Trading Academy Scotsdale

I was first introduced to the Academy back in June of 2023. My father has been a stock/options trader since 1999 and he mentioned that he would really wanted to take a look at the program to see if I might be interested. For whatever reason, I wasn’t. To add to my skepticism, my father and I went to the Chandler building, only to find out that it was shut down over there and no longer operational. We decided to call and Tarina Warby answered the phone. She was so nice and eagerly recommended we come by to check out the Scottsdale facility. And to say that I was blown away is an understatement. Very clean, very professional. Everything that new trader would be looking for when it comes to support. Long story short I myself have been a member of the academy since October of 2023 and it has completely changed my life. I would not be where I am today in my trading if it wasn’t for Aaron and Tarina Warby and the educators, in person and online. If anyone were ever to ask me where they should go to learn how to trade, my forever answer will be the (Online) Trading Academy. It’s all worth it.

The people at Online Trading Academy focus on training their students, and they do that exactly as they claim. After your course, OTA tutors will give you all the extra help you need.
The OTA sales pitch is essentially ”all you need to do is simply follow our trading method and you will become a successful trader. So successful, in fact, that you can fire your portfolio manager.”
This is a misrepresentation. Of the scores of students, I met only two who earned enough big money in trading that they could have fired their fund manager.
The OTA method is very technical, so you’ll need an analytical mind to grasp their concepts.
OTA teaches students to acquire skills to put the probability of odds in your favor. Based on my experience, if you hang your hopes on OTA training that you can fire your money manager and be a successful big money trader, just know that the odds are against you.

I took the STRATEGIC INVESTOR CLASS PART 1 and 2 a 40 hour class at Online Trading Academy's Peoria AZ location. The Instructor was very knowable and an outstanding teacher. He was very patience with the students and went over each process until we fully understood. I have found the instructors to really care about the success of their students. I believe I will be able to apply my learnings from this class and receive a return on my investment for the training in short order. OTA Phoenix has been great for me and my brother so far. In class and out of class they been helpful through out every step of the way. I took the core class so far and will be starting Future's class and options soon. Once you understand the value they bring to the table with their trading system, ongoing student support, and experience teachers, then the price for this education will be worth every penny. All student support and staff are very helpful in making sure you are a successful trader. The reviews they have online truly are very accurate on what they provide to their students. My experience with OTA has been great! The staff is highly knowledgeable in their field and very supportive. I really liked the fact that you can learn hands on as you go through the class. They make you believe it is real easy to make money, but the more you get into they start adding things that end up making it more confusing. I do not regret taking the course because I did learn a lot of good information, but i would also be wary and not get sold in by the sales pitch

I attended the strategic investor course at the Preoria centre from the 8th - 12th of February. The lecturer was Derek Zelek and he handled the topics with practiced ease and controlled expertise. His knowledge of the topics was superb and he was able to come down to my (novice) level, which enabled me to grasp all I needed to know. I opened my first options contract on the 11th of February and doing very good already. OTA is awesome!!!

I just finished the CORE class by Chris Manson, what a instructor!! Chris s style has a lot of personal mistakes that he delivers with humor that makes the impact he wants, and the humor makes you relate and understand why he wants you to NOT make the same mistakes. Just finished the Futures trading course at OTA Scottsdale. Fantastic course, with fantastic instructors. Our instructor Jerry Baldwin made the class fun and interactive and made sure everyone gained the skills to start real trading in the futures market. The assistants Nigel and AJ were always there to answer questions. Amazing to see the set ups come together as the markets open in real time. Hands down the best way for new traders to start trading. High recommend this course for new traders wanting to gain the skills for consistency of income in the futures market. Lunch included too :)

I have been interested in the stock market for many years. In my senior year of high school I along with my other classmates were introduced to the stock market and how it worked, at least to the level of the teacher. It has always held a fascination for me. I could see the potential to make money. I just didnt understand or know how. OTA lifts the vale and exposes the man behind the curtain and they go one step further they teach you how to make the stock market work for YOU. I am in the middle of a futures class at this time and the instructor has made to subject easy to understand and work. OTAs staff has been nothing but supportive and completely giving of their knowledge and time. OTAs curriculum and methodology for teaching this subject matter in my opinion is second to none. Other online school would be money and time ahead if they emulated OTAs teaching model. Bravo OTA and thank you.

The instruction that I received at the Online Trading Academy has given me the opportunity to change the rest of my life. The material that I have learned and the knowledge that was shared with me from the instructors, student support, and all of the great people at the academy have set me up with the background that I need to go forward and help me to assure my familys financial future. Just completed the Core Strategy course and have only good things to say. The course is well constructed, not easy, but well done. The instructor, Tom Joyce, kept us interested and presented the material well. The support staff members in the classroom and administrative outside the classroom were all helpful and accessible and knowledgeable. I am anxious to apply the strategies in my trading activity.

Ota scottsdale is amazing! The team and support system is great and they have so much knowledgeable information that I never knew before coming here in regards to trading. I went to the core strategy course in January 2019 with Thomas Joyce and I learned so much that I feel it was priceless information from someone who has been in the industry for 30+ years. Joining OTA was the greatest decision ever. I just finished Core Strategy, which I was so nervous for. After completing it, all of my expectations have been blown out of the water. The instructor Kelly, created such an incredible learning atmosphere and had us trading so quickly. He not only made learning fun, but he motivated us all to work hard and believe in ourselves. The student support at the Scottsdale center was also amazing. Nigel and AJ were so helpful and made themselves available to all the students whenever they needed help. I was initially so intimidated starting Core Strategy, but now I feel so confident and excited to continue my journey with OTA.

The class , schedule, and academics were all above average. The support personnel were helpful beyond what was called for. They were very\ personalized and courteous. The Futures class at the Chandler location has been fantastic! OTA is legit! If you are not lazy, you will be successful as a trader. It may be a bit costly to learn, but it is really worth it and it will have a quick pay-back.

Online Trading Academy is the premiere worldwide trading education company that provides professional training for trading all asset classes. I have now progressed through most classes finding my preferred trading in options and futures. OTA has proven to absolutely support every student to their full potential. Their program includes extended online trading courses taught during live markets. Their instructors are highly experienced pros and together they have formed a trading strategy and intelligent trade identification system to provide students the best tools to learn and successfully trade for consistent profits. I have used many other online training companies and none of them come close to truly providing a life long successful trading education but OTA does. They have expanded with now two training sites in Phoenix with the best computer classroom facilities. I recommend this company at the highest level for anyone wanting to learn how to trade or manage their nest egg.

OTA Chandler AZ - All staff and instructors are awesome. We learn a lot in trading and lunch foods are excellent. Instructor Jordan Matthew is-excellent. He covers beyond the scope of work and everyday he is full of energy. Nigel our tech support helps us a lot, from turning on the computers to placing trades.

Online Trading Academy gives students the opportunity to learn how to trade like a professional, in whatever style each individual learns. While some people, like myself, are visual and hands-on learners, and others are better at reading and applying, OTA gives students all of these options and are continually giving students more ways to optimize learning. I highly recommend OTA to anyone looking to become a professional trader. I feel that since taking the Core Strategy Class, I now have a real world understanding of how to create a set up for a trade, with a possible range of Entry and Exit. I had gone through most of the Core Strategy On Demand Curricula prior to taking the class, and everything was solidified and cleared up in the classroom. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn from a real live person that can sit down with me and help me as I apply the steps outlined in a classroom. It made me feel like I can actually do this. I absolutely love how everything is broken down to an almost elementary level and that nothing is assumed to be known. This way, a student is always on the same page as the instructor and does not necessarily have to do any additional research outside of this resource for this purpose.

First off, Let me say I have 20years of experience of investing in the stock market. 80% of it in the buy and hold category and 20% of my experince in the Day trading. MY EXPERIENCE is that while BOTH are risky, the day trading is the MOST risky. I mean look realisticly at both methods. The buy and hold roughly makes 3-6% PROFIT per year until it doesnt. No risk there in making 5% interest per year is there?BUT! Then the market crashes as it did in 2008. And then you lose roughly 60%-70% of your portfolio.and have to wait another 10 years to get it back, IF it ever does. So THERES the risk. Now lets look at Day trading. If your lucky , you may pay for software to TELL YOU when to buy and when to hold and when to sell a particular stock based on past algorerythems...Downfall is Software IS expensive and only has a 55% success rate in being right..NEVER is it 100%.Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, no matter the pricetag...One year I even disconnected the software and made trades on my own and did even worse. So IF you want to minimize risk, DO use the software and dont go at it on your own. The profits?..They could range from -20-100%. The losses HAPPEN when you make a series of Bad trades that lose money TIME AFTER TIME..Which CAN happen.. One time I had a THREE month P&L result of -35% of my total portfolio!!..Can that be made up in a hurry with some successful trades?..absolutely. But even the best advisors will tell you that if youve lost 35% of your portfolio in a couple months its best to recoup it SLOWLY and NOT fast in a BEAR market..So there IS risk in Day trading . Dont let anyone tell you they make 10% profit from their portfolio week after week , after week, after week, after week , etc, etc, There are some rough patches in there and they are rough..

Online Trading Academy has opened another brand new learning center in Chandler, Arizona. A first class facility located right off the 202 loop. This will give the current as well as new students the opportunity to have easy access to learn in comfort close to home. Last year i retired from a federal career, and invested my TSP with a local money management firm. I was confident that my money would be safe and would grow, but a few months ago i saw that i was losing almost $1000 a month. What i have learned at OTA has given me enough of an education to go head to head with that firm .... get my money back ... and make it really grow. Thanks to all the staff and instructors, Ron always there to help and answer any questions ... Joel getting the right classes set up to go in the right direction .... My experience at OTA Phoenix has been nothing less than life-changing since the first time I stepped into their facility on Hayden Road. I have taken 3 courses with them and am currently taking my 4th covering the most exciting asset class of all - Trading Futures. I just a few days I have gone from knowing very little about how to trade Futures, to being confident to pull-the-trigger on Futures trades with confidence. At the center of it all, this week, is Jerry Baldwin, our amazing instructor, flown in from Chicago. Jerry has patiently guided the entire class through the basic mechanics as well as some extremely powerful strategies, focused on identifying and executing low risk, high probability trades. I had some pretty high hopes coming into the class, based on all my prior experiences with OTA, and Jerry has far surpassed all of my expectations with regard to clearly and professionally presenting the course material, platform techniques, and amazing strategies. He is always ready to answer any question, and you can tell he really enjoys watching the light turn on when the students eyes light up because they get it . If you want to learn cutting edge strategies from the pros like Jerry Baldwin, Futures instructor from Chicago, Online Trading Academy is the place. Jerry taught us a strategy in one day which was worth the price of the entire course. You wont find more knowledgeable, caring or helpful staff than those at Online Trading Academy. And if you arent successful, its your own darned fault! The resources, class materials, online training and seminars are second to none. If for some reason you dont become a successful and profitable trader, then its your own darned fault! At the very least, you will have found a new family.

I really enjoy the classes - they are very challenging, which I love. Jerry Baldwin has done an excellent job of sharing his knowledge. We would definitely take more classes from him. Each day we have the opportunity to practice what we learn during live trading sessions - you receive near immediate feedback as to whether you made good or bad decisions in analyzing the charts. The current Futures class is full of students really focused on learning trading rules and helping each other so we can all succeed - a Win Win for all involved. The only downside is that we are shown tools to utilize but they are not available in the classroom for hands on usage. More than a little frustrating...

By chance I tuned into a Sunday edition of the Online Trading Academy on KTAR radio. They plugged a free training class ($499 value) plus a free Kindle to attend to the next few callers. The class was plugged as a training class and ended up being a history class on what the market has done in the past. The entire 4 hours was spent plugging their 3 day training class at a cost of $299. If you are interested, save the 4 hours of hype and just go take the classes. Because in the end they did not even mention the Kindle. Not sure if there is any substance to the classes, but the radio show is one big plug to get you to the free class, that class is one big plug to get you to buy into their 3 day class. I can only imagine what comes after that.

I was having issues with using the oanda format and computer. I made an appointment with Ron Lembo who took the time to go over the format and had helpful ideas towards giving me confidence in using both the format and computer. overall everyone from support to instructors at the academy has been very helpful in wanting me to succeed.
