Im not a member of this bank but I use their shared services. The teller had made a mistake and I didn’t see it until I got home. Money was taken out of 2 accounts when it should of only been one. Tanner the branch manager was very nice and helpful and corrected this issue very quickly. He knew how to handle an upset customer! Thank you so much and thank you tellers for finding the mistake also! I appreciate it. I will still come here for their great service.

I came into security service Federal credit Union on West Quincy avenue in littleton. Tangie Padilla was very helpful. Ive got an overdraft fee that is pretty much recurring, as Im struggling financially. She was kind enough to reverse a couple of these, which will put food on the table for my family and me. Also took care of a cashiers check quickly and efficiently because she saw I had my daughter in tow, and was clearly overwhelmed. My wife and I opened new accounts the past month. We were extremely pleased by the help of Denise, Emily, Haley, and Tangie with the different accounts and Tanner the Manager was also extremely helpful in explaining other benefits the Credit Union offers. Have never been to a Bank, Savings n Loan or Credit Union where everyone was Courteous, Friendly, and Helpful. Some people have bad days but you would never know it when you walk into SSFCU on Quincy. Having employees such as they are, SSFCU should commend them and be proud that they represent SSFCU. We went to the branch on 7800 w Quincy , met with Dora on 11/21/23. She answered questions and went beyond her expectation to make sure we were happy and understood all the criterias. It was a very pleasant time that we had together to make sure everything went smoothly. Dora Logan was a terrific help to me and my husband today. She stayed past closing time so that I could close on a car loan. So patient and kind answered all our questions and went above and beyond. I look forward to doing business with her again. I couldn t have been more pleased at her customer service skills, and would be happy to refer family and friends.

I have spent a lot of time at my credit union in the last few weeks. If anyone is lucky enough to have Karen as their teller I know they would be truly blessed and leave there with a smile on their face. Shes upbeat and always greets you like shes known you forever. My dad recently moved to Colorado and opened an account at this branch. He raved about how nice everyone was to him. He even bought car insurance through them because he got such a great deal.

I love this credit union! The staff at the Aurora branch is absolutely wonderful. They are always patient, kind, and knowledgeable. We have several accounts here and the staff always goes out of their way to help us no matter what the request. Highly recommended.

It takes exceptional Customer Service to uphold a 5 Star Rating - I would venture to say - we all would agree. Thats exactly what we received. We have had SSFCU for several years now as holders of our Loans. Going through the process as anyone who has, can be time consuming & at times gruesome. We have had 3 outstanding Loan Officers that have given exceptional Customer Service - Id like to mention 1 that went above & beyond. Randy Marzan - When we first started the process, as most know, it is somewhat laborious, even if you have all the info that is needed. Randy with his personable character, made this process go very smoothly. His personal touch, his calm & kind voice (as we had to do this virtually BTW) was welcoming under the conditions of being on the phone & in a video call for about an hour. When we got one done & it closed out, we came back for more - He was who we went to. - Again, this agent was exceptional. So if youre in the market to do some refinancing or wish to take out a loan now days - we HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Mr Randy Marzan. I would recommend this branch for a personal touch with banking. The assistant manager assists my mother through her hard times not being able to get to the branch. Never met her in person but she treats my mother like her own. The branch is always pleasant and courteous. Thank you

Took mom through drive thru, teller rude, asking a 74 yr old member to complete a straight deposit slip, no cash back, telling her where she can find deposit slips, what happened to courteous tellers helping out, quicker for the teller to stamp deposit only on the back and just deposit it!

I tried to get hold of a live human being, that appears to be a impossible thing. NONE of your selections met my need, I had a branch specific question. Your auto systym hung up on me. Guess you dont want my business anymore, Ill be searching for a new bank.

Im 16 and got my first job so I needed to opene my first bank account and I was referred by Tangie at the Littleton branch. I was nervous since I never had a bank account and didnt really know what I needed. When I got there for my appointment they let me come inside and everyone welcomed me so nicely! Karen, the representative that was helping me was great and answered every question I had. When I left everyone said bye, waved, and welcomed me back. I felt so much better when I had left. What a great experience and what great service! Thank you everyone at the Littleton branch!

Took my name off 1 account, closed my other daughters account, and they closed another of my checking accounts that I didnt ask them to or even know about. No signature, nothing, just gone. Otherwise, its not too bad. Update - about an hour after posting, I got a call and they reopened tthe account and are looking into what happened to begin with. Thank you!

Customer service is okay but I have been a member for 20 years and still get confusing answers about deposits. My checks are still held for longer than I can cash them at other banks, they have barely any locations. The shared branches make things worse unless you use cash. You can t deposit money in shared branch locations. Security service kind of make credit unions awful.

I have been with this bank for about 4 years now and have always been impressed with their customer service and professionalism. I recently moved to Aurora and found that the branch here is the same way. This tells me that they have a sound corporate policy and an emphasis on putting me, the customer, first. I banked with another bank who would ask me (out of all the other people in line) to show my I.D. when making a deposit, without taking cash out. It was a huge sigh of relief that Security service Federal Credit union is not this way. Overall, as an engineer, I just want to deposit my money and go on with my day. Thank you for a great 4 years, thus far.

I was seriously considering opening an account (several actually) with this credit union mostly because a friend of mine has an account here and our paychecks are deposited 5 days earlier than the credit union I am currently with. However, based on the comments I ve read here I will not doing so now. The positive comments I ve read are not recent most 2+ years old and the recent comments are all pretty much negative. Sounds like they really need to improve upon their customer service. When it comes to where our money resides we really need to be sure the bank or credit union we choose would protect it as if it s as important to them as it is to us. I am not unhappy with my current CU, I would just like the money I work hard for to be available to me at the earliest as possible time.

Love this Bank!!! They are always there to help me and are very polite. I had a couple accounts with them and Chase. After working with them for over two years I moved my accounts from Chase to SSFCU. No need to work with any other financial institition. Once my kids are of age they will also have accounts with them.

Theyre friendly enough, but Ive had several fraudulent purchases made on my account. The first time, I caught it right away and went to talk to them about it (someone in CA made a purchase while I was at work for weight-loss supplements). They confirmed that it was fraudulent, and said Id have my money back within 60 days. Were going on 90 days now, and the money still hasnt been returned to my account. There were also 2 purchases made in WA (havent been there in 7 years), but I can only see 1 of those purchases on my online profile. The 2nd can be seen on the printed statement they sent me via mail, but I cant see it online, and they cant see it online. The teller told me she would call some higher-ups about it and call me back the next day; I have yet to hear from her about it. Not to mention the amount they say I have online is never the same as what I keep track of in my own records--I stay on top of them. So since theres a purchase shown on my physical statement and not on my online account, Im wondering if this isnt a thing that happens more often and thats why my numbers never match up. Im closing my accounts with them tomorrow. Sketchy behavior and practices, no follow-up, meh customer service.

If I could give a negative star I would. I am so dissapointed in this credit union. Not branch specific but in general. Last week when I got paid I went to pay my rent and my card declined. Looked online and I had 800 dollars missing from my account as a debit memo. Thinking someone stole my money....I left work and rushed to this location as it was the closest. After me crying, they figuringout what happened they told me they took it. I said why? They said my savings account was negative from a transfer I made a month ago. I said thats impossible because I never use my savings. Only time I do is if I am at work I use the atm by my office. Which I did the month prior. Well that atm will only let me access my savings acct. So sometimes if I have to pay rent I transfer 800 from my checking to my savings to pay my rent with cash. Pulled the cash fine. However...SSFCU states that yes I transferred MY MONEY that afternoon but when they opened I didnt have 800 in my checking. Umm....yea I said ...because i transferred it to my savings and pulled it from the atm. The teller printed out my statement and argued with me showing me how that morning I had the 800 in my checking, transferred to my savings, showed me my atm withdrawl...Then she said but when we went into your account the 800 was not there. Again...because I transferred it. She kept telling me I didnt have 800 when I pulled it and I kept pointing to the statement SHE PRINTED out showng how I had 1700 in my account, transferred 800 and took it..leaving my balance at 900. I repeatdly showed her the 900. I said how are you saving I didnt have 800 in my account when I had 1700, took 800 and then my balance was at 900 for a week and a half after that. There was ni negative balance. So why make my account negative 800? Long story short they kept arguing with me, would not give MY MONEY BACK because they keep saying I didnt have it in my account when I did all while they held the proof I had it lol. Told me my only option was to take out a line of credit, refinance my car loan or got a credit card. I said if I didnt have the money technically how could you let someone just pull it from an atm? She said we wouldnt. EXACTLY MY POINT!!!! I cant just transfer invisible money and pull invisible money from an atm if it isnt there in my account. I am now taking this hire up in the ladder. I will get my money back and when I am done....i will close all 4 of my accounts and be taking my business else where. So dissapointing in a bank I have been with since 2006. They steal peoples money without authorization and claim they have the right too do so. They have done this on 2 other accounts as well. This just so happened to be the the largest amount and I am beyond upset. The ONLY time they refunded me my own money was when there was fraud on my account from someone in Texas. Never again will I bank through them. Rethink your choice to do so too!!

If you have loans with them and a checking account, they will take money out of your checking account without your permission. They dont wait for you to pay, they instead go in and write themselves a check. They will tell you that they have the right to offset your account anytime. When you open an account with them, part of what you sign stipulates that they have more rights to your money then you do while you have an account with them. Then theyll wait for you to call them in order to reverse the double payment.

The staff isnt very warm. They are just ok. I have been with them a number of years, and only one has bothered to know my name. They lack a professional touch. I had fraud twice one on a checking and my Social Security card. I make sure I take my money off of my SS card as soon as it is deposited. In both cases I got my money back, but what a pain!!! Some how the transfer of money, or at least the name the credit union was involved. I have stayed because it is so near me. If I find another credit union that at least offers on free checking account, with some perks, I might just move. I just dont feel a connection.
