Grieco Ford of Fort Lauderdale

I'm not a young man and have purchased many cars, but I have to say the service department is the worst one I have ever dealt with, not to mention all the discounts my wife was supposed to get and they fought us tooth and nail on getting them. But this review is about their lack of service, two times. Here are the problems, do not use their service department:

1. It took 4 hours with appointments for a simple oil change and tire rotation and couldn't get it right and needed two trips to fix.
2. Leaking oil of almost a quart of oil after service
3. 4 tire rotation instead of 5 recommended by Ford
4. Wiper fluid cap was not placed back on and left open
5. Dipstick was halfway out, causing oil to leak and spray oil
6. Oil spray in engine wasn't properly cleaned up after spraying all over
7. Spare tire had Low tire pressure and wasn't checked properly
8. No car wash after oil sprayed all over? Unbelievable.
9. No offer to comp our time for inconveniences

This kind of service should not be endorsed by Ford or Grieco headquarters and Grieco Ford should be ashamed of their poor performance. We will never use them again for service and of course, never for sales. Proof is in the pictures. Incredible.

No one is held accountable. I have been a manager, owner and boss and I would have fired the person that serviced the vehicle and certainly gone after the Service Manager for not solving the problem. Let's see if a canned answer without accountability or resolve happens by some PR person as there is no resolve and probably won't be.

The guy were very nice collecting my Navigator. The service manager was extremely personable he's a car guy so we talked cars until work got in the way. Lol
The dealership is clean and the staff is very efficient. They did a complete brake job including rotors.i could have had it back the same day but I was having my pavers sealed an preferred not to have it sitting outside my gate. Alex was more than happy to hang on to it for another day.

I was here about a few months back to purchase my first car and by far it was the worst experience ever I had been doing research for the longest on this car. I was very excited and I went into the dealer because they had exactly wanted the salesman helping me was Edward but he never disclosed that the car had been driven by the general manager . I signed for a car that had “15 miles”. Took the car home. Everything was fine up until later that night when I was gonna go out again in the car, I looked at the dash and see if the odometer read 600 miles. I called the dealer back and they told me that he never told me 15 miles that when he went to go put gas in the car for me it read 90 miles. I told him that 600 is still a big jump. So the next morning I took the car back, spoke to the manager, and that’s when they disclosed that the car had been driven by the general manager. They gave me three options. They’d either buy out the mileage for me, exchange me for another car, or I could just simply turn in the car. I went with options to return the car because the trust was already broken. I did not trust them or want to do any Business with them. I think that they should really disclose with their customers if the cars have been driven by any of the managers or whoever. I would never return back to the dealer, nor would I recommend the dealer to anyone else.

Had a really great experience here with Cole as our sales person, we looked at 3 F250s which were all amazing. Although still deciding on making my purchase decision. Just wanted to thank the team for being very nice and helpful, Cole is very knowledgeable on the vehicles. We also had forgot a bag in the back seat of one of the trucks and had to go back. The manager Ray went out of his way to check the vehicles and find our bag. Colleen was very helpful on the phone and was great communicating with us. Thanks again Grieco Ford team!

We purchased our MachE here, plus have a Lincoln that weve taken here for service. For the purchase, the sales rep, after the sale, showed us how to plug it in to charge it and thats it. None of the other features were explained or even mentioned. The service department has been horrible, at least the last 2 or 3 years. The only time Ive taken the MachE in they couldnt figure out the issue with Sync, the rep acted like I was wasting his time. Months later the problem went away, presumably after a software update. The last time we took the Lincoln in, they called and gave a quote for the repairs, then when we picked it up said it needed additional repairs, which they did, for $700 more than what they had quoted. Next time, were probably driving to Plantation instead of dealing with these people.

Beware !!!! *************UPDATE 11.5.24************** LISA O is the best service person in the world. Anytime I have an issue with my car, she is there. She coordinates rides to and from my house for me. My schedule is bananas, so even in the middle of the night or super early in the morning, I know I can count on Lisa to make sure I get the help I need. I purchased break pads for my truck a while ago from the ford website, I didn t know exactly which ones I needed, so I inserted my VIN to make sure I get the right ones. I purchased the ones recommended by the Ford website, and sure enough I went to install them, and they are the wrong ones I was told to come to this dealership and drop them off for a refund, and so I did. The people in the parts department had no interest in helping me, almost like it was a problem they didn t want to deal with, they refused to give me a refund, or even receipt of accepting the break pads. I have been dealing with ford corporate since, they keep telling me that the refund should be any day now for over a year. I reached out once again the other day to find out what the status is. They got back to me today and by telling me that the dealership has to deal with it essentially telling me to F off. It seems to me this is the type of service to be expected if you shops here.

I am disturbed at Grieco ford service department. I dropped my car off here a week ago and have to get it towed away. Jeff isner doesn t help and doesn t care about anything but money. They don t know about the car and I brought it from there at grieco ford. It s also been a week and my truck isn t fixed all they want to do is charge 200 an hour for diagnostics just to not have my car fixed. There s been days where they claimed nobody was available to work on my truck now I don t even know if anybody is working on my truck so I m forced to have it towed somewhere else to be worked on because I need it for work and ford here is not helping.

I ll start off by saying I Dropped a 2016 F150 off to Grieco ford Fort Lauderdale to get the truck fixed it has been there a week now. I ve told them I use the truck for work but they don t care so I m getting my truck towed away from there now. First they only care about money and they ll do things to make sure they get the most money out of you for your car being worked on. I spoke with Jeff Isner and the service manager Chris. Jeff isner told me I needed a new battery so I offered to bring a new battery and place it in myself so it would be cheaper he said no I couldn t do that I have to do it with them. I never knew I couldn t replace my own battery that s insane. They charge 200 for the battery. Also I needed a key programmed so I said I d have someone come program a new key because they tried to charge 400 dollars plus tax for 1 key and programming when I could get 2 keys programmed cheaper. They re also trying to charge me 200 dollars an hour for diagnostic checks on my truck and my truck been there a week this still can t get it fixed. I am disappointed considering I got the truck from there. I can t even get clear answers for the problems my truck is having. Jeff isner will say things along the lines of I don t know what s wrong with your truck, I don t have an answer and don t know when I will have an answer, or I don t have anybody to work on your truck 1 technician is out. The service here is horrible I wouldn t recommend anybody to take their car here.

Finance Department has no integrity at all. We had a great experience with the salesman, Justin, selecting a new 2024 Ford Expedition for my husband s 50th birthday - highly recommend him. But - the finance department pulled a bait and switch move with the contract. Do not esign documents at this dealership! They will not match your hard copy documents. It is disappointing to go to a reputable dealership and be taken advantage of and ruin what was an exiting purchase for us.

My wife brought my car in with a bad battery. We purchased the battery at Grieco less than six months ago. The service rep tried to charge her for a new battery even though the battery had a 36 month warranty. When she said it was under warranty he told her it is a 13 year old car so it was out of warranty. He clearly thought he could talk down to her because she was a woman. When she pointed out that the battery was indeed under warranty he was very rude, but of course realized she was right. Outrageously bad customer service.

One star. Every shady sales practice you can think of, every dirty sales trick you can Google, and the absolute pinnacle of pitchery... All in one place. I used to think Rick Case was the absolute worst, and now.... Ehhhh Rick Case is still the absolute worst. Theres a special place reserved for the sales teams that slum it at a Rick Case dealership, but listen, Griecos sales teams arent much better. Theyre just a tiny bit classier, like they havent been beaten down by life so hard that theyre chain smoking five packs a day and are mentally running credit scores on every pulse that walks by. Mmmm ok maybe that IS what its like at Grieco. But seriously if you understand sales or have any training at all, these guys are about as hardcore as it gets. Full aggression, ABC, brass balls, the whole nine. Youll see every technique and even witness a few new ones. Theyre real, real thirsty and it shows. But it doesnt have to be that way - Ive been to plenty of car stealerships that dont cause cancer. Grieco Ford isnt one of them though. So dont get cancer. Or hepatitis. Or toxoplasmosis. Or a car. At least not here. Hardest of passes.

Scrolling down the comments. Its just not me who was treated horrible. They showed me the WRONG car then tried to SHAME me and tell me I need to buy the car before I leave the dealership or its gone. They also did a hard pull on my credit report using the WRONG CAR. Females beware. Needless to say not only will they not have my money but they will also be hearing from my attorney and the better business. Im sure this is not what the GREICO family had in mind. Bad business and thank gawd there are dealerships. I will look elsewhere. The entire GREICO dealerships are the same in DELRAY.

I was dismayed when I heard about my good fried Carltons treatment by the folks at Greico Ford. He thought he bought a great car, but found out later it had many issues he was unaware of. After he had to make multiple repairs, he reached out for help. Unfortunately for my friend, the manager was not willing to help in any way, and even treated my friend rudely. I would never make a purchase here because of my friend s terrible experience.

The worst customer service was not from Fort Lauderdale Ford but from Delray Ford in the city of Delray Beach they trick me by making me put down 12,000 down on a cargo van and my credit was like 694 none of it went towards the van they pocket the money and I was stuck with van that cost $77,000 monthly payments almost 1,7000 a month I ended up surending the van because I couldnt keep up with it. It caused me to get backed up on my utility bills.

Cant find words. Most Ford dealership have a waiting list when it comes to service. Here at this dealership once I reach out to Lisa in service, the reply is drop it off when you can. Communication thats on another level...she keeps you updated as to where things are with your repair. To be honest one must experience her service for themselves. Like its said theres to many to mention and I might still forget more to be said...Just Damn good service thats all.

I did not trust them or want to do any Business with them. I think that they should really disclose with their customers if the cars have been driven by any of the managers or whoever. I would never return back to the dealer, nor would I recommend the dealer to anyone else.

Well brought a car in for brakes. Was still under warranty. When the car was given back, the breaks still squeaked. New brakes were suppose to be put in. A few months after the car was out of warranty I took the car to mavis for tires and my ftiend who works there said i needed new brakes. Got the car back and it braked completely different and no more squeak. These guys,at Grieco will jeopardize your welfare and yes you to death. I will never use them again.

I had a lot of bad experiences with other Ford dealerships, but a friend recommended Grieco Ford in Fort Lauderdale. Even though its farther from me, it was worth the trip. My overall experience after purchasing a vehicle from Greico. I felt taken advantage of, they used funky sales tactics, added alot of extra fees, and rushed me to buy. Typical dealership stuff. So far my vehicle is o.k but I definitely felt like I couldve gotten a better deal elsewhere.

Deception at its best. Wow, just lies and fake prices. Spoke with a salesperson from their advertised price and finance terms. Got to the dealer and it was all lies and deception. I was willing to pay their advertised price as well but they raised it &5000 n lol, they wanted to charge $400 for wheel locks. You can get them from their own parts department for $63.

Sold us a car that they said theyd certify but could not at the moment because the team was gone for the day, took our money, then refused to certify the car. They likely had no authority to promise us certification but knew we wouldn t buy it uncertified. Salesman and finance guy were both shady. Would not do business with them again or recommend them to anyone.

Ive been going to this dealership for years and had a couple of hiccups here and there, but overall, a decent place. At my last visit, my service guy, John Carter, took good care of me by explaining what I needed and what I didnt need it at the time of service, which most people do not do.
