US Pawn

I went to this pawn shop today think as a smaller shop they would be more fair with the prices for pawning. when I went in they barely looked at it and offered me $20, when on the shelf was the same item for $120. I declined and thought I’d go to ezpawn and see what they would say because maybe I miss judged the value, they paid me $60 on the spot. I do not recommend this place at all! I feel like they are not honest or fair with pricing and I won’t be going back.

This establishment closes at 7 PM according to Google. At 6:30 they told me that they would not make a loan for me because they stop doing loans at 6:30 if they close at 7 PM why do they stop doing loans at 6:30 when that is one of their essential functions, And people rarely go there between 630 and seven just a shop at a pawnshop. I feel like this is a lazy business model, and I ll be deleting all my friends and family know not to go to the EZ Pawn chain. My interaction with Steve was less unprofessional, not quite rude, but he was definitely indifferent and nonchalant. This is not the type of experience that this chain wants to create for its customers and I ll be sure to let all my friends know also.

After telling him how much I expected he tried to low ball me for three guns saying they are super cheap online (which is a lie, just one would cost no less than $500.00) and tried to give me $150.00.

I am an avid frequenter, of pawn shops in the Denver metro area. If I have not been to every pawn shop, in the Denver metro area, I have been very close US Pawn provided excellent service and outstanding pricing. I was greeted by Andy and Pete, on a busy Saturday afternoon. both of which were friendly and willing to help. Personally, I go to pawnshops to find deals on certain items, such as tools, Guitars, electronics, guns, etc. what I like most about shopping at pawnshops is the ability to negotiate on products and find great deals. I find this experience, fun and rewarding. At US PAWN both Andy and Pete not only were willing to negotiate on their extremely fair prices, they also have the ability and sense to allow me to shop and look around uninterrupted. This might not sound like much, but that awareness is hard to find in any shopping environment let alone pawnshops. Andy and Pete do a great job and are always willing to help. I highly recommend US PAWN on the corner of Chambers and Alameda in Aurora. They have a great selection, multitude of different products, extremely fair prices While providing a comfortable and fun atmosphere to shop in. Tried to pawn my nintendo switch, and the guy turned me away, he gave no reason he just looked at me and was like nope. Not trying to be that guy, but I am a black guy, and i seen another review of someone complaining about discrimination so maybe it is true. I got my fiances wedding/ engagement band there about 13 months ago and just went back and got my own wedding ring there today. My dollar for quality goes so much farther there than an jewelry shop and was able to save thousands. The manager was great and coordinated the ring resizing in just a couple days and for almost nothing.

Dont shop here they will lie to you. They told me they would sell me something for a certain price but couldnt hold it for me as they did first come first serve. I stopped what I was doing and drove 10 miles to their shop just to be told that they already sold it and it had been paid for. Thing is it hadnt been paid for as I sat and watched someone come in and pay for it and leave with it. They probably were willing to pay a higher price. Never trust a lier. Dont shop here as they practice shady dealing.

If you cant decide if you want to sell or pawn a item here or jumping jack cash go to jumping jack . This US Pawn offered me 40 dollars for A soundbar that you cant find anywhere cheaper then 200 bucks . I went to jumping jack and got 80. I bring up jumping jack cash because US pawn and Jumping jack are the only Pawnshops in the Aurora/Centennial area with 4.3 Star ratings.

Friendly staff. Great deals. This is one of the best pawn shops to get a loan, sell an item or to buy. I will definitely be back again. And as far as reviews go about the guy with the accent, dont believe them. Alex is super nice and straight forward. Now days, there are too many snowflakes, and think that they can get a $500 loan for a Nintendo sytem. So they get butt hurt when they are turned away. Probably voted for Biden as well! Cause they cant handle the truth. I give this store and the staff a 10 out of 5 stars.

Looked at a Firearm and once the short indian/middle eastern attendant realized I wasnt going to purchase it he became very rude. When I was leaving I waved at both the manager and the person that helped me and said Thanks, both of them ignored me. I have given this shop a ton of business over the last 4-5 years and the manager even knows me but he still completely ignored me. My Father purchased two guns here and I have purchased 3 guns and several other items. We wont be coming back. The short indian/middle eastern employee is also VERY Unprofessional, he had his family in the store during one of my visits and his son was riding a dirt bike around the parking lot that was an item for sale in the shop. Dont give these people your business.

Took my laptop for a loan until payday and was irritated when they told me they couldnt fund the serial # therefore not able to offer the loan. It was a Saturday and were about to close until Monday, but allowed me to try n locate the serial #. I googled where to find it and duh... Its within the operating system not physically on the outside of the computer. I turned on my computer n there it was. They were able to put together the paoerwork and $ for me within the 6 min left before closing. Saved the day!

Unfortunately I was in desperate need of money for bills, but I was horribly ripped off for a 25 cal Air rifle with the case and pellets and scope and a prop stand, a rainbow sharp sword with two throwing knives (all rainbow and actually sharp) with sheath and a nice heavy cosplay sword. I will never again take anything to this store. As much as I would rather avoid ebay, I would deal with the internet any day rather than pawn anything at this store.

I went in to the shop to purchase A laptop and was in the market for a couple other items. I waited kindly in line while no one addressed mean sale be right with you. While I am very understanding and can be very patient I waited in line for my turn. I was in a great mood until I was greeted with somebody who is extremely rude to me and told me what was wrong with me for not listening after I explained to him several times that I want to spend under $300 because I have other bills to pay and there would be tax. Long story short.. awful customer service.. not very cool to treat ANYONE rudely.

Ive been a customer for many years. Ive never defaulted on any of my loans. Lately I have been offered very low for my items. I understand they have to make money but offering a fair amount is a fair deal. Not sure if the new staff have been properly trained. At least they shouldnt treat a returning customer like a new customer. Specially if the customer has always paid or paid off their loan. With the proper training from management to the staff, this pawnshop will have limited complaints.

NOT MILITARY-FRIENDLY. I stopped in today to look at possibly picking up a firearm for home defense. The very polite man at the counter asked for my ID, in order to show me the weapons I was interested in. I am a Military Dependent (Spouse is a U.S. Air Force Officer stationed at USSF Buckley Garrison), with both a Military Dependent and Retiree (served 23 years myself) ID Cards, a valid Florida Drivers License (our home of record), and a Florida Concealed Carry Permit (reciprocity in Colorado) - all of which I presented to him. He then stated that, without a Colorado ID, he could not show me the firearms. He then went to the back of the store to check with the manager, who told him that he could not show me the firearms without a Colorado ID. I, again, explained that we are a Military family and are not required, by both Federal and State law, to change our licenses and registrations when we arrive at a new duty assignment. The gentleman apologized and stated that store policy prohibited him from showing me the weapons. He seemed genuinely apologetic, but could not violate their policy. I told him that I would take my business elsewhere and thanked him for his assistance. To have a business less than 2 miles from a U.S. Military base and refuse to sell to Military personnel or their families is a very poor business practice and is a slap in the face of those of us who have and are still serving.

I cant even count the amount of times that Nick has been willing to work with my fiance and I when we were in a tough spot. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS THEY SOLD MY BROTHER A GUN THAT DID NOT EVEN WORK AND REFUSED TO DO A RETURN!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND THE MANAGER WAS THE WORST WITH HIS LAZY EYE!! RISK IS ON YOU DO NOT BE TRICKED LIKE WE WERE!!!

I was really in a bind and needed as much as possible on my loan. By the time Nick and I were doing paperwork he literally increased his offer about $20. Awesome. Nick is the man. Need extra cash i highly recommend Nick and US Pawn. Thanks Nick!!!!

I researched my items pricing and asked for 60% less than used resale. They offered me half my asking price. Both items just like new in boxes. If your looking for a respectable establishment with fair pricing - look elsewhere.

Post reply edit: the laptops are stored behind the counter and only shown upon request. Viewings are monitored by employees. It is not possible for a customer to have switched the tags. They had advertised a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 tablet PC online on Facebook for $399 and I went in to check it out. When I went in and asked to check the version number, the employee was hesitant, but did allow me to check it. We had to do the lengthy setup process just to check the version number and all the while he was trying to convince me it was a 6, it was a great item, he would prefer that one (which was somewhat beat up and stained) over the others (which looked cleaner). It turns out it was actually a surface 4. He then claimed someone accidentally switched the tags and tried to get me to buy another surface pro, priced at $279. When we checked it out, he said that the price was actually $399, but he would give me $10 off for my trouble and he would throw in a great bag for it, which was heavily stained. I refused. I guess there is a reason why pawn shops have a shady rep - would not go in again.

Understaffed. Cluttered with junk. Bogus pricing on everything. Two people when I was there came to get their property out of pawn and the shop said they couldnt find them or they had been sold by mistake. I cant imagine what the back storage looks like... If the front looks terrible Im sure the back is chaos.

Pawn full of THIEVES!! Would not recommend coming here, prices are cheap. Staff thieves, and manager just as bad!! A ring was stolen from us, we reviewed the cameras, and still! We saw both of the rings and one was missing!! Staff are slimey and disrespectful. Do not bring your gold here.

Had to edit this down because of there long term customer service. Will never again spend that much money in this location. Literally all the 5 star reviews are from them asking customers to 5 star for a better deal. Thats where my last 5 star came from but the deal wasnt worth it.

I stopped in here to check the place out. I ve been looking for a decent sound bar for the right price for weeks. I ended up going with a Samsung they had in there. The price was so good, I didn t ask for a lower price. I hate when pawn shops try to sell at retail prices. These guys definitely don t do that. The guys working were friendly. They even took time to show something to one of my kids. It was just a great experience all around. They also seemed to know and be friendly with most customers that were going in and out. I will check there first for anything I m looking for from now on. It s close to the house and they seem like they enjoy selling their inventory, rather than asking retail and it sitting there for a century. Thanks fellas!

Dont take a tablet thats capable of having a data plan. This place wont take it. Even with the device paid for and no service. The manager just plainly says no.
