I stopped into the Achieva credit Union branch located on Belcher Road in Clearwater. Itβs Friday afternoon and I was able to get in and make a deposit with East. Kim was very helpful. Reviewed my account gave me some extra benefits information. Made sure I was aware of the services that Achieva offers. Great experience. Welcoming atmosphere. Bank associates are very friendly and helpful always. They offer beverages in the lobby and are always helping out the local schools and nonprofit options for donations. Supporting their community. if you are looking for a new bank, I recommend Achieva. I am relatively new with them but have loved their service since I opened accounts over six months ago.

Between 2008 and 2014 while living in the Clearwater area, I opened an account here. I thought I had closed my account when I moved but in 2018 I received a letter from Achieva that stated I still had an account and ask if I wanted to keep it or close it. I was very surprised and since my mom still lives here I asked her to go and speak to someone at a branch on my behalf. Well suffice it to say, I kept my account. Iβve been able to do all my banking through the app while living in Texas, New York and Virginia! Iβm currently in Clearwater now helping my mom and weβve gone to this branch on many occasions and have received excellent service. Very friendly and courteous staff!

I went by to use the ATM at this location. And this Clearwater location is the main branch I have been going to for a good long time. I would encourage anyone to have Achieva Credit Union as being their Bank or their financial advisors. Even though employees stay for a while or move along Achieva always seems to have employees that truly care about the customer. Which goes a very far way with me and it's something I look for. I have seen countless times when I've gone to visit where an Achieva employee bend over backwards three times over if need be to solve a problem or to assist a customer until they can either find someone who has the answer. Or they are able to direct the individual to the resource needed to fix the problem. Overall Achieva Credit Union is a very wonderful company to have is your credit union / Bank. I truly do feel like I am treated as family and sometimes is a big brother when I go to the bank. Walk inside and say hello with a response from the employees that always brings a smile to my face. They'll take unlimited $25 fees from you for scheduled payments using your checking number, they call this courtesy pay. Which means if you don't have money in your account, even for a few hours, they will indeed overdraft your account to take their fee money and your bill will go completely unpaid. This will happen cause they'll hold deposits from your account for too long, take forever to transfer your funds and their very few free ATMS are always down. Online banking goes offline for maintenance ALOT! they make a TON of money with Mastercard by exclusively using them for your checking accounts and they make even more by their fee schedule! If you have fraudulent charges they will always take days to rectify them, you will also get no empathy in particular from their staff such as the Assistant manager at this drew st. branch Cortia, as she will look at your charges to justify that she will Not refund fees Achieva charges you. She told me since my family went to a Sushi restaurant this week shes not gonna refund even 1 of the multiple $25 fees (assessed by Achieva) for funds not being in my account for 3 hours. You can bank with Chime instead. they take no fees from you and are FDIC insured with 60k atms, youll get an account number, a debit card and a savings account. They're leagues more advanced than places like Achieva Credit Union if you're just a single person or family who needs a checking account and savings account without paying out of pocket so they can provide you terrible condescending service and stale coffee.

Cortia the Assistant Manager from the drew street branch was the meanest, rudest person I've ever dealt with from Achieva in 14 years. My family is out a lot of money cause of this credit unions fees and a major technical issue, she was so unbelievably condescending and never offered to help with anything. Imagine getting 5 $25 fees from your bank then all your credit cards charging you $30 a piece that your bank gets as well. Closing my account over this cause my husband and I can not forgive this level of carelessness.

Have had an account for 3 years here now. I get monthly mailed paper statements. Therefore, I have never had to sign into my account online. I decide to enroll in paperless. Trying to sign in with my correct username/password on the first try, I get; "Account sign in disabled." I confirm everything online they need, with regard to my personal information, account number, etc., and they still won't unlock the sign in. Now I have to call them. Seriously? Just because I've never signed in for quite awhile, you're going to disable the account sign in? I've NEVER had this problem my other banks, Wells Fargo or BOA.

Spoke with Terry from call center two days ago absolutely hands down one of the most passive aggressive disrespectful pepole Ive dealt with. I would not recommend banking here as costumer service is horrible.

Going in to close accounts today. Horrible service, few locations, ATM always out of order. I banked with a credit union in Wisconsin for over 20 years and loved it. Achieva needs to get its act in order.

I have been with this location for many years, in fact since it was Teachers CU. I don t typically use this account but needed to come in to reset my PIN number. This young man Alex was superb! Friendly, efficient, super helpful & very pleasant! Achieva, you did great hiring this man!

went there today to open an account had all my paperwork. The lady that was taking care of me asked for an utility bill. I asked why she said confirm my address when I had an government document. They seem very rude at this locating I wont go back.

Have normally always a trusted achieva with my financial information and helping me make the best financial decision to carry on with life like anyone else would need to however I went here on the 11th for some help on acquiring us some kind of loan for a new roof with my house the guy that we and my wife spoke to recommended that we get a HELOC although the woman on the phone that he was talking to seemed like she was concerned like we didnt even qualify just yet for it because of our newish home loan that we just got eight months ago that we just acquired well it didnt go through I have a hard pull on my credit and now anytime I try to go about trying to get another loan so I can get this roof done theyre curious about the hard pull for a second mortgage cuz thats what it looks like to them so definitely would not trust achieva at this location again I just cant its too much on the line Have yet to find someone to approve me for a loan for my new roof I have until April 2nd to get this done I have no idea what happens if I dont I lose my insurance not sure what achieval is going to do since theyre the ones that own the house loan as well..............

FIX YOUR ATM!!!! Ive wasted tons of gas coming to this ATM to try to cash checks in the past. Usually I drive farther to the Pinellas park one, cuz their ATM is more efficient. Ive asked many times why their ATM at Drew st is never working, they say things like: people put keys in them, or coins. Well if these people are on camera: why are they being allowed to ruin this ATM? You probably have 20 camera angles on this ATM. Maybe the ATM has to be reengineered so it actually works & stays in service for your customers!

As usual teller asking me where do I need to deposit my money and after my answer they do the opposite way it s happened to me twice in 6 months, looks like the employees they are not paying attention on their job, but if they move money from one account to another one in your account they charge you a fee.

Been with them for 5 months now. They are way better than 5/3 where we came from. We have had no issues and the staff seems knowledgeable in our needs. We have business and personal accounts with them so its a real banking situation. I would recommend them as of now.

Believe it or not this is the better of the two locations near me. Seminole is complete trash, but the fact that I have to drive completely out of my way, is still unacceptable. The ATMs are constantly out of money or wont accept checks for depoait. I shouldnt have to go inside the bank to do every little thing... its 2021!

Worst bank Iv ever been too i wanted to withdraw $1,300 called ahead to make sure they had enough money in the denomination I needed, they said yes. We have that. I take a 20 min trip to the bank because it s not close to me, only FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY?!?! ITS A FREKING BANK HOW THE HECK CAN YOU TELL ME YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY? what kind of broke establishment are you running?!? THE WORST BANKING/CREDIT UNION. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! First we came in to get our Debit & Credit Cards. When we went to use them there was a problem. Come to find out the cards had the wrong expiration date on them so they wouldnt work. Then I was paying on a credit card that they froze because I wasnt using it because I was trying to pay it off. They let me pay for 10 months before they told me then they couldnt tell me where my money went the last 10 months. Then I went to call and pay my car payment, they try to tell me I cant pay because because I 3 months late. I said No Im not Im 24 days late. Then she had to recheck to find out I was right. Oh but not before she tried to threaten to repo my vehicle! Then she like Mama Im trying to help you. Thanks, for all the help! You have made this a horrible experience like everytime I call to pay a bill or have anything done! This place is a joke! I going to sell my vehicle just so I dont have to deal with this company any more.

I have been a loyal member of this Credit Union under all its names for over 50 years. Cars, loans student loans, and anything else that 50 years benefits the Credit Union and me. now I find myself in a position of saying: IT IS NOT YOUR MONEY. MY STIMULUS CHECK AND HELP CHECKS FROM FAMILY DEPOSITED INTO MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT ARE QUICKLY AND HAPPILY WITHDRAWN FOR PAYMENTS WHICH I CANNOT AFFORD AT THIS TIME. JUST LIKE OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN FORCED TO LIVE ON A SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK--MEDICAL EXPENSES, AND FOOD, CAR, DUKE ENERGY. I even wrote a letter to the bank president to clarify my position of treating deposits with the same --equal--efficiency as debits from checking as OD. Morally, ethically, and clearly HEARTLESS ARROGANCE HAS NOW placed me in a very distressing circumstance. DONT TRUST THIS BANK WITH YOUR MONEY, YOUR--Y O U R MONEY. Heartless and arrogant with MY MONEY.

The PEOPLE have always been great: friendly, competent, everything you expect. My major complaint with the Drew Street branch is the ATM machine. I need to make after-hours deposits, and heres what happens: 1) many many times I try to use it and it says we wont be able to print a receipt, do you want to continue? I need a receipt, so I drive away. 2) many times I get this message unable to process your request, please try again later 3) It cant read all the bills, so it spits out the rejected bill and I submit it again in a separate transaction. For ease of bookkeeping, I would prefer to have the entire deposit on one receipt, not multiple receipts. 4) One time it actually miscounted and shorted my deposit by $20. Fortunately the staff was very understanding and credited my account when I called the next day. They KNOW there are problems with their ATM machine. ps. the Dunedin ATM works fine every time. I dont live near there, but I end up driving there when the Clearwater ATM doesnt work.

I made an appointment for a banker and got here 5 minutes before my appointment at 10:55 when my appointment was at 11:00. I waited around for 25 minutes for them to take someone else back there before me. This banks management needs help. I don t understand how they are still operating with this type of cycle. It s not fair I ve been here for 25 minutes get called into the office and she says oh wait I m waiting for Anthony not you, sorry. Then I have to wait another 30 minutes to see a banker..... how is this fair?

I joined Achieva 7 years ago after being tired of the big banks fees and lack of customer service. Unfortunately, Achieva is no better than Wells or BofA as they are just looking for ways to bring in extra revenue thru hidden fees. I have both of my company accounts there plus personal because when I signed up they were free accounts but I just realized today that they have been charging me $6.95 per month to have a checking account that was supposed to be free. They took the liberty of upgrading me to a better checking account without ever even notifying me there was a $6.95 fee each month. Even though I run both of my companies thru their bank, they only agreed to credit me back 3 of the charges even though they admit that they enrolled me in it without my permission. Im done with this shady company and it sucks that I have to now go setup all my bill pays and corporate accounts at another bank but I have no choice as this place has gone down hill!

This is the worst bank, I have ever known. I had been a loyal customer for almost 20 year. Now because I deposit my personal income too often they close my account without rational explanation.

Horrible Customer Service. Also, with all the charges now for accounts and other things you are better off going with a Bank as we did. All accounts will be closed and never again will they be used for any auto loans (had four and also a HELOC). If you want to be treated well and given correct information the first time not the third or eighth do not waste your time here.

I started a vacation fund earlier and have discovered there is a $10 per month fee for inactivity. Ive lost money while trying to save, how is it ok to charge such a fee to save money? GTE Financial is the way to go.
