When I was looking for HELOCs online I gave a fake phone number because I don't want the 1000s of phone calls that follow. I did leave my email and said that was my preferred way of contact. Austin was the only person who reached out to me via email. It gave me the chance to research the company and have a conversation with him about my needs before we had a conversation. He ended up recommending a type of loan that suited my needs really well. During the process Austin was on top of the whole thing. He followed-up when he said he would and did a great job. After hitting a generic site inquiring about HELOCs, Joe Totah at West Capital Lending was the only person who came back with actual useful information via e-mail. Everyone else was extremely pushy just trying to get me on the phone. I appreciated Joe giving me something I could think about. Because of that, he was the only person I called. Joe listened to our situation and started us down the road to a HELOC. However, we discovered we could not qualify for the amount we originally wanted. We were quite discouraged and decided to give up and investigate other options. About a week later Joe reached out again with a solution for a lower amount at a very good interest rate. I asked a lot of questions, and ran a lot of options, but Joe was patient and continued to guide us through the process. We worked out a balance of fees, interest rates, and amount for a final HELOC application and within three days we had the money in our account. We were able to save several thousands of dollars in interest. The HELOC was a life saver anxiety eliminator - and we owe it all to Joe for not giving up on us.

I started this loan process over a month ago and was told that the process would take approximately 1-2 weeks to close. I submitted all the information as quickly as possible and have dealt with one of the worst loan officers I have ever dealt with. His name is Ryan and it has been an absolutely terrible experience. I have been literally doing his job by following up with him every single day to check status. That is such terrible customer service and experience. He is not proactive and if I dont follow up, I dont hear from him. As of today, he said he would get back to me with some updates yesterday and still nothing. This has been a horrible experience and I wouldnt recommend anyone to go with West Capital unless Ryan is the bad apple of the bunch.

Matt M, was helpful at first, swore the he would be available 24/7 to help with any questions, then granted me for 3 days while I texted and called, apparently not as available as stated, I got over it the first time only to find that this process was going to be the slowest process Ive ever experienced with less communication than I felt was necessary,to move and keep moving forward, only to stall, my credit was an average across the 3 top reports 710, but he kept telling me it was lower 650s then he had to go to Rocket Mortgage to get a Heloan or second mortgage after his top lender turn me away for incomplete application. I had to that point given everything he asked including g paying down a credit card $3000 to Increase my score to 701. It took 7weeks to arrive at the last straw as the cost kept increasing and now we needed an appraisal, we wanted 35k out of our home equity of 150k , and each time the leand said we need to increase the loan amount first.to 40k and then 45k, we didnt need that much but were lead to feel we didnt have a choice, I feel violated, Abandoned and manipulated, Shane was.the processor and I only heard from him 1x in this whole 7 weeks, I did pulled.the plug and will never recommend this company. My hope is your smarter and wont take two months to cancel.

AVOID WORKING WITH THIS LENDER. If they are funding your loan via HomeXpress, then run for your life. For two DSCR loans, they took 7 weeks to close. Average time we had with other lenders was only 3 weeks. Their terms kept on changing till the closing date and everything was turning against us. They changed interest rate, origination points, insurance requirements, Loan-to-Value ratio. We ended up losing money on both the deals because they delayed closing. The is the unfortunate scenario, since once we start the process it is extremely hard to pull back. THEY DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS. Many matters can be resolved quickly if they simply pick up the phone, but they DONT. Spoke with lender just once while originating the relationship. After that, no answer. Lender doesnt even return phone calls or voice messages. After painful experience, we completed refinance on one property and pulling back on second property. Losing 8 weeks of wait time, interest and appraisal cost. DO NOT USE THIS LENDER.

If my husband and I could give David Mann and West Capital Lending more than five stars we certainly would do so. We had decided last December to take some of the equity out of our home so as to get rid of some lingering debt from the Covid pandemic. We had gone through three different lenders trying to get our refinance done and each one had some excuse at the eleventh hour as to why they could not finish the loan. We had plenty of equity in our home, a healthy income and great work history. We were advised to get in contact with David at West Capital and we were amazed at the incredible customer service we received. David and his processor Kelly Hoffman got to work on our loan immediately and within six weeks our refinance was closed and funded. We were actually treated like people and not just another set of numbers. We cannot thank David and his team at West Capital Lending enough for their tireless efforts.

The two people I worked with Scott and Terry were professional and helpful. Scott gave me choices on what types of loans I could get to refi my house, kept me up to date on the loan. Only thing that I was surprised at was that they asked for documentation (same documentation) multiple times and I had supplied them multiple times. I would use them again, and I will. Scott had said rates would be going down next year and when they do he promised to contact me so we could lower rate again. And I will. I don t know the other loan officers/brokers at West Capital, but I do recommend Scott!

I was speaking with Alonso from this company. Was told my credit was not going to be run as a hard inquiry. Assured a soft inquiry only and would not affect my credit score. That was not the case, a hard inquiry was ran and affected my credit score. Be very careful when dealing with this company. Was told by VP of operations Robert Johnson there was nothing their company could do.

2 appointments I stated I could barely get on the phone for but gave all info under the son to start process. Didn t complain about the generic emails and calls and thought for a moment it s a real person I can communicate with to look at equity off my property that s got $0 against it Instead of empathy I get my 16 year old daughter sending me a message that starts with lol after I m stuck at my kids practice and can t take the call on a Saturday morning. Yes you re right Tom, don t make the appointment if you re not 100% sure you can make it. But since I saw every 15 minute time slot open for you today I wasn t stressing. I m sure the company s great because my sister in law uses them but I wasn t gonna tell him that, instead he showed me they re not the right fit. Thanks Tom you saved my family a decent amount of time and stress!

Been dreading getting a Home equity loan, put a feeler out there and you know......within a minute my phone was on fire.....I refuse to jump in the shark tank, then after about 20 minutes I noticed a message from Rami and West Capital on my phone. I messaged back expecting them to just call me, but he didnt he continued to text me while I made dinner. It was a simple process I answered like 3 questions and within like 20 minutes I had an answer...It was so easy. I met with a Notary (who came to me), signed like 4 pages and a few days later I had my money through a HELOC loan. It is easy, and I now can do the repairs through my house knowing that everything will be good........Thanks Rami...
