I met Ben and Chad back in 2018, where they helped guide me through the purchase of my first home. They've also been the mortgage team that did my refinance of the same home. I just bought my first ever home and was super nervous about the entire process until I found the guys at Colorado Mortgage Team. They answered all of my questions no matter at which time I called, texted or emailed and worked relentlessly to make the experience smooth & fun for me.

The Colorado Mortgage Team was referred to by a friend who used them as well. My husband and I weren't really looking at refinancing at the current time due to high interest rates. However, we called Chad and discussed four options that worked with monthly budgets and interest rates. We refinanced our mortgage and closed very quickly. I found Colorado Mortgage Team based on its online reviews and can now confirm they're legit. I recently bought a new home using a VA loan through them and can't say enough good things. This wasn't my first home, so I shopped around and contacted several companies in the Denver area before choosing a lender. First off, I found that the Colorado Mortgage Team was offering the best pricing. They also began strategizing with me from the VERY FIRST CALL on how I could maximize my purchase power and look at options like buying down my rate. This is a big deal in a competitive seller's market because there are levers that can be pulled to make an offer more attractive. When it came time to buy, the team was constantly available and ready to assist. I can't overstate their patience and willingness to help, even during crazy holiday times and weekends. As a company, they also go out of their way to honor veterans with added benefits, which was really above and beyond their already excellent service. I'm very glad I went with them. Before you just go with some nameless bank suggested by your realtor, consider that having a good lender is really an important part of the home buying process. I don't ever write reviews unless the service was really bad. I just don't use them anymore. However, this IS different. I can not rest until I let new potential home buyers know that there are options and there are top-notch options! This is where the Colorado Mortgage Team comes in. I have never, ever worked with such a professional and caring team until the end and then some. In other words, they don't leave you hanging dry. They guide you into the right direction and support you all the way through. This is my second VA home loan purchase. I was using my previous mortgage company for a new home, but once I clearly saw how they worked, I dropped my previous mortgage company immediately. In fact, I almost ignored them and thought they were no different. Was I wrong! I felt like a student learning every aspect of the loan, what other options are available, process, decisions, and everything you can think of. Now, I have no choice but to admit that I was very clear about every decision I made. I can't come up with an excuse that I didn't understand what I was doing or that they never told me this or that. And it feels good knowing that.

**2024 Update** Wow! Chad and the CO Mortgage team are STILL exceeding my expectations. We just passed our mortgage loan anniversary and as promised, they called and reviewed my loan standing to see if I should stay put or make some financial moves (refinancing, equity changes, etc). The monthly reports on where my home stands in the market and in my neighborhood are always something I look forward to also. UPDATE: As of January 2024, one year after closing on our condo, The CMT called us on our anniversary and automatically reviewed our mortgage rates to make sure we had the best possible payment plan. It was so helpful as we werent sure how that process is supposed to go, and they made it so we feel confident that they have our best interests in mind! My partner and I were introduced to this company via our real estate agent and my goodness, we definitely made the right choice in both realtor and mortgage team! John was our main point of contact and he was so patient through the whole process with all of the questions and he was more than willing to repeat information as many times as we needed to make sure we understood all of the information. Denise was another contact we worked with and she was very helpful and quick to respond as well. The entire team, regardless of who we ended up speaking to at any time of day, was so kind and helpful and transparent, it really made buying our first home so much easier and with minimal stress from other people Ive spoken to about their home buying experiences. This team was very very exceptional to work with. They were very efficient in getting my clients approved for a loan so we could get out and look at properties. Their communication skills are second to none. They have kept us informed throughout the whole process. There were no hiccups. The clear to close was seven days prior to closing !!! They got us a low interest rate and were our lender for the sale and purchase of our house so we were in constant communication. Do yourself a favor and opt out of the stress most people have in financing a home. Everything they promised and more: these are the best kind of good people, doing truly exceptional work. Our experience with the Colorado Mortgage Team has been exceptional! Chad and his team were readily available to us and made it a priority to make sure we were well informed of all of our options as well as providing some options we didn t know we had. The home buying process can be stressful at best so it was very nice to feel comfortable and have an understanding of what actually goes on throughout the process of getting a mortgage. The team is personable and we definitely had more than a few laughs during our time together. Chad and the Colorado Mortgage Team were recommended to us by our realtor. We were told that if we went with Chad we would be treated like family. This notion is one that I feel gets overused in business and you often do not end up being treated like family. However, this couldnt have been further from the truth with the Colorado Mortgage team. Chad was kind, patient and transparent with us through the entire process. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Chad was quick to educate and explain things that we didnt quite have a grasp on. It was clear to us after a few interactions that we were on the same team and that Chad had our backs. Highly recomend using this Team. From start to finish they were there to help us in the Loan process. I liked the Friday calls letting us know which agent was our contact for the weekend. Once we narrowed down our home choices, the Mortage calculator was a very usefull tool. It broke down the payment into a very easy to understand format. I dont think we could have hit more bumps and hiccups across the way but they did everything within the mortgage broker space and more to make my deal happen and help where they could. My financial position combined with other issues made me a complicated client and I knew I had to have a pro on my side to make my dream of being a homeowner in Denver a reality. They saved our bacon! The first mortgage lender my buyers had, had not even requested an appraisal, two weeks before closing! They had never communicated with the buyers about what the problem was and the buyers had no idea the file was just sitting there, until they called the lender! We moved the closing date out a month, but it was apparent to my buyers by then that the lender was not going to get this done! So they contacted The Colorado Mortgage Team. They stepped right in with less than 30 days, got the appraisal in the works, got the loan completed, and we met the closing date! They communicated with me as the Buyers Agent every step of the way! I began a refinance with AmericanFinancing 12/22/20.... they did say it would take alittle time as there was a backlog of people..... they kept delaying, delaying after every question, always saying soon! So a friend of mine recommended Chad. I contacted him on April 29, 2021 and was so impressed. He said he could get me done, without any hold ups, in 15 days or so. I stopped all refi with AmericanFinancing. Keep in mind DECEMBER toAPRIL, 4 months waiting.... May 18, I am closing!!!!! Yes, 20 days, and I cannot be happier...... The Colorado Mortgage Team did a great job of demystifying the mortgage process for a first time home buyer like myself. I was oftentimes on the phone with them after traditional office hours just so they could explain next steps and put my worries at ease. Chad used a super handy online visual aid that I had access to 24/7 and he would update the numbers per my request so I always had a clear picture of the financials. Not only that, but he kept his promises that the estimates were intentionally high - my closing costs came in over a thousand dollars under his estimates and that was a really wonderful surprise. Denise was super responsive to my concerns and did everything except hold my hand through the process of checking the boxes to get my to close. The team also holds themselves to a high professional standard. Due to no fault of the team, I ended up closing a single day later than was initially thought and I received a personal phone call apologizing to me for the mistake (which was of course a very minor inconvenience.) I would highly recommend the Colorado Mortgage Team to anyone looking for a new home.

They were very difficult to deal with. Always something else they needed. Took forever. Their commitment was conditional until the day before closing. 2 days before closing the came up with a new requirement. And then AT closing they required to sign a document giving them the right to sell your personal information and when asked if the form was required, the response from Chad Rogers, was If it is in the loan package, it is required if you want the loan. There are two many lenders out there who actually bend our to assist. These guys are not that, for sure.

The one thing I really liked about my last refi mortgage closing was my home value was submitted prior to an appraisal order & it was accepted. To me that is my loan officer thinking outside the box. It saved us a step and money during a time when getting approvals was difficult due to COVID-19. My loan officer, Clinton, also noted I had requested a refi and called me weeks later when the market was favorable. Clinton took time to invest in my best interest time frame. It made a huge financial impact that relived a lot of stress for our family when things could have been very difficult.

I recently purchased a home in Edgewater, Colorado. Chad, Clinton, and the rest of the team made the buying experience as easy and smooth as humanly possible! Their website, with its portal for uploading all the necessary documents, made the paperwork side very easy. There were regular updates with a checklist of what was left to do. They also provided amazing communication during the whole loan process. It felt truly personal, and I could feel that the whole team is passionate about what they do. I am incredibly grateful for these guys! We were working against the clock, and these guys helped me get to closing in just three weeks! A lot has changed since the last time I bought a house - it is no longer simple; a whole lot more gray and a lot less black and white. I was so overwhelmed in the beginning due to how fast everything was moving, and all the changes in the process had me insanely confused. I literally started to panic, and was honestly not the easiest person to deal with. But they somehow managed to explain everything so well that it calmed me down and gave me a sense of peace within the storm, which is not an easy feat when it involves this girl. Ive been taken advantage of quite a bit throughout my life, so I dont trust many people and it shows. But, sure enough, these guys ended up gaining my trust entirely and I am beyond grateful for all that they did for me. They honestly did 100% have my back, and I highly recommend them!

This team made buying our dream house a reality. At the time of closing, I looked back and couldn t believe how easy they had made the process. Chad is your best friend, confidant, encouraging mother, (he seriously makes you feel as comforted as a talk with you mom) and a great educated mentor through the complicated process. Best experience I have ever had working with a group of people. The main 2 helping me out, Clint Jordan (owner of cross fit bonnie and clyde) and Chad went above and beyond to audit assist me every step if the way. He worked with our realtor to submit our contract & loan approval docs on a Sunday night, on short notice, with barely minutes to spare -- and we got the house! Our realtor recommended Clinton because he consistently goes above and beyond for clients, even on a Sunday night at 8pm! He worked with us to consider our options on locking the interest rate and was clearly paying close attention to how global political developments might affect rates. He was good about calling proactively or calling back when we had questions. His team was responsive and helpful. Accountable. Professional. Quality. After starting out in the business as a buyer broker, I quickly realized not all lenders are created equal. Some watch deadlines to have the loan done on time. Some put in a little extra work to ensure buyers are actually qualified. Some know enough about loan compliance. Some can find loan solutions when Plan A falls apart.
