Maxim Commercial Capital, LLC

Greetings,
We financed a semi truck with this finance company back in July 2021 through Southland International. We only received A equipment financing agreement that states the payment amount and months financed. We only had the vehicle nearly 30 days before we had a major breakdown. The dealership contacted the financing company to assist us with a hardship deferment due to the circumstances. They provided us with a 2 month deferment after we had made 1 payment. They later provided us with a second deferment due to the same issues. We spoke with the finance company today after going over our paperwork because we should be down to our last couple payments. The documents that we were provide stated 42 payments at $1400 a month, they later adjusted it to $1600 a month and it still stated 42 months on the addendum documents. We go online and it has 55 payments total, 38 made and 6 remaining. We contact the finance company and was told that for 2 deferred payments they added approximately 9 additional payments. I asked the to send me a copy of the deferment agreements and the financial documents to show exactly what our interest rates are , and to no avail. We were told over the phone that they are not obligated to provide information regarding the interest rate . I mean How do I know what my obligation is if I do not have that info. We used them due to that's who the dealership recommended. I was under the impression that all other documents that were not provided at the dealership would be mailed to us. This finance company is a rip off. They are more like a loan shark. Please do not use them.

I am so grateful for Maxim Commercial Capital. I have been critically sick since two weeks after I got my first truck, in and out of the hospital. I am a Covic survivor. This company has been great and understanding. I mainly give this credit to Mark A. He has been great by making me feel better. There are times when I couldn't pay the whole payment at a time. But I always would pay something. I am new at starting my own business and I am still learning. Thanks to Mark A , I have not given up. As a 1st time large loan (50k) customer I'm glad Maxim was open to allowing me to get a loan!!! Considering the economy, only gripe is that they don't report to Credit Bureaus 4.5/5 overall, customer service is pleasant and informative and spoke to Miss Delia Pelato who was vey informed when it came to me paying off the rest of my loan, FYI they do send you a credit form for you to submit to the credit bureaus, If need another loan would consider being a repeat Customer.

He calls us regularly with questions or needs and yesterday, he went above and beyond. There was an upset customer that was quite frankly rude to Juan, Val and I, however, Juan handled the situation with care and courtesy. He stayed on the line with myself, Val, and the customer for over 30 minutes to resolve the situation. The customer not nice to any of us and extremely impatient, however, Juan was very calm cool, and collected and I cannot tell you how much I appreciated him waiting on the phone with us. It helped to easy my anxiety during this stressful situation with an upset customer knowing that Juan was right there with us. Great job Juan! Keep on calling! We love you!

I had to remove my last review about working with Maxim,After paying the truck for 25 months and getting behind for two months due to repairs.Maxim decided to repo my truck .tried to work with them but no results.absolutely heartbreaking and the people I talked to like mr Jonathan.did not care a bit about what I explained to them.had to expend over $7000.00 in parts and labor but because i was 1436.00x2 they decided to repo my truck.I feel what they did was illegal but I do not have a choice and my account is dry.Do not deal with these Crooks.

Sales rep said the interest rate was about 20 percent, once I was approved and a hard inquiry on the credit profile the truth comes out saying its between 20-40 percent interest and I have good credit. 38% percent with 48 month term unbelievable!!!! borrowing 30k payback was 64K RUN!!! I didnt take the loan and you dont build business credit they dont report to the commercial credit bureau . Im sure they do that for customers to return.

They dont report good credit. Otherwise they are okay so far. Smhh. Update. Ive changed this from a 2 star to 5 because of Illiana!! She is amazing. Her knowledge and communication concerning my account is always on point. I dont feel like another number. Shes always helpful no matter what. The goal is always to make sure both me the customer and Maxim gets what we both deserve. Be honest with them and they will help you. Im almost done with my payments. Most companies want to get over on you. She wants you to be able to come back for future business and because of her I will continue to do business with Maxim.

Maxim Commercial Capital always responds the same day and even within hours of submitting the transaction. Their responses are detailed as to why it got approved under the structure they approved it or on the other hand, they do the same, when they decline a transaction. They consider as well real estate owned by the potential client to strengthen transactions or if potential client needs cash, they can easily provide cash via the real estate that they own. They do handle and approve highly challenged transactions.

Maxim CC is easy to work with. I am a start up company and they processed my equipment loan quickly. It was funded within 2 days of the equipment becoming available. Sam Hewitt was instrumental during the entire proces. He kept me updated throughout the process and responded quickly to my questions. The underwriting team is keen and do not miss anything. This is one of the most unprofessional businesses I ve ever dealt with! Due to the strain in the economy I have struggled to make payments but have communicated with them and been very honest. I ended up getting hospitalized with COVID for 2 months! They initially expressed concern and told me they would work out arrangements with me telling me to call them last Friday to set these said arrangements up. I give them a call and a gentleman by the name of Mark informed me that they re just going to repo the truck when asked about the arrangement he said we could work out. I was informed things change and he proceeded then hung up on me. I have called this man everyday since to see if there is anything I can do to rectify this situation and make a payment but he will not answer my calls, return them, or accept payment. When times get hard and the economy falls this company surely will not have your back or even in the slightest help you! Run from this company as far as you can!

This is a high risk finace company. Do not fiancé with them. I spent 150 grand in 4 years on a50k Volvo. They stick you with fees. 2000 fees for what I don t know. They call and insult you and don t know all details about the loan. I have a 14 k security deposit and the person says really. Like come on pal. Do not deal with these people. They are unprofessional crooks. Your gunna waste a lot of money. I m on my last year and they keep tacking on fees and money I don t know where or why. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Horrible. Keeps me up at night

If I could give this company 0 stars I would ve have. They are very unprofessional and rude. I deal with a so called lady named Julie and she told me she is the manager and I can t go above her. I made a payment while I was on the phone with a representative, emailed it, and got confirmation that payment received. 5 days later Julie calls me and tells me my account is past due because she can t see the date and time on the receipt and if I didn t get her the full receipt she was repoing my truck. It s the day before thanksgiving and I would ve been gone if my flight wasn t canceled for me to go back to the bank. She was still going to have my truck repoed even tho payment had been made. I asked if I could change my due date from the first to the end of the month due to me being in a accident and can t work they tell me $300 to change the due date, $259 to correct the tittle that they messed up. We had a great experience with Maxim. Javier has helped us a lot the two times we contacted him. Charles did a great job as well in getting all the paperwork. No customer service, they can t answer phones, or reply to emails, it s very frustrating to deal with them...it takes like 2 weeks to get an answer to a simple question (e.g. what s my payoff balance? Or why haven t you paid the shop with the claim money issued by my insurance company?) I m not making this up, they take their sweet time to reply

Maxim has been great to deal with, I initially was introduced to Maxim by Katie who sent Alina out to visit me at Gator Truck Sales. Alina has been very attentive and great with my customers. Maxim will do deals other lenders wont.

I have been working with Maxim Commercial Capital LLC for 5 years now. Although we havent done many deals together this is the top place for Subprime Approvals! If the buyer needs financing with challenged credit and money down then send them to Maxim. Get fast approvals but need many items for documentation and funding. Must have everything in order to fund it may take a few days so be clear with the customer about insurance and funding. Yes, fees and rate are extreme but if you need a deal quick MCC is the way to go!

There have been numerous times when i am working with a buyer who needs a truck but has challenged credit. Most of the time Maxim is a great option to send to and work with. They respond fast and help me close sales we cant finance directly.

This was my first experience with the Maxim CC team and the second deal funded by them for our firm, HFF (now JLL). Both Charles and Michael were very knowledgeable and immensely helpful in the process of securing this loan to refinance a hotel in Texas. They understood the economics of the deal and quickly completed the transaction to assist the Sponsor in avoiding further extension fees on his expiring loan. Would highly recommend their group to borrowers that have unique situations and deals that are difficult to fund.

ZERO stars -Check out all the negative reviews and see for yourself : they don t deny their poor customer service, nobody returns calls, nobody acknowledges your emails, ...you can t even check your account balances or anything, they don t have have an online portal, so they force you to call and email to then get ignored!

Everything Was Made Simple and payments was hassle-free auto-pay. How to cross a lot of Ts and Dot a lot of Is. That was expected for being a new customer. But still they made it simple.

Service was fine. Wish it reflected on my credit report, made on time monthly payment hopping it would positively reflect on report. Only they didnt report in my case. Also, an online portal would be greatly appreciated...

I can say maxim bank is the cheaters and theft they deceive people. After they give you final approval they add they are interest. I would never ever suggest maxim bank

Interest rate is ungodly high. Very disappointed with the service provided to me. They dont know the interest rate they charge and after several phone calls they told me to have an accountant check it. After paying them off it took 3 weeks for my lien release to be mailed out. Would not recommend this company to an enemy. Pretty sure loan-sharking is illegal. the mafia had lower interest rates then these guys.

stay away from this company. They ignore your calls and never give you information. We call and call and no answer and when they answer they are rude! they tell you they cannot help with payment if your late. I asked for 1 week to make payment and they get mad at me. They do not know customer service or how to be nice. No more business with this company!

This is the worst company to get a loan from... I got a semi truck and they financed it I have been making all my payments on time and it s been about a year now that I just want to get my balance just to see where I stand and since they just withdraw money from my account I don t get a bill in the mail or anything and when I call they never answer I left countless voicemails and when I do get an answer they just tell me to look at my contract and then they hang up...highly recommend you get financed somewhere else with better customer service

IM GIVING MAXIM A 5 STAR THEY HAVE BEEN THERE WHEN I NEEDED THEM WHEN MY CREDIT WAS DOWN AND ONLY 2 YRS AFTR BANKRUPTCY THEY FINANCED ME MY 1ST TRUCK AND 9 MONTHS AFTER THAT, THEY FINANCED MY SECOND ONE. JAZMIN HAS BEEN RT ON WITH EVERY REQUEST . IM DOWN TO ONLY HAVING 6 REMAINING PAYMENTS ON THE 1ST LOAN AND ONLY 7 FOR 2ND LOAN AND POSSIBLY HAVE THEM FINANCE ME ANOTHER TRUCK AFTER THESE HAVE PAID IN FULL. Let me start by saying I am a semi-truck/ logistics business owner, not a broker or loan officer of any kind. Also this review Im writing is actually an edited version on the original I was going to post but then i saw some of the other reviews and wanted to offer some context. The original truck I was funded for turned out to actually be an illegal lemon. This company had my back and did whatever it took with the dealership to get me a truck that is reliable. Also, Julie in Payments/ Collections has been very helpful, reliable, patient, informative and understanding since day 1 and thought out the whole process and continues to be. People like Julie make Maxim a place I want to continue to do business with.

Worst people to do business with they are rude and inconsiderate. I called to make a payment and get a payoff now the payoff is higher then what the payoff was last month. Be careful people they will rip u off.

Very lousy customer service. It s so frustrating when people don t answer their phones! You have to use their main switchboard and press 1 for this and 2 for that so you can hopefully talk to someone, because their direct lines seem to be broken, I m not sure ? I m trying to run a business, but they seem to not care about my issues, all they care is $$$$ ripping people off and ignoring them ! I can t wait to to pay off this loan and never have to deal with these people ! I d rather deal with a room full of crying babies

I got funding with Maxim about a year ago, so far I have had a good experience with them. Yes, the interest is a little higher than a bank, but, this are business loans. You can not compare a conventional loan with a business loan. I am really satisfied so far. The only reason they do not get a 5 star rating from me is there response time. Phones are rarely answered and the callbacks usually do not come. Other than that I am very happy with the funding they provided.... Thank you Maxim for helping out in getting the equipment I needed for my business.

They also help retrieve a stolen truck that I financed. 5 stars!!! I was in complete shock once I found out my truck was stolen. San Jose Police was really no help ! AVOID getting a loan threw these guys if possible. Interest is very high and if you get behind they will try to penalize you with high and abnormal late fees. There are only two customer service reps Bret and Julie and they are rude and never answer the phone when you call them. My truck payment went a month behind due someone in another semi hitting me and my truck was in the shop for 5 weeks to get repaired. Which caused me to be out of work all that time and Maxim still wanted their payment and refused to give me a one month deferment to allow myself to get back on my feet. There are other lenders in California like Calfund llc. That actually care about there customers. The only people happy about this company are the brokers that are setting up loans programs for their customers threw this financial company.

This the worst company Ive ever done business with. Feels like theyre only nice before you sign the contract since they want your business. After that they dont care, no customer support in this company. Julie is one of their managers, a very rude lady and has no customer services whatsoever. I cant recommend anyone do to business with company. A big ripoff . Cant wait to pay them off.

Awful. They run previously used credit cards without authorization. Late fees are ridiculous, if God forbid you fall even a few days behind. The customer service is bad. Just all around nightmare.

Our family business went to Maxim for a quick turn-around asset-based business loan. The team was well-equipped to guide us through the process since we were new to this type of lending. Theyre here to rip you off. Interest is through the roof even with good credit. Very hard to reach anyone. Attempting to do a payoff but theyll wait to call you back in an attempt to gain more interest. Very shady business practice. I would never recommend them to anyone for anything!

Very bad company for finamcing .bad costumer service in posible reach any one one phone rood policy for inshurence (some one hit you you got chek from inshurence u have send to them ,and they will pay for repair)extrimly high interes .will not refere anyone to go with maxim
