I’ve been banking with Florida Credit Union for close to 17 years , and I love banking here! They are always fast, reliable and efficient!! My favorite teller is Kristen!! She’s always smiling, friendly and so very caring! She will come out from behind her computer and physically help a customer when she sees them struggling with a transaction!! It’s such a beautiful thing to see there are still genuinely good people in the world!! Kristen is certainly one of them!!! Keep that beautiful smile Kristen… let your light keep shining!!

I absolutely love Kelly Sullivan. She is the only reason I joined Florida Credit Union. She has helped me with various financial needs. Kelly always goes above and beyond to assist as much as possible. She has an infectious smile and most friendly personality and the most wonderful customer service skill set I have ever encountered. I have been very familiar with FCU since my childhood. A majority of my relatives are members, which is how I became a member eight years ago. Throughout the years, I have visited and familiarized myself with every FCU location in Gainesville. From asking all kinds of questions, to applying for loans, to recently re-financing my vehicle, I’ve received exceptional service from the loan officers that have assisted me- specifically at this location. I encouraged my partner to join FCU November of last year. They had been nothing but satisfied with their FCU experience in such a short time, until today. After checking in and being summoned by the loan officer, Ciera, my partner and I quickly grew uncomfortable. Cieras body language screamed with hostility. She was sighing heavily and smacking her teeth in annoyance. When my partner asked Ciera questions regarding their concerns, she responded with vague phrases like, “Maybe”, “That’s just how it is” and, “I don’t know what to tell you.” We left extremely dissatisfied and ended up figuring out the situation on our own.

I am a new member with Florida Central. I worked directly with Jaclyn Day. She was so kind and very knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered with patience and reassurance. Originally, I applied for a standard checking and saving account. However, she offered to help me refinance my vehicle along with a starter credit card. I was approved for cheaper payments and a lower interest rate which is amazing compared to what I was paying at my previous financial institution. I will recommend anybody looking for a credit union to use Florida Central and Jaclyn as their advisor. I learned a lot about refinance and how credit works just in a short period of time working with her that I will carry on with me in the future. I will keep in contact with her throughout my time with my new bank. Thank you so much again Jaclyn love you girl!!!!!!

Horrible customer service skills over the phone. This company tried to send a zero balance account to collections and claimed I have debt, but would not provide me proof. Do not sign up for a free account to get the free $150 especially if you re a teacher because they try to scam you.

This company is garbage. I often get transactions declined due to fraud alerts . I can go to Orlando and spend money with no issues, but on my return trip back to home I get declined at gas stations and other stores due to fraud alerts . When I bring this to FLCU s attention they say I have to contact my bank and set up my allowances. Like they are my parents and I have to ask to spend my money. Tonight, 6/13, I tried to do an internet transaction and it was declined 2 times, not due to lack of funds but, drumroll yeah a fraud alert. Your bank sucks and I will be seeking other arrangements soon.

4 stars Cuz nobody believes the 5s. Lol This review applies to all the branches. The thing I appreciate most is that even though Im a small (very small) depositor the staff Never makes me feel that way. I was scammed out of $147, which resulted in a cascade of overdraft fees and vendor penalties. Cancelation of the card locked up what little money I had left. With a few keystrokes, a sympathetic ear, and a couple of kleenex, they made me whole. And earned my undying loyalty. P.S. things are better now. Im actually a thousandaire!

I just out of This, UNFORTUNATE, location for the 2nd time.1st off the 2 ladies sitting in front 2 Cubicles to the right(9:10am) were just gossiping outside conversations. I went to sign in. I still had to Wait a few minutes before the 2nd cubicle woman to come to service me as what is getting paid to do. Perhaps, more education Needed amongst the staff. It is Wiser If the staff do not comprehend, or the duty to be conducted is over their pay grade ,that it is WISE to refer to someone whom is knowledgeable of such particular matters. In which the teller did NOT Succeed at accurately following the directions which was requested. Unfortunately, a New form has be resubmitted. Wish for the best service in the future GOD Bless you All.

I have been banking with FLCU for about 12 years at the Gainesville location. I recently went back to the 13th street location where I use to go to years ago. I seen a representative named Kelly S. that I use to go to all the time when I was struggling to make it through nursing school as a single mom. I went to Kelly about 3 years ago for a loan to help pay my tuition for school. I was so embarrassed and shame but she never made me feel that way. She always made me feel comfortable. I recently went back in the bank at that location after not being there for years and I seen Kelly and all types of emotions came over me. I had to stop her and let her know I made it through nursing school and I have been a successful nurse for about 3 years. I was so thankful for her and FLCU giving me the opportunity to pay for school through their loan. Thank you Kelly for your kind words and your compassion you have for people. Melina Seoane with Member Services changed my life! I found myself underwater with small little debt that I had lost control over. In my eyes I thought this will forever haunt me (no catching up) until I sat down with Melina. She carefully went over my account with me and explained how this doesn t have to take over my life. How to take it under control. Without going into details, I quickly found out that debt doesn t have to control your life! After explaining my different options, I realized it wasn t as bad as I thought. The biggest step was to sit down with my knowledgeable credit advisor to explain certain things I was overlooking (do s and don t a with my money). I can actually breathe again, sleep again! Rest my nerves! All because of Melina! You re the best! A lifesaver (literally)!! Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to enjoy and see where my money is going! Florida Credit Union continues to go above and beyond for all of my needs. I ve been with them since 2017 and it was one of the best decisions I ve ever made. My family and I have been members of FCU for over 5 decades. Since the office was next to the old APS on University Avenue. We have always had good service. But most recently, we have experienced extraordinary customer service with one of your universal tellers, named Kristen. She has been amazing, patient and helpful with my mom and me. My mom will soon be 85 and having someone assist her with courtesy, patience and respect is a breath of fresh air in a world of hustle and bustle with impersonal computers at every turn. Kristen showing the personal touch should be heralded and is a lost art.. it sets a standard for all to emulate!

When talking to Kelly Sullivan I walked in not knowing what I was gonna get but walked out with one of the best deals of my life she helped me out so much with getting what I needed and wanted she helped lower my bill for my car and Even get me a Credit card! I came to FLCU for an auto loan. I worked with Mrs. Kelly Sullivan who went above and beyond to help me get approved for the car I wanted. She even stayed late to help me close the deal on my car. During the process I did get a bit frustrated but Mrs. Sullivan assured me that all would be well and I would get my car. She was very patient with me during every single phone call and visit to the bank. I have never experienced such awesome customer service from any bank that I ve ever done business with. I ll definitely be back to FLCU for any of my loan needs. If you need help with an auto loan, home loan, or just simply opening a bank account stop by the 13th St branch and talk with Mrs. Sullivan. Came into the credit union to join and also to apply for a loan. Knew of Florida Credit Union from various friends and Associates who had membership here. The building has always looked clean and professionally maintained. Apply for a loan, Jaclyn Day was my representative, shes very professional, she had a vast amount of skill, product knowledge, great salesman ship with no pressure or stress, skill and knowledge and comparing various financial products. Jaclyn Day made the loan very pleasant she explain everything thoroughly and in detail. After going over everything she reviewed it one more time and closed out with his summary and ensure that I had no questions and that I understood everything. I have been in the banking business and the financial world for many years. Jaclyn Day is a credit to the Florida Credit Union organization and shes one of the most knowledgeable people that I would recommend anyone to go to if you need a loan or have any problems or issues. I am a happy customer literally in tears of joy. Thank you K. MCCARTER Times has been so hard for me financially & unexpected things happen at my lowest. Had suspicious activities on my account & my cards had to be cancel and I was told I couldn t get a card because I owed a balance on a personal loan. For two to three weeks added stress not having my card. So today I went in to withdraw money from my account having to be told I can t because of the balance due on my personal loan & I didn t get angry I just too hurt my heart was aching and I held back tears while having a convo with the teller wanting my money. Another employee her name is (in all caps) K. McCARTER ask me mam what are you wanting to do, tell me what s going on? I said mam I just want my money and I m being told I can t and I can t have a card. She says hold on. Just know when she came back on the screen she said what do you want your pin to be .I m so thankful for her and need more employees like her that has a heart and make things happen. Thank you MS. MCCARTER. My God bless you and may he supply all your needs according to his riches and glory.
