After 4 years, I paid 2 vehicles off. Even though I was late sooo many times, they worked with me every time. I couldn't have asked for a better financial company to help me out. This place was great gave me a loan when I needed it . I was late sooo many times on my payments but they continued to work with me that was until Hurricane Milton hit our area I missed work because of the storm and my check wasn't enough to pay much of anything so I missed another payment(was already past my year deadline ) I let them know that I got paid on Wednesday I was finally going to pay off the $240 . That wasn't good enough for the" higher ups " they repo'd my car from my job Wednesday morning just hours before my check was deposited. Now I have to come up with almost $800 to get it back!!! Thanks for kicking me when I was down !!!! Real nice. I wish the storm would have dropped a tree on that damn car!

This company actual treats you like a person! As long as you communicate, they do their best to work with you. They worked with me on my loan and agreed to cut my amount in half, and set up a payment plan with me. They really helped me and my family today when we didn’t know how we were going to move forward. I’m beyond grateful for the understanding and compassion that was shown today!

I honestly got the WORST car ever. I bought it from a buy here pay here. He sold my loan over to Consumer financial and that would be the only thing to thank him for. Consumer really helped me so much when it came to getting out of a dangerous car into my new SUV.
They worked with me every step of the way and Rhonda had been an absolute Angel. She is so professional and very friendly. It’s been almost 6 months since I got my new car and a new lender and when I called Rhonda for help she still remembered me and was still willing to help. I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with this company. The owner is very helpful and they are really doing something right having Rhonda on the team.
Thank you for all of your help!!! I’m forever grateful.

This place is awesome! Everyone Ive ever dealt with is so professional. This was the only company that would help me after my husband died and I needed a car. By far, the WORST finance company out there when trying to pay off a vehicle! Never again will I use Consumer Financial Services for financing a vehicle. Horrible communication skills, horrible customer service, horrible attitude, horrible manners.... The list continues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FINANCE COMPANY. So heres the story behind my review: I was selling my 2013 Ford Escape and they made that extraordinarily difficult to do because they dont do pay off letters for the purchasing company to be able to provide the needed funds. Mary-Whatever her name was YELLED.... LITERALLY YELLED at Aaron (We Buy Any Car) who was just simply doing his job and trying to get my account information for the paperwork and sale of my Ford. I am 36wks pregnant and I had to sit and wait for an hour and a half for freaken CFS to give We Buy Any Car my account\loan information. All of the unnecessary chaos that Mary-Whatever was causing ended up causing me to have back spasms and contractions! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!

I was out shopping for my second car and got referred to CFS from a local car shop... boy was I lucky to get hooked up with such a great company! Seriously, they always answer the phone, I dont have to talk to a robot. They answered all my questions. & even helped me boost my credit score. The interest rate was good and I was able to get a second loan through them after I paid off my car. Rhonda was always a pleasure to work with, and Jay too. Trust these guys! They are a locally owned business and are out to HELP PEOPLE not hurt them.

When I was in a rut, and needed help.. when no one else would help me, Consumer Finance was there for me. They got my life on track by trusting me when no one else seemed to care about me needing a car to survive. They gave me friendly reminders every month, and every time I would go into pay or call the pay, there was a friendly voice to help! My credit score has gone up and I couldnt be more thankful for a small family owned business like CFS! You guys rock.

Worst company Ive dealt with. On my 6th loan with them and they just called me and treated me really bad because I paid through Western Union and not through some new system they never told me about. Very unprofessional collections process and antiquated system. I paid every loan I had early. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ROBIN!

I contacted a representative yesterday, he sounded very busy and put out by my inquiry. But he did inform me that they would have to run my credit it would take a couple of hours and what I would need to bring in. today I decided to call to confirm and a young lady answered the phone. I briefly told her of the conversation I had with her coworker yesterday. And she gave completely different instructions then he did. She did this in a way that was condescending and rude . I told her I would go to someone else and I did and immediately got approved. I generally do not leave reviews for businesses due to a single employees shortcomings. However I believe the whole experience was completely uncalled for and very unprofessional. I highly recommend overlooking this financial institution when youre on your search.

Called me to solicit my business, even though I am on the federal do not call list.. Got my number from a national data base They responded 6 months after I filed my review, and asked for my records, and accusing me of confusing them with another company; that alone is offensive. Of course I do not have records any more. I only recall that I took notes and that is what the caller told me.

Rude mannerisms .they do not do well on communication theyre Petty and inconsistent. Having a long-term relationship with them they chose to end on bad terms after a car trade in over $40 with a dealership claiming they did not get a check within a 10-day period on a payoff when indeed it was there sitting on someones desk Im sure. THEY have the RUDEST people working there and apparently the manager doesnt communicate in a proper manner with other dealerships . So glad to be done with them. Talking to me in a rude disability voice was it for me.

Just very unprofessional collection process. With insults, lying, name calling etc. All over them, not communicating properly with clients. They dont even know how to communicate very important updates through email or a text system and decided its my fault I sent my payment to Western Union how Ive done it for years. . I called and was hung up from what it sounded like 3 times. Then I called back with information requested not more than five minutes prior and the manager was a nightmare and had pulled my credit without any prior communication with me. And before that I was probably talking to the receptionist. PURE SHARKS I WOULD NOT RECOMEND!!!!

I m going to redo my review and get into detail of how amazing the people that work in this office are. Our car had broke down a few weeks ago, called them and let them know what was going on so worried we weren t going to afford to get it fixed cause we were talked by a dealership we took it to would cost thousands of dollars. Rhonda was very helpful and told me to take it to the car lot we had purchased our vehicle from. The next day we get a call from them saying they figured out what it was and was just going to cost us a few hundred to get it fixed and of course something like this happening we didn t have that money put back. Well we were able to pay a little to the car lot and they worked with us and tacked the rest onto our car payment which was such a relief and took so much off our shoulders. Was told also if we weren t able to pay that amount just to call cause they didn t want us to stress about it. They have worked with us on this issue and is so helpful and very professional every time we call. Great people to do business with!

My husband and I got a loan out on his truck. The loan is in my name. My husband and I are separated and I called to check and make sure he s still paying MY loan and they tell me they can t give me any info on MY loan that in MY name? How does that work? Then I ask if I could open another loan, she tells me she can t help me without any explanation or even checking if I qualify.

Ive been dealing with CFS, aka E-Z loan for 2yrs now and let me tell you how great theyve been for me AND my family. In hard times, theyve been very understanding and professional. They helped me stay in front of my payments, (no late payments ). They also help me with extra $$$ when I was stuck in a jam for rent. All and all, Ive really appreciated and learned from them to stay ahead of my payments and kept in good standing. They look out for you. God is so good. I made it down here for Morgans band mpa stayed over so I can run some errands before I went back home n my car broke down. Now normally my panic attacks n anxiety n depression would kick in n Id be ready to quit but God has amazing people in my life not just family or close friends. In todays world noone or businesss help u anymore but let me tell u I got my car from consumer finance port richey n my car broke down right down the road from there so I walked up there as I didnt know who could tow it or even to where n every worker in this place are Angels Rhonda essp is top notch. They all go over n beyond what is required in their job. Rhonda got the car towed to a shop for me to hopefully get the issues fixed n made sure I got back to the motel. So yes Im alittle nervous about it but Im not stressing.over it like I normally would. So YES God is great cause no other place will help u get your car back on the road or put u in something else if need be. I really do not know what I would have done today without the help of Rhonda or Consumer Finance!!!! For anyone who is in need of a car or any kind of loan n loves the family/friend atmosphere then I would highly recommend checking out consumer finance in Port Richey Fl....

Did not send Title out for 3 months after loan was paid off and not until I had to call to get it. Did not even bother to send it priority or overnight, simple snail mail. Never came in mail and expected me to go to DMV for a new title. Unprofessional, irresponsible, insulting people employed here. What ever happened to doing what is necessary for the consumer? Avoid this place like the plague.

Consumer Financial Services help me a lot as for my credit goes. Ive gotten at least 6-7 loans from them. 1 auto loan and $500-$1500 personal loans and every time it was super easy. The people there are very helpful and super friendly too! Without a doubt Id be still coming here but with all loans Ive taken, it boosted my credit score and now I got credit cards with excellent rates.... miss all the guys there at Consumer Financial!

Horrible company, complete rip-off, do not use this company unless you absolutely have to they will take your money and they will take your car if you miss payments they are not nice at all. We paid them thousands and thousands of dollars and they took her car away and when I called and tried to talk it out they just refused to give us anything. We paid off the loan two different times and then took a third loan and every time we took a long we had to pay back more than double what we borrowed, so disappointing but we did it anyway cuz we needed the money but they insulted us they injured us they told us they were going to fix the car and we gave him the car to fix it and they kept it. Not happy with this company at all theyre going to say bad things below me hear but dont believe it there just rip offs

So, I bought a 1996 Lexus from the shady but here pay here that these people financed. The car was a complete rip off, the place I had purchased it from closed or they dropped the guy I am not clear what happened. So automatically the payments went straight to this place and so did my Junk car when they had to repo it due to me not making payments. I missed quite a few due to the fact I at the time was a single mother and all my money went to my bills and thousands of dollars fixing the car. Not a excuse ,but I had no choice. When they towed my car I called their office 20 min after and I told them who I was and they man laughed at me and said oh its funny how quick you call now when we were trying to contact you for months as I tell him there is no need to be rude and I just need my 2 sons backpacks and my infant daughters carseat out of the car out, he then tells me your going to have to wait till Monday and hangs up on me. I did call back and after some arguing was able to get the place to go get my stuff. My husband (at the time we were on a break)was furious and decided to report the problems we did have and what happened after on BBB and any review possible, so then they started slandering me in the comments of the reviews and things about my personal life. I call to complain, we ended up talking it out and they convinced us to take the reviews down , saying if we take them down they will make sure I dont have a repo on my record, which dumb me believed. Either way I know my responsibility. Everything was done and over, this was in January 2016......I since then (2 weeks later) had a new car, had for that while year, go to renew my sticker back in March and was told by the DMV that I can not because I have a lean for my wrecked 1996 Lexus.....I explain that I dont own that car it was repossessed from me in January of 2016....had to go to the tow truck place and pay $400 plus to have this lean removed all because this company NEVER TOOK THE CAR OUT OF MY NAME. They repossessed the car, re sold it for parts or sold it to someone and never did the proper paperwork , when I asked this what happened no one knew. They said it was a old case and he would have to dig up the file (which I requested them to do) they gave me a paper that showed they had took the car before the crash in March of 2016 (the person they sold it to wrecked it by a bar at 1 am they were arrested for other things as the car THAT WAS STILL IN MY NAME was towed and my responsibility thanks to this place) I called multiple times and of course no one ever bothered to find out. Soon the phone calls were always a excuse how Rick wasnt in the office or he was in a meeting, all with whats your number he will call back.....and guess what no call back. Soon I gave up, but this place is very unprofessional in my opinion, both times I had a run in with a rude employee and the whole selling a car to someone in someone elses name and not caring to figure out what happened is just crazy, if the people had been in a accident that involved other people or a place (and not a light pole, they crashed into a light pole the police report said, found this out at the same time as everything else from tow truck place) I could have been held responsible or sued by someone, thankfully that wasnt the out come. Shady place If you ask me Find it completely hilarious how almost every response is a nasty response if you don t rate them good and tell your story, or how they say not our customer or not our business. Still same old shady place.

I can not explain just how helpful and on your side Consumer Financial is. I was down and out and no where else to turn, so I called them and explained that I needed some help... They not only helped me financially but when I walked out the door I knew things were looking up... I would recommend them to ANYONE.... Thanks Consumer Financial!

Excellent company to deal with. Financed a car loan for me when my credit wasnt good enough for the bank. Would definitely recommend using them if youre credit is less than perfect

Paid off my truck in March, gave them my new address to send me the title. (In the military now so got stationed in another state) My payment always comes out on the first, but for some reason the very last payment I was charged an extra $9 because the guy who wrote my address and payment details set it for the wrong date . I explained that is in no way my fault, lady said she understood and was sorry . I m like ok I ll pay the $9 if that means I ll be done with these people. It s now almost August and still no title! I ve called twice about this and haven t gotten any answer as to why. I was so glad that I was going to be done with these people but nope! Still dealing with this BS! Hopefully they ll send me my title now.

A Representative from hell. Some guy who works here had threatened to sue me after I had inquired about getting a different car from another dealer and loan company. He refused to give me the remaining balance owed and then, finally, lied to me about the actual amount. He then proceeded to cuss me out. I remembered all of this after I had found your stupid card in the mail with the owl that says you miss me and hope to do more business with your company. I will never get a loan from your company or with any car dealership who associates with you, ever. You people are absolutely horrible. Thank God I dont have anything to do with you anymore.

They sold 2 of my friends broke down cars. 1 paid full cash the car made it 2 miles down the road an blow motor. They refused to fix. The other had the car over night the motor chain broke they refused to fix and messed up their credit. The are not a quailty place for a car sales.

Excellent company. The people there go out of their way to help you. My car broke down and they found a mechanic to fix it for much less than the estimate i recieved. They also paid for it to be fixed and let me make payments evrry month to pay it off. A special thank you to Ronda for going above and beyond to get me back on the road again!

I have been with consumer financial for about 2 years now. Firstly, they were one of the only finance companies willing to work with me for my car loan due to not having any established credit at that time. Since then I have been working with the account manager Drew. Life gets busy and he is always very helpful and understanding when I have to make payment arrangements. Also it is very convenient to be able to make a payment now over the phone with a debit card!

I have been dealing with CFS since November of 2014. They have been such a huge help in our times of need. Not only did they pull us out of a huge hole when needed, they always help us out at Christmas time when things are tight for everyone. My family appreciates their help. Helped me get my first car loan with little money down. It helped me grow and get into a better financial position in my life with this vehicle. The loan is expensive but have always came through for me when I needed money. Besides Jay can be a pain in the butt the company is great. Thank you for your help.

It is complete BS re: them loaning everyone $2500. Basically, they are a front for a PayDay loan company. Go to Amscot instead! It doesnt matter if you have credit 680-700 and make $90k + as they only want to either give you a payday loan or do a title loan (using your car as collateral). I personally DO NOT like companies that waste your time. BE UPFRONT - TELL US IF YOU ARE A TITLE LOAN COMPANY OR PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY and save your employees, business and customers their time and money.

I was a first time buyer and used Consumer Finance. Rhonda the manager was very helpful, and sat down with me personally to explain the loan details to me. This office is perfect for college students, or anyone that is in need of a car. I had no one helping me in college and consumer finance was very understanding with me while having my loan. Im now eligible for credit cards, they helped me every way they could. Thanks CFS !!!!!!!!!!!!
