Unfortunately I can only rate 5 starts I would give them 10/10 great service, profesional, reliable, Lana Jern our loan officer was key to getting us approved as well as all the members in her office team loved the communication you didnt need to explain your self over and over to get things done when you talked to a different person it felt good to have that personalized service available to us every time we called with a question for our new home loan everybody is on top of thing whether it is getting a document processed or keeping you up to date on the progress and dead lines. Oh my I dont even know how to put into word how AMAZING Barb is to work with! 100 out of 100 times I would recommend her to satisfy all of your home purchasing needs. I called this company to give them my business. I talked to the owner, Jason. I told him that I wanted to give him my business. He told me to text him, and that hed follow up with me to get the process started. He never responded. I am taking my business elsewhere. Good bye, Jason! Just bought my first house in Colorado (and the U.S. for that matter), and bought it remotely from Atlanta. Without Jason and team Im not sure I would have succeeded! A challenging journey when validating a relatively new person in the country, and juggling it from afar. What a HUGE difference Jason and his team made. Not only finding a great finance option, but also helping with insurance (even for my car). Nothing was too much trouble even as we navigated any number of complicated fine details. After this experience I would never ever go back to trying to handle this directly through a bank or by myself. 6 stars if thats possible.

I reached out to Uptown precisely because of the high ratings here in Google and now I understand why there are so many great reviews. I first reached out to Jason Henkel two months ago and yesterday I closed on a purchase thanks to him. After my credit union failed to come through, Jason made it happen. Its not my first home purchase so I have prior experiences to compare and I can say that Jason and Uptown are unmatched. If you look for someone who is personable, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to calls, texts, and emails, make sure to ask for Jason Henkel. In my case he partnered up with Vanessa Moreno Mares who helped the insurance process and she turned out to be just as pleasant to work with. I cant say enough about the great overall experience. What can I say. The reviews are totally accurate! Stev succeeded where other mortgage officers failed. He closed on a FHA loan for us under 29 days. Stev is a wizard! Whenever a problem popped up, Stev made some phone calls and made those problems disappear. He is the best. God bless that man!

Jason has been outstanding through this whole process. Being a first time home buyer, I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into. Having worked with two other lenders prior, I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a great lender and Jason definitely surpasses that criteria. Jason was extremely patient and helpful. Blindsided by a last minute, ridiculous fee with the mortgage company we were using at the time, we took the advice of a friend, and called Jason Henkel. Within a half an hour Jason was not only able to get us the rate & terms we *thought* we were getting with the other, his rate & terms were BETTER! Additionally, in ONE day, he was able to accomplish more than the other had in over 30 days. He was in touch with our Transaction Broker that evening, secured and scheduled with a home inspection company - our inspection was the day after! I could go on and on... Buying a house, no matter how many times youve been through the process is stressful. This is our third rodeo! I can honestly say Jason and his team made this process much less stressful - seamless even. ***Oh, most importantly in our situation, time frame - application to closing in less than 14 days.*** Once we were in Jasons hands, it was smooth sailing even given the time crunch. This is the second time I have purchased a house and I refinanced my first one once. So I have worked with lenders a few times and I can honestly say that Jason was above and beyond what I had experienced before. We had some unique situations with using the VA Home Loan that required Jason to do a lot of homework on his end to help, but he gladly did so. He was always available and willing to help, and earned our trust and respect early on. I would highly recommend using Jason and although we dont plan on moving anytime soon, if we do need to do this process again, I will definitely go through Jason.

Uptown Mortgage was fantastic to work with! Barb Van Horn and everyone else worked so hard to get us the best rate and to make sure everything went smoothly. Their customer service is impeccable and it was a please working with them. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a lender.

All I can say about Uptown Mortgage is fantastic! To start I wanted to state that I have refinanced twice over the past 5 years. The first company I used was very unorganized, not considerate of our time and made my wife angry enough to the point where she removed herself from the process totally except where her signature was needed. We were constantly contacting them on the status after weeks of not hearing from them. The process took over 4 months and I was getting requests for the same info and documentation that I had already provided to them previously all the way up until the day of closing. There were dozens of faxes back and forth also. Not how I expected to be doing business in this day and age. Needless to say we did not use them this time. I did some research and found some very positive reviews on Uptown Mortgage so we decided to give them a try and we were not disappointed. Lana and her crew were on top of everything right from the start. We provided all of the info needed once. Our refi moved through each process quickly and easily. They were reaching out to us at least once a day letting us know where we were at and where we were going. Everything was arranged to be signed thru e-signature and they even sent a very nice lady out to our house to close the loan. We literally did not have to leave our house to do anything. The entire process took just over 3 weeks from start to finish. My wife now has faith that there are companies like Uptown Mortgage out there that know what they are doing. I cannot say enough good about Uptown and would recommend them to all of my family and friends as well as anyone else looking for a mortgage or refi. A huge thanks to Lana and her crew at Uptown Mortage!

Jason was extremely helpful throughout the lending process. He was very efficient, knowledgable and easy to work with. He was very patient in explaining things in a way we could understand so that we could make informed decisions. He also went out of his way to make sure we locked in a low interest rate and were comfortable with everything we signed. Jason has been so great to work with, and he makes it known hes available to help even after we close on our house. I would highly recommend him!

Great experience, I just completed a tough closing and Jason was right there through the whole thing. Got me qualified into a program when I was having a tough time even qualifying, to getting me locked into a good rate when rates were going up, to finishing out closing with a difficult builder, he got the job done. Would use again for a refi and would recommend.

Jason Henkel from Uptown Mortgage , was the third lender I approached regarding getting a loan for my new home. The previous two I briefly had to deal with, could not give me an estimate of how much my share of the closing cost would be, and were difficult to get a hold of. Jason and his team, made the whole process super easy, and were always available to answer questions, even on the weekends.

I have worked with Lana and her team at Uptown Mortgage several times over the last 10 or more years. I have used them for new home purchase loans, as well as re-finance loans. My financial situation was never the same for any of the transactions, and sometimes it was tricky. Even through the tricky situations, Lana was able to come up with a solution. Her team has always been professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Uptown Mortgage!

Uptown Mortgage invests much time and effort on the front end making sue that all documents are in completely prior to submitting to the lender. The lender had absolutely nothing to add or ask for. Jason Kauffman is amazing! He responded to my desperate, frustrated email within minutes. After losing three weeks working with the wrong broker Jason got my program set, pre-approved and rate locked in an hour! I cannot recommend Lana and her team enough!! We were first time homebuyers, and wildly stressed about it - Lana made everything so, so easy. We found her through yelp and set up a meeting just to find out what we could qualify for - she made a table for us with several different financing options depending on how much we wanted to put down and made it very easy to understand our options. Once we made an offer on our house, I had tons of detailed questions about different loan options and would call Lana in a panic and she would walk me calmly through the math so that I could make the best decision. She got us a great rate, awesome credits Id never heard of before, and we closed on our house ten days early because the financing went so smoothly. I honestly will *never* work with anyone else for my homebuying needs - Lana is a super star. She can dive into the details with you OR give you the high level bullet points you need to make an informed decision. Give her a call!!

Until our most recent home purchase, I havent really had a positive experience working with mortgage brokers. Working with Uptown mortgage, specifically Jason K and V, was a refreshing change. Above all, they were extremely responsive, timely, and easy to reach. The Uptown team was always working well ahead of any deadlines which helped make the whole thing much less stressful. It all just went so smoothly; from pre-approval all the way through closing. My only regret is not using Uptown Mortgage for prior home purchases and refinances. Call Uptown, the reviews I read are accurate, they are awesome.

I shopped around for mortgages before purchasing my home and found that not only did Uptown Mortgage have the lower rates, Lana Jern was completely Transparent with me through the entire process. She redlined commented on each of my estimates letting me know what each of the numbers meant and pointed out where Uptown Mortgage was higher or lower. Lana also got the job done quick, painless, and was available at all times to answer any questions I may have had. It was a pleasure to finally get some face time with Lana when she came to my closing and assured me that she would be available if I ever have questions or concerns in the future. My boyfriend went through the loan process concurrently with me and we had totally different experiences. Uptown Mortgage made sure that the process went smoothly and that I was stress free. We have been working with Lana Jern and Uptown Mortgage for over 13 years. They have brokered and managed all of our loans during this time which includes multiple home purchases, plus an investment property, and multiple refinances due to market fluctuation. We have had other brokers and loan officers recommended to us over the years, but not one has been able to match the extensive loan options Lana and her team have been able to. Lana has demonstrated repeatedly that she really knows her stuff and is always a pleasure to work with. Most recently, we completed a refi on our investment property with Uptown Mortgage, and we were reminded how easy Lanas makes the process, especially with the Floify software she uses. Home purchases and refis can sometimes be stressful, and knowing that we have an advocate on her side when it comes to the loan part brings us incredible peace of mind.

Jason Kauffman worked with me for the better part of 2 yrs while I was searching for the perfect house in Denver - every time I was interested in a property, all I had to do was email him the address and he was able to send over an estimate of the possible loan. Ultimately, the house I bought was a quick 72 hr-turn-around from the time the house was listed until my offer was accepted. There was never a delay or worry about getting the needed documentation to my realtor in a timely manner. I am a first time home-buyer and went with Jason via Yelp reviews. I was NOT disappointed.

The entire experience, from general curiosity of what price point I should be looking in to the nitty gritty paystub dance at the very end--these guys just rocked it. My wife and I worked with Uptown Mortgage to buy our first home and we cannot recommend Uptown Mortgage enough. Everyone there is extremely helpful. Jason Henkel was our broker and he did an exceptional job. Hes very nice, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We never felt pressured. Since this was our first buying experience, I had a lot of questions and he explained everything clearly and patiently throughout the entire process. Not only was he able to get us what I believe to be the the best possible loan and rate, but at my request he gave us good recommendations for real estate agents. I only called one and it worked out to be a great recommendation who was just as hardworking and easy to work with as Jason and everybody at Uptown Mortgage. If we need another mortgage in the future, we will be returning to Uptown.

Jason did an amazing job for our home loan. We are first time home buyers and did not know what to expect when buying a home, even though we did tons of research. Jason in the first meeting made us feel so comfortable and made the process very easy! Anytime we had questions, even if it was late at night were always answered! Lana and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. Lana is so professional and knowledgeable, I could tell right out of the gate that she has been in this business a long time, and knows her stuff well!!! And she really delivered for me and helped me out! I had a slightly more challenging situation than the average loan, because I was working on closing two loans at the same time, and Lana and her team treated me really well. They were responsive, helpful, respectful, and delivered on their promises to me, despite my complex situation. Lana and her team helped me get these deals done, when other local lenders could not help me. I am very impressed, and I will be sending anyone I know who needs a loan over their way! I am truly disgusted with the service and so called bankers this company claims to be. Not a good fit for me and a disgrace to the city of Denver. Can somebody file a complaint to get this company shut down for taking applications, not following through, and then their employees fraudulently using social security numbers to go to the hospital. I am suing for this.

If I could give Zero Stars I would. They have had my refinance for over three months and still have not closed. They do not return emails and calls. They do not follow through. Dont use these folks. I am using Quicken which is a national company with superior customer service. They found me a rate better that Uptown with really competitive closing costs as well.

Lana, Ami, and Dustin did a great job taking care of our mortgage loan. They made everything so easy and clear as to what documents they needed. They even helped us conference call the bank to explain to the banker what they needed. They go above and beyond! They are detail oriented, efficient, and communicate well.
