The service was amazing! Jorge was as able to not only assist extremely quickly and efficiently, but also explained the process of what I was applying for more in depth! Having this be my first time do a bigger transaction as such it was so helpful having someone to actually give you solid advice! I closed my transaction with David and it couldn’t have been done any smoother! All the last bits of information were given thoroughly, all in all was a great visit!!! I have been with VyStar since 2012 and they’re great!

When visiting the SW 34th Street branch, there have been three or four times specifically that Renae Green has assisted me. Today I walked into the branch, saw her and was immediately relieved. Her track record with me immediately reminded me that whatever I need help with she is 1) Going to warmly greet me 2) Ask me what I need assistance with 3) Ask any clarifying questions/ gather any/all necessary information to ensure we are on the same and how best to proceed 4) Assists me efficiently (she is FAST AND ACCURATE) 5) Educates me about the process and other needs I may have 6) Makes sure all my financial needs are met before walking out the door! I had $40,000 stolen out of my account. One of the bank teller helped not only steal the $40,000 but she deleted the account data showing that the money had been stolen. This has happened twice. The bank teller also stole items for my safe deposit box these items include security camera footage of a break-in of my condo. Mon Sep 16 update They now have resorted to calling me to try to get me to change my review. Its kind of creepy. Please Vystar stop calling me.

I had a fraud alert from Vystar and PayPal warning me that someone attempted to make a purchase on my debit card. I was out of town at the time and I didnt know about the notifications until hours later. Nevertheless, I Thanked GOD for not allowing them to steal from me!. I praise GOD for Vystar and PayPals Fraud Department denying the transaction! I am grateful to GOD they were not successful!! When I returned to town and went into the 34th Street branch I was warmly greeted as usual despite the fact that we are all in the path of Hurricane Milton! David Bully took the time to speak with me about the prevalence of fraud and things to do to reduce risk for it continuing.. He replaced my debit card while Haley Swanson processed the credit card application so that I begin to use the credit card rather than my debit card to reduce the risk of fraud. I appreciate the staff and team at Vystar! Whether I call into Jacksonville for help over the phone or go to the 34th Street branch, the team members are courteous and helpful. This is why I have remained a customer for the last 10+ years. Thank you for consistently being helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable to provide excellent service! It takes great leadership and humility to work with the public. Vystar has the right approach. By the way, although I was grateful the branch was open, I was so grateful it would close early so that the team could get home before the storm hit. Your people are your greatest resource. May GOD bless all of us to get through this storm!

I have used my local vystar (Ocala)for many things and are great. I found this branch while trying to get a car in Gainesville. The loan ended up having some issues with documentation after the approval. The entire staff worked past closing for me to get the loan done and check in hand to get my car on a Saturday!!! I m actually shocked at the dishonesty my mother & I experienced at the 34th street location in Gainesville, Fl. My mother s debit card was going to expire May 31st, 2024. For the last few weeks she has been expecting her replacement card to arrive, with no luck. Two weeks ago she went to VyStar to confirm that her address was correct and report that she had not received her new debit card. At that time, she was told that her debt card would be mailed the last week of the month. That is odd to me, since it gives you so little time to change your billing information, but what other choice would she have? So she waited and still, on the last day, she did not receive a card. Her and I went to VyStar to make a second inquiry. Here is the DISHONESTY part: my mom & walked inside, I ask the employee if they had a card printer, I was told no. I asked is any VyStar had a card printer and was told no. (I only asked because both of my financial institutions have them readily available). So then she asked for my mother s photo identification, mom gave her the driver s license and she walked away from the area. The employee then returned and asked was the address correct on the card, mom confirmed, & the employee left again. She returned and explained that my mom s address was flagged as bad so she could not be mailed anything. **Mind you, mom was there two weeks ago & no one told her this.** She explained that mom had been scheduled to speak with someone to remove the flag. We sat briefly & mom was called to the booth & sat with another employee. I overheard my mom being asked if she wanted to keep her card number or a new one & the employee left & returned. I believe she left & spoke with the same lady that told us VyStars don t have a card printer twice during this encounter. The employee then returned to report that the system was down to print the card now & that mom could return tomorrow, on Saturday morning, to retrieve her card. I was in the sitting area shocked! Like, why would you all lie about that? Not only the initial employee but the others that overheard the lie too? My mom questioned the second employee that she thought they didn t have a card printer. The reply was that they do not usually print cards, usually only in situations where there is fraud or it s the credit union s fault - such as no one notifying my mom that her address was flagged. My mom agreed to return the next morning. That just does not sit well with me. There was a way the initials employee or any other one who heard me ask about the machine could have responded- no need to lie. My mom is really such a sweet person & was being patient as she waited for her card. There was no reason to lie to her. If you all don t want to go through the process of printing cards, just say that- please don t LIE to customers. We could have went to another branch but we were told no VyStar had a card printing machine JUST to find out you did. What more could you all LIE about? What an uncalled for experience that this branch created for a customer. She returned today, 6/1/2024, to get her new card and spoke to a new person and she will be CHARGED $5 to replace the card. When it s not the fault of the customer it s supposed to be free! Not only have you all wasted her time and money (having to drive to you all three times), now she has to pay $5 to get a card from a machine that staff lied about having in the first place. Unacceptable!

10:33 Friday may 24th Haley was extremely disrespectful speaking to me and about me to her coworkers telling me she can t do anything about my account after being helped by a higher up I was able to resolve my issue but telling her coworkers that I probably don t remember my code as the reason I need a replacement card is absolutely unacceptable and deplorable on all counts. Ms Haley Swanson was absolutely amazing I came in for a financial checkup and she was very patient with me & my 2 year old son. She made sure to answer all of my questions & concerns. She even gave me her contact information in case I needed anything in the future since I have a hard time reaching any local branch. Thank you again for the outstanding customer service.

Every time I go to this branch the customer service is always amazing!!! I ve never had to wait more than 5 mins to be seen. All of my questions are always answered. I never have any problems. The employees are all amazing!! By far my favorite bank to visit!!

Miss Swanson was a blessing on this entire situation. Until recently, I had been a very big fan of the Credit union, until I had an issue with my debit card that seem to be kicked around and put on the back burner by everyone else. I was to the point where I went to the location to withdraw all my money and open an account elsewhere. However, after speaking with Miss Swanson and being able to get clear information and actually being helped to order a new debit card, she has restored my faith with the Gainesville VyStar. I normally do not bank with the Gainesville location however I was in the area at the time and once I was checked in, it was a matter of minutes before Miss Swanson was there to help me. She actually listened to the issue I was having and didn t try to pawn me off into calling the national account customer service. I am about 30 minutes from the closest local branch however I will drive the extra 15 to come see Miss Swanson again if I ever have an issue.

Because of a FRAUD CHARGE they decided to TAKE OUT AGAIN, I have been told to take my money and LEAVE. NEVER AGAIN. WORSE BANK IN FLORIDA. THE WORST BANK IN Gainesville Florida. Just ate my card in THEIR ATM. Since my last one didnt quite show up, Ill leave another. Vystar Gainesville 34th St branch is the worst. Now, I am attempting to call and cant get through. I dislike going inside the bank yet everytime I have a problem I have to drive there and try and get it taken care of. I truly dont like this particular Bank but, I cant just go take my SS check out if the direct deposit. Please, Vystar, get it together in Gainesville Florida. Went through the drive thru and they were so slow, I asked for my card back. The ATM didnt work so, I thought Id go through drive thru. Soon as possible, Ill be leaving this ridiculous establishment.
