Toni is one of the best mortgage brokers that I've ever worked with, she's always attentive to what my lending needs are and make sure that I can get the best deal possible. She worked with us for months trying to figure out how to go from a USDA rural development loan to a FHA loan which had completely different requirements. When the most mortgage brokers don't want to take the time to work with their customers, she always spends that extra time to make sure you're happy.

Getting a home mortgage gets more complex with more and more fees constantly being added which makes it very confusing at times. Fortunately when things did become confusing everything was thoroughly explained so we understood what was going on. Because of this the overall process was actually pretty good in our opinion.

The Florida Mortgage Firm surpassed any expectations I had when it comes to the purchase of a home. Bo, Chloe, and Kelly were outstanding. We started the process with Bo who cares about you as an individual and not as a loan number. He is caring and did everything he could to make the loan work for our circumstances. He went above and beyond. He was always quick to answer my calls and e-mails. I never felt in the dark and always knew where we stood in the process. Then we moved on to work with Chloe who was our loan processor. She was on top of it! We spoke almost daily and she provided detailed information every step of the way. She was pleasant and always made sure I was kept up to date. Then we moved on to Kelly who was our Closing Coordinator. She was prompt, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Kelly was always quick to answer any questions I had. Since this is our first home purchase I do not have anything to compare it to, but everyone I have spoken to was amazed that we were cleared to close in less than a month. The group all in all were 100%the best. Stayed on top of all the paperwork, all the inspections, all of the requirements for us. Stephanie started working with us prior to getting pre-approved. Any questions we had we contacted her and she answered immediately. I had a surgery prior to the day we closed. They met me at the house to sign the papers I did not have to travel all over the city. I would rate them at a 10 any day

The person I worked with will be costing me a great deal of money in interest and significantly higher monthly payments. They first ignored my request to put down more than 20%, because they werent sure I wanted to and decided not to reach out. When I found out they set it up for 20%, I asked about my request to put down significantly more, and was told I could make a large payment on the loan, after the first payment, to lower the monthly rate. Apparently, they didnt know that cant be done on a VA loan. Now they can help me refinance if I wait several months. Now I can spend a fortune on extra interest payments, and I get to stay with significantly higher monthly payments. But hey, at least theyre sorry. **EDIT** I have added a star. The company worked with me to get this resolved. I ended up refinancing early. They paid part of the refinance (points to keep my rate, and I think some other fees), and I paid the other $4,000+.
