Absolutely a joke when it comes to offers from their special "tech" employees. Avoid the place since all they do is waste time and low ball you tremendously. Go to locally owned pawn shops..not some over priced scrub place like them. Avoid selling your gaming electronics to them . They will give you such a low offer just to re sale at brand new price. Also it takes them 3 minutes to assist you while they sit in the back and gossip as they have a whole line of people waiting. Such professional worker's .

They are not the store they use to be. They use to be my go to gun store when I wanted to sell my guns. They always gave me a great deal, or we negotiated til a fair deal was reach. Been there twice here recently and each time they would low ball me on the guns. Will not even negotiate anymore and if you view your disappointment they ask you to leave. The two times I went there I dealt with employees that are not experienced in guns and call a manager to give me a quote. Deals are made face to face with the product in the hands of an experienced person that knows what he is looking at and can give you a fair price or will negotiate with you. They use to do that. Now an inexperienced employee calls the manager and will not negotiate with you. Will never return to this place. There are so many other gun store out they willing to do you good.

This place has gone downhill since Andrew took over. $30 loan on a $140 controller. Been supporting them since before he came over from the Mary Esther, when Sean was the manager. It's just gone downhill. Will NOT be supporting them from this point forward. Waste of time even taking them products for a loan. I absolutely love Dan's! I always feel welcomed and the staff are amazing. I love to shop for jewelry and appliances. The manager Shane and his assistant manager are wonderful. Jolie is very sweet and helpful. There are other employees that are just as wonderful but I don't know their names just friendly faces. They also have layaway which is awesome! Shout out to all my peeps at Dan's keep up the the good work.

Went to pawn my tv with the remote control to them and when I went to pick up my tv they lost my remote control to my tv and then going to tell me that I didn t bring in my belongings to what I had please make sure you record the items you take there they will lose them horrible service the worst place I ve ever been too please watch your belongings they will steal them

the new manager and new staff have ruined this store. nothing like standing at a counter for 15 minutes while 5 employees just stand around looking at you and not saying a word. Blows my mind that a store would let money walk out the door by way of NOT browsers but would be customers. Went in and stood by the gun counter with two other gentleman wanting to purchase, no one acknowledged we were there at all (all be it they were busy but not even a simple acknowledgment). Another guy walks in and straight the check out and was getting helped, so I walked over and let them know we three were also waiting and well we also walked out with our money after the child like manager started talking. Vote with your money folks rude people cant pay bills when you do.

Absolutely horrible experience. I had my tools in pawn the day the pawn was up they called me and we scheduled for me to come in the following Monday to pay on it. That Monday morning I talked to them and said I d be there after work. When I got there they had already sold my tools,(or lied about selling it) and left me standing there speechless. Totally rude about it also. I despise that place and will never allow my family or friends to do business with them again. They re crooks

This place is absolutely the worst. I have done lots of business with them and and yet they still treat me like garbage. Ive been in there 2 different times where Ive been in a tough spot needing to get money for some of the items I have. And they would not even look at the items because they were new which makes no sense whatsoever to me as I would rather pawn something new Then something old. But because my item is new they treat me like Im a thief. I had received an item as a gift that was not compatible with what it was purchased for and they treated me as though I had stolen the item because I did not have a receipt I dont have a receipt I dont know how many people get receipts with their birthday gifts so if you plan on pawning anything dont go to dan

Worst pawn shop in town. With 14k gold prices at 32. And change per a gram. They gave 40.00 on 2.5 grams. That s 80 bucks worth of gold. They only gave half price for. So they are taking advantage of the little guy. What happened to decent service. I ll never use this place again. What else s are they under paying for and making a killing resealing?

My wife called Friday evening to pay on her layaway the manager Joely was very rude. Joely didnt have the knowledge to be in such position. Joely told my wife that she could not pay that she was to late and that it was a 33% restock fee and she could spend the rest inside of the store. So I called back Saturday and I ask to speak with a manager the young lady tells me o yeah I heard about what happened if you bring me $150 you will be good. I ask so why was the issue so complicated before. She was like Im not sure I wasnt here very bad customer service after my layaway is over with I will no longer deal with this business.

This used to be a great store to find decent firearm deals for good prices. However, for the past two years or so it gone down big time. Sure they remodeled the inside and now it looks more modern and clean. However, thats the only real positive thing about this store. I dont even go there anymore, because their product veriaty is almost zero. Store always looks empty as it got recently robbed. I dont know if they had a change of management or whatnot, but I just wish owners would do something about it to bring back its old charm. Otherwise, I wouldnt be surprised if it goes out of business if it continues with its current rythm.

I went to this store twice each time I left without being asked if I needed help and basically ignored . All I wanted to do was look at their laptops which i never got to do because its behind the counter on the wall . Stood around for over 25mins . Been here numerous times and the service is always great, but the last time I visited to pawn a saw, I was assisted by a woman named Justelle, and she was incredibly helpful. She was friendly and went the extra mile to help me, even though I came in shortly closing time.

Bunch of crooks went for an $800 loan on my 63 Gibson es335 they would only give me 300 so due to financial trouble took the loan. Unfortunately lost the pawn from being incarcerated when I got out they had the guitar for sale for $10000 which was a bit high but knowing what it was worth they low balled me knowing i was in need of the cash the guitar was worth 6000 and they couldnt even part with 800 i wouldnt give no stars if possible

They have a good layaway. But for pricing items they pull the ebay card and tried showing me an item that sold for $5 and the shipping was $250 GTFOH with $5 I know the value. I don t haggle at pawn stores I leave. I ain t got time for games. Time is money.

I usually do a lot of business with Dan s but today they lost me as a customer! I will never shop there again! I waited in there ten minutes to be helped and every associate walked passed me instead of helping me. An associate even called out more people from the back and no one would help me! I will shop there again! And for the one associate that looked at me crazy, never judge a book by its cover. I was going to purchase a TV and to cameras, I had money to spend but you were more worried about hanging out with your home boy!

Dan s Discount in Fort Walton Beach, has wonderful customer service. I have bought many items from there and each time they always say Hi to me when I come in, they take the time to talk to you, they take the time to explain things about the item that they are selling, they are very knowledgeable about the items that they sell. The staff is so kind, when I come in with my kids they always restart the cartoon movies on the big screen, so they can also have a pleasant visit too. I would highly recommend this place to other people! The store is also neat and tidy and it is also very organized!

Dans is the number one pawn shop in Fort Walton Beach. Ive gotten into a tight spot a time or two and everytime Ive went to them they provided me with what I needed, no low balling like cash america, not to mention the customer service sucks. Being a regular customer at the FWB location, I was very happy to see a Dans in Crestview! Going in there I saw many familiar faces that made me feel at home. awful. treated me like i had know idea what i was doing and when asked how much i paid for something that i bought at the store they asked why i would pay that much for something. the guy who helped me is jr. I traded in a 300 peavey amp that was 2 years old but to them that was really old since there was dust on it and only ended up getting 20$ will tell everyone not to go there

First and last time I try to sell/pawn anything here. Waste of my time.... Called before driving down. Was told over the phone, that they could probably get close to the amount I was needing. Anyone can walk into a pawn shop anywhere in the world, but the difference is at Dans I wasnt just an anyone. The first moment of the first day I walked in I felt welcomed in their store. Even better than getting top dollar for the item I pawned or all the super cool things they sell, I was treated with the kind of courtesy a lot of stores in America have unfortunately lost sight of these days. When a customer enters a store, especially a pawn shop, you never truly know their situation, how their day has been, or what hardships they may be facing right before they walk in, so often times its the friendly smiles and conversations of a good staff that can really change a persons day around for the better, even almost as much as the cash. Every time Ive been into Dans, whether to pawn or purchase, by the time I leave Im always a happy customer. Not only am I always treated well, but Ive also watched how they treat other guests in their store and its always the same excellence to everyone all across the board. As a honorable military veteran who spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy serving overseas, it feels good to know that kind of customer courtesy and friendliness still exist in our country. Again, their inventory is awesome and they are always more than fair with the pawn amounts, but its that above and beyond customer service and courtesy that keeps me returning to no one else, but Dans Pawn right here in Fort Walton Beach. SERIOUSLY READ THIS! My name is Nick Horton and I own studio 20 in Destin. I bought a surround sound system for my dance studio a few weeks ago from DANS and needed to exchange it for something a little different. Usually if you bring something back to a pawn shop its a hassle. NOT THE CASE WITH THESE GUYS! Emi was working the day I came in and she literally went out of her way to get me the sound system I needed. i looked everywhere for this SPECIFIC set up required (small TV, surround sound that can play DVDs and CDs but loud and bassy for a good price) to run my studios sound and nobody had what I was looking for. Emi though, made it work and it was all quality gear!! All SONY and amazing working condition! Ok, I Have been through a lot of pawn shops over the years and this staff is absolutely AMAZING! Not just Emi but ALL those guys AND there merchandise! I bought a guitar and a TV from them a few months ago and they hooked me up with a deal. They are nice to my little girl when I bring her in, just all around good experience! I plan on buying my gun from them in a few weeks. Fans discount pawn always has a big selection of electronics, computers, guns, the and DVDs. They offer great service and good value on their products. Free layaway is a big plus too! Love Dans !

The best pawn shop in town! I have always had great experiences when I go to dans. They know me and my family and know us by name. I have bought everything from a surf board, tablets,DVDs ,and much more from them. Always good prices and when you do have to pawn something they take good care of your stuff and give you the best price for it. Its now the only pawn shop I goto.

B. Taylor, Had never been in Dans until a few weeks ago. I was extremely impressed with the staff, the facility, and the overall layout of the store. However, what I was absolutely impressed with was the employees. They treated me like family! When I enter the store now Im on a first name basis with them.

my experience at Dans was amazing me my dad and my brother loved it we just could not stop looking at all of their cool stuff me and my brother both said that we would want our dad to go their for all of our Christmas and birthday shopping we want to go again so badly. it was just amazing that i dont even have words for it.

First visit today. Its the cleanest nicest pawn shop Ive ever been in. I was just looking around at first. But then I did have some questions about the 1Aug Glock sale. Employees were very helpful. Took two guns out of case for me to compare even though he knew I wasnt going to buy. I will probably go back tomorrow for the sale and will probably make a buy.

Customer service is above any others in the area. They offer great prices on products and even when you pick up a pawn you are able to pay with debit card. This is completely unheard of anywhere. I rate the customer service 10 out 10. Great place to go and I would recommed to anyone.

Overpriced. Wont negotiate to reasonable prices. Typical high pressure Used Car Salesman mentality. Dont waste your time. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I bought a brand new in the box iPad mini from this store. I bought the one with cellular and was so excited to go get it set up, I went to Verizon - and they told me that the iPad is still connected to the account of the previous owner! So I was sold an iPad that I couldnt hook cellular to! This pawn shop does not require that they call to see if cell phones and ipads are connected to accounts - This is a complete scam, so when you get home and connect it all of a sudden it wont work because its still connected to someones account!!! This is terrible customer service, this business should be required to check these iPads and iPhones... I am so disappointed and will no longer be returning to this store for ANYTHING.

First of all, let me say it takes a lot for me to write a review. But the customer service that I received from Jeff when purchasing a CZ over under deserves praise. Jeff was was able to sell me a great gun while negotiating with me on the price to work with my budget. He allowed me to walk away from the shop with a beautiful shotgun at a great price. He was more than willing to answer all my questions and went the extra mile to work with me. Because of him, I will be a customer at Dans for life!!!
