I want to give 5 star rating to Jaclyn Palm at the Alachua Branch. I had started a loan application online and it was annoying to have to sign in every time to answer a question. So I stopped in at the branch and Jaclyn helped us finish the application in about 15 minutes. She always greets me by name and that is refreshing in this day and age.

Morgan went above and beyond. Even though we ran into a bad situation related to new policies, she remained patient and diligent. Her communication was excellent, professional, yet personable. We were disappointed to learn our go-to person at our local branch would no longer be able to help us, due to a promotion, but Morgan stepped in to assist. She was prompt, and kept us updated throughout the process. We have had a really good experience despite a frustrating situation. Im am so over the Vystar app. And the banks web page. I do bank payments through the website because the app doesnt work. This is the second month in a row that the bank page is different and cannot find where to make a bank payment. I call I either get no answer or I get transferred to a robot that is no help. So if the bank wants their payments they will get it when they call looking for it. Im over it.

I went in the Alachua branch to get a new debit card printed, when the teller (Morgan) realized the third party fraud company forgot to flag the biggest 3 charges!! She saved the day. Opened an account just over two weeks ago and can already tell this is not a good fit. The online banking is down almost as much as its available, I still have not received a debit card, and I cannot sync this account with my budgeting software, it declined PayPal transactions, and I cannot send money using Zelle. Every time I log into the app or website, it requires two factor authentication and cannot recognize or save a safe or registered device. The local branch employees are great and its a convenient location, but I cannot deal with 1990s level tech. Will be closing this account asap and moving to another credit union who understands tech is a huge aspect of offering good customer service. Note to Vystar Customer Service. I messaged your customer service on messenger and gave them my contact information. They promised that someone would call me to discuss my experience. Shocker, that never happened either.

the CEO has taken responsibility for the horrible situation ongoing for well over a month now, and why is he still employed? no one answers chat, they rarely answer the phone mobile banking down now for a month or so. im currently looking for a viable option to handle our finances

Morgan Madera is our go to advisor at the Vystar of Alachua branch. She is amazing, at what she does. She has helped us with two auto loans and a credit card. She goes above and beyond to make sure that you have everything that you need and that you are satisfied with the terms. She is very quick to reply, and is in constant communication with you thought out the entire process. I recommend her to any and everyone. I can only give five stars for this review and that doesn t do her justice, she goes above and beyond in her customer service! Morgan Madera is hands down the best advisor to deal with at Vystar Alachua branch. We have great success with multiple loans. She is very efficient with responding to any and all of our needs. Visited the Alachua branch today and as always used the drive thru. I was greeted by the nicest teller. Her name is Cindy Michel. With being a Vystar member for several years, I have never had someone try and sell a service exceptionally in thru drive thru. When I say jam up customer service, I mean jam up customer service. I would highly recommend her for all your banking needs. GREAT JOB CINDY!

Our first time dealing with vystar was through the Honda Dealership in Gainesville Florida. They gave me such a good rate that I decided to go visit them to see if they could do a refinance for me on my 5th wheel which was with a subprime lender with an astronomic interest rate. Upon going into the Alachua location I met Cindy Michel. I have been dealing with Cindy for over a year. The first day I met her I sat down in her office and said can you refinance my 5th wheel and get me a better rate. She smiled and said we can try! She did and I said I would love my truck here too but it has a lower interest rate already. She said let me see what I can do and she beat that rate too! Cindy is honest, dependable, and truly loves her job. Her years of experience show. So recently we decided we needed to upgrade our 5th wheel after experiencing issues with it and we found one. I contacted Cindy (we are actually in South Carolina with my husbands job) and I said can you help us out? She said sure let s get this thing rolling and she made it happen! She was prompt, honest and worked non stop to make this happen. There are other things she has helped us with but I know where to go for all my banking needs! Vystar has been good to us and has proven to be a one stop bank for all our needs. Their staff is educated, hard working, and genuinely care. They work hard to give you the best rates they can. If you are in the Alachua area stop in and see Cindy along with the other vystar employees and experience what it feels like to feel like you are the most important person in the world. Our family have been Vystar Credit Union members for 20 years. We have financed multiple cars, a home, and started 3 of our 4 children out with checking/saving accounts and our 2 adult children have now started financing their cars with Vystar. To say we are loyal to Vystar Credit Union is an understatement, but no branch or person has impressed us more than Morgan Madeira at the Alachua Branch. We are Columbia County residents and will think nothing of driving the extra distance to do business with her at this branch. She makes everything so much easier and her knowledge is so valuable.

All I can say is, I wish I had changed banks back when they opened here in Alachua then. My experience with Morgan Madera was AMAZING! She had everything done for me with what maybe 20 minutes. Explained everything clearly and told me about some amazing specials. I had to run in there to pick up an envelope the next day she had everything all ready. I am truly HAPPY with my experience with her. She is so happy and bubbly and easy to talk to made you feel like you are at home. I even recommended my husband to switch his account over there (which I hope he does). Thank you again Morgan!!!!!

Morgan Madera is awesome! I entered the Alachua Branch to deposit money because the ATMs were in service. Morgan was my teller and not only did she help me make my deposit, but she offered me other services while I was there; all of which I accepted. The first offer was a VyStar VISA credit card where I could transfer the balances from two of my high interest rate credit cards. This new card has a 0% APR for the first 12 billing cycles, which makes paying down the debt so much easier. The second offer was to refinance my auto loan. My loan with the auto manufacturer had a higher interest rate, so now that the loan has been transferred to VyStar, I can make payments directly within the VyStar portal; at a lower interest rate. After that was completed, Morgan offered me a Signature Line of Credit for overdraft protection. I decided to accept this offer for peace of mind. Although Im much better now with my finances than I was 20 years ago, its nice to know that I have a cushion in place, just in case an unexpected financial crisis befalls me. Morgan was very helpful and communicated with me electronically (and via phone when needed) throughout the process; explaining everything along the way. From my perspective, her customer service skills are exceptional. Thanks, Morgan! By the way, Im so happy we have a branch in Alachua. When we moved to Alachua from Green Cove Springs back in 2013, we had to drive all the way to the Gainesville Branch on SW 34th St. (30 miles away) to do branch only business. Local is good. Thank you for everything, VyStar. :)

Morgan Madera is the best! I spent three days on the phone with another lender trying to finance a vehicle. I called VyStar and Morgan answered the phone. This branch has wonderful staff. We came to open an account for my mother in law and found out they have kids accounts. Came in the following day and opened kids accounts for all four of our kids. Came in today December 31st 2020 to open a traditional IRA for my mother in law who is about to retire and it was in and out.
