employees EDIT: This company will try every tactic in their book to take from you. Their insurance department doesnt know how to handle insurance either. They harass you instead of fixing it themselves, which is not why I pay them nearly 2k a month. If you tell me to do your job I shouldnt be paying you for that service.

Three years ago I applied for a semi tractor with North Mill and I qualified for a three year term. The first two were smooth sailing but due to the change in the economy, it was extremely difficult to keep up with the payments this past year. Representative Kelly Sapp clearly understood the situation and helped weather the storm by granting some leeway. Had it not been for Kelly the oportunity to make the final payment may never have occured. It is for this reason I highly recommend North Mill Financing for there demonstration of caring in times of need.

I would give them zero! They are predatory lenders and disorganized and rude. Never ever work with them! They cant keep track of your loan and amounts. Consider hiring an accountant to double check then if you decide to use them for a loan.

Great to work with !!! Doug Phillips had sent in a change in our payment dates and the bank mistakenly pulled the funds early. Doug worked at lightning speed to ensure that the funds were quickly replaced, The very same day he was notified!! This North Mill Equipment Finance is a COMPLETE fraud. Do not fall in this SCAM. They jack up the price to triple the actual sales price. NMEF and everyone I have dealt with have been nothing short of amazing. We started with one vehicle a few years back and now have a vast majority of our fleet with them. The buying process is simple, electronic fast documents, quick funding, fast payoff quotes, friendly people, and etc. In addition; they are helpful when it comes to payoffs especially when replacing the debt. In our business; we often are faced with great deals and NMEF has made it possible to capitalize on fleet updates and investments. Highly recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO FINANCE ANY EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR BUSINESS! They drag their feet at every step of the process. We have been trying to get our Dodge Ram Promaster registered for over a year, and because of constant titlework issues on their part, its still not able to be registered with the state of Colorado, and they refuse to send out temporary tags, so we cant use our work vehicle!

Avoid this company. They were set up to steal, taking advance of small businesses. They are so evil. We have been paying 25% interest for this particular truck & We cant refinance it because of the penalty if we payoff early. we never miss a payments. At the end, they took the truck back & sued us for 28K after paying over 2 years. They didnt even let us know how much the truck was sold for? they just sued us without any notice or inform us how much we owed them...stay away from them.....be aware of this scammed company when covid hits we shutted down the business. Careless they after my personal bank for 40K including attorney fees, all other unrecognized charges. They pushed us to the edges & didnt want to negotiates even we were begging them to settle the remain balance.

Nmef has somehow acquired my loan on a fairly substantially priced piece of equipment. I signed a contract through a broker, not NMEF directly, and was told 7% interest and no pre payment penalty. After making almost $40,000 in payments, according to NMEF I still owe more than what I bought the piece of equipment for. I have run the math on the 7% interest every way I can think of, and still have not come up with anything anywhere close to the amount they are claiming I owe.

Absolutely worst of all time! Any positive reviews are plants or paid for and probably have zero experience with North Mill. I ve had some of my company s equipment financed with NMEF since 2020 and every month it s a headache, JUST TO MAKE A PAYMENT! Think about that. When you make it difficult for your customers to make a payment, what business does that? Their portal payment system is broke, has been broke for years. You cannot make a payment until they post an invoice, they conveniently delay posting an invoice so that when it does post, BAM late fees. Their Customer Disservice is first rate! And their customer conflict resolution is even worse. DO NOT RECOMMEND USING NMEF for your equipment financing needs. I would gladly give zero stars if it were an option. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

This company has a track record of getting Trucks financed for a year longer than many competitors. They also work with business owners who had blemishes on their credit reports over the years. Good company to work with.

This company purchased my equipment loan and it took them about six weeks to let me know. In the meantime, they wanted their payments caught up, no problem, but they tacked on late charges and insurance. I already had insurance and provided them with that. I told them to go . Themselves on late charges. Not my problem. Now I get threatened every month about my account past due although it s current and that they re going to foreclose and take my equipment. They won t back off on the late charges and insurance premiums. I find this company having the worse customer service that I have experienced in years. I m going to try to pay them off if I can get a payoff without all of their added on bogus charges just to get them out of my life.

This company is after your money and no remorse. I obtain a loan and they word their contract unusual. You have to pay all the payment without a payoff discount, basically charging you all the interest of the length of the loan even if paid sooner. I wished my broker had informed of this, but they seem to work together. Never getting a loan from them again, Stay away!

The relationship with Northmill started of normal but ended in a bad note. In December, I wired the full payoff to my truck to Northmill. After several phone calls, it took their accounting department over a week to apply the money and close my account. I was told that it would take 6 weeks to receive my title in the mail. During that 6 weeks, I followed up with this company via phone and email to make sure the process was moving along correctly. At the end of the 6 weeks, I still had not received my title. When I contacted them again, I was told that they had just sent the lien release to the state and it would take another 4-6 weeks to get my title. At that point, I had to demand that they send the lien release letter directly to me so I could go get the title myself, however, their lack of urgency has caused me to loose an opportunity to sell this truck, as well as cost me additional money to keep insurance and park it while I am waiting. This is definatley not a good business practice, especially when dealing with customers who made 100% of their payments on time and paid the vehicle off early. I would not use them again.

Stay away This is the worst company in the world I purchase a car for $95,000 Tesla S and after the pandemic I cannot afford all the payments and the north mill take the car and sold it after 8 months from the purchase date for $65,000 plus a pay the north mill $17,500 monthly payment for 7 payments $2500 month and take me to the court and he s asking me to pay $95,000 because I didn t pay the different which is a different around $11000 and she doesn t want to take the money I offered her $20K she needs $95K I don t know why and she s asked me to pay the interest for the five years and I don t have the car anymore and penalty for the late payment and we have staying home order from the government. Never could get an answer of my interest rate. Equipment purchase was $26,000, I had a down payment also. Paid $805 a month since September 2019, still want over $15,000 for a payoff!!! Do not use this place for any business. I did pay off another piece of equipment with them, took 7 months to get my title!!! Wouldnt recommend them for anything, poor company that will rip you off.

This is the most under handed company I have ever dealt with. Robert Collazo. Will not return phone calls until he needs something for himself. We have been trying to get a pay off amount for months now and nothing! Now we get a Email that North mill has filed a default on our equipment because we went past the FIVE DAY deadline for payment. We will be contacting our lawyer in this matter! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

For almost three years, I have had an account with this company. I have not missed a single payment. In this time, my company fell on hard times twice. I called NMEF twice. They do not work with you. They will only move the due date 3 days. They do not allow an extension or anything else. The company is now at the end of the contract and is being charged an additional $100 by this company for insurance we already have. We cannot be in business without insurance. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I had loan with north mill and everything was great for the 1st 2 month and on the 3rd month I got a call from saying that at the end of my finance I had a balloon payment but they dont tell at the beginning of the contract and now Im played my loan on January 15 till this day I havent gotten my title to my trailer they keep giving me the run a round its time for me to. Call the bbb.

Its very difficult getting a loan for equipment without having over 100k gross tax filing income from previous years. Takes days for someone to get back to you, very high interest rates, as high as 30%. Avoid this company if you have other options. I have little over a year of payments left, yes loan was written up as a lease, doesnt show on my credit report. Would only save me 6% on interest if cashed off. Id rather pay high interest and have a good tax write-off in the future than to pay it all to the IRS, the IRS doesnt make me money

My experience with North Mill was good but due to COVID and people working from home paperwork took too long in my opinion. One person that did outstanding job was Jake Schock . He genuinely exhibited care and urgency to do what s necessary and to make me feel that I am in good hands . Others from North Mill should learn from Jake .

Don t be like me. I read all these bad reviews and did exactly like most said read the contract.But the best advice I seen and should have done was stay away from this company.They have a high buy out at the end that I chose to live with,high interest I chose to live with was told I had to pay the tax at the end of the deal chose to live with that and they said they would send a tag because it was a lease come to find out that s not true I had to pay tax and tag in 30 days or not have a tag and they charge me $40 more a month than they suppose too.Summary DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Not a professional Compnay. They sent a technician to install a GPS on our trucks and the GPS has fried the entire starter mechanism . They have refused to pay and now I am talking them to court. Their manager is rude and unreasonable . Find a different a company .

I am currently in the lawsuit with North Mill Equipment Finance and Trust Capital LLC. Its taking place in Minnesota Fourth District Case File Number: 27-CV-17-7453. Remember always record any conversation you might have, this will help for court to see what is going on, check on your consumer rights, mine were violated. Currently I can assure they are attempting so hard with Trust Capital to dismiss this issue, but with evidence i have presented, i do not know how they would be able to. Check Antitrust Law, Consumer Protections, Unfair, Deceptive Trade Practices. I strongly suggest learn your rights, because you do have consumer rights that are protected by Antitrust Law. Remember representation is always come first, contract is always second, you mutually had to come to sort of agreements to move forward, if you been misrepresented and it induced your decision to proceed to enter into a contract and you relied on misrepresentation, and obligations were not performed as promised, you might want to consider if its worth your time to defend your consumer right. Remember fraudulent companies do exist, we as consumer have right to know, if its too complex to understand the contract or too vague without clear and simple understanding, it can be void for vagueness. If they have misrepresented you in any way, and you can prove it, this would be clear example they have breached contract, in which could result in real damages, in which give grounds for a suit at law. Remember, you must defend your right, or you voluntarily surrender. We as consumers must uphold the fair market and weed out fraudulent companies by utilizing law and our rights in the pursue of happiness.

To start, I cant even get someone to pick up the phone or return a voicemail I left. I regret Financing through them which TrucklendersUSA was my broker for them. They have strict equipment requirements and dont even think about refinancing if your truck gets totalled, they dont offer that at all. They only got my business because I was slammed with work and they were the first to approve. I made a mistake and Im paying the price to a terrible company. So if manager is reading this, yes, Id still like to talk to someone. Please.

Ok so I have been getting ripped off by this company for about 2 years now but the payment is low so that is the only reason I stay. I was miss lead and lied too the whole way. When it was time to sign the paperwork I called with questions so I would understand what I was getting into. I asked if there was a pre-payment penalty and was told No , the were right but they call it a pre-payment preium. So they made a play on words and miss led me. So I then asked if this was a simple interest loan and was asked what did I mean. So I asked like the.... If I pay off the loan early would I still be responsible for the entire 48 months of loan interest, again I was told No . This was an out right lie. I made my first payment and was close to my second when I was able to get with My bank to re-finance the truck. Now I bought the truck for $39,900 and put down $7000, with tax and all I financed about $33,700. When I called North Mill for the payoff I was told it would be right at $43,000. I said there was no way because of how much I financed and there my be a mistake. This is when I found out I was miss led and lied too. Oh yea the $43000 was the discounted price from the $48000 they say I stared with. I did call a very good lawyer in Norwalk, Ct. and he told me that it would cost to much for me alone to do anything as a single person and that this was not the first time they have heard about this type of practice from Noth Mill. So do not use this company unless it is your last resort and remember who and what they are.

If there was a negative amount of stars, I would choose that. We purchased a repossessed vehicle from this company, and 69 days later, we still do not have a clean title. We were told that we should have the title in 3 business days at the onset of the transaction. Week two we were told it could take up to 30 days. Now, we are being told that there is nothing they can do. They do NOT initiate communication. Every status update has been a result of me requesting contact with management. If you are purchasing a vehicle that you intend to put to work, dont buy it from them. Theres no guarantee youll get a title. UPDATE: Title was received 74 days after payment was wired.

The staff offered the best customer service that we have received from any company. We have plenty of A-Credit lenders. We have plenty of D-Credit lenders. But it s hard to find a lender that can do multiple credit types, especially one that handles the common B-C range customer. North Mill does an excellent job in this market.

Buyer beware. Had the opportunity to payoff the my truck loan with them. The way the contract is worded there is a prepayment penalty based on the days treasury market rate plus any documentation fee for the principal owed. The way they are trying to say it is worded they want to basically charge me all of the interest minus about $1600 bucks that would be due at the end of the last twenty eight payments. That is far different than what the contract states. When I demand a breakdown of how they are arriving at that conclusion all I get is a bunch of nothing so there is no way to even figure out how they are arriving at this amount. Ill be contacting the attorney general in the state of Indiana to see what can be done. These people are predators plain and simple. Do yourself a favor and stay away from any of these companies when buying a semi truck. Go to your local bank and get and SBA loan and live a happy life. I would have been better off doing a capital lease on this truck if this cant be fixed. At least many of them have clauses to walk away from this kind of stupidity if necessary. This company also goes by the name ES Equipment Finance at the same address. These people seem to show up everywhere. I got mixed up with them thru a major Freightliner Dealership.
