The process buying this home was not the easiest with people we had in place - but Augusta had really stepped it up and didn’t make us feel like we were asking too many questions. Explained everything to us on what was going to happen. If we had a question or concern they got back to us insanely quick. I would be recommending this company to all of my friends and family.
Dwayne was the best to work with we can not compliment him more- love the follow up after the sale by Augusta. Did not make us feel like a number.

Great communication with all parties in a 1031 exchange transaction in which timing is important. Sean helped us close within three weeks of acceptance of offer. I m in Sonoma County and was able to complete loan application on line and use e-signing. Notary required only as escrow was ready to close and used local escrow company and an exchange company in San Diego county. Realtors, exchange company administrators and two escrow companies staff commented on Sean s excellent follow up to clarify fees and funds received and getting pre-approval letter for loan to them. He worked on the weekends when necessary to make the deal happen and explained a form required by the lender to the seller.

Kevin Ker and the Augusta team came highly recommended from several people, and after closing on our new home we now see why. It s always tough when folks set such high expectations, but at every turn Kevin raised the bar. Always available if I had questions, went above and beyond during a pretty challenging time for rates, made use of some excellent buy-down options, and was a lot of fun to work with throughout a process that s usually so stressful, but this time just wasn t at all. I am sure some of the high rated reviews are real and warranted. I would give them 0 stars. I was the seller in a transaction that took 70 days to close. For most of those 70 days we got very little accurate information from the agent or loan officer. We almost lost our new house, reschedule our move 5 times, lived out of boxes for months and the delays cost everybody in this transaction 1000s of dollars. After contacting the owner of Augusta the transaction still took 3 weeks longer and very little urgency or concern for the financial impact. Simple things that should have taken a day, took a week. The market may be different in SCAL compared to NCAL, but they had zero since of urgency or commitment to the original close date. The stress we experienced was overwhelming. If you are a seller, dont accept an offer if they are using this lender.

Mike Meera and his team (Kris/Mallory) were the best! The communication was fluid and constant and had to be with my application as I feel it was not your typical sale experience. From taking my call on a Saturday afternoon to sending paperworks sometimes on a Sunday I was always tracking the what, why and where of the whole process. Someone was always available to answer my questions or assist if I had any questions. Shortly after completing the sale process I used them again for another financing and entity and once again top notch. We all hear the hoopla on shopping and finding the right team, Augusta Financial was the right pick. After my divorce I didnt think I would be able to qualify for a loan, especially with the high home prices in Los Angeles and rising interest rates in late 2022. I was surprised and excited when I was able to find a home in my price range and Augusta was able to get a conventional loan for me when two other brokers couldnt. These folks are loan ninjas; I cant recommend them highly enough. Fast and efficient communications as well.

I had the great fortune of getting to work with Jordan Must from Augusta Financial for my first home loan and Jordan was absolutely incredible! This house in particular was a bit of tricky process as it was a probate sale but Jordan knocked it out of the park. He worked with us in an extremely detailed way in order to help us find the right way to approach the loan, how much to put down, etc. etc. etc. He was fantastic at talking everything through with us, which was especially helpful as first time homebuyers. Purchasing a home for the first time and going through the mortgage application process can be daunting and stressful. Sean made my first home purchase infinitely easier. He was patient with my questions and concerns, explained the process clearly, and did what was in my best interest the entire time. He provided me with a realistic timeline of the application process and promptly took care of everything needed to be done to stay on the timeline. I feel very lucky that he helped me and would definitely recommend him to everyone.

We first were recommended to Steve Tampus around December 2020, by a realtor we were working with via Redfin/NextHome apps. It was originally our intention to keep our first home, and buy a second as our mortgage officer at the time said it shouldnt be a problem after reviewing our finances. We were all set to go with our original lender when Steve came in and promised he could close just as fast, and also get our downpayment from 20% down to 15%. Our realtor also advised us that it would be better to work with a local lender as our offer may not be taken seriously by the buyer of our dream home. While this advice rubbed us the wrong way, we chose Steve anyway because we had missed a few homes in November from overbid offers. He ensured us that while we were both at new jobs for over 6 months, our six months of paystubs and our taxes should be sufficient in getting our loan processed. After reviewing our file over the weekend, he advised us that we would need to sell our first home in order to qualify for the lower downpayment. We wanted this house so bad, we had our agent list our first home, and accepted the first offer tossed our way because we didnt want our home sale to affect the closing of our new dream home. After weeks of going back and forward with Steves team, and getting our first home into Escrow, we were now almost at the end of week 2 for our Escrow. Steve informed us underwriter was reviewing our files and we should know by this coming Monday (1/3/21). It was Tuesday 1/4/21, when we received the grim news. The underwriter declined our loan because they did not like that my wife was making more income then I. We even had the owner of our company write a letter explaining why she was hired with a higher pay. We were on a trip in Tahoe with our kids when we received the bad news and it seems discriminatory that they would call my wifes pay fishy. Thankfully, we did not lose our dream home as we went back to our original lender (C2 Financial Corp), and fortunately they were so good that they were able to close in TEN days without any hiccups. Stevens team never even refunded back the inspection that his team ordered and never used. We will work on charging this back, as they never return calls or emails. TLDR: Was all set to offer on our dream home, but our showing agent recommended using a local lender to be taken seriously. Steve and team were responsive originally, but as the weeks went on and the escrow clock was ticking they failed us in the worse way possible. We could still have our first home, and not just our dream home had we not listened to these people. The whole ordeal felt shady, almost mafia like. Even the buyers of our current home did not like anyone from Augusta and Keller Williams VIP.

I dont recommend this place. A big waste of time. Do your research before doing something like this. They ran my credit for nothing and didnt point me to the right direction just moved on.

Mike Meena and his team were incredibly hard-working and kind and stayed late to help us rush through an approval after our first lender left us in a bind. They had outstanding communication and Mike called me personally a couple of times (even though they are INSANELY BUSY right now) to talk over our situation and explain what was going on. My husband and I were just incredibly thankful for Mike and his crew and its clear that they are leaders and well-regarded in the SCV for a reason.

Ive delt with Augusta Financial 3 times. Im not a paperwork person or someone who posts reviews but I feel so good I had to write a review. The whole homebuying/refinancing thing can be overwhelming but the crew at Augusta Financial makes the process painless. 100% recommend them and I would not go with anyone else. 6 years after my first home buying experience Im at it again and dealing with the same people who helped me years ago which says allot about the buisiness. Save yourself from stressing out and contact them.

People B+....Refinance Process F Alicia and David were great. Augustas process was TERRIBLE. Im not complaining about the many months of waiting. Its also important to point out that we have amazingly high credit scores. The nightmare began AFTER we signed the mountain of paperwork with the notary. Its reasonable to think that you are just about ready to close and be done after that happens. Think again! Almost daily, after that point, we were sent one or more additional documents to sign. Seemingly senseless and mostly duplicated documents that we had recently signed and were told needed to be updated as required by underwriting. We figured that there was nothing anyone could do since underwriting required these things. Shortly we realized that underwriting is really another part of Augustas own staff that was papering us to death. This was November 2020. The most insane part came when Augusta demanded we prepay thousands of dollars for the complete premium for 2021s homeowners insurance or they would not close. I would give them one star but after much stress and thousands of dollars put out that we did not anticipate, we did finally manage to close. Wish we had chosen someone else to do this refinance for us.

I highly recommend Kevin Ker for all your loan needs! He made the process so simple and explained everything along the way. For a first time home buyer it is a little nerve-racking and you don t quite know what you re getting yourself into but Kevin made it super simple to understand and I was never lost or confused during the entire process. Also any time something came up and I had a question he was super easy to get a hold of.

I was on day 22 of Escrow of my very first home purchase when I got horrible news from my then lender, Chase Bank. Chase informed me that they could not and would not fund my loan AFTER telling me on several occasions that I was clear, and I could sign off on the loan contingencies (which I did). I was going to lose my earnest deposit. I was heartbroken. PETER COSFOL TO THE RESCUE! I was referred to Peter over at Augusta Financial. He was such a blessing! He saved me! I had the amazing luck of being referred to Sean Treloggen by a real estate agent a couple of years ago. I wasnt approved for a loan initially, but Sean sent me a message the following year to give my application another try. His diligence got the ball rolling, and I was fortunate to find my first home and a great rate all thanks to Sean! Because it was my first home purchase, I had many questions regarding all of the technical language within mortgage documents, but Sean was always ready and eager to help. Although it took longer than expected to close escrow, staff did their job to their best since this is a manufactured home purchase. We totally understand and we still closed inspite of all the hurdles that came along with it. We appreciate all the work everyone did. My only suggestion is to have a stricter and better timeline guidelines to ensure everything gets done to meet the deadlines so as not to delay the process. I know sometimes it s beyond our control things happen because so many people are involved. But overall we re still happy we re in our new home and appreciated everyone for the hard work and patience that came with it. Thank you all so much Augusta Financial especially Brett Doscher and team who didn t give up and patiently worked so hard to get this case closed.

I cant imagine a better agency to go to for your loan. My agent was Patricia White and she worked day and night to get me through my first home purchase. She went out of her way and got me through escrow in a little over a month time which is pretty incredible these days. She pushed and made things happen. She helped with my insurance which is not her job but got me an insurance agent for my high fire area which was difficult and in the nick of time so Escrow could close. Patricia as well as my real estate agent Judy Jenson was an amazing team and would not hesitate to use again!
