Was called this week and informed they deposited $750. back to account. Happy for that! Received a call asking if a $750.00 from Hong Kong charge was legitimate. I said NO , to which the caller stated my debit card would be canceled and a new one installed and sent in the mail. We went into Suncoast to check the status of everything . They deducted the charge of $750. My card was canceled, and I wasnt re-issued until we walked into the actual building and asked for it. Nothing had been done. After we talked to a representative, we got a new card, and she went to reimburse the money. Then said it had to be reviewed by a manager or supervisor. We checked in a few days, and nothing had been returned. Then, they said that its a legitimate charge because the theif answered questions correctly. But they wont accept that I said it was fraudulent on the first call? We have spoken to several people in the bank who are claiming its a legitimate charge. How do they come to that conclusion? Our card had to be reissued- and thats proof enough , but they are denying this. I guess they get penalized for messing up and avoid reimbursement to avoid fees. I recommend another bank. This is robbery by the bank. Save your money Continued....I received two letters they are denying to reimburse my money. The thief gave correct info , which is the zip code of my address. If you look up anyone in a city, you can access the zip code. I answered that it was fraudulent when called regarding the purchase. How on earth do they allow this? No call from whomever said theyd call. In all honesty, dont put your money where they dont honor their own phone calls for fraudulent purposes. This is making me sick. Im on a fixed income. I dont throw $750.00 around on one purchase. Please dont do business with Suncoast. There are so many other credit unions

My son went to renew his tags and Suncoast had taken his name off of the title by mistake. Had to wait 10 days for them to process the paperwork. Their error but we had to pay the consequences of their mistakes. They also repossessed his jeep last year by mistake and had to wait 24 hours to get vehicle back. Suncoast responded below with a send us your contact information and someone will reach out Been a week and...crickets!

This bank infuriates me I was with Wells Fargo for 10 years prior to transferring to this Bank in the time that Ive been with this Bank my account has been compromised several times they even contacted me about a fraudulent charge and they still hold my money up instead of canceling payment and putting it back in my account Im seriously considering closing my account with Suncoast and going back to my old Bank I am done with Suncoast credit Union

Seems like when I have to deposit the ATM or teller outside dont accept deposits at certain times lines are always long. Half the time they got one lane closed. Bank needs more attention any other suncoast in cape is good besides this one 9x out of 10 its always super busy like theres not enough employees to accommodate business but cape coral is over crowded as it is do somthing about your availability here

I arrived at the bank around and seated at 2:11pm and was served at 2:45pm. Rose disrespectfully walked out her office calling WIRE TRANSFER? , instead of calling my name. I understand that my name is foreign however she did not even try the first, middle, or last. I asked her if the name was too difficult for her and quickly responded with I called the name and got no answer, so I said WIRE TRANSFER , which is a blatant lie. She had me in the office for about 10-12 minutes to complete a wire when I had all the information needed. She PULLED OUT HER PHONE TEXTING saying I m sorry my son and her girlfriend are in the airport flying back to Florida from Boston. That was not an emergency allowing her to pull out her phone to text while assisting a customer. I will never visit that branch. Shame on you Rose Chavez. You need better customer service training.

Terrible experience with teller, Giovanni. It started with him reported having some kind of technical issues. Then repeatedly asked how I was going to pay for the car payment. He said I was not authorized to make a payment on my wifes behalf. I was floored since I have done this for several years without any issues. He refused to assist and said I should see a lobby supervisor. I did and she had a perplexed look on her face as to why Giovanni would not process my payment. She was great and her name is Julie. BTW, my wife and I are on the same account. So, she suggested I use a lobby teller who processed my payment within minutes. I shared with her my negative experience with Giovanni but she said she wasnt his immediate supervisor. But not to worry, his supervisor records the transactions. I suggested he needed some additional training and customer service development. Stay away from Giovanni.

Have a large dollar cashiers check from another local bank and had my money put on hold for 9 days because I was a new client...okay...after the 9 days I was told it was put on hold for nearly a month. Becausethebankhad to verifythe check. I had a representativefrom the other bank contact suncoastand verify the check.they still said they had to wait. this is just bad business any way you look at it. Ive never heard the word YES in this place. They say that there is nothing they can do to help you. Do you like waiting 2 weeks for regular checks to clear? This is your place. Do you want your checking account locked because youre late on a credit card payment? Step right in. I got stranded at a gas station without enough gas to get the bank because they locked my CHECKING ACCOUNT for a late credit card payment. 2 1/2 weeks to clear a 5k check. They just shuffle everybody to a screen where a real teller is in a home office doing everything. It used to be a good bank. Now its just like Walmart customer service.

The one thing I dont like is the fact that youre told you have a waiting period to get large amounts out of the ATM. So you have to call ahead or use the ATM portal to talk to someone. Well go today and the main office I was told is closed and the ITM service they provide on the ATM was also closed. So guess what if I needed to withdraw over $250 today tomorrow... it doesnt matter to the suncoast credit union. Smh

So disrespectful while their machines where restarting. Would not help customers that were in line waiting for the teller that were the interactive ones that kept shutting down. Told me to go back outside and use the ATM as an interactive teller instead and wait for the machine to restart. Yes I am waiting in line for your one teller machine to work. Just to make a withdrawal. The ATM drive thru was down the one in front of the building was down and only interactive teller inside and one outside walk up. There was over 10 people waiting on friday. All the young man and woman behind the counter would do is talk at me. So disappointed. Im thinking about closing my account. Never have I had a problem with Suncoast in 15 years.

Our experience at sunc is excellent, especially with Rose Chávez @ del prado, she is the best, her attention, charisma, treatment, we cant complain, thanks to Suncoast for having her, it makes us very happy to know that we are attended by a person who makes him happy to solve the problems of others. Undoubtedly the best..

This Branch deserves negative 10 Stars. Went there to make a deposit and the two machines are broken. The only machine working was the one outside where all the smokers stand. What a disgusting branch.

Horrible experience here. Just needed a signature on an insurance check, have been waiting 1 hour so far. Very poor organization /customer service for an issue that would take less than 2 minutes to complete.

To start off, I would give zero stars if I could. I have been with Suncoast since I moved to Florida in 2014, I have purchased two cars & have their credit cards & lines of credit. I sent a family member over $700.00 via there pay a person function on the app. Which they never received. We confirmed I confirmed it correctly sent on my end and the receiving party s information was correct, (we had used this method of payment in the past with no issues and our information was saved) & they got a notification saying the money is on the way, and no additional changes need to be made unless they wanted it to go to a different account, but somehow Suncoast put the money in the wrong account. They did not tell me it was in the wrong account for a week. After me & the recipient called several times over the first week, each time we called separately they told each of us there was nothing we needed to do on our end and we just needed to wait more time for the money. Or they told us they needed to talk to the opposite person who called. Really just running us in circlesAfter a full week they told us it was sent to the wrong account and we needed to submit a dispute, and they would submit it on our behalf. After waiting a second week they told us whoever helped us was wrong and we needed to submit the dispute ourselves, specifically me, at the credit union. I get to the branch and they tell we both need to be there. We both go to the credit union and are there for over two hours. The teller tells they documented error on the recipients side of the transaction, (which they never told us before and previously told us we did everything correctly on both ends) they told us one thing verbally and documented something else and provided no documentation that the account number was entered incorrectly. (Which was correctly saved to the recipient s account because we successfully made money transfers the same way in the past with no issues). Over three weeks later ultimately they couldn t or wouldn t prove error on our end and just documented it as such.And it felt like a big kick rocks, that s what you get for using our system After banking with Suncoast for 8 years or so, I will not be using them in the future and I am very disappointed with the handling of this situation, the inconvenience, the incompetence & the lack of value of its loyal customers.

Be aware of the poor customer service. My social security shows in another account. Neither the teller or the customer service representative on the phone knows what is going on.
