I am writing this review for A. Manager Christine Molina. I am so glad that I drove out of my way to this branch. She was outstanding, Courteous, and very very respectful. She went above and beyond for all my needs. I highly recommend this branch and Ms. Molina’s service for all your need.

Christine the Assistant Branch Manager at the Main McCoy branch was absolutely fantastic!! I had an issue of a merchant refund that ended up coming back to a closed account. I spent 3 hours on the phone between 2 calls to the merchant and 1 call to the credit union to no resolution to my issue. I then drove to McCoy and Christine ended up helping me. She made numerous calls and not giving up on me and continuing to dig looking for my limbo funds. They were finally located in the archives of their old system. Christine knows and does her job extremely well!! Thank you so much Christine!!

I have been to several McCoy branches for my banking, loan assistance or questions for better financial planning. The only branch that has been exemplary to my needs and has gone out of their way to help me has been the McCoy Rs branch employees .
I had to go in twice today for a loan, Christine, Ashley, Kimberly, and Ruth all helped me at once to have this set up. ( So appreciative for their knowledge and how quickly this was done. Also Mr. Juan D I believe he was the V.P. also took the time to come out and guide me my thru my questions .
I wish we had more employees as this in other benches.

We came in today to make some adjustments to our account and Christine was able to get all five of us in and out within an hour. She was spot on with everything we had questions on and the adjustments we needed done. It was a lovely experience.

DONT BANK HERE!!
I've banked here for over 25 years, and they used to be great. I've recommended them to lots of people throughout the years, but their service is definitely not what it used to be. They have continued to add charges to their services. I had a credit card with them with autopay, and twice the service did not work properly. I called both times as soon as I was notified, paid immediately, and reset the autopay to continue the service. Both times, they reported it to the credit bureau. I tried to dispute it, informing them of the system error on their behalf. They said it was not their problem, and I was responsible for the payment delays even though it was a failure in their system.
I'm in the process of opening my own business, and they have ruined my credit when I need it most, resulting in high interest charges and having to put more money down for my new business. I informed them of the predicament they are putting me in, and they don't care its not their problem.
I switched to 5/3rd bank and they pay me 5.3% yield on my savings without restrictions. They also don't charge all the fee's. It was costing me money to have my money at Mccoy Federal Credit Union, but now my money is making me more money at 5/3rd. I highly recommend 5/3rd bank they are an awesome bank.

(4/23/24) and met with Hannah. She set up our accounts quickly and with excellent care.

The credit union needs to work on the mobile app. It is extremely complicated and confusing to make a payments. Should not be so hard.

I have been customer for almost 10 yrs never had a problem (except hurricanes) but since 1st of yr 2024 my debit card has never worked. I ve had 3 and currently doesn t work AGAIN my son wants me to switch to another bank. I feel like a loser because it said card doesn t work. I can t do this anymore. This isn t new cards we were suppose to get!!! I ve not received mine! To get a hold of anyone, good luck! Robot is a stupid Robot!!!

VERY unprofessional, terrible customer service. My father passed away, tried for three weeks to contact them, kept being told Ill get a call back, never called back. Finally got ahold of the right department, was told his truck loan owed $8,000 MORE than the paperwork I had, yet they were unwilling to provide proof of this. After being expected to drive over an hour one way to drop off the vehicle during my work hours (took an entire week off to handle affairs, they never bothered to call back), wanted me to pay a repo fee for the vehicle to be picked up when he was current on his payments. Thank you McCoy for making the death of my father even more difficult.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to teller Kieisha at the McCoy road location. Had these 90 savings bonds that I had had for years. Its was a long and tedious process to cash those. Took Kisha almost two hours. Yet the whole time she kept a smile and was never overwhelmed by the mind numbing process What a great attitude. Thanks to her I was able to convert the bonds into a new cd.

I have been a member of McCoy Federal Credit Union for 40 years now. I just would like to say that Maliyah that has been working in the drive thru at the McCoy Road location , is such a great asset to your company. She always greets you with a big smile and friendly hello. She is very efficient and professional. You never have to wait long at all in the drive thru with her. She even writes the transactions that were made, on top of your bank receipts to help you when you have made several transactions. She is definitely a outstanding Employee!!!! I always go thru the drive thru now.

Great if you never need help and don t mind fees. Wait time if you do need help is crazy. And they charge a monthly fee for checking benefits that you don t get unless you sign up for them. Feels dishonest to me. No chance to talk to a supervisor for clarity either.

Unbelievable long queues waiting in the phone to pay my bill, I was #17 and it took me an hour to get to #1 then an extra 10 minutes to stay on #0, how absurd.

If I could give 0 stars I would; I have been with Mccoy for a long time and I will be closing my accounts. every time I call I am transferred all over the place. but this recent incident takes the cake for me. on today I called CC service to figure out why they never issued me a new CC, when the CC was expired back in Oct- 2022.... the lady said because the Card was blocked, however she can issue me a card and it will take 7-10 days for CC I told her i need the card to be rushed because I didnt even know that the card was expired. she then transferred me to member service that can rush the CC . spoke with another rep and she advised that there is a 25 rush fee. I asked to speak with manger, s/w Ruthie then she tells me a completely different story, now she is saying the reason why the card was blocked because i owed $5 so thats why the card was never issued. I didnt agree I told her its a CC not a Debit Card the card was blocked since Oct. so you mean to tell me Ive been owing $5 since 2022??? then she said we will not issue you another CC until the past due of $5 is paid. which Ive never heard of a credit union refusing to send me my CC because now I owe $5, mind you Ive been on the phone for almost an hour with CC service and they never once said they wasnt going to send me my card. Ok I said ok so even if i pay $5 the question is will you waive the 25 rush fee, Ruthie didnt want to waive the rush fee so now I am waiting for Erica(who Ruthie said was in a meeting) more to come..... in my years of being with Mccoy Ive never experienced this with no other banking institution. and the crazy part is I dont everrrrr call MCcoy for anything, but when I do - this is what i go through Credit union is not for the people!!

Stay away, find a different credit union. McCoy has denied me the skip a payment for hurricane Ian because I have only made 2 on time payments. Home completely flooded, everything destroyed, the financial burden is huge. Good ol McCoy wont even let me skip a payment. Shows they really do care about the community and its members. Mine as well go bank at Bank of America - hell they probably would have let me skip a payment. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Good job McCoy!

McCoy took over the Maitland location which was previously Gulf States on July 1st. The main problem is it takes an hour or more to speak with someone when you call. It has a callback feature where you do not lose your place waiting that does not work. You leave a message and they allegedly call you back. I have tried this 3 times and no call back, back to the end of call loop and another 60 to 90 minutes waiting. They initially said that the delays were due to the transfer from Gulf States. 3 weeks later and it is no better. Currently on hold again now for 55 minutes. Hire more people and the problem is solved.

These comments only apply to the acquisition/transition of gulf states cu to mccoy (my checking/savings is/was with gulf states). I have been waiting 2 days for someone fr mccoy to call me back to answer a very simple question. Im 39th in line on this call... Mccoys confusing written instructions say the only change to my account # is that 990 was added to the gulf states account number; however, this doesnt differentiate between my checking and savings account. help!

The truth is that I do not recommend this credit union, I lost my debit card and to be able to connect with them I had to wait 1 hour. The application you have does not have a way to report lost or stolen cards. The truth is useless.

Where do I even begin. It was my first time ever going into a bank and opening up an account with you guys, I had no idea how it was going to go but Miss Ambra Carter made it such a wonderful experience. She walked me through every single thing I need to know, she was very patient with me and all of my questions. She shared some of her own experiences with me to help me get a better understanding of certain things which was a great help! She was overall just a wonderful person and calling her an amazing employee is an understatement! I m definitely glad I joined McCoy and I will be calling her with any questions I may ever have!

When I first got an account here, I was happy to have found this Credit Union. After a little over a month, I am extremely disappointed. First, KYC laws dictate that they check my ID only if they dont know me. They greet me by name but constantly check my ID. Second, somehow an address that I never gave them appeared on my account and caused me major problems with other vendors. Third, they use this weird cleaning chemical that makes me very nauseous and dizzy. When I ask them to stop using it, they use more. It must be a Florida thing because everywhere I go everyone wears two masks (cloth and disposable) and sprays this chemical. Fourth, Im paying $8 per month for the account but had to contact 5 government regulators and the BBB to be able to use my Mobile Protect feature when my phone was stolen. Fifth, when I finally lost patience and complained, Rafael the assistant branch manager demanded I leave and not come back. He handed me a card with a corporate contact. When I contacted Mandy Wolfgang at extension 51140, she didnt return my call. Sixth, activating my debit card was a nightmare and I still havent been able to. Other problems include them giving me false info to try to set up services, endless referrals to other departments without answers, giving me fake phone numbers, etc. This has been the worst banking experience ever. I genuinely feel like theyre trying to do everything they can to remove access to my money and make my life harder.

I was not happy with my Interest rate with Ally so I had paid a visit to Mccoys Federal witch has been my Bank for about 5 years. The bank has been great and I Deff considered refinancing my Vehicle. I met Raphael Reyes in witch i spoke too and was able to get a better understanding in the topic. Mr. Reyes helped me understand everything and was such a great company wile the hole process was being done. It turned out I was able to finance with Mccoys at a super low IPR and all thanks to Raphael and all his great advice. I will Deff keep going back to his location just because of how comfortable I feel because of how great he was. Super satisfied Thank you so much. At first I thought to myself that it was impossible for me to do good with my credit. I am a customer of Bank of America and I received for my credit standing $600 and no other offers, I wanted to refinance my car, but I didn t do it with Bank of America because they didn t appreciate me as much as McCoy Federal credit Union, but to my surprise my car got refinance through them for a much lower rate 4.5 from 13.75 would you agree that appreciation is needed for the good professional environment at McCoy Bank I m not just saying this, but this was really a great Credit union and if you had that experience that I had , which is fantastic. I just opened my accounts on September 10 and I already have a bad experience starting with this cooperative. I have been waiting for my card from my accounts for 14 days when it has not yet arrived, supposedly it arrived from 5 to 7 days and having money in my accounts and had to use my credit cards to be able to move, take gasoline and everything is inos inrresponsible and customer service does not solve anything, we just feel it as if with that I could use it to pay my debts and my things.

I have been a Mccoy customer since they only had one Office... All the Banks existed... But my trust was and continues to be Mccoy Federal Credit Union... It seemed small, but it offered a lot of security. Today time has confirmed it to me... I am with the best Institution... And despite the Economic problems that the country has gone through and is going through, I have never felt insecurity with my Mccoy... Yes, thats how I consider it... Its wonderful when you see how your doubts fade away, because this institution is always looking out for your best interests and they always have the best staff at your disposal, to help you choose the decision that best suits you... About a month ago, after a review of my household budget, I noticed that my financial profile included several high interest rate loans. With this in mind, I decided to look into securing a debt consolidation loan. I was initially approved for a loan by a nationally-known company, and was in the process of finalizing the paperwork, when I noticed that I was to be charged a significant amount in closing fees (nearly $1500). Needless to say, I withdrew my application. About a week or so after after concluding that, perhaps a debt-consolidation loan was not a good option, I decided to enquire about the loan products available through my credit union, McCoy Federal. I was heartened to discover that they offered debt consolidation loans, and decided to apply. I completed an online loan application, and was promptly contacted by Ms. Michelle Fincham, a representative from McCoys lending center. Ms. Fincham proved to be knowledgeable, professional and personable. She facilitated a smooth application process, and kept me informed throughout. The process took place entirely remotely, without the need for me to visit the branch office (extremely advantageous given current events), and I was able to close within days. Please allow me to take this opportunity to commend McCoy Federal for retaining employees like Ms. Fincham. Her patience and attention to detail were exemplary. She, and individuals like her, remind me of why I belong to my hometown credit union. Thank you. PS - I almost forgot: Closing costs on my loan were minimal, and the interest rate was about a half of what the national firm would have charged.

I ve been working with Christine Rivera, at McCoy Federal Credit Union, since April. She s been professional and very kind. She s answered every question that I ve asked, either by phone or by email, and very quickly. I felt respected and not just like a number. I m also working with another bank, that has been quite the opposite. Working with her has been a big blessing while trying to navigate my new role as Legal Guardian for my aunt. It s been a pleasure working with her. She helped me every step of the way. She s been patient with me, even through some of my dumb questions, perhaps. She s a great asset to your company. I m thinking of moving to the Orlando area in the next year or so and I would not hesitate to use McCoy as my new banking relationship.

I was in a time crunch making a vehicle purchase. McCoy had loan ready to go after applying over the weekend . Monday morning, I had my check and a new vehicle within a couple of hours and I was off to work! Thanks McCoy!

I applied for a Personal Line of Credit and was contacted via phone within 24 business hours seeking additional documentation for review and consideration of the approval. I felt that the Money Manager gave my application a thorough and fair review of my overall financial landscape and ultimately approved my application with a personal credit line limit suitable for my needs. Working with Jamie Mena at the Osceola branch was a breeze. It was the most efficient auto loan process Ive gone through. Completed the process with a few emails and phone calls. Securing financing before hand also allows for you to be in and out of a dealership. This being my 23rd vehicle I know all too well how much time can be wasted by not being prepared or using the dealer for financing. 3 loans with McCoy without any issue.

An absolutely horrible bank. Ive attempted to assist one of my patients to get some information from them to aid her family during a very rough time and they were less than helpful and ultimately wanted to hang up the phone. When I requested to speak to leadership, of course, no one was available. Ensure that you note the 2.4 Star reviews -- clearly they arent doing something right.

Havent had problems with bank, but I can say their app needs to be improved , more locations needed, and at least a location open on Saturday, and wish I didnt have to pay % to them when I use my debit card from another bank to make loan payments. Staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

I dont trust these people. They have policies that target thier less then fortunate members. By charging fees that only an individual with very little resources must endure. I would use caution when doing business with McCoy Federal. One has to question anyone running a none profit. Like how much do the managers and CEOs earn annually? How much did they charge in fees last year? Js

Awful customer service at the branch at chickasaw.. I got to drive thru around 5:30 and there was a car still waiting for the teller and when I ask for service she said sorry we closed.. I then asked her that there was a car still waiting for service can she please help me customer service and proceed by telling no go to the atm or drop box. WOW what happen to customer service in this world that why businesses and banks are being closed down.. I wait there on June 26th 2019 at 5:30pm.. Worst service ever..

Horrible service , I had to wait for almost 2 hours to sign a piece of paper. The agents are not professional I walked in and they had me wait until their conversation was finished to finally assist me. Horrible Horrible Horrible bank !!!!!!!

They wont tell you how much to expect a loan payment to be based on your credit score (just asking for an average based on your profile) unless they run a hard inquiry. Not an honest financial institution as they have tables with this stuff. Stay away from this financial institution.
