Kayla's service was excellent when my team and I were doing business... 5/5 ...but she went the extra mile to help when our car battery died during after hours and she left and came back with jumper cables in the rain to save the day. I am writing this review to specifically thank Shaleah and Kayla. Their kindness and help turned a horrible situation into a great situation. Immediately after the computer merger with 121 FCU I was very frustrated with Vystar CU. I couldn't get through on the phone because of the call volume and did not receive a call back for over 2 1/2 hours. I decided to drive to a local branch and I was intending on closing my accounts. The entire staff at this branch were pleasant and understanding of my frustration from the moment I walked into the branch. Kayla was the first person I encountered and she immediately put me at ease. She took me over to Shaleah's office and Shaleah kindly and gently resolved all of my issues. If it were not for Shaleah and Kayla I would have closed my accounts.

Every time I visit this bank it is a very nice experience. As I walk in the door I am welcomed with big smiles from Jordan White and Alona Stepova. I have received excellent 5-Star service from them both since moving to the area. Today, I did not see Jordan when I arrived at the Bank and Alona was busy helping another customer. As I was going to sit in the cozy waiting area I was stopped by a nice lady who introduced herself as Shaleah. She asked me what I needed and I told her. Shaleah left then came back within 3-minutes and ask if there was anything else I needed. Little did I know, Shaleah Lookadoo just so happens to be the Vice President of the bank. You would never know she is the VP. I loved she just jumped in to help where needed. Now I know why the Credit Union runs so well. When you have someone like Shaleah at top leading the way, then you’re going to have Jordan and Alona adopting the same excellent Customer service approach demonstrated by their leader. Love this Credit Union!

I went into Vystar on 8th Avenue to sign a document. There were two tellers, each one dealing with a customer. An employee who was sitting behind the tellers saw me and quickly got up and asked if he could help me. I had received a phone call from Vystar and they needed my signature on a document. I was very impressed with his quick response and he quickly found the information I needed to sign. His name was Emmett Griggs. Thanks Emmett for your great service!!

I m mad at VyStar but a huge Thank you to Kayla at the 8th Street location! I was on my way to withdrawal every penny due to being misled and spoken to crazy by an associate over the phone. However, when I walked into the bank Kayla was smiling. She greeted me and asked how she could help. I explained what happened and that I wanted to close my account. She said, I hate to hear that . So she asked if she could take a look at the account to see if she could help rectify the situation. She explained to me what actually happened and fixed everything all while still smiling and being kind. I went from wanting to close out my account to actually laughing in the bank with her. Kayla s commitment to excellent guest services is the only reason I m still with VyStar. It s also the reason why I will only go to this location from now on. The staff at this branch location has been exceptionally noteworthy in providing competent, knowledgeable, professional and courteous service across multiple functions and departments. Even though this branch is not the nearest to us, we prefer to go there to conduct all our business.

Ryan at the VYSTAR in Gainesville, FL on 43rd Street completed all the paperwork for me. It was a lot of work on his part, but he never complained and only assured me that he was glad to do it for me. Ryan is a real keeper for VYSTAR. He took what could have been an unpleasant experience for me and turned it into a pleasant one.

As a member who worked with Che at a branch previously, I really wanted to work with him again. As he is now at the contact center, I reached out to him there. He did not disappoint! He worked and reworked my loan for several vehicles. I told him I planned on buying a car on Saturday and knew that he would be off work. As great as the Contact Center had been, I wanted to deal with someone in person, so he recommended that I go to the Oaks branch. The experience there was fantastic and I am so glad I took his advice. Savanah, Katie, and Michael worked together to make sure I left with the loan check even though it meant staying late. They never once seemed annoyed about staying late. We talked about different car buying experiences, and it felt more like friends than a financial institution. Each one of them seemed truly happy for me when the process was complete. I highly recommend going to any of them if you need a loan!

My process of refinancing my car started a couple months ago & took a bit to get done , but Savanna Mascoud , went ABOVE AND BEYOND. answered every question I had, walked me through line by line of my paperwork before signing , if I could give her 10 stars I would. I feel like she is genuinely there for the people and not just the bank. This is by FAR my favorite branch in Gainesville. I ve dealt with others here as well and they all have always treated me with the upmost respect and helped me no matter how small or big the problem was , and they don t make you feel like you are a waste of time or don t matter !!! It might be a drive for some but I recommend coming here if you bank with VyStar or are looking for a bank !!! Ask for Savanna she is awesome!

I opened an account at VyStar Credit Union a few years ago and have always had excellent experiences in regards to customer service. The staff at this particular branch are super helpful and knowledgeable, especially Katy Gray who recently helped me with a tax document I needed to complete my return. I have had very few instances where I was in a total disarray and needed to find a solution with my account. I called(something I hate) the customer service and literally prayed as I was on hold. Luckily the representative Katie G. answered and LITERALLY SAVED my life! She was so helpful and very informative, giving me long term options/solutions. I just am truly thankful that Katie took the extra time and effort to resolve my issues. Its the outstanding customer service for me at Vystar!! Thanks Katie again.

Katy is one out of two of my favorites out of three branches. She is so kind and caring. Always positive and helpful! During the outages I was going to leave VyStar however I stayed not with VyStar I chose to stay with Katy. Thank you so much!

I have dealt with Vystar Credit Union for years. I lived in Jacksonville when I opened the account. I then moved to NYC and then South Florida and I have remained with Vystar because of the incredible customer service Alyssa Harris provides. She calls or emails me occasionally just to see how I am and if I need anything. She helped me get my car refinanced, get a new credit account and a personal loan. When my son turned 16 and started working she helped him get his direct deposit set up. She truly cares about me and my family and remembers the little details. I am so grateful for Alyssa helping me manage my financial needs.

By far the best experience I ve ever had getting set up with a credit union! Katy Gray was such an amazing, and charismatic individual. She was extremely patient with me and answered every question I had. She set me up in more ways than one!!! I felt so important, and was offered every perk the credit union offered. I actually feel like I m off to a wonderful start with Vystar!

The online service has been struggling since the update but one call to my local branch and they take care of my needs without having to deal with the website! They are the most responsive group of professionals to work with any time I ve called.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Vystar! The Assistant Branch Manager, Shaleah Lookadoo was very knowledgeable of all Vystars services and member benefits. She patiently walked me through every step of the process. Alyssa Harris was also very helpful. She provided excellent customer service and stayed after-hours just to answer all of my questions. It is hard to describe the level of professionalism, efficiency and values held by everyone at Vystar. They provide very good customer service at this location every time I have been there.

This branch does excellent business and provides stellar customer service. Specifically Alyssa who helped me consolidate alot of my finances and answered every question I had. Go place and atmosphere of ppl very polite and kind and always willing to help. I just have a problem with the online banking. Especially when it came to deposit my check thru the app it s been almost 3 days and my check is apparently still pending smh makes me wish I just cashed the check thru the bank physically..

From hello the representatives were polite and helpful. I started out inquiring about a personal loan and in less than 48 hrs I was approved for a personal loan and an automotive loan. Chayanne assisted me from start to finish! Her personality, tone and willingness to assist made this an awesome process. Her demeanor was always cheerfully and very knowledgeable about the lines of services a d products Vystar offered. She returned calls and emails very promptly. I would recommend the 8th street location and Chayanne for you banking and loan needs.

The teller made a mistake when my son went in to make a payment on my credit card from his checking account. They promptly credited my account the missing amount and resolved the issue. Their service isn t as wonderful as the Lake City Branch, but they handled their business quickly and for that I m thankful.

Most difficult organization to contact I have ever experience. Making a loan payment. I think they hope your payment fails. Not a friendly internet connection, and it is a mess when you get into their automated long winded phone system. Three Calls today over 15 mins to get to the correct location. And this is not the first time. If you dont have all the accounting numbers even if you have an account with them you can not make an EFT from outside of Vystar . Wi Wish I had stuck with Campus Credit Union

I ve gone in there twice now and they have the friendliest staff and most welcoming environment. Mrs. Kathleen was amazing and unproblematic. She helped me out in under 5 minutes. Will not be going to the other location again.
