This place is a joke. You cannot call the bank directly. You have to call an 800 number who calls the branch and they don t answer the phone. You cannot make an appointment. And apparently if Felipe is not there the entire branch needs to be locked down because nobody else knows what they are doing. They wouldn t even tell us when he would be back so we would not waste our time again.

Now this is what banking should be!! I walked into Suncoast Credit Union to inquire about a personal loan. I was instantly greeted at the door with friendly faces before I was promptly lead over to the desk of Masa Mochizuki. He is an incredible asset to your company! He was patient and was very transparent about the process. He operated with efficiency and was extremely pleasant. I was in and out and less than an hour with my new loan. Just got back from a 3 week vacation and needed a stimulus check! Lol. She was fantastic and made the process enjoyable and smooth as butter. Follow me for a minute here folks. If Customer Service as a whole was the NBA then Delaney McGuinness would be Michael Jordan! It was my first time in this branch and I was looking to exchange cash for dollar coins or half dollar coins. I am fully aware this is a very annoying request for someone at a bank. However, Member Advocate Delaney made me feel valued and cared for as a member and went above and beyond to get the coins I requested and even without me asking called around to other branches in the area to see if they had them in stock. Throughout the entirety of the experience she was genuinely kind, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Delaney provided not just the best bank customer service interaction I have had in years but the best out of all sectors of business. Sensational!

Just a heads up for anyone who has power of attorney over a relative or friend and they bank with Suncoast. Make sure you get their log in, password and suntel pin number for their online banking while theyre still coherent. My grandmother suffered a massive stroke two weeks ago and cant even remember her birthday and even though Im a signer on her account and have P.O.A., I cant access her online banking . Yes, I can call and get the information that I need, but this is very inconvenient, since I now have to handle my grandmothers finances as well as my own. But Suncoast could care less!

To begin, this review is not reflective of the bank employees at this branch, who are always polite, helpful, and courteous. The reason for the one star rating is due to the lack of tellers and privacy. On numerous occasions Ive had to go inside the branch and make cash withdrawals. Unfortunately the video tellers are limited on the dollar denominations that they can dispense, so that is not a viable option. So then I have to wait for the bank employee managing the front desk. That employee handles all types of transactions and many of them are lengthy, which at one time were not handled by the bank teller. The gentleman in front of me today was at the desk for an extraordinary amount of time discussing his loan, his business, and how to navigate the app. There are two problems with this: 1) it was something that should have been handled in the back and 2) there was no privacy. When he left I knew the name of his business and information about his loan! So, for my cash withdrawal: 1) It took me 25 minutes in the bank and 2) there was no privacy. That is not okay. Everyone else waiting can hear and see everything. They can see and hear the quantities you are withdrawing and if someone is passing by, they can watch the money being counted back to a customer. That transaction should be more private. Everytime I have had to go into the bank, every front desk employee has apologized to customers for the lengthy wait time and repeatedly thanked them for their patience. So they obviously know this new concept of banking is inconvenient and problematic. You need to do better with time and privacy.

I was opening up some Share Certificate accounts at the south St. Pete location, and was having difficulty getting things set up b/c of prior account details. Thats when I had the good fortune of having Suncoast Credit Union Member Advocate Masa swoop in. He was able to figure out what was going to be required for all of the account setups & changes. He then went on to clearly explain & navigate the multiple account setups & changes, even using a visual aide = dry erase board to help me follow along. I cannot thank him enough. Masa to the rescue! I just walked in at around 4:25pm and didn t get the help that I need. I work from 8am-4pm. They shouldn t be angry that customers are coming in 30 minutes before closing. I requested for Tamara, and was told that she was busy. The man sitting closest to the door was very rude to me. Red hair with glasses maybe? I don t know if I ever want to come back here.

Really not consumer-focused. Their website is antiquated, and their processes will never allow you to save money. Avoid.

Currently waiting at this location behind 6 people and only one teller. So far I ve waited 15 mins and there hasn t been any change in the line. Still the same person there with the same teller. Suncoast always reminds me how horrible their branches are and overall experience banking with them. Definitely more worried about getting your money than being a decent credit union. Don t bank here. There are several better credit unions in the area that don t have to have an armed security guard watching over the place

NO WORKING ATM Third Suncoast Ive visited with the ATM down. They even bought the new ones. If you work overnights, dont even bother trying to make a deposit here.
