Purchased firearm, manager messed up on processing the cbi background check, two times, took 5 trips to finally take purchase home. Then overcharged "layaway " fee, but refunded when I pointed it out. Items in store are overpriced, did request to speak with area manager, never heard back. Only visit with extreme caution, costs and very bad customer service.

Do not! Do not!! Come here!! They are liars and crooks here!! They literally stole a credit slip from me. Ebony charged me some iPods, gave me a fake credit slip and kept over $300 of mine. When I went to go use it she told me it was not good. She was very rude and unprofessional. She needs to be fired for theft!!! She refused to give me corporates number because she knew I was going to complain on her.

I came in here to sell 2 Lenovo Yoga laptops. The chick working the counter tried to tell me my laptop was a 2012 model. She wasnt thrilled when I made her check again because they didnt have this design for laptops in 2012. She proceeded to tell me both laptops were only worth $50 each even though these models are still being sold for $600+. I only wanted $250 for the laptops combined but she wouldnt even entertain bartering and just kept cutting me off to monotonously say the system says its only worth $50. The only reason I came here was so I didnt have to go through the hoopla of FB Marketplace and wanted to see how well they would work with me to make a deal as I have many more things to sell than just these 2 laptops. Needless to say, I wont be coming back here and if I could give 0 stars if I could.

I would NOT recommend and advise staying away from this location. The female manager is extremely discourtious to her customers and tries to make you feel like youre lucky to do business with her. Today, I brought 2 items to the counter, and she always states that the item just came out. Guess what... Your customers can read the dates on the labels. Either way, talking to a customer with your back turned is very disrespectful. I never argue with her, but her attitude is horrible. You can tell she doesnt like her job as she parades around the store acting like she is busy while her customers are standing in line waiting. There is no sense of urgency and no care for the customer. The rest of the staff struggles, and customers walk out. Im glad I don t need a loan because Ive witnessed her belittle those customers worse. Ive noticed that she has specific people she takes care of. I guess there is something about my appearance that prevents her from providing the same level of service. Keep in mind that I typically have my wife with me, and the manager keeps a far distance from her. I grew up in the community and remember what it was like for my parents to have to use pawn shops to make ends meet. I am fortunate to be in a different place in life where I only go to these places for fun. Honestly, this lady needs to go. She is ruining the business. She probably doesnt remember. but I am the same person who asked about the silver jewelry she was hiding behind a display. I could see the price, and she stated that it was already purchased. The very next day, she was wearing the rings on her fingers. Whats funny is that they were marked way below scrap value. I also pointed out to her a piece of gold that was priced high and requested for her to weigh the ring, and she refused, claiming that they dont give weight value on stones. How do you know how much the items weight, unless you remove the stones. I dont think you have the ability or skillset to do that. Be careful about what you buy from her. On a final note, you could probably spend a little time on housekeeping...maybe wipe down the jewelry case, sweep and mop the floors, clear the clutter off of the counters, wipe down the front door handles and windows, and pick up the trash in the parking lot. A little bit of pride could go a long way when changing the customer experience here. Best of luck! For anyone else reading this, go down the hill to the other EZ Pawn or go see the one on south Sheridan or Alameda. Everyone else is really good people and try to work with you. I dont have an issue with being told No to an offer, but I do have an issue with being treated like Ive been treated by this manager.

I came here to pawn some items, I forgot my id so the manager politely told me I still had about an hour to go and get my id. I went to my house got my id and rushed back to the pawnshop only to be told that they were not able to help me. Even though i had 5 mins until they closed. Why do you have 7 pm close time if you dont honor it? You made me go home and get my id then rushed to get here just to be denied access?? Im furious and you have caused me a great inconvenience. Post your hours and honor them otherwise you are false advertising and that Is illegal.

I had excellent service today by Joslyn when I was selling a tv sound bar. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the most out of my sale. She assisted me with turning the device on and making sure it works in store. She was very patient, there was a chaotic line and she gave crazy good customer service with a smile. Thank you guys for being awesome- I drove from castle rock today since mine was closed on Sunday. I was glad to have found one of my favorite pawn shops by accident!

Waiting on a call from the district manager will update rating if needed based on the conversation. Bought a PS5 and 2 controllers - called this am to say controllers do not work was told to bring in controllers so they can replace them asked if we needed the console as well was told No (within our 24 purchase period and also bought the extended protection) drive over an hour to exchange the controllers get there they verify the controllers do not work and then told us they need the console to exchange the controllers. So I am now driving over an hour home and then back over 5 hrs lost 4 2 PS5 controllers. Customer Service at this at this location is awful

Came to pick up my rings that I had pawn at this location and they returned them very dirty and with black markings that looked like ink. Xotchil was nice and tried fixing the problem and did say that the cart board that was placed in the bag had writting on it and that s how they could ve gotten the ugly markings. But toad looking melody insisted to insinuate that my rings had been pawned like that, I kept explaining to her that my rings stay in a protection jewelry box inside my safe box she wouldn t shut up and kept insinuating that I pawned them like that showing no care or respect what so ever towards my belongings.

I trusted this company to give me a loan on some jewelry I had. I made monthly payment to keep them safe until I saved up to get them out. I called them to make a payment this month and they dropped my loan and sold my stuff that had very sentimental value. I called the store manager crying because I had receipts showing I made a payment and she said sorry there is nothing we can do. I was literally in tears and she said Im not going to be yelled at and hung up on me. I was not yelling I was crying and begging her to help me get my stuff off the sales floor. Do not trust them with your stuff. Sadly I had to learn this the hard way.

Make sure you look really close if you shop here bc I purchased a protective plan and lost the receipt and theyre saying that I didnt and I absolutely know that I did and wasted hundreds of dollars and take a picture of the receipt bc your buying something used your paying for something that we was pawned b cc it has something wrong with it..so Im in hài2non working laptop from here.. seems I could be bought one really good one that actually works instead I feel cheated .Ive never purchased from a pawn shop without the protection plan.. funny they knew I had it when I first brought back this same laptop bc the buttons stuck in ..they obviously have a lot of customers but no they didnt put the protection plan in the system and I ABSOLUTELY KNOW I paid for it..fair warning

I went to this EZ pawn to purchase a TV, I get Home and the TV will not even cut on! I called EZ pawn told them I lived far away close to the airport what was the procedure for items that did not work they told me pretty much I was stuck with the item and they did not care because I did not get a five dollar protection plan however I was never offered this protection plan because the TV was cheap! Now the TV has a new home by the trash dumpster thank you easy pawn your service is horrible and your items do not work stop fooling the public!

If you want a place that has staff that have no knowledge or expertise, a place that tries to sell merchandise thats defaced/damaged, this is the spot for you. Oh and they apparently think 1080p LED flatscreen televisions are hard to connect to. Steer clear unless you need money for your meth habit.

If you are reading this review, then I would suggest looking at the very recent reviews versus ones several months ago on this store. Most of the employees that generated those good reviews are no longer at this store. And if you look at any other EZ Pawn location review, you will never see the general rating much over about 3 stars. There used to be a few employees here including the former manager that were good customer people. Theyre gone and this store is back to the normal lousy EZ Pawn experience. Ive done business with EZ Pawn for 7 years. I have a very high pick up rate for loans, and I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on merchandise. I have had some good experiences with EZ Pawn. But Ive also had a lot of experiences that range from bad to very bad to flat out negligent. And Ive never left a bad review even when they deserved it. This time I had employee make some comments about my layaway that I knew wasnt true. Its particularly offensive when you standing there giving them your business, and they make a few statements that I happen to know are not store or corporate policy. Its a genuine and real INTEGRITY ISSUE. And this isnt the first time, so now Im leaving a review. Not to get anyone in trouble, but so the public will read this review and know to be cautious. Integrity is an issue with EZ Pawn not only with employees, but Ive also experienced it with management. To be fair, there are some good people at EZ Pawn. However, EZ Pawn is a huge corporation, and upper management crushes employees at the store level with corporate policy. Extending even good customers any courtesy outside of those policies is frowned upon, even when its a good or right thing to do and better overall for the store and making more money for the company as a whole. Its stupid. Take your business elsewhere. Overall, you will be glad you did that. PS. EZ Pawn management has the ability to set alerts on customers accounts impacting their ability to do business with them. Typically these are security measures, but I know of real instances where the alert comments were used to raise suspicions unfairly. If I discover this activity on my account, I will inform the general public of this also.

Im not sure what happened to this store or what led it to go downhill so fast but ever since one employee left I havent even seen the other few employees that were nice here and enjoyable to talk to, you know who they are. This is definitely the best pawn shop Ive personally been to. Wayne is beyond fair with lending and his generosity is just amazing. I recommend going to this place for a good fast loan and super friendly service!

OK, I usually only leave a single review for a business but I was in yesterday and once again I was given excellent service by the staff and especially Wayne the manager. I have seem other managers come and go from this location over the years and you have someone now who cares both about the store as well as the customers and it shows. Wayne is a keeper so do not let him go anywhere. As long as I get service like this I will always come back, Way to go EZ Pawn. Wow this place is the best of all expansive. The manager Wayne gave me and my family great service. Everyone needs to go see Wayne for great deals and great customer care. UPDATE Just wanted to say that I was in on Friday and once again I had a great experiance. Guys seriously you need to do something special for this store, they are the ones the everyone is going to. They give excellent service and I love the great customer service. Get these people to train everyone else and EZ Pawn will be #1.

Syl is the most helpful female I ve met in the ezpawn industry. I live 10 minutes away and she s worth coming down here for. I value this female worker. You want GREAT value? Just go in on a day when Syl is working. You want an extremely pleasant experience? Just go talk with Syl. Come check her out if you havent. Nobody can take her place. Check her out! She is really good to negotiate with, and you wont feel bad with the leaving results.

Wayne is the coolest dude I ve met in the ezpawn industry. I live 20 minutes away and he s worth coming down here for. I value this guy. I went to this EZPAWN with my mother earlier today, and we had the most wonderful employee, Marla, help us. She was very attentive and gave us some amazing deals; but most importantly... she was very courteous and friendly. The hospitality she showed was incredible. I hope she helps us again in the future! P.S - the deals at this location are great! I found a JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker for my little brother at this location for a great deal!

Y.G. Is the best she is always so clear in describing exactly what you needs to be done her store is north of 285 and federal in Sheridan there s one by a gas station pass that one and go to the north one being Where YG is.
