Huge sign say under new management finally went back. First didn't get any type of customer service 1/10/24 @3:08 pm went in to buy and sell something and the guy there is not busy just gossiping to another customer waited for 10 mins and walk away and the worker finally ask you need help as I'm walking away. This pawnshop is a scam any item you bring to pawn they will try to lowball u and only offer 10$ for the pricing I pulled up the prices of the used item I had and they tried to argue with me and tell me it was not the same exact item I had they try to get over on people and their very rude if ur not trying to purchase I firearm I highly recommend staying away from this pawnshop it’s not worth your time or money

I pawned my iPad and bracelet at the scottsdale location. 91 days ago The location was shut down and my items where taken 10 miles away from my house! I went in one day late to pick up my items and Chris! The GM! For the company! The ONLY PERSON! You can speak to when you have an issue! HIS WORDS! He Forced me into renewing my loan! And and than paying the loan plus interest! In order to get my items back! They have no grace period! For late days! But yet they have a late fee!!?!? Not sure how that works! I would not recommend doing any business at this location! Or the company!!

Have brought multiple people in because I liked there gun selection and given them business and never was questioned. I brought my sister in to buy her first gun because her house was just broken into. I know more about guns so I showed her the coolest shotgun I thought they had and they refused to sell due to me not having my ID. I question any business that will sell to men but not women. They only claimed it was scetchy when I brought my family in. What a shitty way to make me and my family feel. Will never recommend again.

Pawn Now falls short of expectations on multiple fronts. The managers penchant for blaring Everybody Loves Raymond on an ancient TV set makes for an unpleasant atmosphere. Not only is the manager unhelpful and unfriendly, but the overall cleanliness of the shop leaves much to be desired. While I dont expect luxury from a pawn shop, the lack of basic courtesy and hygiene standards is disappointing. If youre in the market for a stereotypical, low-quality pawn shop experience with subpar customer service, Pawn Now fits the bill perfectly.

Terrible customer service. There was two guys at the counter and only one of them was attending a customer when I got there, the other one on the computer. After a few minutes waiting he decided to get to work and called me. They had posted an item on Facebook marketplace that i was buying from them, and the guy said he was going to hold it for me until 3pm. I drove one hour to pick it up but they said it was already sold. He didnt keep his word. Ill never try again.

If I could give this place negative five stars I would. The douchebag who opened the store doesnt understand customer service or running a business. I was standing outside the door waiting for it to be opened and once he open the door and said Ill be with you in a minute, because I walked in the door he instantly had an attitude. I asked why the attitude when I just got in store and he said I was staring him down while unlocking door then I I was rushed in the store. Are you serious? So sad that this idiot either owns or manages this business, he deserves brither. I would STRONGLY suggest shopping eksewhere. This guy is very disrespectful and doesnt deserve to have a business. If hes the owner hes an idiot and hopefully has to close down, if hes the manager he should be fired! Im so tired of these prima donnas who dont appreciate a customer or having the opportunity to sell something. I miss the days of business ethics. So sad. Went in to look at a used sig m18, terrible customer service (rude attitude), crazy prices and also lowballs you on your guns even if you are buying another one. Went to bass pro shops, they offered $200 more for my trade and I ended up with a brand new m18 instead of the used one they had at pawn now for only $20 more. I usually love pawn shops, but this one is just not it.

Poor customer service. Walked in no greeting, staff sitting in front of computer look upset and angry. I asked a question and was given a short reply with no desire to help (expected someone to stand up and maybe provide some service). Left very disappointed old ownership from the 90s and early 2000s was 100xs better.

As you walk in expect a hello but after that one can expect poor customer service and less than average company policies. Witch will leave any new Comer to the state wanting to look at my firearms (legally) reduced to window shopping. Once they saw my Nebraska license and heard my New Zealand accent they treated me with a highly skeptical attitude. Even after my credentials are switched to AZ, Ill not be spending my money here. Very disappointing.

I pawned an item at this location I called them on the phone to see if they can take card or only cash they said only cash I said wow that is ridiculous and hung up a little bit later I go in with the cash in hand give it to them get my item the taller guy with the beard said why were you so rough with my employee on the phone earlier what was the issue I said all I did was say wow that is ridiculous and hung up, he was trying to be a forceful intimidating to me because I said that on the phone so bottom line they have lost another customer

Bought a marlin / Glenfield 60 .22 from them though gun broker paid 45 $ shipping back in march... received the gun with a busted stock.. Countless emails voice mails and phone calls to both gun broker and the pawn shop.. recent contact over the last few days with no resolve still! The insurance on the shipping should have been filed and been paid to me for the damage...

Don t bother attempting to sell anything of value, seriously this place is a nightmare! I skated back and forth from my home in 100+ degree weather. Prepped & cleaned all of my stuff, valued at a little more than a grand. Then when I finally compose myself and get everything out, they offer me pennies. I wont be bringing any of my business here again sadly, nor will any of my family. We ve lived on Mesa Drive & Southern since about the mid 80 s. I ve personally lived down the street from them, for almost 19 years and I have never felt more disrespected. Hospitality was alright I guess, it coulda been better.

Went in to sell a firearm to turn around and buy a sig they had in their display case. They offered me 140$ for 750$ handgun. Totally disrespectful. I understand they get a lot of shady people in there, but the fact that they try and take advantage of every single person is bad business. Just a heads up before you go in...I recommend you stay away. They just care about making as much money as possible and dont give a damn about customers. Just to be fair, the staff was polite and friendly.

Stepped in to check out possible electronics. The young lady with dark brown hair sat behind the counter and said nothing to me (African American woman) and my partner (same race) a young Caucasian man walked in behind us and she said hello . Tried to look past it but I couldn t and left. There are plenty of businesses that would be grateful to even be open right now to employ people who don t act this way. Pretty disappointed.

Went with my brother inlaw to buy a gun.the lady judged me for having tattoos.made the guy do a background check on me wich i passed and she made him redo it.then stompped off mad when it was good.Never go here if you have tattoos or she will prejudge you like you are a criminal.Never will I shop there again.my family loves guns and buys alot but will never go here.

Today I stopped in Pawn Now for a new firearm. Once I arrived I was greeted by a warm welcome. The inventory was a bit more than expected. I pointed out which item I preferred to purchase, and within 40 mins or less my background check was cleared and I was on my way. Thank you guys for the stellar service. Keep up the great work! Would not recommend this place for a loan. Tried to tell me my Platinum ring was worthless, and even tried to scratch the first layer off to prove it was a gold overlay. Im pretty sure a jeweler knows a bit more than this lady did. Took my business to another pawn competitor. Tested it correctly...

Extremely dishonest. Sold me an untested product, and because they have me a discount on it they said they wouldnt take it back when it turned out to be defective. One guy said he was the manager then same guy said he was the owner, when I went in and talked to him another guy cut into our conversation and said he was the owner... So the two of them have a policy they claim to be held to but they have no authority to do the right thing and make it right, even though they both claim to be manager and/or owner. I couldnt even negotiate for store credit. If an item is defective, they should have the ethics to at least give credit --EVEN IF the item is discounted, its pretty dishonest to sell something that cant be tested and say as is no returns.

Today I spoke to someone at the main location. I believe it may have been the owner because he sounded extremely cocky and ignorant. Did not let me explain that I have a recording of Nick former past employer that was fired for bribing guest to post a yelp review in return for a discount on the accumulated interest witch estimated to be around $40 on my agreement when I ponded the gun. I had voice recorded the entire situation and you can clearly hear Nick telling me to go on yelp so I can get discount lol Anyways long story short , my dew date was on 10/05 Wednesday. I called and asked for Nick before the dew date. He was not there. They said he would be in the following day. I call no luck to be found. I was going to save $40 in the interest so I figured hey I ll wait until Nick returns on the weekend as stated by the other person that was covering for him. I than call back to pick up my gun at this point because it wasn t worth waiting, I have the cash but by than you guys switched over Owners. I am sorry if I have stressed you guys out by calling so much recently, however I feel as if I have been ripped off. With all respect I paid $600 for that gun and have a receipt I can provide. I borrowed $125 lol never saw my gun back. I can assure you that I have called once a week for past month and everyone confirmed that my fire arm would be returned once the license was approved. Today I spoke to someone over at the main location and turns out my gun is no longer there ? I will drop all civil law suite against you guys if you can just assure that I will have my gun returned to me as I just paid $7.50 for the ticket 2 days ago lol I am a bit frustrated:(

Worst experience from an FFL.. Lied about ship date and when rifle arrived the safety/trigger was broken. Packaging was horrible with a hole in the box and barrel exposed. Notified them within an hour of receiving the rifle and they said it worked when we sent it Horrible service don t trust this bunch!

They are so friendly and were able to work out a deal with me when I barely moved into my apartment and didnt have much to spend. Their fire arms are also amazingly priced. Thanks guys! Will for sure be returning.

Wasted my time, I called ahead saying I had a piece of art I wanted to bring in to pawn and after getting there was told they couldnt do anything for me. I told them I called in, read off the store number, confirmed the number with all three associates and was then lied to and told no one there spoke to me on the phone and that there was no one else there besides those three. Workers who dont want to do much other than absolutely nothing.

Theres not another reliable, Professional Pawn shop in Arizona. The Consistency with their Customer Service is admirable. One of the only Shops left that has not transitioned to a corporate establishment. Family owned, and they really make you feel as if you are apart of the family!!!

I came to pawn now on recommendation of a relative and the staff has been very helpful. They greeted me as I walked in and let me know that if I had any questions I just had to ask. They answered my questions immediately and they were very knowledgeable about the products they had on display. Have had many FFL transfers performed by Pawn Now in Mesa AZ. The experience has always been great. Super fast communication and top notch customer service. I would Highly recommend them for transfers as well as great shopping!!
