Michael took the time to explain the whole process and walk me through step by step. He was honest and upfront about how buying points worked and did not try to push me into buying points like other mortgage lenders did, and was still able to provide the best rate. After spending hours on the phone with multiple different lenders, none of them explained the process or provided as much guidance as Michael and his team. Michael is who I first connected with and he was able to work hard to get me a significantly lower rate than the average for the Pensacola area I purchased from. It was a no brainer! Michael was fantastic through the entire process. He has been so helpful in helping me (first time home buyer) throughout the entire process. These guys are quick and get the loan closed in a timely fashion and stand by their word. Tried several times to get an update on the file and my call was never returned after multiple attempts. Loan required an extension and when I called the main office to find out the reasoning for the extension I was met with arrogance and told I needed to Google who I was dealing with when I questioned something that was not discovered earlier in the loan process.

We worked with Michael Tadros from Gateway Capital Mortgage to get a loan for the purchase of our new home. Michael & his team were wonderful to work with from beginning to end! He was quick to send out our pre approval letters as we went through the offer process and was very responsive when ever we had questions. Michael & his loan officer Nicole Bartlett kept everything moving quickly. When we indicated we wanted to pay our funds to the title company early they made sure to get all their numbers to the title company early so we could finalize our closing statement. They also coordinated the loan closing package with the title company so everything was seamless for our closing. Their prices were fair and what we were told up front. Michael kept us informed regarding interest rates & we never had to pay points. There were also no hidden fees. I recommend Michael & Nicole from Gateway Capital Mortgage and I would use them again! The best thing we did was connect with Michael Tadros before we started out home search process so we could get pre approved for our loan, He also referred us to a great realtor so our entire experience from picking our home to closing was wonderful! BUYER BEWARE! One week to close, the loan wasn t structured and key details were VERY misleading. They may respond to say that emails were not answered. But it s hard to trust someone who all of a sudden stops answering calls after months of working together. Please don t entrust you, or your family s wellbeing with Gateway. You may just end up paying WAY MORE, for terms you were told we re locked. I do not feel like they upheld fiduciary responsibilities in the least bit. Very scary to be forced to end business with them a week away from closing and work with a new lender. Almost didn t get the house. Be careful here!

I was a little worried about refinancing, but this turned out to be a really good experience. Michael at Gateway did everything he promised and then some. The expenses and the rate were both actually lower than originally quoted. There is paperwork to fill out, but its only a one time thing compared to saving lots of money every month for many years to come. Well worth the effort with Gateway.

Chris always went out of his way to reach out and keep us informed as to the status of our loan. When we had questions he always got back to us same day and most of the time within the hour. When we first started looking to refinance we looked at many different lenders and none were even close in terms of their response time. In the end we felt most comfortable moving forward with Chris and achieved an extremely low rate which was trending below the current market rates we were seeing online. Weve bought homes and refinanced a couple times over the years and weve honestly never had a loan officer like Chris. We HIGHLY recommend you choose Chris and Gateway. They listened to our concerns, kept us in the loop, offered the ability to float down and provided a fixed rate for over 30 days (which is needed right now due to the high volume of refinancing that is occurring. Ditto, the previous reviews are spot on. Nevene Tadros assessed my moms condo for a reverse mortgage and found she could not get it unless her building was FHA. She offered to come to the buildings board and guide them on how to qualify for FHA, at no cost. Who does that? Really went above and beyond. You simply cannot go wrong with GCM.

This was my first refinance on my own. I looked around for quite some time and found Gateway Capital. They had the lowest rates around. I was concerned because sometimes those advertised rates can be a scam. I inquired and was lucky enough to get an answer back from Chris Rezk. I cant say enough good things about Chris! He is knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, transparent, and patient. He took the time to explain everything to me - several times. He walked me through the process and ALWAYS returned calls or emails immediately. He thoroughly answered every question I had, EVERY time. I never had to worry about anything. This is the second time I have used Gateway Capital Mortgage and both time the experience has been outstanding. Michael Tadros and his team are very direct, honest and trustworthy to do and get done what they commit to. During closing I have even received feedback from closers during my own closing that Gateway Capital has made their job easier by having everything done as it should be. Overall process was very fluid from my first contact with Michael to signing the closing documents in my home. I do believe I secured the best rate available. Michael answered my questions in an understandable way where I felt confident my closing costs were reasonable and fair. In between, Nicole was very prompt and efficient working with my documentation and supplying the lender with needed information in a timely manner. I never got the feeling my file was unattended to at any time during the process. Again, A+ work from top to bottom from the Gateway Capital Mortgage crew. I have already recommended them to a friend. My wife and I are very satisfied!

I am absolutely satisfied with the service Gateway Capital Mortgage has provided me and my husband in the process of getting a loan. I am a real estate agent in Miami, and I help a lots of people getting a property, as a result I also know many mortgage and loan officers in Miami. None of them could give me the lowest interest rate and the lowest fees. I decided to go with a company I knew nothing about, even my title agent (and friend) told me I was crazy on trusting to process my loan with a company I knew nothing about. To my satisfaction it was the best decision I ever made . The service is superb, my loan was done fast, I got the best rate and no hassles. I want all my clients to experience their services. I was comparing brokers to find the lowest mortgage rates, and had the pleasure of coming across Michael Tadros on the cash out refi for my house. At first I was drawn in by how competitive Gateway Capitals rate was, but after speaking to Michael I knew I had found my guy. He is a very knowledgeable man with a deep understanding of how the bond markets work and its effects on interest rates. Thanks to him, we successfully locked in at the lowest rate possible.
