We love Hamid (and everyone at Town Jewelers)! My husband and I went to Hamid for our wedding bands. My husband chose a wedding band from Hamid's selection and Hamid made me a custom band to compliment my engagement ring. From our first visit, we could tell that the customer service here would be incredible. Hamid is so warm and has great energy. He always makes time to listen to us and explain all of our options, and we always feel comfortable asking questions. We never once felt pressured--he truly cares about you, not about making a sale. Hamid is a delight to work with! We went to him after checking out a few bigger box stores to create my engagement ring and are now utilizing him for our wedding bands. For the engagement ring, he walked us through the decision-making process efficiently yet patiently, and (as many other reviewers have noted) without pressure. He was quick with his iterations through every round of edits and I ended up with a piece I absolutely adore. It feels rare to do business with vendors that are so genuine, but Hamid and Town Jewelers truly care about customer experience, and that really shines. Plus, his pricing is transparent and fair. As a bonus, if you come on a weekend, there might be some tasty desserts for you. We look forward to continuing to work with them for many years!

I walked in to basically get an idea of my ring size. We ended up talking for 45 minutes about rings, walking through different band options, sizing, thickness, etc. They took the time to teach me about wedding bands, instead of pushing product. Their pricing is extremely transparent as well. The experience was so much better than any other shop I’ve been to in DC.

I walked back in a week later to order my wedding band. They remembered our whole conversation and chatted as we finalized the payment. What I didn’t expect were all the pictures I was sent during the creation process! It was really cool to see the gold melted down and raw before all the polishing.

When I picked up the ring, I asked if I could bring it back for an engraving (wedding date on the inside). They said I should go grab lunch and it would be done in 15 minutes. 15 minute later I walked out with a beautiful wedding band.

This is a great shop. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Hamid did a wonderful job with my finance's engagement ring and our wedding bands. We were recommended by a family friend to give their family owned shop a try after going to a couple chains. Not only were they willing to utilize a family heirloom as the center stone, but also designed the entire ring around it. The entire staff was super friendly, super positive and didn't push to upsale whatsoever. I love a relaxed, laid back experience anytime I'm making a large investment, and made the process as stress-free as possible!
Hamid showed us different renderings and allowed us to design the ring as we wanted it to be (we're kinda needy). My fiance was ecstatic about the ring after it was ready for pick up! After the proposal, we went back to design our wedding bands, and were able to design it again as we wanted. I was able to get a custom tungsten ring with rose gold inlay to match with my fiance, and she was able to get a wedding band that contoured perfectly with her engagement ring.
It was always a pleasure working with Hamid and the team. We look forward to doing more business with this family owned business.

When I started ring shopping, friends told me to stick with a neighborhood jeweler if I could. It was great advice and a few years later Hamid has helped me make an engagement ring along with both our wedding bands. It's always a welcoming place here, and they're always patient with you as you talk about what you're looking for and what direction to go in. We wanted a unique look for each piece and that can best be done with folks who really want to get to know you as a customer and your story. On top of that they were thoughtful about everything, offering to put in ring spacers if the size was off, resizing if needed, mailing the ring if we had to get it to the surprise engagement quicker--the list goes on. If you're in Cleveland Park especially, be sure to celebrate this top-tier shop.

Hamid and team made my wedding experience even more special. Knowing I wanted to use pieces of my grandmothers wedding ring to turn into my own but not knowing how, I came to Town Jewelers to ask for advice and ideas.

Hamid immediately worked with me to mock up a digital version he could create and an estimate and let me think about it. A couple of weeks later I came back with some feedback and he modified the design to my liking.

In just a few weeks, my new ring was ready and as beautiful as I could have imagined.

Throughout the whole process, Hamid showed he truly loves what he does and has a great eye, but wants the customer to be happy first and foremost. Service and quality were supreme. Thank you team at Town Jewelers - an excellent local family business!

This is an excellent local jewelry store conveniently located one block from the Cleveland Park metro station. I recently needed some custom jewelry pieces cleaned and repaired and wanted professional feedback. I was quoted a very reasonable price with a quick turnaround. You can easily get lost for hours in this store looking at all of the beautiful pieces they have. Hamid the jeweler might just be the sweetest human on the planet as well. Had the amazing opportunity to spend an hour with him recently designing an anniversary band, and it was actually a really fun process! Hamid was fantastic in helping us get a treasured family ring appraised, cleaned, and resized. He was patient and knowledgeable when he talked us through the process. We were particularly impressed by his care and attention to the ring and its history he was able to preserve a worn away engraving and also was honest about not intervening too much in the structure of the ring. The price was very reasonable, and we were thrilled to support what we found out was a multi-generational, family-run business!

Had a great experience with this jewelers. I had made what was supposed to be a 2 hour drive, that turned into a 4.5 hour drive with all the traffic, so I missed my appointment time. But they were very flexible and considerate of the circumstance, and were willing to stay open late to work me in. I felt they were very genuine and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated their honesty. I will definitely be coming back when I m in town again!

I had a sentimental piece that needed fixing (it was a cheap piece, gold filled, but near to my heart) and they took such great care of it, fixed the necklace seamlessly, and with such a quick turnaround too. The folks at Town Jewelers are tremendous and I couldnt recommend them more. We wanted to buy our wedding rings from a local shop, not a big chain. We had no idea what we wanted and they took a very personal, laid back approach, helping us choose rings that were right for us and not trying to upsell. After our wedding, my ring was too big and he resized it not once, but twice (!) to get the perfect fit. We will be eternally grateful for such a positive experience. Hamid and his family at Town Jewelers were a complete joy to work with. They did the wedding bands for my wedding, and went out of their way to hand craft the coolest groom s wedding band. I wanted something unique and they more than delivered. Hamid was able to take antique gold, hand hammer beautiful ridges and imperfections throughout, and brush it down for a stunning matte finish. He kept me posted every step of the way and I was blown away by the end product. Could not recommend this local family owned business enough. I ll be sure to return with any jewelry needs.

I m so glad I found Town Jewelers. I initially went to get a ring resized and a bent ring reshaped. I was super impressed with the speed of the service and the reasonable pricing. I got to talking with Hamid about their custom services and ended up bringing in a flimsy broken 14k ring from an online company which he was able to melt down and rework into a bespoke toe ring. Even though it was a different type of request than they typically do, he was really enthusiastic about it and it turned out beautifully! Town Jewelers has unbelievable customer service I would recommend it to anyone!!

My girlfriend and I called to adjust her engagement ring, and Hamid first very honestly pointed us back to the store I bought from in order to make sure we don t void a warranty. We checked with them and that didn t apply so we checked with another store and they quoted us more than double the price Hamid ended up charging us. When we walked in to the shop, the woman before us was finishing her business and told us welcome to heaven and I thought she was exaggerating. But Hamid was so friendly and professional, the price and turnaround time were both spectacular, and the work was absolutely perfect. If anything, crazily enough, it looked better after than it did new.

I feel like I cant give a truly accurate review here without sounding hyperbolic, but, that risk aside, Hamid and team provided absolutely superb service to me and went over and beyond the week of my wedding. I would recommend them to anyone over any other jeweler in the DMV; and we will 100% be coming back to work on my fiancés wedding band and future pieces. I came in four days before the wedding (in the late afternoon) asking for a wedding band and having essentially no clue what I needed. Other places I called were not easy to deal with and required appointments too far into the future for us, or online options that seemed counterproductive. But, within literally 15 minutes of talking to Hamid and looking at rings, I had found exactly what we wanted (material, sizing, style, etc.) and I was reassured that they could get the ring made, including our engraving request, within a couple of days. It was clear that Hamid new exactly what he was doing--and that it pays off to be a fourth generation jeweler and artist in this kind of situation lol. Unbelievably, I got a call the very next morning that they had called in a favor to get the ring made quickly--and, even more incredibly, when I came in to get it, Hamid also gifted me one of their in-house watches as a wedding present. A beautiful watch. It was an exceedingly generous gesture. Moreover, working with them on the ring design was so easy that I suspect anyone could find what they need here no matter the piece or preferences. Also, to make things even more absurd, his wife is a baker and they had delicious fresh cookies--I inhaled two and wish I had more. No wonder theyve been an institution for decades in Cleveland Park--expertise and class beyond measure! We will def be back.

I took an antique ring to Town Jewelers to have it sized down. All of the guys there are super nice, very careful with their work, fast turnaround time, and they took extra special care to keep some of the engraving on the inside of the ring as just a really thoughtful detail on their part. They did a beautiful job on the ring, it fits perfectly, and they even polished it for me. I cant recommend them more highly, and I will come back for any other watch or jewelry matters in the future.

My fiancee and I went to Town Jewelers for an engagement ring, wedding bands, and a pendant/chain. We had a phenomenal experience! Hamid and Town Jewelers will treat you like family. Hamid helped guide my wife and I to the most beautiful engagement band and wedding rings we could ever imagine. I walked in with no idea of what I wanted and he worked with me the whole way, through countless emails and texts. He sent pictures of progress along the way, taught me more than Id ever learned before about diamonds and jewelry, welcomed my wife and I with so much love every time we came to the shop, I cant say enough about how wonderful our experience was. I used a family diamond for my wifes hidden halo engagement band. She went with a channel setting gold band, and when I didnt like the brushed flat band Id first chosen, Hamid used it as a display, and made a brighter more rounded band for me the next day. If youre looking for a jewelers for your engagement and wedding rings, you need to go to Town Jewelers. They also had so many cool other pieces I enjoyed looking at whenever I went in. Its a neighborhood institution and they will treat you like family.

I wish I could give Town Jewelers more than 5 stars. Hamid at Town Jewelers has gone above and beyond with his customer care, its no wonder he has so many returning loyal customers. We came in originally to resize my grandmothers engagement ring, but we have now returned many times for resizing a wedding band and getting two rings appraised. Hamid is honest about every part of the process and takes the time to explain why everything is done and the choices he makes for repairs, especially with pieces that carry sentiment. Town Jewelers had the best price by far. They were the most communicative, and most accommodating with my schedule. Town Jewelers Inc. is a local jewelry store in Cleveland Park, Washington DC. We walk by it all the time and decided to take a look. Hamid, one of the owners, took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. We gravitated to a particular style of ring and Hamid told us that was his new style he was making. We picked our rings and Hamid worked with us to create them himself. He made our rings out of the same bar of gold and sent us pictures of the rings being hand crafted. How many people can say that?! I worked with Town Jewelers, specifically with Hamid, and it was such a great experience. I went in there with an idea for an engagement ring and Hamid made the experience worthwhile. He was very accommodating, honest, and open to hear you out in your preferences. I had to leave town for work and vacation, and Hamid was very accommodating in continuing the conversation via email including sending pictures/videos of the designs. We brought in our daughter s sixteenth birthday ring that had lost a stone and the setting was in bad shape. Ali gave pus many options of how to proceed. She really wanted to keep the same stones and design. Ali took the time to find a matching stone and rehab the setting. So for her 31st birthday, she s wearing a special treasure again. Thank you! Great family-operated business! Such a nice and welcoming staff. I always go here for my watch battery replacements due to the friendly atmosphere and great service prices. I recently went in to get battery replacements for three of my watches and they had all three battery replacements done in under ~40 minutes, and at an affordable fair price! So glad we went to Town Jewelers for my custom engagement ring! From the beginning, Hamid was fantastic to work with - I was very anxious about the process and wasnt sure what I wanted, and he took his time and was very patient in getting us to the perfect design. Town Jewelers is amazing! We worked with Hamid for our custom wedding bands and cannot be more happy! Hamid communicated with us for every detail, provided proofs, and is willing to stand by his work no matter what. Hamid and his father provide some of the best customer service Ive seen in decades. Hamid and Town Jewelers care more about making high quality products that you will cherish for generations rather than just creating a brand. Our wedding bands ended up being better than expected. Custom, handmade, and truly one of a kind. They also use recycled metals and gems so no blood diamonds or anything like that. I appreciate this very much. We also already brought in other jewelry that needed some post work since we were so impressed by the work Hamid did on our wedding bands. They are my go-to jeweler from now on. While I was there for our wedding bands, I noticed the watches. Hamids father is a watchmaker by trade and uses Swiss movements and real sapphire crystals in his watches. They have vintage watches but the Town Jewelers line caught my eye. Elegant and classy, yet modern. I had to have one. After talking with Hamid and his father, I chose a watch that Ill be proud to wear. And how cool is it that the watch is made local! I love Town Jewelers, Hamid, and his father so much! Ill be recommending Town Jewelers to everyone including for watches. This review doesnt do Town Jewelers justice. I took my grandmas wedding ring (was passed down to me) to Town Jeweler to get it sized a couple years ago. They did a great job and took such good care of my ring. Recently I noticed the it was broken where the sizing had been done. I took it back to Town and without question they fixed the ring for me and made sure everything else was ok with it as well (diamond settings and such). No charge at all. I d highly recommend Hamid and his dad as they understand the importance of family heirlooms and treat them with the care they need. Just awesome!

I cannot speak highly enough of Town Jewelers (owned and operated by the Forghani family since 1976). Ali restored my great-grandfathers watch with skill and care, and his son Hamid clearly communicated with me throughout the process. They took a holistic approach by including a hand-stitched leather band and matching gold buckle, and every step of the transaction was pleasant. I couldnt love Town Jewelers any more than I do. They have beautiful designed rings, earrings, necklaces, watches, and loose stones in store and offer custom/redesigned pieces as well. They resized an heirloom engagement ring for me in 24 hours because we happened to mention offhand that wed be going out of town soon, and gave it a thorough clean/polish and appraisal too. Hamid is super communicative, trustworthy, and reliable and clearly loves his craft which makes visiting the store really fun. Ali was also incredibly sweet and complimentary of our jewelry. Theyre definitely high on my list for wedding bands and any other jewelry in the future!

TL,DR: My necklace repair was very affordable, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Hamid & Town Jewelers! I reached out to Town Jewelers about repairing a broken super-thin gold chain necklace and my grandmothers bracelet that is multiple herringbone-style chains woven together (all different metals). Hamid responded to my email immediately and set up an appointment to look at the necklace. He also explained exactly the issue with the bracelet, and the specific tool that needs to be used in order to fix the bracelet without ruining the metal. Unfortunately, he didnt have that tool, but I really, really appreciated him being upfront and sending all the information! He was so patient with me and my questions, and repaired the necklace beautifully!

Hamid helped me and my now-husband design our custom wedding bands. He is the nicest guy you will ever work with, so enthusiastic about his work, and answers every question and concern -- including questions you wouldnt even think of! He never pressured me into using any type of stone of metal, nor did he try to upsell me, but when I said I prefer to use lab-created stones for ethical reasons, he lit up, because he completely agrees. This store is family-owned, and Hamids father is usually there as well. My now-husband and I decided we preferred to give our business to a local place instead of Zales or another large chain, and we assumed wed pay a premium for that, but when I compared the prices Hamid cited me later, I realized his pricing was extremely fair as well. You cannot go wrong in Hamids hands!

Youre probably reading the reviews and after enough reading will stop and go, Wait, did that guy submit two different reviews? The answer is yes, but my fiancee doesnt leave Google Reviews so I wanted to leave one reflecting our combined feedback too just to show two different jobs done (engagement ring & wedding bands) and two happy customers. In my last review, I bought an engagement ring for my fiancee and you can read all about it there. This time, my fiancee and I together bought our wedding bands for a wedding later this year (note I wont publish the pics until afterwards just to not spoil it for any mutuals possibly reading this). The summary: Hamid will take care of you. Wedding bands could seem incredibly simple. I learned very quickly that theyre not simple, but his attention to detail helped me sort through the surprisingly numerous options to find what I prefer. What guy thinks about his wedding band and what hed want ahead of time? Not me. I can see what I like/dislike and get guided to an opinion with the right help though, and Hamid was my guide. Hamid walked us through the different looks of wedding bands with plenty of examples and opportunities to try on the ones in store to get a feel (dont worry, he disinfects them between customers). Then he worked with us over text to confirm our engraving and went the extra mile to ensure a special design request for the engraving happened the right way. The product really shines and its not just from the polish. The engravings were done exactly as we hoped. The rings are gorgeous and my ring design that he helped me figure out looked really good on my finger when I tried it on. If youre reading this in 2021 (and maybe 2022), youre probably dismayed at the rising price of everything. Suddenly, everything became a lot more expensive. Hamid looked out for us here too by allowing us to place a deposit that locked in the price of the gold which saved us $$ because gold jumped in price in between our original deposit and picking up the final product today. Lastly, youre probably wondering what sort of care Hamid gives after the product is done. Since the engagement ring in July 2020, he has resized, cleaned, and checked on the ring over the past year or so. For what its worth, the prongs for the engagement ring are still in great shape despite 9-10 months of use and no stones are at risk of falling out. Consider working with him not just for the help on the front of the process but also the much longer process of making sure the ring is maintained for the long run.

What a delightful experience. The father and son team were so friendly, helpful and professional. They even encouraged me to take a bracelet with a broken clasp back to the jewelers brick and mortar store for a repair in order to save money. In the meantime, they restrung pearls and repaired three necklaces for me. They also handle appraisals. Side note, their prices are very reasonable.

They always create a welcoming environment, provide prompt, professional, and knowledgeable service, all at very reasonable prices. The summary: Hamid does outstanding work on engagement rings. I don t think you could find a better jeweler in the whole city as a young professional looking to hit a home run. My full story: Before COVID, my now fiancée and I received a recommendation to go to a 50 minute education session at a chain, socially conscious showroom elsewhere in the city. That plan was ruined due to COVID. Wanting to continue engagement ring buying, we began looking online and found unfair prices for designs that were nice but not home run worthy. Luckily, this online shopping was in June and DC began reopening retail shops. Living in the neighborhood, I went up to this shop to see if they can help me. They previously did a very wonderful and fair watch band resizing for me, but I knew nothing about Hamid s speciality of engagement rings. Frankly, I couldn t be more thankful of my decision. I knew exactly what my fiancée wanted and what mattered to her because we spent at least an hour or two discussing it and looking at different rings online. Hamid took my detailed knowledge and improved upon it using his expertise. He optimized on the sapphire look she desired and added the round diamonds at the ends of the setting which was entirely unique compared to the online rings. She has long, thin fingers and he made the setting taper towards the top to make the ring look less chunky on her finger. Best of all, he was able to work entirely in my budget, giving me a home run ring for the price I was willing to spend elsewhere for something my fiancée liked much less. Simply put, unless you re giving your significant other a ring pop from a coin operated machine, you need to go to Hamid.

Businesses like this are, unfortunately, very hard to find these days. The sense of pride, value, sincerity, and the clear desire to give their very best are things Ali and Hamid demonstrate from the moment you walk in. I am a customer for life! Amazing craftsmanship at a fair price, coupled with their ability to listen and know their customers makes them worth driving past fifty other jewelry stores (if you need to, like me). I bought custom jewelry twice from them now (my wifes wedding ring and a 5-year anniversary ring). Ill never EVER go anywhere else!

I had my engagement ring resized and appraised at Town Jewelers. I worked with Hamid who was personable and honest. The resizing was going to be challenging due to the size and design, but they were able to complete it without compromising the layout or any of the side diamonds. It fits perfectly now! The owner even came in on his day off (and the day of his wedding anniversary!) so that I could pick it up before the long weekend. Excellent customer service. Also they have many beautiful antique pieces and mantle clocks. Looking forwarding to making this a regular stop.

I came in with multiple watches to repair, and they quickly assessed and fixed each one; one whose band I thought was broken actually just needed to be popped back together, which they did gratis. I purchased an engagement ring here last July and had a great experience. I had been searching for a ring with a filigree style and a some art deco flair. After striking out at other stores, they had exactly what I was looking for here. The ring is beautiful, with the metalwork being just as showy as the stone. Even better, it was designed and made in the store. The father and son duo were very helpful throughout the ring selection process. After proposing we needed the ring to be resized, and they finished the resizing the next day. After months of wearing the ring, it still looks great. It has a delicate appearance, but has held up well.

My experience with Town Jewelers was phenomenal. I recently came into Town Jewelers, being referred by a friend, to purchase an engagement ring. I was not sure what to expect from the process but as soon as I stepped in the door, I felt very comfortable that Hamid and his father were taking good care of me. Hamid provided me with a summary of his qualifications, gave me an excellent overview of what to expect, and educated me on the various aspects of the products he was about to show me. He told me all about the custom products that he produces and began to show me styles of engagement rings. After only a few minutes I saw a piece that really caught my eye and asked to know more, lo and behold he had, just a week before, crafted the perfect ring for my fiancé. I walked out 45 minutes later with an excellent quality diamond and a unique piece that I do not believe I could have found anywhere else. Since the quality of work and service had exceeded all expectations it was an easy choice to return to Town Jewelers for our wedding bands! Again, once my fiancé and I walked in the door we knew we were in good hands. Hamid showed us both different styles and quickly sniffed out what we would like, and he was correct! The family who own and run Town Jewelers are wonderful people! My husband and I use the Cleveland Park location often and we love this place! They have great service and they are very friendly and patient and their prices are reasonable, if not lower than other places. Their service is fast and personable and they are quick to make repair adjustments when needed, even after they have made a repair. If more work is needed after they do a repair, they will do their best to make it to the customers satisfaction and they have always gone above and beyond for me and everything they have done for me has been wonderful. They also have a great selection of unique items that are custom made and many are one of a kind. They have taken great care of our needs and I highly recommend them! Long overdue review of this small gem on Connecticut Avenue, near the crossing with Macomb Street. Weve been using their jewelry services for over 20 years: repairing unique old pieces, fixing small problems, even simply changing batteries in watches. A few days ago they masterfully stretched a Tiffany wedding band. Perfect fit and looks like new! Always pleasant, patient and professional. A family-owned business that survived many changes on the block. Just hope they will be there for decades to come, priceless!

I walked in with a broken necklace, and the owner, Mr. Ali Forghani, had me on my way in half the time I expected and for half the price. Ali was courteous and generous, and he was even able to point out to me that my necklace was not the type of gold that I thought it was. I have gone to this store for many years for watch and ring repairs. Several years ago, I went in for a new battery to be installed in my Cartier watch. The owner called me to say that the watch needed to be re-built. He offered to do the work for $800, provided that I agreed to never complain if the watch subsequently broke. I agreed. About five years later, the metal bracelet of the watch broke. I thought it just needed a new pin inserted, and brought it to Town Jewelers for repair. The owners son told me that he could see that his father had already fixed the bracelet when he re-built the watch, it had not held, and he could not fix it again. He advised me to take it to Cartier. Cartier said that the bracelet could not be repaired and replaced the bracelet with a leather band. Shortly thereafter, the watch stopped working. I took it to Town Jewelers for a new battery. The son of the owner said that he could not open the watch to replace the battery because the screws inserted into the back of the watch case were not the original screws and would not come out. I took the watch to Cartier for a new battery. Cartier told me (i) it had not inserted the screws in question, and (ii) someone had inappropriately opened and closed the watch, letting in moisture. Town Jewelers is the only place other than Cartier that I have taken my watch and Cartier does not use screws other than those made expressly for Cartier so I have to believe that the ill-fitting screws were inserted by Town Jewelers. I went to Town Jewelers today to tell the owner what Cartier said had happened to the watch. I did not ask for any recompense; I simply wanted to tell the owner what had happened. The owner denied having inserted the non-original screws, and told me that there was nothing he could or would do to help me. Unless I sink another $500 into the watch for repairs, my watch is now worthless. I will not return to Town Jewelers again.

My now fiance and I went to Town Jewelers to see about resetting my grandmothers stone in a new setting for my engagement ring. Hamid was extremely patient as he explained all of the design options and answered my many questions. He worked with us to create something beautiful, and within our budget. Incredible service. My wedding band needed to be polished , it now looks as good as new. I definitely recommend this local business and will be back for repairs, new jewelry and watches. Store is beautiful and has a great selection.

Night and day compared to the big chain jewelers I went to the day prior. Gave me much more info and explained the options they had available much more thoroughly so I felt I was making an informed decision about my wedding band. They also rushed my order within a week at no extra cost. Greatly appreciated.

I am new to Cleveland Park and D.C.. Town Jewelers has earned my business for the duration of my stay here, which I hope is years to come. Hamid, the son of the family-owned business, was very busy the day I stopped by. He was backed up with repairs and other work (a sign they do great business), yet took at least a half hour of his time to assist me DESPITE the fact I didn t have an appointment. (Appointments are needed for appraisals) So any review saying there is a lack of customer service is simply false. Hamid went above and beyond to satisfy all my questions. By the end of my visit I felt truly like I had made a new friend and ended up buying a ring there even though that s not the reason I even originally stopped in. I am a nanny and Hamid found something to match my tight budget. The price was excellent, the workmanship was pro, AND as an added kindess to me he got a repair job of mine done in the same afternoon. When I returned later I was also able to meet his father and he too made me feel like family. My reviews are honest and unbiased. If you want to be treated simply like a dollar sign and get a cookie-cutter experience, shop at the mall. If you care about decent human experience, detailed attention, and actually being called by your first name as if you re family come to Town Jewelers Inc in Cleveland Park.

My Fiance and I needed to get an engagement ring resized. Concurrently, we were also looking for a wedding band. The service we received was wonderful. The employee took all our needs into consideration and went above and beyond to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted and needed. While we were there he found a vintage ring that matched our engagement ring. It was 7-800 normally on retail, he kindly reduced the price to something far more affordable and threw in the resizing and cleaning of both rings. It is a family owned business; the service and quality of care reflects that. I am so happy that we chose to get our ring resized here, as now we not only have a resized engagement ring, but a beautiful vintage wedding band to match. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting here for your jewellery needs, we were treated like old friends and it really made a difference! Thank you!

I never EVER write reviews but Town Jewelers was so stunning they deserve the recognition. I brought my great-grandmothers pocket watch in to be repaired and the service was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. My repair was done more than two weeks earlier than expected, it looks like beautiful and works perfectly. Price seemed reasonable (or even low) for the level of service and experience you get from this store. Wonderful place. Dont go anywhere else.

This is a Gem (pardon the Pun) in Cleveland Park. They have a wonderful selection of Jewelery and Rings (they have a very large Watch collection as well though I was not in the market for one). I looked all over the area for a an early 1900s ring, and found Town Jewelers to have best collection. Since they are family owned, they are extremely friendly and their prices are well below larger retailers despite having a better section of antique Jewelry. I got an engagement ring here for what I consider to be a great bargain and my Fiancee loves the ring. They did an excellent job of sizing it as well. The original antique ring was more than 2 sizes to small, so they had to add a platinum insert, I would have never even noticed it if they had not pointed it out it was done that carefully. In conclusion I would say that if you are looking for something unique, Town Jewelers should definitely be somewhere you go!

When we moved to DC a year ago we needed new insurance. I needed to get my wedding rings appraised so I stopped in Town Jewelers. The owner was very helpful and knowledgable. He also took the time to show me the unique inclusions of my diamond that I hadnt ever seen. Since that first visit we have been back for new batteries in both of our watches and recently my husband surprised me with a diamond necklace for our anniversary from Town Jewelers. He said his experience was wonderful and he worked with both the owner and his son. We highly recommend Town Jewelers for all your jewelry needs.
