I found Auto Buy online and received a call from Janet who was very helpful and able to answer my questions. She set up an appointment for me within the hour at the auto buy on Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. I drove over and was immediately greeted by Mark. He was very friendly and was able to assess my car with an appraisal with in 30 minutes after arriving. The appraisal was competitive with other Buyers that I had visited. 3 1/2 years ago, absolutely the MAX. Two cars since then, not so much. This last car $3500 lower. They want you to bring back higher bid in writing from elsewhere, twice the winning company would not give me the bid in writing but they paid better anyway.

I came in after CarMax dropped my offer 1k and that was just not acceptable. Mark was extremely helpful and was able to beat CarMax. He took care of my and made sure the business office moved expeditiously so I can get back to work. 10/10- could not recommend more! Carmax lowered their offer on me by $1k so I brought the offer here and Mark immediately went to work and the very next morning he beat CarMax! Extremely transparent, very professional, made the experience more pleasant than I thought it would be. There was a miscommunication and the sale got delayed but they still honored their offer and kept the whole situation going smoothly. Big thanks to Mark for his efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and for walking me through the process on his day off, Robert for being direct, problem solving and being understanding of the situation, and James for staying later then their operating hours to accommodate my working schedule.

Honestly, it was a sweet experience, after get few offers I realized, I dont want to spend a month or a week to find the best offer. Offer, Mark gave me was one of the best ones, they wrote me a check and I deposited the same day, waiting for money to come tomorrow or Monday. This place is no stress. I came to get an Appraisal for my car for the first time in Autobuy office. James kindly took care of my car. Soon James and Robert informed me about condition of my car, what issues it has and what can be done in my situation as I have a loan for this car. I was pleasantly surprised that they gave indeed higher price for my 2016 car than other car buying companies. Also as I came in without an appointment I had to wait a little line there, the weather was raining and windy, traffic everywhere, so I comfortably sat in the chair watching TV and they provided me with some snacks and water.
