Amazing service........I went in for an oil change... Amazing service... I was offered ... .....breakfast by salesman ken,while I waited who also was my salesman two years ago when I brought my 2015 BMW 528i. No problems whatsoever... During the duration if I couldn't make payment on time . They always gave me time and never I mean never repossessed my car.... I see a lot of negative reviews and I beg to disagree. Chris is amazing!!!!Service was fast and I'm back home and had a 7am appt. ..Trust I'm a tru customer and I never leave a review,but I just had to when I see all the negatively.People don't believe everything you hear.Cause they not telling you the whole truth... Two years strong and I plan to continue to be a customer.. 💯

Worst establishment ever. It seems it used to be a good place when the father was in charge but the son is the worse person in earth and it reflects in the business. They are very dishonest. Everyday I went there trying to get my money back there was a customer there trying to settle an issue, one even brought the police and it was all due to them being dishonest. I ended up taking a car from them because they would not refund my deposit and expectedly I am not happy with the car at all. It’s a 2021 but the condition is disgusting, it had transmission problems from the go and now 4 moths later the dash is lighting up like a Christmas tree. If you have a choice avoid them at all cost.

It may look like a scrap yard, but that's not a secret. You know this when you decide to do business with them. It's not a secret. If you want new, fresh leather Lexus, go to the Lexus mansion.

My only critique for this place, work on better communication. Not just with customers, but with your own team. One person knows something that other other 8 don't, and it makes for sloppy service [the issue I'm hammering out with them now]. I believe that will help create a better team synergy. Otherwise, my experience here was positive [because unlike all the other 1-star reviews, I knew what I was getting into and accepted it].

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Read my whole review!!!!!!
How this place has. 4.7 ratings is beyond me. I was referred to this place and I regret ever stepping through the doors.

#1: They tried to sell me a car that should be junked, so I declined. He (Brandon) showed me a different option. A 2016 Chevy Trax. I liked the car. He informed me that they just changed something on the car so a lot of smoke was coming out of the exhaust, but he said the more I drove it the smoke would go away. Seemed a little odd but I still went with it. Also, I was NOT able to test drive the car because it was blocked in the middle of other cars. He just started the engine for me and let me sit in it!

2: Now, I’m paying the deposit, signing the lease, and getting insurance with their in house person Karla. The manager Chris was adamant that I paid cash or Zelle for the down payment and seemed annoyed that I wanted to pay by card. THANK GOD I did use my card. Zelle? Really? Lol.

3. Karla informs me that with my (overly priced) insurance that I’m able to get a rental car if my car was being serviced and I wasn’t able to drive it. Found out that WASN’T TRUE. I called United and they told me that I was responsible for my own rental vehicle! Plus, she charged me $20 (paid in cash) to even book the insurance for me. Like, what?

4.) After dealing with all these shady individuals, it’s finally time for me to drive off in the car (that was FILTHY as the detailer has already left for the day lol). I made it one block and the car started SMOKING up the whole block. I wish I were exaggerating. I instantly drove back to AutoMax to tell them something wasn’t right. They informed me that it was because they just repaired it and I had to drive the smoke off! Lmao. Seriously? It was smoking from the exhaust and under the hood. I left it to be repaired overnight.

5.) I woke up to a text from Ken saying that Brandon drove the car all night until the smoke was gone. Keep in mind this car is registered and insured by me, but this guy is driving it all night? How can I be sure he’s obeying traffic laws, driving safe, etc… I’m the only person insured to drive it!!! Doesn’t make sense. Anyway, then Ken told me the check engine light came on. If I would have listened and drove it off the lot I would’ve been in a world of trouble. Then I had to Uber home for $30 and they refused to reimburse it. After I just bought a car that can’t even be driven off the lot! It wasn’t even in DECENT shape mechanically.

6.) Now, Ken can’t tell me when the car will be repaired and hasn’t responded to my calls, and will barely text me back. All he keeps saying is that they don’t give refunds. LOL.

Also, they said the car had 50,000 less miles than it actually had. When I looked at the contract, the odometer read 191,000 miles and the life expectancy for a 2016 Chevy Trax is only 200,000 miles!!!!

So, they think they’re going to screw me out of $1400? Hilarious.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Shady shady shady. I’ve already reported them to the BBB and contacted my bank and the insurance company. If you DO end up coming here, USE YOUR CARD. Don’t let them convince you to use cash or Zelle!!!!!

I don’t know if I just have the most patience but I only had one problem and they fixed my issue which I really appreciate!

Before getting my car I read the reviews and was like “oh man I hope this doesn’t happen to me” but in all honestly Chris and my sales person Ken has been the most helpful and I really love my GMC ‼️

Thanks Again Automax! I’ll definitely be back and recommending to all my family and friends.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!! Everyone stay far far far far far far away from this place. Just know they do
NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE at all so if your car have problems with transmission or engine your on your own to fix it. Even if you try to dispute the charge you will not receive the refund due to using your pin. They give 30 days for repair after buying the car. NO WARRANTY AT ALL. BEWARE THE APR IS 26% on top of car total price for 4 years it’s equal to $23,000 estimates. Vehicle are very high mileage past way past 100,000. Even myself I took it to autozone for computer reading went to the dealership and it didn’t match what they were actually suppose to fix. Vehicle not even properly fix right they do have a service shop but the job won’t fix right. There vehicle mostly come from auction or repossession. This business is mostly in house finance they don't check credit at all. If you don’t want the car they will give you a release form to cancel I recommend go somewhere else if you prefer to have your money back. The front desk guy has an attitude and doesn’t show compassion to the customer that work hard for their money. THIS BUSINESS JUST WANT TO SCAM YOUR MONEY. I will report to the business bureau.

This is the worst cart mart place to purchase a car I purchase a car last year November Ken was my sales rep and the owner was also aware that I purchase this car with the head light broken they promised me to send the light to my address it s official one year and I haven t yet receive that light each time I call and report to there receptionist they told me they can t do nothing about it the owner is out and he is the one that can help with this situations every single time I called this company it s always poor customer service overall they lock of communication and don t care about they customer once they get there down payment and monthly payment that s is it for them I need my car light asap cause u guy promise me to ship my light one year now poor customer service and don t care about nothing but there payment all the staff I spoke with telling me the owner will be in the next day each time I called. 6 days of the week it s the same story owner is not here and he the only person that can help am tired and need my light I never late on payment so I need my light

I beg you guys please do not go to this place of business. They will take your deposit and repossess your vehicle less than a week. The special finance on their website is their private owned contract where everything is under the table they will repossess your vehicle so please no one don t purchase any cars over here. I beg you do not buy any cars over here. All of the vehicles there are Not even working, not even drivable the only cars that are drivable that will scam you are The store where they give you a special finance and repossess your vehicle.Spoke with the owners and I watched two other customers drive back to the store to get their money back because of the shady I went undercover just to smell the shady business and it is not a car dealership. It is a scrapyard. They change the parts on the cars they keep selling other cars to scam you more.

Beware! DO NOT TRUST THEM! I found an ad for a car for $7800. My car had just been totaled in a hit & run accident. I explained my situation to them... Im a single mom w/3 kids i just needed something safe and affordable to get my children to & from school & myself to & from work. I made it clear my budget was $10,000 and explained i would not under any circumstances finance. They said no problem! Acting like they wanted to help. I explained i was waiting for my insurance check and would come back in a few days. They insisted i didnt need to do that & explained they have a 90 day same as cash policy so it didnt make sense to wait. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! While we were in the finance office the manager said, Im so sorry I have to go pick up my daughter. I promise to email you all your paperwork first thing in the morning. I was naive and didnt even think to say no you cant get your kid until im done! I should have! Long story a bit shorter. Their policy & promise was as long as the balance, which was a total of about $8,000 was paid off within 90 days, the cash price would be honored. Not to mention this is printed all over the dealership so I thought I had no reason to doubt it. I put down $2,000, I called in exactly 30 days to pay the remainder which should have been around $5,000-$6,000. When I called they said I owed them $12,000+! Shocked! I explained n he knew 100% what I was talking about, but didnt care! I went down there in person praying there was some kind of a mistake and thinking maybe they would realize but unfortunately that was not the case. Before I left that day I ended up giving them another $8,000 so thats a total of $10,000 so far on a vehicle that was priced at $7,800! I thought atleast thatll be the end of this, but I was very mistaken! Still refusing to give me any paperwork, he then told me that I still owed another $2,000! I said Im not giving you another dollar He said okay well just take the car back! I asked how we went from $7,800 to $12,000 not financed and his answer was fees! Bottom line In so many words he said I had no other option but to finance $2,000, which would be $193 a month for 12 months. I said absolutely not but he had me backed into a corner! I did not agree and I did not sign anything! I left in tears, devastated. They could care less as he simultaneously stole every penny I had. He said I better make sure I paid my payments or I would lose all my money + my vehicle! Looking back I should have called the cops but I just didnt. After paying the $10,000 and still somehow having a $2,000 loan that I never agreed too, I told myself just pay it off and be done with these people! So 100% out of fear of losing my only vehicle thats what I did. I paid their BS payment every month on time. Keep in mind I have absolutely no paperwork! If you thought it couldnt get any worse just wait.. when 1 year was approaching and the $2,000 was about to be paid off still having no papers I had no way to verify anything so I went on Credit Karma. Idk why but I was shocked once again! They never put through a $2,000 loan for a year they put through a $5,000 loan for 3 years! And even though I paid the payment that I never should have had every single month on time they marked almost all of them delinquent! Every payment I made was eaten by 25% interest + late fees! This is such a crime! I have EVERY receipt! They RUINED my credit! I got there with a 700 credit score and now my credit is in the 400s! I recently had no choice but to turn in my tags because I simply cant afford the all of this. I cant find a place for me and my children to live and I couldnt get a car loan no matter how hard I tried because of these people destroying everything I worked so hard for. I am writing this review because I dont want this to happen to anybody else its truly been a nightmare. If anyone would like to see receipts or proof for every claim Ive made in this review I would be happy to share it with you. Just protect yourself and your family and stay away from this please! +PHOTOS OF PROOF!

updated- see how nice I was below. yep went to see with my own eyes as reviews are reviews. I guess getting out on a Friday evening was understandable. BUT I was brushed off by the visibly bored and bothered owner. So, the older man who wipes me down from the rain, , the guy tells him SHOW HER THE 2 C CLASS in range...What did he do.. shows me a car double my range then walks away.., So assumed owner calls me over to show me something on laptop. , Sales guy was accusing me of going over there why you go to him now the price is more blah blah, ...I guess owner heard him badgering me.. hes like well in reality I DID call her over LIKE WOW...so Im getting this vibe that they only concerned with what you putting down.. & since you dont have good credit you have up put half down... COOL.... Oh no thats CASH PRICE.....UHM DUH. no shxt.!!! HOWEVER, If they were actually in business for buyers, return buyers etc, why WOULDNT YOU work something out on 5900 car with 25% down with a 12 to 18 month payoff without doubling price of car. GREEDY MUCH. ? Meaning, like almost 90 day same as cash ,but with a little less interest type deal ... Lets be 100: Im not expecting much with the merch but you cant have mid merch and bad custo service. I even inquired about some of the rent me ,bc some TLC can go a long way , ... how long you want it there taking up space. Anyways, So he says another c class DOWN THE ROAD getting tires...lol Did the math the APR on a 5800k vehicle, was coming up to 13,200. !!!!!!!!!!!I was like hey... blah blah... owner says its like 27%.... uhm no Im a woman not an idiot. Im not expecting much but hey. ... alright now its 6 days later, im meeting a dealer by this dealer lot...with 1k down. got you approved HIT MY CREDIT AGAIN for a 2021 car I didnt even ask about UGH, I just left and Im over it. Im fat I need to walk anyways. .. Im sorry with the amount of inventory, WHY DID I LEAVE WITH NO CAR????????. BAD CREDIT NO CREDIT, BHPH. bc you know damn well with what i saw you couldnt NEGOTIATE or do a REASONABLE TERM w 1500, down , I dont care if my credit is 210, 850. I had a 725 and in SIX MONTHS IT WAS DESTROYED, things change, all the time. BELIEVE THAT.... Owner , if you inherited dealership, and dont like doing it,....BELIEVE ME IT SHOWS . Beware of this place a bunch of unscrupulous dishonest car sales man working for a junk yard I contacted Kevin regarding a blue Nissan Pathfinder that I was looking to purchase in cash. We concluded based on the distance I had to drive to come purchase the car it would be too close to the time they would close for the day it will be best for me to come in the morning to inspect the car. Hints the exact car has not been sold the following morning I drove 2 and half hours arrived before they even opened for the day to then be told that 1 the car was sold some of a week ago and Kevin does not work on that specific day then proceed to show me similar cars that they are piecing together meaning taking parts from other cars of the same model to make one car to sale as if it was a Lego set lol. When I contact Kevin and asked him why did he waste my time to no response only for the guy that walks with the cane to laugh in my face and tell me we are car sales man we will never tell you the car not available.

I never got a car I put faith in one of the. dealers there to find me a car of my liking. He could not do so in a timely manner of almost a month. And now theyre trying to saying theres no refunds. THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The sales man Brandon stole 1000 dollars from me gave a bill of sale paper with 1k written on the top . And when I called up there the Monday before the Tuesday to pick up car just to check if it was ready before time and honey they said to me the car is ready for days and I never left any money . I talked to the owner he called Brandon on 3 way Brandon said you didn t leave money I then asked the owner Chris to run back the camera he ran it back says he sees me how ever he doesn t see no money transaction and I know from right there the two of them are in cahoots and the messed up part of it is if I was a man they would of never stole my money this place is hands down a don t go to place don t even waste your time and go there THEY ARE THIEVES !!!!

Just called and got the rudest guy. Asked what do you require to purchase a car. First hes talking to someone else while I am on the phone and doesnt even say, excuse me. So I ask again. He says we dont do anything for free! Hung up on me. Wow! Great customer service! Look at this response below. Not even an apology. This is Automax customer service. DO NOT purchase anything from this company! They have been in possession of my vehicle to be fixed since September 2023 with and exception of a week in December! Nothing but problems and they refuse to speak to you on what s happening with your car! They did valve work before I got it back in December then 3 days later oil blew out everywhere and ruined the motor they have had it ever since.

The worst place in all of Florida, I dont know how they have the little shame to scam people, everyone in that place is there to scam anyone by selling cars without warranty, they tell you that they give you a months warranty and its a lie, they are giving you long and crashed cars like new asking for initials that not even the official dealers ask for them, deceiving people with the fact that they are going to help them without credit and without social security to give you an auction car with thousands of problems, they erase the codes on the car so that People dont realize it, they make them up more or less and after a few days the problems start to appear and they take the initial one and dont give it back to you. All the cars they sell are wrecked and they dont give them to you fixed or with inspection, they make you sign the contract before the inspection, what contract is fraudulent and with very high interest so you pay for a car that is useless for the value 3 times higher than what it is worth new... not to mention the service, thousands of people deceived in line with broken cars And to know when its your turn to repair which they do it with very bad Yonker parts to tell you that they charge you cheap and cheap is the part that they give you so they keep the money, the mechanics are very bad and they change the good parts or They take the parts off your car or leave it in the wrong place so that it breaks and you have to come back and charge you money, the work staff doesnt even answer your call when you need something or when you claim something in your right, I dont know how They are so shameless to deceive people, the government should close the garbage dump they have so they dont continue stealing from people... thats why people stop paying for their vehicles because they dont work and when you tell them here on this page they blackmail you. You havent paid, obviously no one is going to pay for a car that doesnt work, in my case I had the vehicle inspected and it had a lot of problems and they didnt return anything... in heaven there is a God who is watching you hurt the people in your life. county Q God bless you MMGB, . If you are a buyer and are looking for a car, dont even go near this place so that the same thing doesnt happen to all of us who have left a review here... Be for real DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Read my whole review!!!!!! How this place has. 4.7 ratings is beyond me. I was referred to this place and I regret ever stepping through the doors. #1: They tried to sell me a car that should be junked, so I declined. He (Brandon) showed me a different option. A 2016 Chevy Trax. I liked the car. He informed me that they just changed something on the car so a lot of smoke was coming out of the exhaust, but he said the more I drove it the smoke would go away. Seemed a little odd but I still went with it. Also, I was NOT able to test drive the car because it was blocked in the middle of other cars. He just started the engine for me and let me sit in it! 2: Now, I m paying the deposit, signing the lease, and getting insurance with their in house person Karla. The manager Chris was adamant that I paid cash or Zelle for the down payment and seemed annoyed that I wanted to pay by card. THANK GOD I did use my card. Zelle? Really? Lol. 3. Karla informs me that with my (overly priced) insurance that I m able to get a rental car if my car was being serviced and I wasn t able to drive it. Found out that WASN T TRUE. I called United and they told me that I was responsible for my own rental vehicle! Plus, she charged me $20 (paid in cash) to even book the insurance for me. Like, what? 4.) After dealing with all these shady individuals, it s finally time for me to drive off in the car (that was FILTHY as the detailer has already left for the day lol). I made it one block and the car started SMOKING up the whole block. I wish I were exaggerating. I instantly drove back to AutoMax to tell them something wasn t right. They informed me that it was because they just repaired it and I had to drive the smoke off! Lmao. Seriously? It was smoking from the exhaust and under the hood. I left it to be repaired overnight. 5.) I woke up to a text from Ken saying that Brandon drove the car all night until the smoke was gone. Keep in mind this car is registered and insured by me, but this guy is driving it all night? How can I be sure he s obeying traffic laws, driving safe, etc I m the only person insured to drive it!!! Doesn t make sense. Anyway, then Ken told me the check engine light came on. If I would have listened and drove it off the lot I would ve been in a world of trouble. Then I had to Uber home for $30 and they refused to reimburse it. After I just bought a car that can t even be driven off the lot! It wasn t even in DECENT shape mechanically. 6.) Now, Ken can t tell me when the car will be repaired and hasn t responded to my calls, and will barely text me back. All he keeps saying is that they don t give refunds. LOL. Also, they said the car had 50,000 less miles than it actually had. When I looked at the contract, the odometer read 191,000 miles and the life expectancy for a 2016 Chevy Trax is only 200,000 miles!!!! So, they think they re going to screw me out of $1400? Hilarious. AVOID THIS PLACE. Shady shady shady. I ve already reported them to the BBB and contacted my bank and the insurance company. If you DO end up coming here, USE YOUR CARD. (STAY AWAY FROM THEM, THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND TELL YOU NOTHING BUT LIES) So I bought a car from these guys, it had an oil leak and fuel leak. Within the 30 days, I went, reported it, and asked them to fix it they didnt. Ive gone multiple times, and they tried telling me, Give it two weeks, the oil will stop, which is a lie. They just adjusted a screw, and the problem was solved kid you not, they didnt solve anything; these guys dont know what theyre doing besides scamming people of their deposits and finding a way to screw those guys over so they can keep getting deposits. Theyll tell you, The car has passed inspection and has all the green lights, which is also a lie. I had my mechanics look at it, and they all told me what it was. I then told AutoMax within 30 days, and they decided to say to me, Were not wasting any more time on your car, and its no longer our problem, when I had the full right, and its been the same issue since the very beginning. These people do not care about you. They may fix your car, but in the end, they will do it in an uncaring way where they wont correctly do the stuff. I quit paying them; I allowed them to take it. They dont have my social. They have nothing. Please dont be scared or let them intimidate you. Chris, youre a coward. Jesus will right your wrongs, so I Dont need to seek any revenge; keep taking advantage of the people in need and aid. For God is righteous, fulfilling, fair, and just. He will make you answer for your sins and your hardened heart. But God/Jesus is also a merciful God, for I pray and hope he shows you mercy for your sins. This place is completely trash. I definitely felt like I was in a abusive relationship after buying a car from this place. Everything they fix wasnt fix right. I was told the wet spot in the roof wasnt because of a leak and it been raining very hard and the ceiling is leaking. So they lied about that too. My car was there for 1 week. When they gave me back my car the full tank wasnt even half. I can go on and on about this place. They are horrible! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM.

My son bought a car drove down the street and car shut off . Automax did not provide towing. Then when the vehicle was returned they said the cant give him his money. And did not want to talk to him. Spoke with Chris this people are really rude. They are selling lemons . Please beware stay away from Automax in Hollywood off of 441 and Cleveland Street.

These guys must me on drugs heavy. Well after a rough phone call he still proceeds to send me pictures. I went to the Hollywood Automax located on 441/ State Road 7 to purchase a vehicle with a family member. They ended up scamming us for our deposit. We spoke to Carlos/GianCarlos and we arranged to purchase a Toyota Corolla that Carlos told us had 151,000 miles. After paying the deposit we were presented a contract for a car with 258,000 miles. We let him know we were not interested in a vehicle with 100,000 more miles than we agreed with and he immediately started attempting to strong arm us to sign the contract. We of course did not sign and asked for our deposit to be returned. Carlos let us know that we would not be getting our deposit back. I have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and the department that licenses dealerships and I advise anyone else scammed by Automax in Hollywood to do the same.

If I could give this place a 0 I would and not because of the pk cars nor the opportunity they gave me to schedule an appointment. Call pk I wanted to have more information about a car that I saw on your website and I spoke with a certain Carlos who at no time told me that he was busy with a client and after telling him twice that I did not want to go to the Dealer without first having some more information about the car because he lived two hours from that place, the man kept insisting that when he could stop by the Dealer without hardly checking if the car he was looking for was still available. I ended up repeating to the man that I couldnt go that I needed a little more information and the man changed his tone of voice and told me with an attitude, well, wait, I have a client, no matter how important it is, and I hung up on him. I call the Dealer again to see if I have better luck with another worker who can help me and I get another man who can look for the information about the car but then this guy Carlos arrived and told the man not to help me that I I had called before that I was just calling everyone to ask questions and look for deals or I dont know what he said and that I just wanted to look for problems between the sellers. I explained to the man that I did not want to be attended to by this Carlos, thats why I had called again if in the end there were other people who could help me and the man left me waiting saying hello for like a minute and in the end he wants to answer me, he tells me No, I cant help you, you have to wait for Carlos to call you. I was so angry with their poor customer service that I hung up on them. IF I CALL PK I AM INTERESTED AND I NEED TO BUY A CAR SOON AND YOU REALLY WANT TO SELL THAT CAR AND HELP YOUR CUSTOMER I THINK THAT IS NO WAY. The experience in this place was horrible and if I called a second time it was because I was really interested. Carlos should change his profession, sir, just like his partner!!!

Dealership is an absolute scam and joke bait and switch at its worst vehicles listed on site are not even available the price is inaccurate per the very illiterate sales person they purchase custom vehicles from auctions per customer request which validated my question. You actually don t know anything about the cars you re claiming to sell and there is no way to purchase custom vehicles from auctions. And the most outrageous statement told is they only sale vehicles to residents of the state of Florida and the price on CarGurus along with stock is never updated it s used to draw attention.
