HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE… The employees make everyone feel like peasants and they don’t belong in there paying for their overpriced items in the first place. Was told by Steve, the Owner (Bald white guy) to “Take my business elsewhere “ because I didn’t like the prices which I gladly did! MAJESTIC JEWELRS for the win! Steve will now lose several returning customers and tens of thousands of dollars because of they’re untrained employees who don’t know how to make sales or greet people at all! I've never gone to a pawn shop in my life, so I was very impressed that a good friend of mine's brother, who is at a big pawn shop in Sacramento, told me Fresno Coin was the only way to go.

Everyone was friendly and the line was fast. Jerica was the one who helped me and explained how much things were worth, and why some things I gave her weren't worth anything (costume jewelry). I got paid double what I thought I was gonna get and I looked at her in shock. I thought I was on Punk'd or something! For a first-time pawn shop person who can be naive, I felt respected by Jerica and she was patient. Many laughs were had after my reaction to my cash payout (her boss was like dang y'all laughing a lot!) LOL I recommend Fresno Coin and if you can, go see Jerica, especially if it's your first time getting ya pawn on! I had a blast! (I also paid a big bill with that money! Thank you Fresno Coin!)

The first person we dealt with was nice. The second time we came this lady was rude. I think she was the person in charge. She tried to play us cause we wanted to sell after going around. She seen that we really wanted to sell. She said the first offer was a mistake and gave us a lower price. Decided to come back a week later to avoid her. She wasnt even working a window. She saw me in line. all of a sudden, she opened and called me up. Didnt even look at my item, just gave me same offer. Lol I guess her ego was hurt cause she couldnt get the buy. I just left across the street and got a better deal. So be wary, the lady will try to rip you off if you seem desperate or easy to sell.

Condescending watch expert with scar on left pointer finger today mentioned to me and maybe others idk, should be a sign that says, we only buy and sell 1000 dollar watches and I also had to tell him to fix the date on my watch(which he messed with)I was trying to sell to him. This place will try to rip you off if you let them. I would not spend a nickel with these guys. Many of these businesses that buy and sell precious metals will try to take advantage of customers. They have to rip some people off to make profit.

The couple of times I ve been in here I ve always been helped by the really uptight workers who have a snooty attitude. And I m sad to hear that one of them is a manager or manager assistant. Someone with a better attitude should claim back their position as management and let go the ones that don t.. when I went in there to talk to, I believe his name is John about my high karat gold pieces, there was a so-called female manager, just eavesdropping on everything and looking at everything and also didn t hesitate to give me a dirty look at the same time when that person wasn t even invited to my negotiations about the service I needed done and inquiries.. please look into who you have as management carefully. Because I will never go back (unless I m with my mom). This woman too complained about my mother (an ongoing customer who s bought a lot from here) saying she is rude and has an attitude, when reallly I know it to be the other way around.. and how are you working There fighting with a customer anyway? Keep your attitude in the streets not at your job.

What an AMAZING experience! When you clean out your parents home after they pass there are so many things you don t know what to do with. First time there, what a gem! So thankful for the staff, including Stephanie and Drew who took so much time with us as we brought in boxes of items from my parents and grandparents that werent being used anymore. They treated us so well, were so knowledgeable about the value of pieces, offered great prices to us for jewelry and coins, and referred us to other places for other antique items. In addition to the ability to sell unneeded items there, I was surprised at the selection of jewelry offered there onsite - they have fantastic pieces at good prices. When they didnt have quite the jewelry piece I was looking for, they offered to have their onsite jewelers design a custom piece and worked with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. They even cleaned my rings for me while I was there. We felt safe and secure with several security guards keeping watch over the shop and over us as we brought items in and out of the store.

Do not sell your gold here. They are vague about how much they take but they take over 25% of the value. Just sell on eBay and and they actually only take 15% like they say. I guess Ill take their advice and take my business elsewhere if I dont like it. If not ebay, other local places offer a little bit more. Call elsewhere before going here. Edit. I know how spot prices and karat weight works, I do this for a living. I know how much my gold is worth before entering your store. YOUR manager told me it was around 25% fees on your end which it was closer to 30% , it was usually around 15% in the past. I simply wanted to know why he told me one number but the math proved another. And yes other stores and ebay all prove more lucrative.

Honest company with outstanding principles. Recently, I lost a piece of precious jewelry in a parking lot. It was not turned into security or the police department, which I doubted it would. After filing a police report, i called several local pawn shops and left my report and information. Almost a week later, i received a call from Fresno Coin Gallery informing me they had my jewelry. Aside from the cost of the jewelry itself, i was heartbroken over the special significance of my jewelry. I thought i would never see it again. My eyes filled with tears as they handed me my jewelry. I m 24 and I took my grandmothers platinum Vintage diamond ring that I had appraised I paid $75 to have it appraised by Rocco s jewelers. It was appraised for $5500. They offered me 300 bucks. And I had a vintage Chanel bracelet worth $2500 appraised by the same company they offered me $175 for and if I go next-door into their show room I can see my like items listed for their full value or more they are scammer looking to screw over unsuspecting people stuck between a rock and a hard spot pressed to com up with money than they go and sell it for its original cost seams outrageous to me and google makes you add a star just to leave a review

If I could rate negative stars I would. Every single time I go into this place some young punk, know it all, Ive been doing this for 6 years and can tell me my diamond isnt a diamond without using a jewelers loop or a diamond tester insults my intelligence. Sad thing is management condones this behavior. I still have a couple of loans that I pay the interest on. If I can ever pay these loans off I will never, ever step foot in this business ever again! UPDATE!! Got fed up right after I wrote this review and finally went in there and paid off my loans in full. As God as my witness I will never step foot back into this business as long as I live. This was my 4th visit to Fresno Coin & Pawn & while I can honestly say everyone who works there that I have interacrwd with (save maybe the security guy posted at the door), has been a pleasure to do business with, I just really enoyed & appreciated dealing with DREW for the 1st time today. He was sooooo patient with me & really stayed tuned in & present the entire (hour +++) visit.r He was AMAZING...listened to what I was there for & spent time helping me untangle chains & pendants for me when I couldnt do it myself because he listened & understood how important it was to me to pawn my items & pay my bills. Great local company. Drew helped me with my items and his patience going thru all the things I had from my mom and sorting good from costume. I feel he gave a reasonable amount for it and I ve been back 3 times! He s also full of a wealth of trivia and knowledge of various things. Extremely nice guy! I went in to coin gallery on Blackstone to take in a 3 carat diamond. They said they had to test it, when the girl came back with it she informed me they werent in the market to buy diamonds at this time. If that was the case why take and test my diamond, she couldnt look at me in the eye and kept looking everywhere but at me. I had a bad feeling they switched me diamonds. My gut is never wrong the diamond was cloudy that I got back and mine wasnt like that. Ill never go there again and karma will come for you sooner than later.

I went to a pawn shop to try and sell my wedding bands, and I was offered a ridiculously low amount for them. I went to Fresno Coin Gallery and they offered a much more fair price. I was very happy with the amount and service I was provided with. I will definitely return!

Really rude staff only Guards seem to be nice and happy theres no patience to explain spot price and details I asked if they had more centenarios Mex Gold in Inventory they said they had more but I was obligated to buy the one on display that looked off natural color and discolored very por customer service definitely not there priority to put customers first! I can not say enough about this other than The Gallery, The Staff, their Families are a Class Act and 5 Star doesnt do them justice. My Vehicle was rummaged thru, Family heirlooms stolen to no fault of anyone but it was do to a fault lock on my back hatch from an Auto Accident that Ive been battling. This Gallery jped into action to help me, copied a video to assist me in my case, drove around because the video did show 2 persons and 1 was know to the shop as a local transient. Dorrie was nothing but amazing and patient when going thru and dealing with the heirlooms I brought in. George was so knowledgeable as well and you felt so comfortable with these professional, loving & caring friends I would call them now.

So I had 2 lira gold 22k gold coins this place offered me 500 for both lira are a set price they do not decrees in value These mf told me that it looks like it was put in a jewelry and we re going to buy as jewelry witch Btw there beautiful condition years 1327 and 1292 I begin to tell her that that s what Arabs do they put liras necklaces but they take em out on and off And I showed her the sale prices and any Middle Eastern country Even if you look it up in America they actually sell them way more than they do in Arab countries Literally called the store right after them called gold connections on Herndon I know I m not gonna get exact price because it s not an Arab country but he was not playing me or try and do me like these guys were stay away from Fresno Coin Gallery Jewelry Loan hustlwra and scam artist

I am only rating based on the customer service. These ladies are so unorganized when it comes to questions. All I wanted was to know how much a resize on a ring would cost, a ring I bought from your store 2 days ago, and they act like the question is trigonometry. Can I get a ring size changed? Waited 10 minutes for an answer. Mind you, I there was only 2 customers in the store, me and someone else. The question only required a yes or no answer.

Horrible store. I went in a year and a half ago spent more than 1.3K in coins they assured me had numismatic value and would serve as a good hedge against inflation. I then go in earlier this week only to be offered less than 35% of what I spent. I bought a Carson city Morgan in a GSA plus case and paperwork for $250 it still had the barcode they used to sell it and they offered me $160... this is the reason I will never buy gold or silver coins again. The hobby is dying off because of shops like this that when times get hard they low ball people in need. I only bought from this place and they told me they buy based off of eBay lowest sold price... this is how you treat loyal customers? Since then I sold my coins on eBay for far more than they offered. I now only invest in bitcoin and have recovered my losses. Never again. Keep in mind spot price was with the purchase price a year ago within cents of current spot price and they still offered less than 35%. What really got me was they offered me $160 for my GSA cc Morgan but showcased one for sale for over $600 same year same grade.... I couldn t believe they 1 lied to me about retaining value and 2 lowballed me so bad so as to maximize profit for them. During the pandemic when people need the money this is absolutely unacceptable. Here s a picture of what they quoted me for the coins I only purchased from them.

Only fair place to buy and sell gold/silver in Fresno that Im aware of. Someone below called them low ballers. They pay spot. Nothing low ball about that. Find anywhere in Fresno that does that including eBay. I dont work for them.

Took 4 Louie Vuitton items in to be looked at (ALL AUTHENTIC), I knew going in I wasnt going to get dollar for dollar what I paid for but when they took my items back to be looked at, researched and priced then came and told me what they would give me, it was laughable only because I know they would send them to their sister company Scepter and Sash and sell for double or even triple what they wanted togive me. I took my items and left. Ill gladly sell on my own for MY price.

I had started taking one of my rings here to get it cleaned probably beginning of this year and have come back since. I trust this place. My grandmother told me she took her mothers ring to a jewelry store in Madera ( I wont mention which one ) for a stone replacement and they were going to charge her $300, I had to bring her to Fresno Coin Gallery. Sure enough, they let us know that her ring was not repairable. ( too much to mention ) Cheryl brought over another girl to explain this to my grandmother in Spanish, which I appreciated. We ended up finding a replacement ring for her and another Coach purse for me :). The purses are great! The jewelry is on point, my watches have been fixed there too.
