I've been with this branch since I was 14. I'm now in my mid-40's. Recently opened accounts here for my children. Have had accounts, credit cards, insurance, business and personal accounts and a variety of financial services. They are always courteous and helpful. They never try to upsell me to something I don't want. Best place. My most recent visit was extra great with a very knowledgeable and helpful woman who was a branch manager. I'm writing this where I don't have access to her card but it was last week and I hope the branch manager reads this. He came in and chatted with me while cards were being made as was very friendly and personable as well. Lovely interaction.

I needed some help with getting a document notarized. The associate Lamar was able to help me get information relating to it, as well as help me print out the forms since I was without a printer. Additionally, the staff was able to get me a cashier's check instead of a money order, which I wouldn't have even known was an option without their help. Once I had my form ready to be notarized, the staff was able to get everything taken care of in a matter of minutes. I am very pleased with their help and highly recommend their expertise and quick service! Thank you so much!

Dont listen to all these 5 star nothing bad happens to their life reviews this company is ok as long as you dont go to a hospital and miss a payment. Or fall behind one month the issue repo after one month late even though I have had a loan their 6 years. If you miss one payment on a loan they will never approve you for a skip payment. They offered no help during covid and sent a repo after one month late when i paid all through covid two whole years, During this time when many were not working I kept working and paid and this is the treatment. Horrible the worst bank ever and i have dealt with many. Its not worth the loan if you forsee any life happenings coming up they will ruin your credit and throw you away.

Best location in the springs! I was here to renew my CD that Catherine had helped me get 7 months ago and she even remembered me! This time Rodney helped me with my CD and even helped me get a money market account, he is an absolute joy to work with! He was personable and funny but made sure all my needs were being met. He even helped look at rates somewhere else to help with my determination. He passed me off to Riley on the teller line so I could fund the new account and she was just as amazing. They have a great crew working here and I wouldnt want to go to any other location now.

A teller told me about an account with a better interest return and immediately set me up for an appointment. I waited only a few minutes to meet with a representative who explained very well was involved in transferring my money to the new account and handled a few complications to the process very efficiently and in a timely way.

Ive been coming in for awhile and each time I come in I look forward to working with Catherine. Shes always professional, and knowledgeable. I feel confident that she will be able to help me with whatever I need. I came in with my cracked phone and she reminded me that my checking account covers the repair. Attempted to open online but unsuccessful. By pure chance, we were traveling NEAR a SSFCU and stopped in to check status but nothing was done. Springs crew was quick and helpful. Process was somewhat slow but overall it was satisfactory.

You think AAA top soil is good? Try the AAA team at SSFCU Kelly Johnson. Goodness gracious I couldn t be happier at how helpful Amber, Amber and Angelica were with my endless questions and countless money deposits. Went initially because it was a union, left happy with both service and employees. Enviornment is increidbly welcoming and worthwhile, definetly glad to have stopped in. The people at the counter were incredibly fun and professional, as well as Riley DArcy who was the person helping me set up an account. She answered all of my questions (no matter how basic) in an exceptionally informative and kind manner- super thankful she was there!! Without her advice and guidance I wouldnt be as sure of my decision with this bank and its services as I am now. Wonderful atmosphere, incredibly accepting, and overall amazing experience! 10/10!

This is such a wonderful branch, Catharine McMillan helped me with several account related tasks. She was so patient with me and my family. She also went above and beyond to inform me about different things that were offered through my account! Amber A. has been wonderful to work with. Her customer service and desire to make sure we understood everything and had all of our questions answered really stands out in the credit union world. Our family has just gotten a loan with SSFCU and I appreciate Amber helping us every step of the way. She always took our calls, quickly responded to our emails, and took as much time as needed to help us understand everything and to feel comfortable with everything. We also met multiple other staff members at the Kelly Johnson location and everyone was extremely friendly and kind. Im a big credit union supporter and I absolutely love the service that we received from Security Service Federal Credit Union. Service is in their name and they definitely delivered!! Came to open my checking account again after going to school for 2 years. Only closed it because I stopped working. Worked with Rodney & it was so easy to open it back up. I went in just to open a simple savings account. I was helped by Ms. Angelica and Ms. Riley. Now it is not often that you hear the words BANKING INSTITUTION and FUN in the same sentence, but I kid you not, I had fun opening a savings account. The two gals were easy going but professional, honest, they worked quickly and as a team to not waste my time, and they smiled but didnt come across as fake. Ms. Angelica even used Google to look up a term we were discussing that she didnt know. Instead of pretending she knew, she took initiative to educate herself on the spot! I had several self-inflicted banking needs that I was having trouble clearing up online, so I decided to go into the branch on Academy and Kelly Johnson. I just have 2 comments. While the employees at the SSFCU I opened my money market at were very nice, I dont understand why it took almost 2 hours to open my new account. Also, Im not happy with the fact that there are soooo any fees at SSFCU including having to buy my own checks and the fact that most of my deposited money is on a hold for 30 days. (VERY EXCESSIVE !)

I am a new business owner and have been with a different credit union for roughly 10 years. I have been dissatisfied with my previous credit unions online app customer service as well as the locations are no longer available in Colorado Springs. When I set up this business I spoke to several different financial institutions the reason that I selected this credit union in this branch was because of the branch manager Mrs. Mondragon. From there every time I ve gone in the experience is extraordinary they make me feel like I am important they make me feel like my needs are important to them to fulfill they offer help they ask questions about my business insurance any business loans that I would like to be reevaluated etc. etc. I have never in my life been a raving fan of a bank or a credit union until now they now have all of my personal accounts and I refer them to anyone I can. Friends and employees alike!

I had great, fast service when I had to cancel and reopen accounts after I had checks stolen and then needed additional paperwork for a pending mortgage. The assistant branch manager Amber Wegher went above and beyond excellent customer service! She deserves a promotion and raise!!!

I wanted to see if I could get a better car insurance rate and knew SSFCU offered these services. Savannah, the branch manager, worked with my schedule to get me an appointment on a Friday. David, the insurance agent was friendly, knowledgeable and saved me $400/year without compromising on coverage. I was glad to save money, but more importantly it was a huge time saver. I highly recommend them if you want to compare insurance rates.

Huge shout out to Brian - Customer Service Rodney Carbajal - Member Relationship Officer Savannah Mondragon - Branch Manager From the first phone call, I knew this was where I wanted to open an account. But after I was there I knew I made the best banking decision ever. I originally called to find out about depositing into my shared branch of another credit union. Brian was so cheerful and helpful over the phone, it prompt me to ask about opening an account there. Rodney was beyond nice, informed, patient with all my questions, lending and ear when I shared some life situations. He made me feel like family. He is such a beautiful human being. While I was waiting for my debit card, Savannah walked in and introduced herself. She was so sweet and friendly. I was so glad I joined the Security Service FCC family. Their services and premium checking is so well worth small $6 month charge. The security features and identity protection exceeds lifelock s features. I highly recommend Security Service Federal Credit Union, Briargate Branch!

My wife and I went to this branch to open a business checking and a joint personal checking account, both accounts with debit cards. They were able to produce the debit cards right there on the spot. My rating is only for this branch and not for the bank as a whole. I had an issue with their mobile app and went through multiple phone calls with their call center representatives that just frustrated me more then anything and saw no resolve from any of them. I then went into the branch and spoke with the branch manager S. Mondragon. She not only provided a solution to my issue, but she made multiple steps to make sure that I was protected and made to feel like a priority. Even days after she followed up with me and verified that everything had been corrected and that the new solution that she gave was still going to work for me. The quality of service that was shown and level of care a person can show to work through a customers problem is something this whole company needs desperately and I will no longer waste my time by calling their call centers and just go meet their employees face to face, because the level of service is such polar opposites.

Went to set up a youth checking account and process was smooth and took roughly 20 minutes, was helped by Nichole and she was awesome!! She helped us setting up everything and setting up the mobile app as well, will be back to set up an account for my 8 year old once she is 13!

My experience was fantastic opening an account with Ninfa. I have never written a review for a bank. However Ninfa was extremely knowledgeable and tought me so much about all the insensitives SSFCU has to offer. I think I found a bank for life!!

I started the process to open a business account with Rebeka and although there was a glitch in the system preventing it from being accomplished immediately, she stayed on it until it was resolved. Once everything was approved I went into the Kelle Johnson branch and met with Lucas, again the service was vary professional and I have my business account.
