Foreman Financial

I had an extremely negative experience with Foreman Financial that I feel compelled to share. Despite making just a few delayed payments, they moved quickly to repossess my vehicle. Following the repossession, I was responsible for paying not only the outstanding balance but also an exorbitant amount of fees, totaling in the thousands.
The repossession costs, which I believe should be at least partly covered by Foreman, were fully passed onto me, adding $1,400 to my financial burden. Their approach to customer service was also very distressing. I received daily calls from their representatives, particularly from an agent named Adelina, which felt more harassing than professional.

The financial strain and emotional stress caused by this company's actions have been overwhelming. Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for their financial needs.

My loan was going good. I was making all my payments on time and did not have any issues with the company.

The reason for the 2 STARS is I got into an accident (which was not my fault) the car was totaled. I went to the hospital and was paid by the insurance company (for back story). Where foreman comes into play is, I had gap insurance (which they require you get in the contract) after the totaled car was settled with the insurance and the gap was paid to foreman, they continued to go after me for funds that should have been covered by the gap insurance. They then took me to court which I was not aware of and garnished my wages. They would not consider removing the charges nor working with me.

I don't recommend this company to anyone. They are not customer-centric and will dog you out the first chance they get.

These people are horrible. I paid off my loan and they still inquire on my credit. I don’t want to do business with you people I haven’t done business with the people since 2013. We are now in 2023. I’m going to call my congressman and have them look into this. This is ridiculous fraud that is best. You guys are thieves.

Due to having shabby credit I researched all the local high risk lenders in the greater Los Angeles area. Although Foreman Financial had some poor reviews I decided to borrow directly from them based off a recommendation from a friend that was brutally honest with me.

One Foreman Financial is extremely busy, when I call I may be on hold for a few minutes, but at least I am able to speak directly with a live person. Two straight out the gate my interest rate was high, no matter whom my lender was going to be due to my poor credit my interest rate was going to be high, Foreman was very forthcoming with this information.

I had an unexpected financial hardship that caused me to become delinquent with my loan, Foreman's staff was professional yet direct about the standing of my defaulted loan. Jorge, Josie, Alejandra, Javier and Joanna all assisted me during my default and after my vehicle was repossessed. Yes, if a person does not pay their vehicle loan then their vehicle will be repossessed; this is no one else's fault but mine. The redemption process was scary at first because of the amount of money I was told I would be required to cover the loan amount that was dues, reinstatement fees, repossession fees and storage. Once I spoke with Jose directly and explained my situation and that I could not afford all the fees up front, Jose helped in getting me back into my vehicle. Jose explained that the remaining fees I was not able to cover could be added to my loan.

The company I redeemed my repossessed vehicle from was a bit out of the way, but they were very friendly and professional. The company not only gave me a discount, but they explained everything that I would be required to do in order to get my vehicle back.

With any loan a consumer must be willing to be responsible for financial obligation.

Terrible company, first and last time I want to finance with them, they are thieves who send you to pick up your car without a logical explanation...they picked up my car because it was not parked at my address, now it turns out that you have to ask permission to go to wherever with your car the person who answers the phone ADELINA, arrogant and rude, treats you in a bad way, 28 months paying on time and they come out with this nonsense . If you read my review, think twice before buying from these THIEVES.

About five years ago when a defaulted loan for sent to collections and the courts went through with garnishing my fathers wages, I called and begged for this company to give us a chance to pay them without the court. The man on the other line laughed at me and hung up on me. We lost our home and my father couch surfed for some time and I had to scramble to find a place to live after I got kicked out of the house, which I paid rent for.

Incompetent!!! Not professional at all! Seems like they hate there jobs and goal must be do the least possible while working. they answer with an attitude, forget to process critical information. 7 years later they blame the DMV for not removing lean holder on vehicle Had to Pay to get proof of pay off notarized was told 3-5 business days called 5 days later to be told it takes weeks to notarize my paperwork.

Dishonest company / /Did not feel valued as a customer. I paid a payment with my card and they processed the payment using an old bank acct that was on file. The payment obviously didnt clear. Next thing I know, they repod my car. Sleazy way to get me to pay additional fees. Hold on to you wallets and RUN!!

I would advise that anyone looking this company up pay close attention to the patterns seen with those whove posted 5 stars. They either mention specific names or mention the customers of Foreman Financial as being uncreditworthy, therefore invalid. I was a customer with Foreman Financial until I decided to have them take the vehicle back. I had issues with FF during the first six months of the loan with failing to post payment and adding fees. I spent a lot of time contacting the office, only to be met with unprofessional, rude, and incompetent individuals (they do hang up on you). It took a great deal of submissions of proof of payment (i.e. cancelled checks and bank statements) to get them to update the account. After a year, I told FF to take the vehicle back. They sent a letter stating that the vehicle would be sold at auction, the amount made would be credited to the account and I would be responsible for the remainder. No calls, no letters, no credit to the account. Quite the contrary. FF sent information to the credit bureaus claiming that there was over $14,000 outstanding (mind you, the vehicle was 10,000 to start and a year of payments had been made). Futher, on the report, they show that only a few payments had been made and displayed YEARS of non-payment. Additionally, they inserted the comment Written off, could not locate customer. This company banks on those who do not keep sound records. Do not fall for the bogus 5 star reviews. No legitimate companies have a large number of fives and an immense number of one stars with only a handful of twos, threes, and fours. I dont care how much of a rut you may be in, FF will only dig you deeper. Bad business, unethical practice.

Unfortunately we had to come across a company like this, such thieves. I would be ashame if I worked for this people. We paid off a loan for a vehicle that had been involved in an accident because we did not purchase gap insurance. Nonetheless, we called to make final payoff and they would not take payment over the phone. Reported us 30 days late with credit bureau finally 1 employee decided to accept payment telling my husband it was the payoff and later they sent a bill for $40+ when we called about it they said it was the balance and then we figured out that they were so eager to take the payment that they accepted less telling my husband it was all he owed. We sent in the balance in a check which never got to them and we called in again after not seeing the checked cleared and they got an approval to accept over the phone. Now if that was possible why did you not offer that when we were trying to pay off the loan. That would have been the norm for a customer service base company. Now that I called to request a review of the issue the guy threatened me with showing proof of when payment was made and I said sure you can also show your notes when we attempted to make payment and you would not acceotnover the phone yet now you can. Be careful with these type of companies. They are so eager to damage your credit but we do have consumer affairs to protect us and social media now to inform everyone. I feel sad for the people that have to use them because they do not have a choice.

Okay so it took me a little while to actracta put this review in because I was a little upset. Not so much at forman financial.. but anyways I messed up and got my car reposessed. Jose Fuentes is a cool and understandable dude. He did what he could for me. I got my car back. But my car always had a radiator leak. And the I repo guy drove it to me without any water in cooling system. The minute I got into my car all my overheating lights was on. I put water in it and drove off. I drove it one week. Now my car has a blown head gasket. I noticed it was getting water in the oil.. the second problem is when I got it back I had took it to put gas. I noticed it wasnt only hit from the back... But someone tried to spray primer on the bumper where it got hit. Not a little hit either.. So Im not happy with the I-repo company.. but it isnt really nothing to do with forman.. I shouldnt of got it repossessed.. I am still going to give this 5 stars on the behalf of forman financial working with me. And Jose Fuentes ext 115 being respectful and understanding. Its a good company you just have to work with them the way they try to work with you. I didnt have the money so I avoided them. Not the way to go. Thank you forman financial and Jose fuentes. This is ABSOLUTELY the worst finance company. Horrible horrible! They will rip you off with interests and they will fine you for everything. You provide information needed and give it to them and they loose it and charge you. Horrible horrible plz go anywhere else except here. Beware beware. So I turned my car into them as a voluntary repo. I had a negative balance on my account and it posted on my credit report. Fast forward about a year later the account was picked up by a collection company. Now both Foreman Finacial and the collection company are both reporting on my credit report. So I talked with foreman to settle the debt. I paid off the debt and the collection company is deleted from my credit report. However foreman is still reporting on my report that I owe an outstanding balance . How is this possible? Now I have to dispute this for the 3rd time because they are crooks and a shady dishonest company.

I can honestly say I have NEVER encountered a group of incompetent people such as the ones employed by Foreman Financial. They would contact all my references monthly when my payment was due; not after more than 30 days,they would call my references within the 10 day grace period that they provide. They would blow up my phone via text and call a week prior to my payment being due ,MONTHLY! then Moises decided to take me off auto pay,because they make money off you by taking an over the phone payment. Whenever my husband would call in a payment ,they would tell him they wouldnt be able to receive his payment because he wasnt authorized to make payments; EVEN after we supplied Melissa with the proper documentation as requested,various times. Then my insurance paid off my car after it was totalled, on August 13th, today is Sept 27th and I have yet to receive my check . I have called every Friday,because thats when checks go out. I have spoken to Alejandra,who is the supervisor, I have spoken to Javier, and Andrea the one who sends out the checks,and every Friday they have told me that my check had already been sent out the week prior. It wasnt until today, the 27th that I was able to get a tracking number from them! Alejandra Saltos, Andrea Cervantez, Moises, Javier and Melissa are the ABSOLUTE WORST! You guys make the Hispanic community look bad!

I was lucky Forman Financial was the only one able to give me a chance and finance me to get my car from a dealer they were really helpful with the process and was able to take my car same day I am a college student and sometimes was out of work to go full time to school and would struggle with my payments. I ve been with them for over 5 years and anytime I wasn t able to pay I would call and they would always help me out to see what they can do by moving payments to the end my contract so I would be able to catch up. I m very grateful for Jose Fuentes as he was the one who helped me the most I would highly recommend Forman Financial and speaking to Jose to anybody trying to finance a vehicle they are amazing at what they do!!!

Horrible customer service over the phone, in person I imagine its worse. The lady answered my call the first time said she couldnt hear me, call was dropped? I called back, as a phone operator myself i always introduce myself, she didnt. I asked if she could hear me better she said yes, I asked for her name and she said I DIDNT GIVE IT TO YOU and quickly placed me on hold for 8 minutes which I waited for her to get back on the line, because the holding music says we value your time and we are probably helping another customer something a long those lines. She then got back on the line and hung up. Obviously she wasnt a manager with her poor work ethic and skills, refinancing my car else where. It was ok for the year it lasted.

This company is Horrible with a capital H.. They make mistakes on your credit report and say that its your fault . I would like to thank Foreman Financial for any & everything they have help me with. They have went beyond the measure of helping me in my dire needs. I am very grateful for having a finance company such as Foreman Financial because if it wasnt for them I wouldnt be able to start my new job as well as put food on my table. By far the worst unprofessional Finance Company I have ever delt with. I was charged a LDW fee for over several months while having insurance with an outside company. Foreman refuses to credit my account for these charges as well as late fees that accumulated due to the fees. I have talked to several different Customer service reps from Managers to posing Supervisors yet to have the matter resolved. My contract with Foreman should have been officially paid off 2-3 months ago. The price continues to fluctuate from $600-$1000 that s owed (so they say) However because of these miscellaneous charges I am now reflecting a negative rating on my credit report in which during the 42 month contract I had only received 1 late payment negative report against me. Now I am down 81 points and counting on credit and there threatening to repo my car over LDW/ and or late fees. When all actuality I should be receiving my title and reflect a positive rating on my credit. I have contacted the better business bureau and they deceived that paper work and response. This company is unethically trained and have no morals when it comes to Customer Service. My next attempt to call the media so Foreman Financial can be exposed in likes of letting the general public know not be bamboozled by this cricket company. My rating would had been a zero but was only allowed to make review by putting a 1.

This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. No one knows what is going on i have left several messages with no return call. Been working with them for refinance for 3 months still not complete. Then they bribed me to give a good review so i wouldnt have to pay the 150.00 application fee.

CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hopefully other customers will read this, check their account & respond this is My sister financed her car with Foreman Financial in 08/2012 for $23,000. She has made every payment either check or money never having any problems. Its now 08/2017 her last payment shes excited and relieved but checking the mail EVERYDAY after work waiting for her title still nothing. To find out they are charging customers to customers for day they receive the mail not the post office date stamp allowing them to add fees onto the account as days late. I can only imagine how many customers they have billed under that practice. EX: Your payment is due on Jan 10. Your check is dated the 7th, your envelope is date stamped 7th from the post office, they receive it on Tuesday 12th the payment is considered 2 days late. Which means over a four-year period those days can add to hundreds of dollars & they manage to hustle customers by these bogus fees. We decided to come in to speak to the manager on a Saturday when he finally came out he handed us papers and was sorry his printer was down no resolution there. Funny how copy, paste and rushing dont go hand in hand. I can only imagine the customers who have paid the fees just to be done. On the other hand, they ve stole my sisters JOY & theyve shown POOR unacceptable practice

This bank is for people with bad credit needing a opportunity to build credit or a 2nd chance. I thank them for giving me a chance to build my vehicle credit. Since I was given a loan and took care of my bills as I should my credit has jumped 200 points over the last few years. Im about to buy a home and it with Foremans help thank you. Everyone complaining so much but yet your credit is reason you were only able to buy through this bank its awesome they are willing to help people that the other big banks wont even look at. The GPS is in case you dont pay your bill and try to hide. Every time I called they were kind and helped me quickly so if you speak right with them they will be nice with you. They deal with bad credit and rude people all day every day so they will treat you how you treat them. My experience has been great and I appreciate Foreman Financial.

From when I first started with my financing to when I finished paying my vehicle, I never had any issues with Foreman. Not only were they very helpful everytime I called but they also worked so much with me. I was going through some financial hardships which made it a bit difficult to make my payment but there grace period followed by the genuine interest in helping, definitely helped me out.

I went to Teos auto sales in South Gate. Dont recommend them anymore. My tires were all worn out and breaks. They didnt want to change them. Foreman Financial is no good.

This company is by far the worst loan company Ive ever had to work with. The are so shady, rude if the customer is upset, and try to get off the phone when the feel that the customer is getting upset. I talked to a girl yesterday named Yevette who got upset with my girlfriend for wanting someone to help us bc of our financial situation. They didnt care about us at all, the just repo the car, no warning, no talked to us, no tried to help us. This company is greedy and will rob you for all the money they can. They are so shady its ridiculous, the manager Jose, isnt going to help you either, hes just going to tell you no and tell you why youre wrong.

My loan is long paid off with them, but when I hit upon hard financial times as many people did a few years ago, they made my life a living hell despite my efforts to be open, honest, and up front with them while doing my very best to pay anything I could. They came to my house and harassed my neighbors, flooded my cell phone with messages such that I couldnt get other messages about jobs I had been applying for, and bombarded the people I listed as references with about as many phone messages as they did me. This was when my account was only a slight amount behind. I would walk through hell itself before doing business with Foreman Financial again.

Just called for my pmt info was my first pmt was not sure what date my pmt was.Its not like I was hiding from them or anything like that I do understand that they might have clients that gives them a hard time ,I felt she judge me without knowing me only wanted info and to pay my pmt .I felt a little unconfortable how she relyed her msj to me .

Worse company ever.. I paid over $14000 for a 2002 Honda Accord , I gave a down payment of $2500 and instead of deducting that amount from the cost of the vehicle they added it!! People who work for Foreman Financial are like children. They have no moral concept for general concern for the customer. They are solely around for making as much money as they can. Due to having shabby credit I researched all the local high risk lenders in the greater Los Angeles area. Although Foreman Financial had some poor reviews I decided to borrow directly from them based off a recommendation from a friend that was brutally honest with me. One Foreman Financial is extremely busy, when I call I may be on hold for a few minutes, but at least I am able to speak directly with a live person. Two straight out the gate my interest rate was high, no matter whom my lender was going to be due to my poor credit my interest rate was going to be high, Foreman was very forthcoming with this information. I had an unexpected financial hardship that caused me to become delinquent with my loan, Foremans staff was professional yet direct about the standing of my defaulted loan. Jorge, Josie, Alejandra, Javier and Joanna all assisted me during my default and after my vehicle was repossessed. Yes, if a person does not pay their vehicle loan then their vehicle will be repossessed; this is no one elses fault but mine. The redemption process was scary at first because of the amount of money I was told I would be required to cover the loan amount that was dues, reinstatement fees, repossession fees and storage. Once I spoke with Jose directly and explained my situation and that I could not afford all the fees up front, Jose helped in getting me back into my vehicle. Jose explained that the remaining fees I was not able to cover could be added to my loan. The company I redeemed my repossessed vehicle from was a bit out of the way, but they were very friendly and professional. The company not only gave me a discount, but they explained everything that I would be required to do in order to get my vehicle back. With any loan a consumer must be willing to be responsible for financial obligation.

This company has made me the maddest Ive ever been at one time and even with visual proof they will still insist that you are wrong and try to keep your money. I did not have the choice of what bank my loan was through when I purchased my vehicle but if you have choice, pick the other one, NO MATTER WHAT
