Walked in with a very expensive shotgun, was treated like absolute trash by some kid with a red beard and cheap “gold” chain . . Didn’t even take the time to go on gun broker and see what he was dealing with ,before opening his mouth. . Told me right off the bat not to waste his time before I even had a chance to speak.. DO NOT GO HERE THESE GUYS ARE VERY DISRESPECTFUL!

I kindly asked about the authenticity of a watch listed on eBay, for days I had no answer.
Finally a guy answered me saying that they could have it certified by the shop next to theirs, adding the fee, and for me was OK.
The manager intervened saying that it was possible to have it certified, but then in the end he changed his mind and invented a concern about the size of my wrist (without wanting to give me the size of the watch) and they decided not to sell it to me so as not to do international shipping (allowed by eBay instead).
Really very unprofessional.
All the five-star reviews, left by users with very few reviews, are suspicious.

I got a title loan a couple of days ago at North Scottsdale Loan/Phoenix Title Loans. Colby and Shawn were amazing to work with and made, what could of been an unpleasant experience, really comfortable and actually enjoyable. I purchased a rifle here today that I found advertised online. Shawn was my sales associate. Shawn showed me the rifle, presented ammunition / accessories, and helped me look at other comparable firearms. I ended up purchasing the original rifle for a very reasonable price, a box of ammo, and several accessories. Shawn was consistently helpful and professional. By far one of the best pawn shops in the valley. This place is kind of a hidden gem, must of driven by the place a hundred times and never really noticed it was there. Finally a pawnshop where u don t have to dig or search through piles of junk to find the quality, desirable items. The employees know way more then the average grumpy pawnbroker, and are more than willing to go outta their way to make sure you re happy. Ivan s one of the most enjoyable guys you could really ever hope to deal with, knows his stuff and keeps it fair, but biggest thing to me is that he shoots straight (doesn t waste your time). Best place I ve been to yet in the valley, 5 stars for-sure.

So I stopped in here yesterday to get a title loan and Ive done title loans at other companies in AZ and I have to say that this was the best experience Ive ever had and the interest rate was so much lower than other shops Ive looked into, just for that alone you should look no further but if are still not convinced the staff is very polite and Julie was great! They really help to insure you are good with every aspect of the loan before you leave. I will continue doing business with the company.

Heres my experience: Went in for a collateral loan. Julie took a look at my item and gave a quote. The amount offered wasnt quite where I needed it to be. Julie suggested another place to consider. Before leaving I asked how long the quote would be honored. I was told until Monday of the following week. We went to the other place recommended, it was closed so we returned (less than 30mins) ready to proceed with a loan. DURING the loan process (I had already SIGNED some of the paperwork), Julie retracted her offer and lowered the amount significantly without any real reason. Very unprofessional and just strange. Im still confused. It took me a car ride home to process what happened. Julie was sure to ask every customer in the shop for a review. She even asked us before we left to get another quote. I thought highly of her for caring to give us the name of another business but Im extremely disappointed in her not keeping her word. Side note: A coworker recommended this place after a friend of hers had a good experience. Julie asked for my recommendations first and last name. Which I thought was odd. My coworker wasnt even the one who did the transaction but I provided the information anyway. We eventually did find a place that gave us a fair offer AND honored the quote after we stepped away for 20mins to discuss AND completed paperwork all the way through. After we told the person what happened to us with North Scottsdale Loan and Gold and out of pity, they gave us gift cards on behalf of that horrible experience. lol Steer clear of this place. Not going to waste my time at home I help you not waste yours. First off regardless of where they sell certain brands should not matter if you havethe receipt. The young lady kept saying they sell Michael Kors at Ross now. Excuse me?? She offer me $20 for a pair of Ray Bans that cost$478.00 and $20 for a $400 Tory Burch watch thats soldout every where and on demand. She found a fake similar style online for $35.00 and then offered me$20. If anyone has ever purchased anything from Tory Burch you would know you cant even get s key chain for that. Honestly, no offense but they should really consider hiring a person with knowledge on the retail market. Not someone who shops at ross and watch station. Then she told me she just got a bag from WATCH Station for $50??? They dont sell bags at WATCH station. Honestly dont waste your time. Staff needs improvement. I understand low balling people but pooit right ignorance is just a waste of every ones time seriously.

I would not recommend this place to anyone for pawning their items; maybe for purchasing something but I haven t purchased anything to be able to give an adequate review on that. But based on my experience pawning my items; I do have to admit that I am not a good haggler I was given Only 50 dollars for a brand new 800 dollar Louie Vuitton wallet and 250 for a 1000 dollar laptop MacBook Air brand new as well then had to pay 350 to get the MacBook out 1 week later and 100 for the wallet again 1 week later; I guess it served the purpose that I needed it to; however I thought the interest seemed a little steep but maybe this is normal for pawn shops I don t have too much experience pawning things; and the staff seemed to be a little snooty to me but maybe this was my own insecurities but I didn t feel a very welcoming vibe in there. The other reason I gave this place a 1 star review is just based on the fact that one of the staff told my girlfriend that her wedding ring that she had been mailing payments from out of state to try and save was still there and she needed to send 25 dollars to extend it so it didn t go into default and get sold. And in fact when she and her husband came back into town to obtain their ring they informed them that the ring had been sold and when she explained that she sent in the 25 dollars and she was informed otherwise by a staff member there; they brushed it off saying at the time she spoke with the staff member she was already a week past default so none of it matters anyway. Her and her husband feel stuck between and rick and a hard place because they have no proof of the conversation and are just bewildered at the fact they were Bla intently lied to about something as important as a wedding ring; they had an unexpected expense come up in which case they had to pawn the ring against their will and had worked hard to maintain their payments so they didn t default and it was all for nothing!

Josh helped me. he was very nice. A little too cheery for me but he gave me more than i expected. He finshed up with me in about five mins after i told him i had to be at work. the place smelled good and was really clean compared to most pawnshops i have been to. I have not been to many but ill deff come back to this one if i need to again..thanks guys

Not sure why other reviews are so poor... My experience was great.. Jeff was very friendly and helpful. Although not able to pawn all the items I had brought in he explained why without being rude or condescending like shops Ive been to before..He really helped me out of tight spot and I would absolutely recommend. Awesome prices on merchandise for sale too.

Sorry but I wont be back EVER! They sold and shipped me a counterfeit Breitling Watch. I bought it from the owner Alfonso. I received the watch and immediately i looked at it and new it was counterfeit, i called them and Jeff asked me to return it and they would reimburse me for shipping as well as the cost of the watch. They did refund the watch however I have been chasing them for weeks now for $44.00. This is crazy, they send me a fake watch and ask me to ship it back with insurance and promise the reimbursement and now I cant even get them to do that. What an awful, awful experience. DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM NORTH SCOTTSDALE LOAN & GOLD ITS MOST LIKELY COUNTERFEIT. HOW CAN A PAWN SHOP THAT DEALS IN HIGH END JEWELERY NOT KNOW WHATS FAKE OR REAL?

This guy offered me 150 for a used xbox one that I had only owned for 3 months. I took it to gamestop and they offered me 250 and told me that this guy is an idiot and I 100% agree. He said he would offer me 45% of what it was being sold for online, as well as that he would offer me 10 per game and 25 for a newer tablet. If you want to get ripped off, go here. If not, find somewhere else with a nicer worker and who will offer a little more cash than this fool.

It was my first visit with Kevin and this establishment. I dont know what I expected, but I was delighted to meet a person that had great personal skills and welcomed my wife and me with a sincere desire to answer our needs. This was not a visit to the traditional pawn shop, this was a visit with a genuine business establishment with high standards of customer service.
