Had daughters car ac done Here. I'm from Guam and I needed to get my daughters vehicle done here and Alba was super helpful and informative. Very courteous and humble. Gave me a Veterans discount when I asked if he honored it. I would 100% come back here for all my ac/auto needs. Okay, so my car's AC had been down for several weeks before I was able to deal with it. I called on a Saturday and even though they were closed, Chris picked up and talked me through the process, as I had replaced the compressor with a buddy and he wanted me to be fully aware of the potential issues they might run into.

I dropped off the car on Monday, got an estimate, and I heard from them the next morning - all was well, and the AC was working properly. Long story short, it works great, and the work came in UNDER the estimate. I could not be happier with the service from HB Auto & AC.

I called and they were able to help me the same day, which was amazing since I was leaving on a road trip the same day. I would recommend this business to everyone. I went in thinking I had a vacuum leak due to lean codes. HB Auto & A/C was able to fix the issue (MAF sensor) quick and cheap. In and out within about 4 hours. Thanks again for the honest, quality work.

Got my AC in my Honda Civic repaired a couple of months ago as it was not blowing cold air, and they did a great job! I felt the price was fair and the team was great! HB Auto & AC is the place to go to if you re having any issues with your vehicle! I took my car in because my AC was not blowing cold air. They were able to get the part ordered and installed the same day! Very straight forward, no running around in circles or trying to get me to pay more than I needed to. The service tech Alba did an amazing job replacing the part and explaining what needed to be done. Thank you Dave for being detailed and being on top of things!!! 10/10 Amazing customer service

Found my new go to car place. So easy to work with. Quick drop off, service & pick up. Even got a loaner. Dave has outstanding customer service, makes you feel like family. Good honest people! They found bad/ford spark plugs in my new Range Rover from Carvana cause I was having some issues. Dave even worked with the warranty company! I ll be back for breaks, rotors & anything else I need. Google limits the review text and I have a longer version on Yelp. Essentially, I took the car in for repair for my Tesla Model S that was clearly over their head but they pretended like they knew what they were doing even though they lacked the diagnosis tool and knowledge of Teslas functionalities. I was promised to get the car back on X day but each subsequent phone call something else new was wrong with the car. After weeks of waiting, I became worried and asked for the car back. Well guess what?? I wasnt going to get my car back without paying their bill, which was 50% more than his original quote due to unforeseen items. I asked him well, is the car fixed? Then after a few exchanges of words, he shoved me outside his shop and locked the door on me with my car inside the closed gate. I was actually dumbfounded by the level of stupidity and recklessness this man possessed in treating a customer. I ended up calling HBPD to assist with retrieving the car. I explained Im happy to pay for the service if I could just get into my vehicle to test if the services rendered cured my issues. They wouldnt let me come near the car. Here they were, forcefully impounding my car until I paid them their bill. After a ton of back and forth, while HBPD wasnt able to make them release the car, they agreed to lower the bill to a more tolerable amount which I ended up paying because I needed to get on with my life and needed my car to go to job sites for work. When I got into the car to drive off, my key didnt work. The very key that I used to drive the car there was now un-paired from the car because they had to do a hard reset, but was not able to pair it back as they lacked the tool to do so (as explained by a Tesla tech later on.) This was only the beginning of the night mare which ensued but Im sure youre tired of reading a single review by now. Lets just say they trashed my car, Im missing parts in my front bumper, they ruined my heating/cooling control module so I no longer can charge at a supercharger (previous to visiting them, I was able to charge at a supercharger fine). This forced me to only be able to charge at home which limited my daily range, and since I drive from jobsites to jobsites, this hindered my work terribly. To date, about 2-3 months from my visit, I am still without AC because while my wiring loom was fine when I brought the car to HB Auto, when Tesla diagnosed it the day I got the car back from HB Auto, the wire loom was burned and of course, it is back-ordered from Tesla. HB Auto never diagnosed a burned wire loom or mention of anything close to that in any of the multiple interactions with them. So I know this happened while in HB Autos possession. I drove straight from HB Auto to Tesla the minute I got my car back from them. Sadly I wish I can say this is the end, but Im still waiting for a new wire loom from Tesla. I called this shop after a rough week of figuring out what to do with my car. I am a college student and being away from my dad has made it difficult for me to figure out where to go for car problems without getting scammed. I was visiting my vacation home in HB and the day before leaving to go home, my left rear window broke on my 2007 BMW and my battery was almost dead. Within just a few hours, Dallas was able to get the parts I needed, fix the window, and replaced the battery, all before I had to leave town. Very good experience. They did exactly what they said they would and for the price quoted. I also liked that is was only a 20 minute walk from my house so got my steps in as well :)

After taking my Explorer to Ford for a recall repair, I asked them to check the A/C since it didnt seem to be working like it used to. I said I had been out to the Palm Springs area and it would not cool down the interior. I also have a seat chiller which did not work well either. The service guy said the tech checked the pressures and everything was fine. If I still didnt think it worked properly, bring it back on a hotter day and they would check it again. Well that was a lie! After taking to Dallas, they found that I had picked up a wood screw on the freeway somewhere that punctured the condenser which caused a leak and metal got into the system and overheated the compressor. It was not an inexpensive repair, as you could imagine with all of the damage, but the system is working like new and I have found my new repair shop. Im going out to the desert again this weekend and I know it will at least be comfortable in the car!

Big THANK YOU to this auto shop. It was a rough morning and I was literally crying with a jerking car after one auto shop turned me away until I found this place. Dallas took me in the same day I called the shop, was quick in identifying the problem, and even went extra mile with his service by looking for affordable parts to fix my car so my wallet wouldnt cry later. This location also offers courtesy vehicle as part of their service which was a huge help since I had nothing planned prior to the offer. I have tried different auto shops and the most I have been offered is a trip to the next destination. Dallas was also very generous and provided me with a fuel efficient car in consideration to my long drive. Their customer service is what truly gives a competitive edge to this auto shop vs all the others. Dallas is pretty quick with his communication and will not keep you wondering when you can ever see your car again. He even makes sure that everything is okay driving with the courtesy car and the fixed car even after the posted shop hours. This place actually care about their customers. Thank you so much for everything Dallas and his team did! I am so glad I took my car here :)

I dont usually leave reviews because its not my thing but I just HAD to when it came to my experience with HB Auto & AC. If you have hybrid/electric car issues, HB Auto & AC is the most affordable AND best quality of service there is. I called the dealership before this place and HB Auto & ACs quote was roughly 35% less than what the dealership offered. Dallas and crew communicated every detail they found on my car and informed me of all the process step by step and in a day-to-day basis. I have little to no knowledge about cars, yet they were able to explain the problem and the steps they took to solve my solution that was very easy to understand even for my level. Not a single lingering question was left during these updates. Amazing communications from the crew, taught me some stuff too. Not surprising since Dallas is a seasoned veteran regarding technical expertise with great hospitality, Ive never felt so safe giving my car to an establishment.

The car service and customer service were beyond expectations! So nice and polite from the minute I got there. I am a travel nurse and needed to bring my car in for maintenance check and oil change and they were super helpful and will definitely bring my car back and would recommend. My vehicle had a major emergency last month and the original mechanic I would go to was out on vacation for that week. Googled the next Audi mechanic and came across HB Auto & AC, called them and took in my car in that same day. They are professional and honest. Honesty is a plus in my books! Called on Friday for pricing and the woman who answered the phone was very nice but said she could not help me because she was new. She connected me with another gentleman who she said could help me out. He said he could not give me a price over the phone because he wasn t sure what repair my car required to service it. This says it is an AC place and I just wanted to know what it cost to charge my AC and they both couldn t give me a price. Over five minutes on the phone, no price. Wow. Guess that s why I don t leave gustafasons.

100% would not recommend this business anymore. Highly unprofessional customer service (just look at their responses to the poor reviews on here, yelp, etc). I trusted this business, spending a couple thousand dollars here, but management has changed (at least the front desk). Vince created a highly hostile in-person environment for old customers who have spent our good money here - I will never recommend them again. This business is highly untrustworthy, petty, and aggressive, especially the individuals in charge. I only write this review to make others aware that if someone in charge can lie so extensively, I would never trust them with being honest about my car - also, they consistently use the excuse that the person in charge got fired from their shop because they deserve to be in prison (how many people do they hire that suddenly deserve to be in prison?). Good luck, be cautious and aware around this business.

I had a terrible experience with Vince today at HB Auto and AC. His customer service treatment was absolutely horrible. I have been a customer for years and even given referrals to HB Auto and AC who have spent thousands of dollars with them but after my interaction with Vince today - myself, my referrals and any future talk of HB Auto and AC will be to DEFINITELY STAY AWAY and find another auto shop. I scheduled an oil change for last Friday 7/15/22 at 10am and when I showed up on time for the appointment Vince told me they were too busy to honor the appointment so I said no problem and I later called to reschedule my oil change appointment for the following Friday 7/22/22 at 10am. When I showed up at 10am for my rescheduled oil change appointment I was told that I couldn t be seen AGAIN and that Vince wouldn t honor the rescheduled appointment because they had other customers to take care of that were paying more money so they couldn t be bothered with my insignificant oil change even though they ve wasted plenty of my time at this point. Vince then combatively argued and lied to me saying that I never even had an appointment at 10am in the first place as if I was making it up. Needless to say, I will never go back to HB Auto and AC and if anyone mentions them I will encourage to DEFINITELY STAY AWAY unless you want a horrible customer experience.

My husband had called around and this place was the only one out of five places that explained and gave accurate information of what they may need to do to the Honda (obviously needing to check it out first). Within a couple hours the mechanic called and explained what was needed and was so helpful to get all the work done there since the Honda needed tires. The work on the AC repairs and tires got done as soon as possible and was communicate abiut everything from beginning to wnd. You need a great place for your car repairs and maintenance take it here.

1st visit, Great experience! They were very helpful, explained everything in detail. There was a misunderstanding in the price for the oil change and when I returned to pick up my car, they said they were doing it for no charge. Definitely didnt have to do that. Very good customer service in my opinion.

They were thorough and found a leak in my head gasket on my 2004 4Runner Limited at 225,000 miles and did a great job on the repair. I had to wait an extra three days, but I received great service from Vince and the repair team. Thank you!

They performed a AC recharge was done Kn a very Timely and professional manner. Their cost was much lower than the dealer. They even washed my car for me. I would highly recommend them.

Ford e450 motorhome with the v10 motor had a misfire. HB auto did a complete diagnostic on it and replaced plugs and coils, they are very professional with communication and did a fantastic job very quickly. Yes I would recommend them for any and all repairs. Thanks Vince.

My wonderful mechanic s always make me feel so welcomed, they really care. No pressure, friendly, kind, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Omar was amazing he handle my situation and it was like we knew each other from years back. I knew a little about cars and that was cool. They gave me a loaner car hassle free no charge. This is what I call exceptional service because they care about my family making sure my vehicle is safe. They did my shocks and oil change. My GMC Yukon XL is 18 years old so I can t complain. God is good and his direction to HB Auto was spot on. I have been coming here since i believe 2019. What a blessing! Everyone I came in contact with was wonderful.

Vince was an amazing help and bought replacement parts out of pocket for my 95 jeep I didn t even know I needed to get fixed. He assured me everything would be good on set day, when set day came, everything ran smooth like butter, even better than expected. Very pleased. Car is not done yet but they seem to be reasonable in price, excellent in communication, very patient, and really caring about fixing my car right. They appear to be very honest in helping and not taking advantage of customers. I also like how they gave me options to decide and ask for my permission before starting. Overall great experience so far. Can t wait to pick up my car. Been speaking to Vince and Chris and I am very impressed so far.

My 2012 Ford 6.7 diesel had a check engine light. The dealer would not give me a appointment or give me a general time frame to do diagnostic and repair. Just drop it off will call you when we get to it. I found H B Auto they told me to bring in in Friday called Tuesday told me what they found and when it would be fixed. I told them to do the repair. I fully expect to pick up my truck before the following weekend as Vince stated.

CANCELS APPOINTMENTS - DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC if you make an appointment a WEEK in advance this place does not honor said appointment and is known to even cancel appointments 10 minutes beforehand. EXTREMELY unprofessional and should be illegal in my opinion. they told us they had too many cars - learn how to run your business and schedule appointments like a decent person.

Theyre understaffed at the moment which caused a bit of a communication delay but ultimately I got my A/C fixed for a good price, plus an inspection that led to me replacing a leaky battery. Would definitely go here for AC repair again, possibly other repairs.

Great experience! We had an appointment scheduled but once we arrived, it wasn t in the system. These amazing people didn t hesitate to go ahead and book us that same day with the same time! Very fast service and Lisa at the front desk is amazing! She helped relay what was wrong with our vehicle and made sure we were taken care of! Will be returning for any future repairs!

This is the 3rd time I have taken my car to HB Auto & AC to have work done on my A/C system. Ive been very pleased with all the work they have done. The management is polite and cares about their customers. Most recently I dealt with Lisa, who manages the business, and I have to say, I am impressed with her attention to detail, making sure that I was satisfied customer. After going to Berge Mazda and getting quoted $900 for my 2016 Miata AC repair, I knew it was time to start looking elsewhere. I came across HB Auto and AC online, and decided to give them a shot. I delivered my car and went out of town for the weekend where they worked on it from Thursday-Monday. That Friday afternoon after the inspection they found a severe leak in one of the two ac valves. (Berge Mazda said both were leaking.) They also recommended to replace my rear breaks pads as they were well past the recommended safety standard limit. All in all I came back to pickup my car Monday morning and walked out the door with my AC blowing cold air, new brake pads, tires rotated, and a new filter for $880! I thank you HB Auto for being professional in both your work and your pricing. I will definitely return when I need more repairs done.

I had a buildup of mold in my car s AC, they were able to remove the smell and I m happy to have the AC working good as new! Jesse and Lisa were very courteous and professional. The other workers whose names I don t remember we re also very friendly. I highly recommend these guys, they got the job done and provided excellent customer service. Everyone was very professional and made sure to keep me informed of the process they were going through on the car to fix the problem. Kevin at the front desk is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and in my opinion customer service is unmatched. I m so Glad I took my car here. My family and I recently moved to the area and I wasn t sure where to take my truck to have ac checked, master cylinder looked at and an oil change. After looking around I noticed they had hundreds of 5 star reviews. Kevin and Lisa got me in the day I took it, kept me updated on what they suggested be done along with an itemized quote. These guys are legit. After BMW quoted my car needing a thousand dollars in maintenance I decided to get a second opinion. I did not end up having service completed there today because Kevin took a look and informed me that it wasnt quite time yet. He also gave me information to someone for a secondary car (cosmetic) problem I was having. I was impressed he took the time to give it a quick glance and answer my questions without telling me he needed to do some unneeded service. I will be going back once service is actually required as I was super impressed!!

Team is very professional and they offer a digital diagnostic which is very comprehensive. They are quite expensive, so we didn t have the repair done there. However, they offer a better warranty (3 year/100k miles)

Took F250 in for A/C, not blowing as cold on hot days. Evacuated system added very little, found no leaks. Worked perfectly past week on 1200 mile trip up to Reno area and back and it was hot on US 395. Happy with results. Gave me free loaner car to keep truck overnight for evaluation. Highly recommended shop!
