Bad and cheap customer service from the lady on the counter.. i was trying to sell my 14k gold ring 8.5 grams.. she offered me 150$ lol.. when a gram of 14k of gold is 34.50…. She even told me they buy gold by the gram.. lol so people watch out these location and educate your self before selling your jewelry. look for another location that will give the most money for your gold.. don't let these cheap places scam you.

I went in there, yesterday, to support a friend to get a specific type of bike and it seemed like Jonn was not in a good mood.

He came across as being cold and as though he did not want to be there. His customer service was, definitely slacking. I understand that people have bad days, but he left a bad taste in my mouth. I have done business there and I felt disappointed when I left. I am sure that he has to deal with very unpleasant customers and it’s seemed like my friend was getting the brunt of his frustration and anger with his bad experiences with those undesirable customers from the past.

I was actually there to support a friend (the mother of my children) who has struggled with an addiction for many years and he treated me with dignity and respect, but he treated my friend like she was nothing and beneath him. She has worked hard to get back on her feet and to maintain her sobriety after an addiction to a hard drug for 9 years.

It seemed as though he was judging her based upon how she looked because she was missing most of her teeth, and when he saw me, who is vibrant and husky and very presentable, he treated me with the upmost respect.

Unacceptable!!! The mother of my children was being very kind to Jonn and he treated her like crap as though she was beneath him.

When we went to another EZ Pawn on 72nd, they were nice and personable and friendly, and were smiling and treated both of us with dignity and respect.

I originally left a rating to get a hot dog so now, i HAVE to give a review! I was set to buy a camera, salesman told me they didn't have the charger but it's guaranteed to work or i can bring it back no problem. I said i could buy 1 within a few days to check if it works, he said just bring it back if it doesn't, no problem! I thought, cool, i reiterated this at the register and they told me it's only 24 hours. We confront the sales man together and he NOW, says 24 hours. Then he gets mad because he got called out trying to pull a fast one. I was going to get something else that works, but after his reaction, i didn't trust this place. These are the kinds of people that give honest shops a bad name. 👎

I've had a great experience here at this location every single time. Everyone there is so welcoming and polite and so very helpful and never seem bothered at all with any questions or help in general. Miss Kay was super helpful with the forms for the background check when I was picking up my long guns up from a loan I had on them. Greg got me a steal of a deal on an amazing gun on my last visit, Also Jason who helped the wife and I out today and we got such amazing deals on items we've really been wanting and needing. He made great suggestions and is such a personable positive guy! I would recommend visiting this store anytime you want a stellar experience.
Seriously this place rocks all around! (Update) 11-26-23 Mitch went above and beyond for me and the wife today and I got a hell of a steal on some great items. And Johnathan is always so nice and helpful

Consumer beware.. Jacob will offer more on a purchase than a loan, so your items will hit the sales floor in 30 days instead of 60, so he can buy items HE wants faster.... But hey dont worry if you ever have a loan drop .. check with Gregory this summer at the flea market, I am sure he will have your items if he can make a profit off you... THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND SOLD THE PRODUCT FROM UNDER ME. I am extremely disappointed. My wife and I put a guitar on layaway, and when I was out of town, went to make the next payment. The guy told her that because it was in my name that she couldn t make a payment or take it home. He told her that when I got back I could make a payment and take the guitar home. I just got back from my trip and they sold the guitar and then a different lady got extremely frustrated with me when I asked for a refund for the money we had already put down. They were extremely rude and condescending towards me saying that they only want money, so they would have allowed her to make a payment which was not the case. As someone who works in retail and customer service, I was extremely upset that I was treated the way I was. I usually try not to make a big fuss or leave negative reviews (everyone has bad days) but the complete and utter disrespect and disregard to how I was feeling, led me to write this. Long story short this store is scamming people of their money and anyone who sees this should walk as far away from this store as possible.

Trust the reviews. I didn t a wasted my time here. Don t waste your time selling here jewelry here. I brought in two rings one I paid $1200 for and the other $998 and they wanted to give me $140 in cash for both. I get it s a pawn shop but that s low ballin for sure. Either the rep who helped me didn t know what she was doing or they are just a cheap pawn shop. I have the receipt when I bought these two rings from Jared. That s barely 14% of the value of one ring

Ive shopped at multiple EZ pawns over the years. Ive gotten sunglasses, jewelry, electronics, etc... with little to no issues. I was helped by Jacob a while back at another location and he helped us out with some engagement rings. Since then hes gone to this location and I ran into him again. Jacob always keeps fresh jewelry and sunglasses, he definitely knows what to look for. Most customer service when buying is great, sometimes when pawning or selling however they can try to lowball you. Thats understandable as its a pawn shop and thats how pawn shops work. If you ever stop by this location make sure you see my man Jacob.

They lowball you is a joke, they rip you off. They say they cant sell the item for more than you ask for and would have to price it lower then your asking price. But I see no great pricing on their shelfs. They have things marked up so high its ridiculous. I guess Facebook marketplace is the way to go to get a fair price either to sell or buy. With Ez pawns marketing strategies how they stay in business is a mystery.

I went to this pawn shop with hopes of finding good-quality jewelry at a good price. Instead, I was left with a low-quality pair of earrings that was sold to me and labeled as something it wasnt. I bought a pair of earrings labeled as a 1.5-gram, 10kt white gold pair of earrings, only to later find that only half of the earring was real gold. When I took the earrings to get tested, I was told only the earrings themselves were real gold and not the backs as well. I was also told that the weight was nearly half of what it was labeled as. The staff was amazing and friendly, I just wish this would have been made clear before purchasing the earrings, as now the cheap metal is tarnished and turning green, which means their return policy is voided.

I got a loan on a ring I purchased at this store. When I got the loan they offered me 140 bucks but I took only 80. When I redeemed the loan I saw a ring that I really liked and asked how much he would give me trade in ...the other ring was 385. He only wanted to give me 120. I was willing to pay the difference but only if I would get the 140 off! He was rude and not much of a salesman. Thanks Robert the manager!

This pawn shop is by Far the Worst pawnshop around took my $1000 RC truck in for a loan came back a few months after words picked it up and someone an employee hooked Up the battery, played with it ended up breaking it drained my batteries down to nothing. Now after spending Hundreds Of dollars to get My truck Back I cant even do anything with it and the manager had no problem blowing me off. Or even cared about making things Right. Then denied the whole thing and hung up on me when I brought it up to him.

I am very impressed with this pawn shop. I don t normally leave reviews, but I had been to other ones and no one was willing to help me. But this young man named Greg was able to help me get the loan I needed. He was very nice to me and explained everything to me so I could understand. Thank you so much EzPawn!

I usually don t post these but I really would like to thank this young girl Anastasia she really helped and her personality she was so friendly very happy and extremely helpful she helped with all the information I needed and I have to say out of all the staff she was the most recognizable with her winning personality I wish more companies offered help with a smile way to go Anastasia I appreciate you.

This is a great place to shop, the customer service they provide is AMAZING, Drew went above and beyond his call of duty, it looked as if they were short staff, only 3 of them at the shop, but that didn t stop Brett, Anastasia and Drew from providing superior customer service!! They sure are an asset for EZ PAWN

Hey KAY!! Woot Woot!! She did an outstanding job with our purchase! Shes a awesome one to chat with. Honesty in a Pawn Shop .. hell ya!! First and foremost I want to take the opportunity to give props to Mr. Brett who works at EZ pawn and is mostly assigned to the gun department. Mr. Brett is knowledgeable respectful courteous I could go on and on and on but I dont have all day. In this day and time when there are so much stress going on it is almost impossible to find such excellent customer service. I really hope the owners and management at EZ Pawn know what they have. His knowledge base of firearms is incredible you can ask him anything he will show you anything. I dont know how else to express The importance of his attitude... Brett I dont know how much theyre paying you but they need to double that truly. God bless you sir !!!

I had such an amazing experience at this location anastasia is absolutely wonderful her customer service skills A1 ! She got me the money i needed with such a beautiful smile in her face ! I went into ezpawn looking for a firearm Mr. Brett Yamada really helped me out I told him what I was looking for and he explained everything to me and found me my perfect firearm. This place sold me a Galaxy s10 that was not fully paid off. When I tried to call my carrier they informed me that there s a pending amount of money that needs to be paid in full before I can set up my service for the phone. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Very unprofessional & disrespectful.
