EZPAWN

So I went in for the first time to this pawn shop to sell a tool. Two of the three gentlemen I talked to were great. However the third and their boss, probably would do better having his ego checked. I’m originally from Washington and I was here in Denver when the pandemic hit. My ID also happened to expire in 2020 so I had a new one mailed to me. Well apparently is WA state policy to send an ID with no photo on it if it’s sent out of state. Ridiculous policy, but whatever. So I show my ID and have my expired license for photo reference. The young man at the counter says he just needs to check it’s okay with his boss who states “I cannot accept this, pawn law states you have to have a photo ID to pawn and item. And I follow pawn law.” I tell him that seems dumb considering I buy alcohol and have been pulled over and this ID checked and it’s 100% valid, but i don’t know pawn law and take him at his word and leave. In the parking lot I google the State Laws for Pawnbrokers which says a non photo ID is acceptable if it’s issued by a government agency (federal or state). I think oh great I can sell to them since he “follows pawn law”. Well I go back in, this time talking with a different guy but tell him what happened and show him the law. He says ok sweet let men talk to my boss. Well the “boss” peaks his head out and says “look i already said we’re not doing business with you now leave”. Really? I can’t imagine my masculinity being so fragile that being wrong about a state ordinance triggers a complete ego trip.

Avoid this place like the plague. If that’s what management looks like i’d venture to guess the rest of the store is rough.

The reason for the score I am currently inside of easy pond 151398 and there is a line of people I want to say about 78 people airline. The manager is walking around throwing stuff mad because they moved the TV and they got one person at the register with seven people in line and no one has addressed anyone stating hey sorry for the wait will be with you. None of that. We just stand here, I am here to buy something one of the products. This is the worst customer service ever I’ve ever seen and all of my manager name is Michael whom is on Face right now per front store staff 6/25/24

I bought a keyboard also it had batteries in the back when i went to use it the batteries had leaked there was crusty loose debris in the battery part. I swapped batteries for a new set. The keyboard would not turn on. I took it back before the 24 hour cut off got my money. That keyboard is back up for sale. Its not my fault he is selling broken controllers. He is rude to the customers. I do not reccomend this store however if you go in see Andrew he is the best very kind and professional he provides excellent customer service.

I wish this rating would give me the option to give zero starts because I would. Don't pawn or get a loan from this place they are rip off and scammers who offered me $10 loan on a 32" HDTV with HDMI with original remote controller. And my Tv works great Which I'm sure they would try and sell it for over $100 this pawn shop owner is a scammer. Save yourself don't go here put it up for sail yourself and you can get a better offer. If everyone does this pawn shops will go broke and end up closing. I'll sell you my 32" tv for $75 and you will get a better deal than you ever will for this place. Leave me a response here and we can talk.

Usually have no problem out of this place. Today the guy at the counter brought out a PS4 after we said multiple times we wanted to get our Nintendo switch out. We were forced to take the PS4 out of pawn and or reloan it and loose money that we just handed them. So I repay the 220$ to get my switch out along with other items. It took an hour for them to find my item the management had to go in the back and he just kept saying I'm sorry it didn't get tagged in. The guy needs to be drug tested. Taller guy with backwards hat and glasses and tattoos. I made sure management heard me say it. Will not ever return to the Colfax and chamber location ever again. Another man almost had his guitar lost at the exact same time because they are not tagging items when you pawn them.

Purchase a 65 Samsung tv from the Colfax and Chambers location in Denver from Xavier. He was professional, courteous and very helpful. He went over and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with the sale. I don t know if he s a manager but he definitely deserves a raise or monetary compensation . Thanks Xavier.

Great place to do business and the best customer service by far from any ez pawn or local pawn shop. I dealt with Xavier through my whole process who has outstanding customer service and knowledge but wanted to make sure he was taking the every correct step of getting me set up right and his supervisors Mike and Andrew both immediately answered his questions and assured me all was well. You don t get many experiences that go well in pawn shops now a days let alone great with excellent customer service but I did with the 3 employees at ez-pawn on Colfax and chambers next to king Soopers.

They will tell you Oh we can only list this for a low price.... As an excuse to low ball you. This is a lie. They will list your item for 5-10x what they give you. Have seen items here for more than retail brand new price.

Today I received attitude from a black skinny light skin hair with alot of hair in before you speak Im black as well. I have been coming to this location for a year now in this is the 1st time I had to say something because she was taking to long to find a model number off My tablet plus she wanted to give me 45 when I always get 70 between this location in Peoria only 2 I ever missed with she say she knew what she was doing but lied in asked another co worker to help her a big girl African American then the Manger came to fix it the hair with the dreads she offer me 60 that was cool but I took my tablet back because I get a better offer with better people on Peoria now I dont know what happen the Mexican dude that was there 1st now the skinny light skin girl been there before the other girls so why are you asking for help with a customer that means she didnt know what she was doing now the girl with the dreads started after that girl now she the mangers of the store so that she tell you right there she didnt know what she was doing in why I say that is because there was a Mexican man that was the mangers he was real cool now the girl with dreads has his position thats cool I never had a problem with anybody until today if she was the manger she should of spoke up instead of me in the skinny girl going at it for no reason if you dont know how to operate a pawn shop or talk to your customers especially when you got other people doing it for you now I know why they didnt make her manger shout out to the big girl tho she was cool.

Everyone just told me to come in and look for myself but I called this location and I was 100% satisfied with the service. She answered every question she went through the products and she was very very helpful. They do not negotiate, even if its a loan. I assume the gentleman in there owns it. He doesnt say we or us, he says I. I felt like we were begging instead of getting a loan on something of value.

Awesome customer service and very professional. I sold some items for emergency purposes and was totally satisfied. Jorden helped me and she was amazing. Jorden had amazing customer service skills. I have not been in a pawn shop for years and was a little embarrassed but when I was in there, Jorden and the other female staff member (did not get her name) made me feel super comfortable. They were both very professional. I chose this place based on their google reviews and highly recommend this location for buying, selling, and pawning. Great place!

Went in for jbl charge 5 speaker system I bought my speaker for 180. Went in today they try cheat me and say because Black Friday deals I can t give you the amount you want. What can I say about the manager Greg and his highly skilled staff. Every time I need to use the services provided by this location, they come through for me. The entire staff at this location is well trained and provides exceptional customer service. They also have a great selection of quality used goods priced more than fairly. I love the fact that they have a layaway plan that makes shopping decisions much easier to make. I would highly recommend using this location for loans or purchases in the future. I drive past many of their competitors just because of the friendly helpful people who work there. Greg has trained is people very well. Do not take my word for it. I d highly recommend checking them out yourself.

I have had to utilize this locations services and the staff here makes you feel relaxed in an uncomfortable situation. Ronald was great in my last visit and always a smile. Their pricing on items in the store are fair and they they treat their customers much better. I would recommend visiting this location if not only if you need a bridge between paydays or if your looking to get someone or yourself a gift. My apologies, The store representatives name was Brent. I did not have a favorable experience on my last visit, however the representatives are always polite and respectful. I could be a negative nilly but it would be unappreciative and a little malice. But an honest note would be to make sure you check your property before you leave and make sure it is in the same condition as when you initially pawned it. I have lost a charging cord and one of my items was broken when I got it back. Still a good staff but it is a hit or miss situation here.

I really appreciate the manager at the EZ pawn on Colfax and Chambers he went above and behind the call of duty to help me out I have a layaway and I couldnt get in to make my payment. We spoke and he agreed to hold it to for me the jewelry is for holiday gifts. And I dont believe any of the manager of any other easy pond would have done that so for this manager I say thank you.

i had a lawaway for a watch that i payed $740 so i had an emergency to ehere ibe gotta leave the country. went and spoke to the manager about my situation& lawaway , so we closed the layaway i owed and he refused to give my cask bk. he said all he could do was give me store credit or pick items in his store which isnt what i needed. so basically im stuck with items i dint even need ir want.i always sww othee customers getting money for their layawas when they close it but for somw reason not me! greg is the manager and he did me straight up just WRONG! ehat away to run business.. not thar they care but ill nevee go bk!!

This shop is great because of the people who work here! Always friendly & knowledgeable people, & the shop has a wide selection of jewelry & electronics as well as tools & household items. The staff customer service is always awesome quick & efficient & that s why I go here for item loans when I get in a financial bind instead of FastCash, though they are closer to me. The worst service I have ever seen in a pawn shop and they rip you off on their prices for you to sell your items would not recommend this ezpawn to anyone. I like the one on 6th ave a lot better they and very far on pieces for selling your items

This EZ pawn on Colfax and Chambers is a very great store the customer service from Joanna Chris Liz and the rest of the game are exceptional willing to go above and beyond and help with questions and your merchandise. As far as Greg the manager hes one of the rudest most crude people Ive ever come across unfortunately still having belongings in the store wishing to get back I will not go into full detail of his unprofessionalism he truly is the gals and guys that work at the store thank you for all your help I really do appreciate your service

Crystal is an awesome customer service orientated woman who has nothing but greatness to add to this pawn shop. Its never fun to go and pawn things when we need money and its even somewhat embarrassing to me but Crystal not only made me feel comfortable she was also very helpful in letting me knowwhat would be the best things out of all my things that I had to pawn, she also made me feel like I was valuable as a customer. And she was very informative. During this troublesome time that most of us are having during this pandemic, she made me feel like I could come back there again today with more stuff and not feel awkward I really appreciate Crystal. Ive been pawning things on and off for about 20 years. Im no spring chicken and shes one of the coolest people Ive ever encountered this lady deserves 10 not five

This is totally a lie the clerk said only essential shopping at a pawn shop that dont have a online catalog. By the way Any thing at a pawn shop in is not at all essential to survive. You dont need it to servive. So get your facts strait and treat your customers better I will never shop at that shop again. She told me that if Im browsing I just have to leave. How are we to pick out what we want with out knowing its there? Some people really amaze me. Worst staff ever. Also this is the second time I have left the store due to in appropriate customer service.

Bought a ps3 from this location in October I specifically remember bying a 6 month warranty, I called 3 weeks ago they said they would call back I got no call, so I called again and they saying I did not purchase a warranty and the only way i could prove is if i had my receipt. I told him I know I got a warranty and he asked me to hold on while he looks into it after being on hold for 15 minutes he hung up on me. I will never do buisness with this poorly ran location EVER again management does not know how to run a buisiness and it is obvious. It was a waste of money and time now I have a devastated 6 year old, I hope you feel ashamed!

If I could do zero stars I would. Now I understand its the end of the day and on a Saturday. But youre management, youre in the position you are in, because someone thought that you were the right person to not only teach your employees. But for the customers as well. Well your customer service skills just suck. You should honestly be ashamed of yourself for how you treat customers. It shouldnt matter if the customer is dressed high class or ghetto. Were all the same. And if you want to get technical, if it wasnt for your customers, you wouldnt have a job or a paycheck. Its our interest we pay and the profit that makes your paycheck. So next time you want to be rude because its the end of the day. Think about that paycheck or maybe rethink your employment. Get a job that doesnt have customer service involved. Or leave your problems outside the work place. I will never be back, nor will my famy or friends or any of their people.

Worst place to walk into. I have stopped by various times looking for who staff calls the manager Elizabeth. She is never there. I was starting to believe staff was lying about there being a manager until I saw a sign that stated gerente Elizabeth. I work near by and there are days I come in during my break and or after work. SHE IS NEVER THERE. If you are looking for a supervisor, manager, gm seems like one doesnt work here. I tried getting help from two other heavy set young ladies and was told manager would be back later. They proceeded to call each other names across the store. This is unacceptable. THIS STORE NEEDS MANAGEMENT

DO NOT go to ANY EZ Pawn. They will lowball, and half the time the employees dont really know the value of the item you could be trying to sell them, they base their prices on how low they can find the item online.

Well Im new to Denver I dont have any family I was raised in an orphanage. And I dont know where I can get money if you get it from a pawn shop. They loan me good money what they can. Its more than what anybody else will give you. I also I buy a lot of stuff from EZPawn on Colfax theyre nice or friendly customer services outstanding. The manager she is such a nice lady who knows me by name Ive been in there so much its a good place I recommend it you get a good deal you asked for a little better price on something you usually can get it. Every time I ve gone in there someone has been willing to help me and work with me on products. Today I was standing at the jewelry case wanting to look at the wedding bands and Roberto Seen me at the jewelry counter came over right away to help me to let me try on some of the rings. The manager which I believe her name is Elizabeth is so friendly every time I m there she says hello, I feel bad that I don t quite remember her name but they always treat me awesome and say ask how I m doing. By the way the store looks great with the remodel!! It made my friend and I want to walk through the store and see what you had for sale.

They are not difficult people. Ive pawned here for 5 months without a problem but in the beginning they didnt loan me as much. Once they realized that Im the type to come back & get my belongings they treated me even better. If you dont do business here understand a business relationship has to be built to get the treatment we all desire but every business and person operate like this. Thanks EZ Pawn!

Was in here in September and saw something that was priced a little higher than I wanted to spend, but in February the price was going to drop to $80. I decided I d gamble and wait... come March I go in and they have it priced at $160 and won t go lower than $120. I know it s the same item because the dates on the tag were all the same but the prices were changed. This place is a joke and should be boycotted for how they screw people over. Lost my business even though the item is still actually better priced than other places. I ll gladly spend more money somewhere else just based on principle!

First, a few months ago I took my wii in for a loan, the manager was the one to do what was supposed to be a loan, but what actually entered into the system as a sale. Luckily I was able to have it rectified. Just today I was taking the same wii n games in for a loan. My rechargable batteries were dead, so I left them at home. Any other time Ive gotten a loan on my wii, there were batteries available to test incoming products. Again the same Manager tells me I need to go buy batteries to make sure the remote control works. I ask Am I supposed to be spending my own money? She replies yeah This is after learning that they needed batteries anyway. I took it elsewhere, and got more money for the loan, with less products. They will rip you off if you let them. If I could give them no stars, I would. I will never pawn, or shop there again. Fk em
