I took a 50 Wyoming Goldback 1/20 Troy ounce see pics and he told me it was plated and without even looking it up or being professional with manners he ignored me and started to help the customer behind me. They don’t know what there talking about and worse they are rude every time I have gone there. I used to just ignore it because they were the best ones when they opened .Went from the best to worse pawn shop in Denver. What happened in the last 10 years ? Forget about taking your stuff there they only take the best pay the less you would get more selling it at a garage sale

Brought in a Macbook Pro that I'd bought last year at $4,200 and sought out a $550 loan on it, because I meant to pick it up. Bought my first "real" gold chain there. Staff was all kind, & courteous. They worked with me on pricing. Definitely a place to shop if you like to barter. Not to mention, from the weight of the chain, and the value I was getting..I began to sweat bullets. Then, a classy lady, offered me water, or soda. One of the last "True" merchants.

We needed help with an issue we had with another pawn shop (chain in Lakewood - they said they got robbed and our item was gone - told us to pay the balance of our loan and they would give us store credit). The owner was extremely empathetic and helpful - we were completely lost trying to read through CO laws to see if they were in the right. Thank you so much for your professionalism and help - yall have our business exclusively from now on! Highly recommend.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Didnt even walk into the store and I was being barked at for locking my bike up very unprofessional and theres and bunch of homeless hanging out front. Disgusting!

I was calling around to see how much shops were paying for American Silver Eagles. I couldn t believe my ears when I called Big Daddy ! Whoever answered actually had the nerve to tell me that they pay $3-$5 a coin! If they re going to rob people who are selling silver coins, don t be surprised that they ll rob you of whatever it is that you re trying to sell. Just so you have an idea about how absolutely ridiculous his offer was, about 20 min later I got an offer from an honest store, paying $26.90 per coin. These guys don t even deserve one star! I don t care how desperate you are for money, but please think about it, if you re going to sell anything to these shady people. I see there were responses to other reviews, so please explain why I was offered so little, Big Daddy

Just got some basic gold earrings from them. Their pricing is fair and they have a variety of options available at different price points. I felt my budget was catered to and the sales person was polite. I believe it was the owners husband who helped me and I like the fact it is a family operation.

Came in with a silver chain, 4 big statment silver rings and a $450 almost brand new wallet, Was looking for 1k+ today, got offered not even 100 for a ring bought for 650 (claims he saw resell value on ebay but i did my own research and found that to be completely false because there was absolutely nothing on any platform). Just sold it on offer up for 475 and another ring worth 350 that I was offered for 50 bucks here at big daddys and sold it for 270 today. Clearly the silver intricate art and statement pieces are worth more than the dull gold you have on display regardless of the metal its made of (saw nothing that stood out at all), glad I didnt take the 300 yall offered for 4 statement rings and i get to keep 2 of my favorites. Oh and that no brand silver chain you told me is almost worthless has a brand behind it but only If you know, shouldve checked my reciept, Im about to sell for 400 (bought for 500). Easy. All you need is receipts and the boxes they came with. Practically brand new. smart to not take risks on the unknown but at least spend time to examine whats infront of you compared to what else you have in store. The demand for flashy statment is worth more than the metals. Just look at hyper luxury pieces selling for thousands and its out of recycled material, or on a fast fashion network. In conclusion, try other online platforms before committing to not just this pawn shop but others as well.

over the years since they opened until now, of all the many pawn shops in Denver, These guys have never offered me a fair price. its basically %400 mark up instead of the usual 3, with %250 being the middle ground. This is whats happening when they offer you $200 for your $800 item. Theyre a rip off and the stuff they sell is overpriced. Never going there again.

I had never seen in my life cheaters like this pawn shop I bought a drum machine from them for the church and i wanted to take it back because it was kind of small to the once the church wanted. But this guys said we can t change or refund the money. What they wrote on the policy it s a total lie . So be careful when going to this shop. They just want money no customer care . It s a family business but be careful with the people you employ.

I was down on my luck. I needed a loan to pay some bills. So I went to big daddys pawn shop and they were able to help me out with a loan. Tim was very helpful and understanding. I wish I could recommend this shop, but I absolutely cannot. I have dealt with shops which charge late fee s and practice good business techniques such as calling the customer before their items are forfeited. This is NOT one of those stores. They claim they sent a reminder card which I never received and they claimed they called on the due date, which they did, but at close of business so their was no chance of paying on-time with a reminder. I was in New York taking care of my father who had COVID and while I was there they sold all the items I had pawned 11 days after I was late. Had they called me, I could have sent someone down to pay the interest and late fee s and they could have earned a multiple of what they got for my items. This shop is extremely predatory. They do not care about their customers. To directly quote the owner today we only care about turning over the money . That says everything. If you value your items and you need a shop that cares about you even a little, go some place else. Do not fall prey to the charismatic sales person telling you they want to help you out. That is a straight up lie. I regret ever walking through their door.

I have had not one but now two distasteful experiences at this pawnshop, They repaired a diamond tennis necklace and mine and soldered the two diamonds together instead of repairing it properly basically Ruining the necklace and then a few months later I tried to buy an item from them two minutes before they closed and they told me to leave and come back tomorrow because they didn t want to deal with the transaction!!!

Spent about 30 minutes looking for an engagement ring and found the perfect one! Great selection on diamond rings and other precious gems. Sapphire with 2 diamonds and white gold was $260! Had a lay away option as well. Very attentive employees and answered all of our (silly) questions. Very clean store and not at all intimidating like I thought pawn shops were. Highly recommend, these guys are awesome

I love this place! On Friday, I needed money very quickly for an emergency situation. I was hesitant to go to a pawnshop as I didn t know what to expect because I d never been to one before. UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. I went in to check out their gold and silver coins. When I found interesting pieces the manager or owner would change the price that was listed on the tag. Literally, the price on the tag was $300ish dollars and then he jumped it up to $600ish dollars. When I asked him about the changing of prices, he said that he adjust prices according to the current spot price, regardless of whats listed on the tag. I was shocked at his lack of ethics. They do not honor their own prices... As I left the store the manager or owner loudly mumbled what does she expect, for me to give my stuff away?? He was loud enough for me to hear him several feet away. This was my first and last experience at this shop. Other shoppers be aware, this store has POOR SERVICE AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.

Very rude and arrogant. I drove out of my way to check out their store and they had a $100 sword listed for $500. When I asked if they had a certificate or other documentation showing why the sword was worth the amount they told me that they were the experts and knew more than I as a collector knew. I verified online and it was only worth <$100. I will never waste my time with that store again.

My husband and I were in a financial situation where we needed some cash quickly. Being new to the Denver area and never having to use a pawn shop, I looked up pawn shops and found Big Daddys Jewelry and Pawn. We gathered together some items that we thought were of value (including our wedding rings) and proceeded to Big Daddys. We were not sure what to expect once we walked in and were a bit nervous as we had never done this before. We were greeted by Tim, who explained the entire process to us. He carefully looked at all our jewelry and took his time to tell us what each piece was worth and why some jewelry has a more significant pawn value than others. He asked us how much we were looking to get, and he was able to make that happen. Tim made the entire process painless. If you ever need cash, I highly recommend Big Daddys Jewelry and Pawn. They treat you as a person who has hit a rough patch and not someone who is just looking for a payout.

It had been a while since I was last in the store. However, Tim and Jaz treated me as if no time had passed. Big Daddys has a large amount of quality of items. From TVs, jewelry, gaming equipment, and many other items. I was taken back by an argumentative older women there. She was abrupt and it was uncomfortable, but Tim continued helping me in a calm and collected manner. I am very impressed with the store and the overall customer service and professionalism. I will definitely return.

I went to a couple other local pawn shops trying to get a loan on an iPad pro which I assumed would be no problem, however it was not the case. After being turned away and disregarded and honestly just being treated like I was an idiot for even thinking that I could get a loan on an iPad, not only did the fine folk at big daddy pawn loan on my iPad they were incredible helpful in every way. Helped me with a couple other loans that went better than any pawn experience ive ever had. They were friendly, courteous, straight forward, and extremely fair. I suggest everybody come to them for their pawn shop needs. I know I will from here on out.

Completely painless and I felt like I got an extremely fair price for the electronics I was trading. I worked with three different people and all three were equally terrific! Will definitely be back. (Also they have two free parking spots that are usually open).

Tim (and I dont think I ever caught the other gentlemans name who took care of me) but, they both were so helpful and made me feel comfortable with the terms of my loan. I ve never actually rated any businesses before, but I m taking the time to write this because it s the first time I ve actually felt inclined to do so. Went by there today (was actually my second time since moving to Denver) and the behavior and comments I witnessed from a customer (actually a couple) was absolutely horrendous and disgusting. Obviously there was a bit of a mix up, which they were trying to resolve; however, this couple wanted absolutely nothing to do with it or showing respect. The f word was used repetitively (and loudly I might add) The man proceeded to call the young lady and her family heartless and said they did it on purpose because they just wanted their money, and that they don t help people at all. I want to say this same young women offered me an extra 5 dollars on my already pretty low loan, because I told her that was all I had until Friday. She specifically said, would an extra 5 dollars help sweetie and of course I said yes. If that isn t helpful and the opposite of selfish, I m not sure what is. Even though they were not able to get me the loan I was looking for, they were excellent. Very upfront and honest, and even helped me find a store to better suit my needs. Seemingly cleanly and efficient store. If I ever need any pawning needs I will come here.

Came down for my 2nd visit upgrading my jewelry (stellar upgrade plan, might I add (as long as you still have your receipt you can deduct the full price of your jewelry from bigger purchases)), and was once again greeted by friendly, knowledgeable, and cooperative staff (reminisced from my first visit). Fair negotiations are also a staple here, which includes a sizeable and decent variety of jewelry and other goods as well. Cant recommend them enough, I bid you to see for yourself. Thanks once again for the customer service and expect to see further visits to come!

Went looking for a TV, was greeted immediately, shown the best TV they had. They answered questions about the others. I bought the TV they showed me, still with plastic on. Great service from Tim Johnny and Hope. They were also very polite and accommodating with the other customers that were in the store with me at the same time. There was a gentleman that was about to be late on his loan and they had called him and he was extremely grateful for that. I will definitely be coming back if I ever find myself in the market for something that can be found at a pawn shop again.

My partner and I went in to buy some rings for our upcoming wedding. Everyone was polite, kind, and the selection was really decent. It felt like a nice place to work and a good place to be with real, kind people. I would go back if I thought I needed some speakers or amps.

This is the FIRST and ONLY good experience Ive had with pawn shops in Denver. From pawning to buying; i was always treated with respect, and given the best of every deal. Pawn shops can be intimidating, and I havent always had the best luck with treatment from employees at other shops even when I was the one buying items! After finding Big Daddys, I havent gone back to any other pawn shop with my business, I HIGHLY suggest you do the same!!

Big Daddys is great. I got a loan on some drum equipment and these guys really helped me out when I needed it. The staff is super friendly, upbeat, and are always fun to chat with. Pretty good deals on some great stuff, good selection, and have good deals on their loans. I would pawn again and am planning on buying some stuff on their floor in the future.

Excellent service... this pawnshop is the best I have ever had to use. Manager noticed I was about to be underpaid for a pawn and told the associate to raise the pawn, helping me out tremendously. These guys are out to help others and not rip you off.

Purchased a larger item from these guys from the east coast and had it shipped. It was as described and communication with Tim A. was great. Honest business, and while I doubt I will find a circumstance to do business with them again, Denver is _high_ on my list of US cities to visit, so maybe I will. Had came in with my mother. We had some jewelry but wasnt sure if any of it was real. The owner Tim had took the liberty to actually show us how to tell if gold was real or fake and also if diamonds were damaged on the inside or not. His staff was showed great hospitality. There were different races and the staff treated everyone the same. The most important thing was that he had given the best offer over everyone else and had even went out of his way. I recommend this place to anyone looking for fast and easy cash. You will be shocked what you make.

I cannot say enough good things about Tim and his people at Big Daddys. They offer RIDICULOUSLY fair prices and when I went way past my loan I was still able to get my item back at a REALLY fair price. They are communicative and friendly, and I have never felt ashamed to have to pawn anything there, or judged in any way. I highly recommend them for all your selling or purchasing needs; they have a TON of really cool stuff to buy, too. :)

Theres a reason this pawn shop is so highly rated, its because their the best in Denver. I needed cash to pay for rent and was able to get what i needed, even though he wouldnt have made a profit if i didnt come back. The owner just took my word that i would come back for it.

This place so amazing. Ive walked into about 30 different pawn shops in the Denver area and was completely disgusted with what they look like inside, very dirty made me wanna leave asap. But when I walked into big daddys it was so clean and welcoming. I was in a bind and they helped me out. I will definitely go back to them. They are all so friendly and actually WANT to talk to you as for other pawn shops act like you are a nuisance for walking in there. Thanks Big Daddys youre awesome!!!

Big Daddys Jewelry and Pawn shop is the first pawn shop Ive ever been to, and frankly its the last one. I had such a great experience the first time I went and their customer service has always exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly and efficient and they are incredibly nice to my son when I bring him in which is a big A plus in my mommy book. The first time I went to Big Daddys, the manager was kind enough to not only walk me out to my car, but also carry a big bin I had brought in. I walked out with way more cash than I was expecting to receive and a good feeling in my chest knowing that I had made the right decision to sell my jewelry with Big Daddys Jewelry and Pawn. Their customer service is superb and the staff is highly professional. These guys are awesome! I went in to sell an engagement ring, and I had such a great experience with Tim and the team. Tim took at least 15 minutes to walk me through the rings value, compared it to other merchandise being sold in the store, how he determined the offer, what he would sell it for, etc. He was very patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Unfortunately the ring was not valued at what I was expecting due to a horrible appraisal from another jeweler. However because of this, Tim took the extra time to educate me on ways to avoid being ripped off in the future. If I am ever in the market for jewelry, forget those jewelry stores. I will go back here where I can trust what I am buying, and for less than retail!

Amazing pawn experience! All the employees are very helpful, upbeat, and knowledgeable, the store is very well kept, and theyre very upfront about prices/terms. Tim is a great owner, which adds to us wanting to go back. When we need extra cash in Denver or are looking for great deals on electronics my husband and I will always choose Big Daddys.

Amazing service. I went in looking for speakers for a venue and had a lot of options to choose from. The staff was extremely helpful and i found the perfect set of speakers for what i needed and got them for a great price. We had a little problem on the initial test but they took there time and figured it out before selling me the items. Ended up just a bad av cable, the speakers work perfectly. Will definitely go back.

Very fair and and honest, great people, If you are in need of quick cash and you do not want to sell your items you will get a fair deal on your loan and they will be kept safe and shrink wrapped until you retrieve them. The environment is clean and friendly I highly recommend them. Most certainly not you average pawn shop. Now if you are looking to buy some items you will find high quality goods there jewelry rivals that of many jewelry shops. They have great electronics and some great musical instruments all at real savings and in excellent condition. Do your self a favor and stop by there before you go spend retail

Excellent Customer Service! I spoke with the owner, Tim about some stuff to sell. He and his employees are very friendly and actually greet you when you come in the door even when it got busy. The prices for purchases are very good as well. Gave me a good deal on my items I was selling and even conversed with me while I was waiting during their testing of my stuff. Totally worth the trip downtown to go to them. Their selections are a little sparse as it is a small shop, but I would go to this pawn shop first before anywhere else.

Big Daddys Pawn shop has the best deals. I searched jewelry stores and pawn shops for my wedding ring for 2 days. I went to Big Daddys and they had a better selection and gave me a great deal on the ring I traded in. We went back and got my husband ring as well. They even remembered who we were. Been going to Big Daddys for years. They give the best loans. Today I came in and was looking for $300 on a loan. That is exactly what Tim offered me before I even said a amount. I was going around looking for a new sound system since my sub woofer was malfunctioning on my old one. I looked through pawn shop after pawn shop, but didnt find what I was looking for until I came to Bid Daddys Pawn. The sound system wasnt perfect, but they were aware of all its faults and informed me perfectly. When I took it home, it worked and didnt work exactly as they said it would. And despite its faults, it was still a better sound system for an excellent price. These guys know their stuff, and Id recommend them to anyone who needs used goods.

Seriously Sasheen was wonderful. No other pawn/jewelry store in town gave us customer service even approaching the level we received at Big Daddys. Once the gentleman was told what we were looking for he did everything to make it possible. They broke out stones and settings until my fiancee found the wedding engagement ring she has fallen in love with. 11 out of ten Big Daddys cant be beat in service qaulity and price.

I was going over to another shop to sell my I Pad 4 when a guy stopped me and asked if I was looking for a loan on my I Pad. I said I was looking to sell it and he explained that he was with Big Daddys and that they loved Apple products. I went in and he looked it over and asked what I wanted for it. I named my price and he said that seemed fair. After they checked it over, including making sure it connected to the Internet, they had me filled out a little paperwork (nothing major) and paid me my money. I sold items to other pawn shops and found that they checked what the item sells on Amazon or Ebay. Because of that it seems that most places will pay as little as they can get away with. Big Daddys didnt do that. Big Daddys will not rip you off. If your price is fair, you will probably get it. If its too high, they will explain why they cant meet your price. If I ever need to sell anything again, I will be going back to Big Daddys.
