EZPawn is a fair prices and fair offers for a Pawn shop. The staff for the experiences I've had is friendly and helpful. Tho the location is not in the best spot ( homeless & dope heads ) never been bothered but have seen a few drama. Just keep your eyes open.
Tho over all a fair place to do business.

We came here @ 6:42 pm to look at some tool and the manager was standing at the door saying that they close @ 7:00pm but don't let anyone else at the store. We were were surprised that the whole front of the store was recently shot at with all of the windows being broken. We felt unsafe after taking a look around, but we were upset that we were there to buy tools and we couldn't even come inside the store. We highly recommend that the manager is relieved of her job and update your actual operating store hours.

This an update to my review below this comment.
The corporate office responded to my review below and I replied back. That was 2 weeks ago. I have not received any response about the switch-a-roo this store pulled with the battery for my drill. This company doesn't have any concern about the people they employee stealing from their clients. I can only do so much to get what was mine replaced.

GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION OR COMPETING PAWN SHOP BEFORE GOING HERE......I will NEVER do business with this ez pawn again. I recently got a loan on a cordless circular saw, drill and 2 chargers. After paying off my loan I left the store with my tools without checking the condition of them, BIG MISTAKE. When I tried to use the drill the battery was dead so I obviously tried to charge it. It wouldn't charge on either of the chargers. Obvious deduction indicates the battery is defective. Obviously they don't pawn power tools that don't work. Obviously my good battery was swapped with a defective one.

You can see in the pics that its not the chargers or my power outlets that are the problem.

You can also see the difference in the condition of the battery compared to the drill. The battery has obvious wear and tear compared to the drill.

The serial # of the battery in question was never recorded on the invoice.
Pawn shops are supposed to do include that information on all items with serial numbers.
It might be this company's common practice to skip this procedure for illegitimate reasons.

Of course since I didn't check the tools before leaving the store I have no way of proving that it was switched. I have never had an issue with this store before so I assumed there would be no issues. I now have to buy a new battery since its my word against theirs. Judging by the 3.7 star rating I'm sure others have had similar problems here.

came in yesterday to pawn my tool set for a quick 20 tor gas as Ive done many times in recent months, same deal 20 dollars for my socket set I get it out by the end of the week, this time I got the weird looking pale bald dude, so he doesnt just look weird, he is very volatile, maybe forgot to take his meds, so this is how the interaction goes I showed him my tool set he drops all sockets I have to put them back in, than he asks how much Im trying to come up with, I say 20 he says maybe 15, I say give me my ID back I dont know why you are playing, if I have a record of paying back with in a few days, and the dude went nuts, Im trying to leave and like a movie he starts to tell me to get out he is calling the cops, but like I stole something not a rational response to Im taking my business else were give me my ID so I can leave, I feel like I need a written apology

This place is awful. Becareful if you pawn power tools here. You wont get the same accessories back when you get them out of pawn. Of course management swears up and down they would never do anything like this. They convieniently didnt write all the serial numbers down. Charger and battery mysteriously dont work, but when they were pawned they worked just fine. Cant pawn them if they dont and they test them in front of you when they take them in. Now a days you cant even trust a business anymore. They are stealing from their customers. Reporting to the BBB and the Attorney General.

One of the greatest experiences Ive had in a pawn shop. The staff is wonderful I go there every week just to see all the cool things they end up getting. Roberto went above and beyond to help me find the items I was looking for. Give the place a try even though the area itself is not very desirable.

Just bought a Peavey KB-100 keyboard/bass amplifier for reasonable bucks. I brought my bass (which I got from E. Colfax EzPawn) staff helped me test the amp & it worked with no problems. A heavy beast, the rep got a dolly to wheel it out to my car. Thanks for the help. Weight indicates solid construction & big speaker magnet. I will be installing wheels on the bottom. I enjoy shopping at pawn shops, especially this one. Several years ago, I bought a beautiful Ovation acoustic bass here. It was like new for a good price. Ill be back.

This is the worst service Ive ever had I pawned a couple items which took nearly an hour because one employee was off then the next employee had no idea what he was doing while other employeeskept asking questions about other transactions. I heard they accept loans for fire arms and was told because my gun didnt have the type of gun written on it they couldnt take it. Very unknowledgeable employees. It had the serial number on the it I had the recipe patent number they were very ignorant. Do not go here

Dont go to this pawn shop. They think theyre Pawn Stars and will rip you off at every turn. I went in looking for a loan on a ASUS gaming computer 1TB, 12GB RAM, 12GB GRAM, RTX 3080, WITH RECEIPT. They tried to offer me $100 loan. I laughed in their face and got a $700 loan somewhere else. They had an Oculus quest 2 they were selling for $10 less then new. And yesterday I was looking at a PS5 they have for sale for $700. I literally went to Walmart and bought a bundle for $550. This place needs to be closed down

Came in last minute right before the snow, needing money for a security deposit on a vehicle so that I could go to work tonight (I drive for Uber). Robert (store manager) was amazing and extremely kind. After I explained the situation, he agreed to take my items, worked with me on the amount of the loan, and even stayed past closing time to finish my transaction. Amazing customer service from all three of the individuals working this evening.

I saw a man wearing a shirt wrapped around his head and face (but not his torso) do some pretty sweet knife tricks with a small piece of wood here the other day. It was right in front of the door when I walked in, pretty cool stuff.

I have never been to a worse pawn shop the place is filthy and littered with junkies outside begging for cash when I went in they took my license and never gave it back got home to realise they stole my ID went in the same day talked to the same girl and she claimed to have never seen me in her whole life they need to get organized

This place offered me 100 dollars for a mint guitar worth 1500 dollars would not give me my drivers license back would not even humor me with a serious offer and when I ask them for my license they say we dont have it without even looking or asking my name and apparently they never even made me an account so they stole my license for nothing this was all in the same visit

The staff at EZPAWN were great. it wasnt busy I got in and out rather quickly. the only problem is the homeless that like to hang around outside at the bus stop and around the building. they leave trash everywhere

Today at this location I was helped by a man named Jonathan, and another lady I did not catch her name. She was a pretty Hispanic lady. Typically the store has great staff all the time, but these two today were off the charts exemplary!! They took the time to answer each and every one of my questions, to get out diamond testers and let me test all the rings that I wanted to. And they even gave me a great deal on a leaf blower, A ring, and A powered subwoofer for my truck! I cannot speak highly enough about these two people, Jonathan especially! If I was the owner of this store in particular I would be recognizing that man for what he does for my business. As well as doing everything I could to ensure he did not leave! I will have to say that the store selection was pretty meager today. I think its because theyre going through a remodel of some sorts. However this review is not about the stores inventory, it is about those two employees. Jonathan in particular! Great job jonathan, great job! You keep up the hard work bud

I went into Ez pawn and had tons of questions about my layaway and loans. I ask a lot questions so usually Im not easy to deal with just being honest. Although they were busy around 6ish , because like myself people come in at the last minute trying to do business Laura literally assisted me gracefully and explained to me how I could pay on my layaway via cash or debit card. Aslo Laura explained the warranty and the detailed perks in getting the warranty which is something I knew nothing about . Ive been into many pawnshops and sadly no one broke down the specifics of how warranty benefits the buyer as Laura explained. Im happy to say my experience dealing with laura is why I would return here. I do have a few honorable mentions I must add ..Amanda is has been my go to since my first visit to this location..She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in sale and communication.She is my go to and we all have our favorites.Odessa was very helpful when I needed to ask questions today which was the first time I met her. Jt is the new guy and he was great at answering questions as well.

LAURA THE MANAGER treats customers very Badly. She even treats her employees Badly right in front of us people who been waiting inline for 45 min or so . Im a Regula Customer for EZ Pawn for Many Years and always had business with them. But after how i was treated today Ill never go back To EZ Pawn Ever again. Im taking my Money and Business Elsewhere. FYI What ever you do . Try to Avoid Laura the Manager. She favors and smiles at some customers while she gives a straight look with a Grumpy face at others. I feel sorry for EZ Pawn. They can do better and hire a Better Manager... EZ Pawn. Youll Keep Losing Money if you keep Laura working for you. Im been doing business with you guys for years. But im Taking my Money and business Elsewhere. Where i get Treated like a human

Ive had 2 interactions with this store and their customer service is terrible, youll wait in line for 45 mins, and if you call with a question, i just spoke with amanda and she gave me a snarky response and hung up on me within 5 seconds before i could even finish talking. Do not reccomend

Im always popping into pawn shops randomly to check on watches and jewelry. I was stopped in this location last week and had the pleasure of doing business with the manager Robert. This man was a total class act and stand up guy. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of the items I was interested in was great as well. Ill definitely be a repeat customer. Went in there to sell a brand new gaming computer as I had switched to a gaming laptop for portability, the computer itself was custom built with 16 gigs of RAM one terabyte of memory 500 gig solid state drive i7 3.5 GHz. Custom lights the works, Just the computer itself was $1, 200. I paired it with a gaming keyboard that cost $100 and a 32-in curved gaming monitor that cost almost $200.THE OFFER: 150.00. Then the manager comes over and says they can raise it to 250...... They said because of my customer profile from 2012 in a completely different state on the other side of the country, where I didnt come back and pick something up they could only offer me that amount I wasnt even pawning I was selling. The only reason they got two stars is because the gentleman I was working with was extremely nice and polite (other than the whole trying to rip me off thing) and the manager did bump the offer up to 300 all said and done but really about $1,500 worth of brand new excellent condition gaming electronics for 300 bucks you be the judge.

Yesterday was a terrible day for me especially everything going on with covid-19 but coming to this location honestly made my day that much better. Theres alot of new faces but everyone was great! Amanda greeted me right away and Angel took care of my loan, was very helpful, friendly and had a great sense of humor, could have easily mistaken her for management, she had me smiling even when I couldnt smile most of my day and that means alot Will definitely be bringing my business here above all other locations, keep up the great work Ez pawn!!

I waited on the line for my turn and when I passed the girl kept talking with her partner and after 10 minutes, annoyed, she asked me for my ID I was just going to return something I bought and said she did not understand my way of speaking, then she said something to her to his partner and laughed and showed the finger. I will never return to that place I had my daughters with me.
