I refuse to do further business with Viking Capital as their staff is deceitful and manipulative in order to try to push an application through. I had a terrible experience with Ed who first reached out to me before waiting for me to contact him as I was told he would. I was transparent with him about what I wanted and gave my income and credit score. After I had sent everything requested over, he asked for my wifes information stating that he needed a higher credit score. At no point did he tell me that he could not move forward with my score. He only said adding someone with a higher score would help more. My score is rated as good but my wife is rated as perfect. He asked me several times for her information and when I provided it he said he still needed my score to be at a 700. I was at a 694..what a joke. I asked him why he wasted my time doing a pull on my wife if nothing was going to change and his response was that I am one of dozens of applications made per day and that he got mixed up about my information like I was just another number. Your literal job is numbers and applications...what else are they getting mixed up over at Viking???? Scary thought. I am not a number I am a person and I will not be treated like this over a large financial decision especially when my wife and I together are definitely more than qualified. That tells me everything I need to know about Viking Capital. You arent a customer, youre a number and they wont think a second thought about wasting your time.They should be ashamed to market themselves as veteran friendly because my experience was anything but that and Ill definitely be giving a heads up to all of my fellow military brothers. We will be happily be taking our business elsewhere.

I highly recommend Viking Capital because the loan process is fast and easy to understand. Their team updates me the status of the application and the process of releasing the funds to the pool contractor and explaines to me very clearly the start of the monthly payment. I was not lost with Viking Capital. I am so thankful I found them on line. My only regret is that I didn t find them soon enough for I could have the entire pool loan amount from them. Viking is a excellent business entity because of the excellent staff they have.

We decided on building our backyard oasis and after selecting the pool company and selecting our pool with all of the bells and whistles, we asked who did the pool company recommend. They said, Viking Capital. I went to the website from the link on the pool companys website and proceeded with submitting for a loan and got pre-approved on the SAME DAY. I then uploaded a few forms and within days, I got an approval and financed a couple of days after...the process was super easy and the staff at Viking Capital were there every step of the way. We do not recommend Viking Capital. They wasted so much of our time by making mistakes down to them not even getting our address correct on the paperwork. Was then notified our loan was withdrawn with no attempt from David to call and find a solution. There were many solutions and he appeared disinterested to help. Would suggest going somewhere else that will handle your loan appropriately and with more expertise.

I loved my entire process with Viking Capital from start to finish. We were in the market looking to expand on our home and add a pool to the property. We considered the Credit Union but we weren t sold on having to use our Equity in the home, also the rates the credit union offered were nothing like Viking Capital. I was highly recommended to contact Viking Capital for our funding needs and we are so Thankful we did. The turnaround process was extremely fast, faster than I would ve imagined. Less than a week for approval and funding, Mr. Alan and team was very helpful, punctual and direct with everything from the needs, to terms, loan process to also speaking with our pool contractor to set everything up. We started the pre screening loan process on last Friday, I received a call the next following morning and we received our final approval and loan documents today. Praise God.
