. This isnt the first time this has happened. I would make sure to count your money on front of the teller before handing it to them. The branch manager went on to say that these mistakes happen and that the teller was new with a very unpleasant tone. Avoid this place of you can, if you cant be careful.

Youve got 1 ATM in the city of Atlanta and its always down. Its absolutely ridiculous. Its getting to the point that it might be time for me to find someone else to bank with. This is unacceptable and unsustainable.

Did not have a good experience with any of the representative I spoke with. Had to wait in line to speak to someone at the counter, then was told that I need to wait in a long line to speak to someone at the desk only to be told to wait in the line again to sign up and speak to someone at in the office. Meanwhile the representatives had some attitude. It would be helpful if you could check the need of your customer first before pushing them off to the next person.
